Nice place great family environment.

Not what the pictures showed! It was dirty, there were roaches and ants and flees biting our feet! No air conditioning in second bedroom! Communication to solve issues wasn’t great! They did refund our last 2 nights but honestly should have refunded our entire stay due to issues we communicated. Would not recommend this place!!!

Quaint atmosphere. Had a great time. Only problem we had was the stairs were too much for my mom (80 years old). Would book again tomorrow!

It was an amazing stay. The beach house has been kept up nicely inside with a full-service kitchen, ceiling fan and air conditioners in each room. There is a second story level deck with table and chairs to sit on and enjoy the night air and three different hammocks to choose from the lounge in around the property. They also have tiki hut for gathering day or night in a nice little pool ( 5ft deep max) whats plenty of lounge chairs surrounding it and even kids floaties to play on.

Great central location. Our cottage was well appointed, clean, and had ample space.

When you pull up to the property you wonder if you made the right decision in staying there. The buildings are weather beaten and made you wonder if the inside is the same. Much to my delight, the inside was beautifully decorated! The owners obviously put a lot of thought into the furnishings. I would describe the property as eclectic. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch at night and one of the staff members lived next door and was very welcoming. The only negatives that I would say is that, there was no iron, we could have used more soap (only 1 bar for both the sink and shower), and the air conditioning was window units which were loud. Other than that, it was a great visit.

The room was in excellent shape. Very clean, and above all the staff put your needs first no matter what time of day OR NIGHT! great property with tons to do!

The shower handle was very hard to turn. My Mom was not able to completely turn it. The hand towel holder in the bathroom kept falling off the wall. The steps to the loft were very steep. We didn’t even end up using it. The house got cold so they had to bring us a space heater.The house was remodeled. The staff was helpful.

Location, layout and amenities are amazing! There is a pool, foosball table, volleyball court, giant Jenga, firepit, you name it. Close to the beach. Kitchen is very well equipped. The buildings are in a more worn-out condition then youd imagine based on the pictures. The rooms were not clean enogh! I would higly recommend to clean the apartments more thoroughly (especially while the cleaning fee is automatically added to the price). Other than that, everything was great. Communication is flawless.

Great time the best place to stay

Beautiful resort! Granite countertops, stainless appliances, great bedding and the location was perfect. Close enough to walk everywhere but just far enough away to be peaceful! Beach is right across the street and plenty of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Also, a great pool area with games and activities for the whole family...would definitely recommend!!! Thank you for a fantastic time!

Overall, we were a little disappointed with the property...the standard one bedroom is advertised as sleeping 4 with a queen sofa bed. However, the futon is nailed closed as other guests have struggled converting it from couch to bed. So, our son just slept on it as a couch (kind of small though as he is 63). We didnt have all our bed linens or bath towels either upon arrival. The three things that were the hardest though were that the adjustable shower curtain rod is about 1/4 too short for the space, so it kept falling down. My husband put a folded washcloth between the end of rod & tile wall to hold it in place. Also, the toilet is angled awkwardly because there is not enough space for your legs if it faced the wall in front of you. It was really hard for my husband & son to use because they are tall. Third, it was really hard to turn on the cable tv box & the package is very limited in this room- we didnt even get basic ESPN so were unable to watch a couple games. Additionally, the patio door catches and is hard to close- you have to slam it. When leaving your room, the main door is sometimes hard to latch the automatic dead bolt when locking up because the door isnt aligned correctly. Though weve stayed at a lot of small properties like this in the past, usually someone is at the office during the day. We never saw the office open, so had to make 3-4 calls to reach someone. I felt embarrassed because I had to keep calling :(

Good Old Florida family vacation rentals. The people are nice the rooms are comfortable and have everything you need for a few days to a few weeks on the beach. Dont expect to be pampered, there is no restaurant or bar on property if you want that go to Diamond Head. This place is for hanging out with family and friends on beautiful Ft Myers Beach at a very reasonable price.

We were there for the boat races l, which for us worked out very well. The room was great, it was clean, but a little awkward. The Toilet was kinda weird offset in the bathroom and hard to use if sitting. We would most certainly enjoy staying there again next year, but for what they charged per night really opens the door to look elsewhere

Location was great especially with tram going right by the property. Quiet.

Great place, 2 minutes walk from the beach. THey have a small pool and BBQ shared with others. A bit expensive but it is worthy...

Check in time is 4pm but office closes at 3pm. I found out its self check in but I never received an e-mail with room number nor lock code. I finally got the info and got in about 6pm on Saturday to find out the room is nothing like the pictures. Very small, no kitchenette, linens missing, bugs galore. Walls and windows not insulated so the noise from the street hit over 80 decibels making it very hard to sleep. No heat either. Woke up to a very cold room. Killed many bugs, but they keep coming back. Only thing I did like was the pool, other than that, I would never stay here again.

Loved it!!! It’s close to the beaches/shopping etc, has contemporary rooms with a great pool and tiki hut. Rooms were spotless, had no issues with check-in/out and it’s much better value than anything in the area.

This property is a great place to stay for families. There are a lot of activities on the property and the location is great. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again

The location was great, very quiet but close to everything. Grounds were nice however we had some issues inside the unit. Staff was very nice.

My friend and I visited with our 4 kids, so there were 6 of us in the two bedroom suite. One child slept in living room. It was comfortable but very cozy. The two bedrooms were great, plenty of space and storage area, and the kitchen was large and easy to work in. The living room was fairly small compared to the rest of the space, but there were double doors onto a concrete patio area and beyond that the pool, so we were outside a lot. We enjoyed having hammocks to use and we had a fire in the fire pit one evening, all of which was fun. Location is very convenient

Recently remodeled, allowed pets, staff were super friendly& accommodating. Would love to try a canin next time.

We were there 4/10/17 to 4/15/17 and absolutely loved it! The managers were so friendly and helpful and accommodating. The apartments are comfy and feel like home and the location is excellent. For the length of time we were there (5 days) and the size of our group (5) there is no way a hotel room wouldve been enough. I was sad to leave but will definitely come back! Myerside Resort is highly recommended!

I was very confused where to check in. The office isn’t clear where it’s located. Loved how you felt at home once you got to your room.

We just checked in and they put us in the shrimp cottage and if you are tall you will not be able to stand up straight! Its for anyone under 510 its beyond dirty and old! Stains on furniture and bedding and it stinks! I wouldnt give it 1 star if that were possible! Absolutely overpriced for this craphole.

We came in to a very dirty room with hair strung in clumps across the floors and countertops. Dishes in the cupboards had food all over them. Blood stains on the bedding. Staff does not supply clean towels, so make sure you keep your provided towels as clean as possible. Pool area was clean though and lots of games and activities behind house, if you like staying in. About a 30 minute walk from downtown though if you want to go to the public beach, shops, or restaurants. Beach chairs were provided. Spotty wifi, but staff was helpful whenever we called with issues.

My family and I stayed at the resort for 1 week and we very much enjoyed our stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was amazing. We were suggested restaurants to go too withing walking distance and they were delicious. The beach is super close and the resort itself is beautiful. We hit a little bit of traffic going on and off the island but other than that no complaints. Defiantly recommend staying there and me and my family will be returning next year!

Great place! We had the Shrimp apartment, it was right next to the pool and it is a very quiet atmosphere, beach is just a walk away, as well as restaurants. Will definitely be back!

We stayed here Thanksgiving week in the Seahorse.....it was awesome!!! Perfect location!! You can walk to pretty much anything!! The beach is just across the road!! The only thing I would change would be the king size bed mattress, it was kinda hard!! Lol Excellent staff and owners!! Pool and game area super clean and nice!! Will be returning for sure!! Stay here!! Nice porch area, everything you need!!

My family and I rented a 2bd apt for mothers day weekend, it exceed our expectations! apt was super clean and the resort surroundings very quite which led to a great night sleep. beach is a 5-10min walk which is great! resort owner is nice and polite. i will definitely recomend this resort!

An absolutely lovely venue. Members of our party stayed here and everyone loved it. A beautiful place close to the beach but with plenty of privacy. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

We stayed four nights/five days there. Everything was clean they even left the lights on for us since we would be arriving late. The first two nights we had no problems, the family upstairs did wake us up in the morning, but it wasnt a big deal. The next two nights though was a different family upstairs. They would have us up all through the night being loud. We said something to the girl that was working there and she said she would email them. I wasnt sure why she wouldnt just try to talk to them, but we trusted her. It still happened the next night which luckily was our last night there. Also, the second to last day of our stay we were coming back in from the beach and there was a note on the door that they had changed the door codes and we would have to call a number to get the new door code then expected us to pay before she would give us the code. So while carrying all of our beach things plus it was raining we had to wait for our new code and pay to even get back inside the house. That is the reason we wont be returning.Other problems we had was the internet didnt work two out of the days we were there, the beach isnt as close as pictured, they had a note to not turn the air down any farther and being in Florida during summer it was hot, and the office had very limited hours.

Nice rooms with kitchenette comfortable grounds with salt pool, gazebo,hammocks etc. Walk to beach, restaurants, nature preserve with trails, library all less than quarter mile

Stayed In the shrimp house. Anyone over 58 will have a problem here.Im 57 and my head was a few inches from the ceiling.I had to sit down to put my shirt on or brush my hair I washed my hair in the sink because the shower head was to low.I put a towel on my head to dry my hair and almost broke my neck going threw the doorway because I forgot to duck. Widow unit in livingroom and master no air in 2nd bedroom.You need to leave the door open to get air in that room.Thankfully I was able to get a fan that helped some.Beds could be better in that room.This room is also in the front entry and the only entry.Beach was close across the street that was nice.Pool was nice and outside was very nice. I would not stay in that particular unit again.

Would be nice to have kitchen towels, dish clothes.

We were at Myerside 2/10/18 thru 2/17/18 and there were only a few negatives compared to numerous positives. + = Topps grocery 2 - 3 minute walk, beach 3 - 4 minute walk, ALL of the other renters were very nice people, special thanks to Phil & Roxanne, nicer folks dont exist, kitchen with pots, pans, plates etc so you dont have to leave every time you get hungry, barbecue grills, gas & charcoal, AC, Satellite TV. Location was great for us but probably not for the Spring Breakers as its too far to stumble home from the bars. In season price wasnt cheap but it was fair, the free trolley stops 150 - 200 yards from every door at Myerside, private swimming pool.- = ants in the bathroom sink, not crazy amounts or out of hand but still aggravating, hairball in the shower when we arrived (which is more on their cleaning staff than the proprietors) & dont count on a discounted taxi back to the airport, its $50 before tip. All things considered, Myerside at 145 School is a better deal than every other place I looked in Fort Myers Beach. Advice: cook your own breakfast as Moms & Heavenly Biscuits are beyond overrated. Lastly, I weigh 325+ & those walking times are how long it took me.

Great, we visited this place with 11 member of our family, booked 2 apartment, the best choice to enjoy familys holiday, very nice experience, for sure in 2018 we will repeat this choice

Our suite had 6’2”-6’3” ceilings . Husband kept hitting head in doorways. Room was also right beside pool deck. Other families played music and had a strobe light going until about 1:30 am. Not a very restful night .

I have been provided with the absolute worst customer service I have received in many years. I was displaced because of hurricane Irma, booked a room here (because there were no other options near my job) so i could get back to work as soon as possible to help with recovery from the storm. I cancelled my reservation within 3 hours of booking because I ended up being able to go home. Nathan informed me that since I had made the room unavailable for others to book, I was responsible for the entire booking a week later. I have since been charged $800 for a three hour booking that was in desperation because of the circumstances and was told by Nathan that thats the way it is. Having worked in many different service industries for decades, I would have expected at least the smallest bit of concern for customer care based on the fact that there were extenuating circumstances and this seems to be a privately owned, small town business. Beyond disappointed and disgusted with the way I was spoken to, especially given the reason for booking/ cancellation.

This would be great for a family vacation near the beach! Has everything! Stayed at the Conch house which has Master Bedroom and loft for kids. Full kitchen!

Advertised price? ad $60 cleaning fee plus other fees once you get there. My sister did a reservation for her unit and I did mine. Oh surprise! I got there and I have none sine we have the same last name, the gentleman at the office though we are the same people. He never sent me an email with the confirmation even though I did call 3 times asking for it. I was finally in a unit in the back of the office, not what I paid nor ask for. Ceiling is for a 4 ft person so I spent the 2 days walking on my knees. Never again.

Was a great time, very comfortable and cozy place near everything and just a jump away from beach, owners are wonderful people, and these suites are awesome wouldnt of wanted to stay anywhere else, cant wait to come back !!!

Nice appartemens, double bedrooms, extra restroom beside bathroom, with large common area. Very spacy balcony with pool below. Free wifi, but a bit slow (we have 10 connected devices in the family that seems to be more than it can handle). Washing mashine available for $1.50. 5 min walk to huge (10 km) beach, supermarket and resturants even closer. Nice little mangrove reserve nearby.

The place looks a bit shady, but its alright. There are cockroaches here, but thats kinda too expect in the summer in Florida.

Cute place, functional, great for a weekend stay. Close enough to visit times square, far enough to avoid the college kid scene

We have stayed at myerside before, and will again as we are local. It is well taken care of, close to home, a wonderful get away for us. I would definitely recommend it!the only complaint we have from the recent stay is that with all the COVID 19 going on, our room was double booked and the other family did not get a notice that they had been reassigned to a different unit. so it was much to our surprise when we were sitting outside the unit that a stranger opened the sliding door from inside the unit. They had been on our unit with our supplies and food, and they had the combination to our door. we expected that the property staff that showed them to their unit would return to talk to us, however that is the last we saw anyone for the weekend. I think that was not handled the best. Like I said, it will not detour us from staying there again, but I think follow up should have been a given in this situation. I do recommend this property.

I arranged a family getaway for the weekend and we brought along our dog this time. I rented 2 units which were very spacious. The beds were very comfortable and it had everything we needed. We even used the barbeque grill which was right outside our units. The pool was suppose to be heated but was a little cold but when we called they sent someone over right away to check on it. The only complaint is that I wish there had been a TV in the bedroom, but otherwise I would stay here again. My kids loved it because we literally had the resort to ourselves. Clean, Pet-Friendly and walking distance to beach.

Ruhige Lage,aber doch zentral gelegen.Mehrere Gaststätten zu Fuß erreichbar,Strand auch in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sonnenschirm und Stühle für Strand vorhanden.Sehr gute Küchenausstattung .Bequemes,großes Bett. Wir hatten die Wohnung Dolphin. Leider viele Ameisen in der Küche.Vorschlag, mal paar Ameisenfallen hinstellen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, eigene kleine Wohnung mit separatem Eingang, gut eingerichtet, gemütlich, sauber (außer ein paar Haaren auf einem Bett, war aber halb so wild). Ganz besonders gut zum Entspannen in der eigenen kleinen Anlage. Wir waren außerhalb der Saison da, sodass wir sehr ungestört waren. Daher hatten wir auch ein kostenloses Upgrade bekommen auf das Stingray Appartment, welches sehr schön war. Leider konnte man jedoch im Bad das Fenster nicht öffnen. Gebucht hatten wir das Shrimp-Appartment. Zum Glück hatten wir das Upgrade, da das Shrimp-Appartment eine Deckenhöhe von wohl knapp unter 2 Metern hat, was wir erst vor Ort erfahren haben. Sehr netter Kontakt mit dem Personal, müsste der Inhaber gewesen sein.Es gab direkt dabei einen kostenlosen Parkplatz, gutes WLAN, ausreichend Handtücher etc. In ca. 3 Minuten konnte man zum tollen Strand laufen. In der Umgebung gibt es diverse Ausflugmöglichkeiten, wie z.B. Downtown Fort Myers, Sanibel Island (mit Wildlife Park National Wildlife Refuge) etc. Ein Auto ist wie auch sonst in vielen Regionen der USA deutlich zu empfehlen.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Die Außenanlage war paradiesisch und gepflegt.Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit

Die Unterkunft besteht aus mehreren Ferienwohnungen. Ist man einmal da, benötigt man eigentlich kein Auto mehr. Zum endlos erscheinenden Strand sind es zu Fuß ca. 3 Minuten. Restaurants sind auf der Flaniermeile genannt Times Square genügend zu finden. Den Times Square erreicht man gut zu Fuß nach 1 Meile. Möchte man die voll ausgestattete Küche oder einen der Barbeque benutzen so kann man sich Lebensmittel aus dem Supermarkt direkt nebenan holen. In jedem Zimmer findet man Strandtücher, sowie Klappstühle zum mitnehmen an den Strand. An der Rezeption können auch Sonnenschirme und Spielsachen für Kinder ausgeliehen werden. Das Resort verfügt über einen beheizten Pool, Beachvolleyball Feld und viel Platz für Kinder zum Spielen. Es sind diverse Hängematten und ein Lagerfeuerplatz vorhanden. Direkt hinter dem Resort befindet sich das örtliche Schwimmbad mit Wasserrutsche. Hunde sind in jeder Größe erlaubt. Jede Unterkunft verfügt über einen kostenlosen KFZ Stellplatz. Wir wollten zunächst eine Woche bleiben, haben dann aber noch mal verlängert. Unterkunft ist definitiv weiterzuempfehlen.

Lage ist ganz gut, man kann fast alles zu Fuss erreichen, Stand in 3 Minuten zu Fuss, und ganz in der Nähe ist ein Supermarkt. Wohnung war auch ganz ansprechend eingerichtet. Leider wirkt es alles etwas ungepflegt, die Rezeption ist unregelmäßig und nur vormittags besetzt. Die Erstreinigung der Wohnung bei der Ankunft war sehr schlecht, von den Vorgängern lagen noch Verpackungsteile im Bad und auf dem Boden herum. Küche musste man noch einmal nachputzen, das war sehr enttäuschend. TV-Programmangebot und Internet waren dafür gut. Der Pool war beheizt, hätte aber noch wärmer sein können, besonders da es in der Woche, in der wir da waren, nicht so tolles Wetter war. Sonnenschirme gibt es in der Pool-Area nicht, angeblich wegen dem Wind. So war es aber viel zu knallig in der sonne, das müsste uE geändert werden.

Wenige Appartements, die sich auf drei Gebäuden verteilen. Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet. Die Matratzen der Betten sind sehr fest und machen bei der geringsten Bewegung Geräusche, die zum Aufwecken geeignet sind. Die Appartements sowie die gesamte Hotelanlage haben ihren besonderen Charme, jedoch wird auf eine regelmäßige Reinigung und Wartung wohl nicht allzu großen Wert gelegt. Der Strand ist in diesem Abschnitt sehr ruhig und ausreichend breit, jedoch nicht mit den Top Stränden von Treasure Island, FL, Destin Beach, FL oder Delray Beach, FL zu vergleichen.

Wir bewohnten im November 2015 eine Woche das einzelne Ferienhaus der Anlage zu Zweit. Das Ausziehen der Couch im Wohnzimmer ist möglich, ich würde eine höhere Belegung aber nicht empfehlen.Auffällig ist die sehr gute Ausstattung der Küche, größer Kühlschrank mit Icemaker, großer Herd mit Ceranfeld, Töpfe, Geschirr und Besteck, Geschirrspüler und vielen nützlichen Kleinteilen. Handtücher waren in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Die Einrichtung ist bequem und lädt zum wohlfühlen ein. Die Holzterasse mit Gasgrill hat uns sehr gut gefallen, auch der Poolbereich mit Sonnenliegen und Dusche ist gepflegt und ansprechend.Der Strand ist fussläufig in 3 Min. über die Straße hinweg zu erreichen, der Time Square kann erlaufen werden, das dauert aber schon eine gute halbe Stunde. Das Fahrrad ist hier eine gute Alternative.Der Strand selbst ist breit und gepflegt, jedoch hat uns die Wasserqualität nicht gefallen. Nach Sanibel sind es mit dem Auto nur gut 20 Min., dort gibt es wunderbare Strände. Auch ein Ausflug nach Naples ist zu empfehlen.Fazit: Ein angenehmer, zentraler und vergleichsweise preiswerter Ort zum Wohnen. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge oder einen entspannten Pool-Tag.Negativ sind uns nur die stark verschmutzen Fenster aufgefallen.

Sehr schöne kleine Anlage mit schönen Swimmingpol und allen notwendigen Küchengeräten (auch ein Gasgrill für jede einzelne Wohnung) für einen schönen Selbstversorgeraufenthalt. Einige wenige Restaurants sind aber auch im Fußmarsch zu erreichen. Zum Strand sind es ca 300 m. Die Lage ist etwas abseits der großen Wohnblocks, was wir als angenehm empfanden.

We were 6 comfortable, well equiped kitchen and appartment, more than required dishes ( enough to fill dishwasher), 2 sets of towell ( shower and beach) and beach chairs available. Close to everything ( grocery, liquor, beach, etc). Library really close and parks. Only caviat is the traffic jam as they redo the only street on the island.
