Wendy was a super host. The apartment was nice and clean and all the utensils and items provided were new. I had told Wendy that my friends flight had been cancelled and that he was arriving late that morning. She was very accommodating and she provides outstanding personal customer service!

Had an amazing time with the family. Lots of space, super clean rooms, loved the two grills, amazing beach and beautiful Sunsets... I will definitely be back soon....

This condominium was perfect it was super Clean,spacious, and very comfortable. I loved staying here because it was quite they were very strict about having parties or noise that is a plus for me when I travel. The condominium outside was clean and well kept. It had good amenities complimentary beach towels, rental cabanas or chairs with umbrellas for a rental fee.

Nice location, small and intermediate, lot of construction on the main road, makes it hard at this time to travel in and out, but with patience you may navigate out and about .

Ive stayed here three times now and each time is great. Great location on the beach - far enough from times square and the kids at Lani Kai, nice pool, gas grills you can use, and updated rooms. They also have a computer you can use to print your boarding passes. A short trolly ride to the north takes you to Publix if you plan to use the kitchen, and a short walk to the South takes you to Santini Plaza with restaurants, shops, and a liquor store.

Just stayed in the 2/2 for the weekend & had a wonderful time! The room was super clean & spacious. The staff was amazing & keeping everything clean during this pandemic. We will definitely be back.

Ive been coming to this place for years atmosphere is good and they take care of you place is clean have no complaints and they really do good cleaning for the covid 19 they keep everything sterilized.....

Hotel was very clean and well kept. The only downside was the road construction which made it difficult drive into the hotel entrance.

Very nice. Right off the beach and the building is set up in a really interesting way that gives the rooms a nice view of the ocean. I came here for a weekend but feel that this is more of a place to come for more than a week as it is set up to be more of a short term residence almost. Thats not to say that it is not a nice place to come for a couple of nights, but dont expect house cleaning to be included for example. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely terrific! Spent the holidays 2012 there and we will be back there again. Apartments are very nice and you cant beat that view every morning you look out the balcony!!!Xmas 2016...our 5th Christmas at Gulf View Manor! Still cant beat it!!!Back again for 2017 Xmas... Cant say enough about this place! Coming back every year until I can no longer drive (autonomous cars will hopefully be taking us after that!).Spending Easter 2018/spring break at Gulfview Manor. Just the wife and I this time, so we have a one bedroom apartment facing the beach. A picture is worth a thousand words...

Excellent location steps to the clean and beautiful beach, very friendly staff, huge balcony. Pet friendly condos and beach dogs must be on leash. Only no in suite laundry. Coin washers and dryers are on lower level. 4. 5 stars!

Very relaxing!! The beach, which is private, is basically your front yard. Staff is friendly. They provide a beach towel for each guest. 2 gas grills on site. Trolley stops right out front from the hotel, so vacationing without a car is very possible. My favorite place in Florida to stay, been a few times already, and will definitely be returning!!

Terrific place to stay at Fort Myers Beach. Includes small kitchen, screened in porch (not all views of the Gulf of Mexico are equal.) Pull out couch. Outdoor basic pool. Outdoor grills. Onsight parking is a bit cramped. Very clean grounds and beautiful beach. 6 floors but elevator in addition to stairs. Building includes 2 common use washer and driers.

The pool is very clean and a very comfortable temperature. It’s also a pretty good size. The porch for beachfront rooms has a great view and the screen is very good for keeping out bugs. The room is spacious with a kitchen that already has cutlery and plates already in it. i recommend this place

Amazing view + relaxed, quiet location with lots of sand! Beachside restaurants and other options are a short walk away too. Some noise on the beach each morning as a tractor aids set up of cabanas. Clean with a comfortable bed!!! Our apt did not supply any beach gear not even a towel or shade umbrella or kids life jackets, no salt/sugar/tea/olive oil/wine opener, etc or washer/dryer (there is a spot for them but its used as a closet). Pool is too deep for kids under say age 8 to touch in so stay alert / get them some some life jackets;) Grocery store Publix is a short drive up the island but there is STILL a lot of ongoing road construction. We like this location amd plan to stay again. Having a end/side unit with extra windows is great!!! View from little kitchen sink area and mester bedrm are great too!

Jeff and DoreneVery quaint and quiet, beautiful white sand beach front property, which is probably the widest in the area, that stretches for miles. You could walk, it seemed forever, and we enjoyed looking for shells along the way. Convenient trolley system that will take you south to Lovers Key and north to Time Square all for only .75 cents right out front from the Manor....you really dont need to rent a car here ( saves $ ) Do some grocery shopping and Cook your own meals or use their 2 gas grills on site, Awesome! The staff here is extremely nice and they let you really enjoy your stay.....I highly recommend Gulf View Manor....its also kid and pet friendly

What serendipity! The 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment with full kitchen and large outdoor screened porch was just what we needed for our family getaway. The property is on the widest section of beach, we used the beach service and jetski rental, in a non-crowded section of Fort Myers Beach. Easy and friendly check in and great service. Love this place!! Very homey feel not like a hotel falling. Can bring pets for additional fee which is reasonable. The beach is out your window super clean/ white. Full kitchen with everything you need to cook with etc. Trash chutes on every floor/recycling, valet carts available. Salt water pool. Lots of parking, restaurants shops within walking distance

We have vacationed in Ft Myers Beach for over 30 years. We stayed here back in June of 2018 and we liked it so much we came back! The units are clean and modern with wood flooring, tile and spacious living areas and balconies. Gulfview manot is located in the south end of the island and to me the nicest part because the beach is wide and not rowdy like it is towards the center of town by the pier. If you want to really relax this is the place. My only comment is that I wish the unit had in-room washer and dryer like most condos do on the island. But that’s me because I like to get home with clean clothing that I just need to put away when I unpack. Also it’s great for drying beach towels. They do have coin-operated machine at ground level though.

The views are just priceless. Its great being right on the gulf. The staff are nice. The hotel is clean. The pool is kept in good condition. The only drawbacks include just one elevator for the entire building. Also, you have to clean and put away all your dishes before you leave. However there was no soap and no sponge.

We did not enjoy our stay here at all. Wendy at the front desk was very rude and hateful as soon as we walked in. I believe I booked the room for 4, but according to Wendy I only booked for two. We could keep the room(since there was obviously plenty of room for 4) but there would be another $333.00 charge. Since all rooms on the beach were booked at the time, we had no choice but to take the hit. Wendy never did get in a better mood our entire stay. She was no help to us at all was rude when we wanted to trade our towels in, was rude when we asked. If we could take beach chairs to the beach and was just very hateful altogether.

We rate Gulfview Manor a 10! Wendy & Amanda are great, as is the whole staff. We had a gulf front unit, extremely clean & its pet friendly for larger dogs. The resort is directly on the Gulf, the beach is dog friendly too! Well definitely be back with our fur kids.

I am always skeptical when booking hotels but when I arrived everyone was so friendly and even greeted my dog with treats. The room felt like an apartment, had everything I needed. It was VERY clean and felt so homey They could use some updates, especially the building. The pool was great, clean and deep! Overall I was very pleased with this hotel, even stayed an extra night. Definitely will be coming back!

Dog friendly with plenty of grass for them to go out and lots of space for them to walk. It’s not a family vacation if we have to leave our fur-babies at home so we really appreciate this place being open to our large breed dogs (most places only allow dogs under 30-40lbs). Had a great time and really enjoyed the clean rooms with great views.

I was distressed to read the one-star review below and would like to set the record straight. I happened to be in the office when the two ladies in the party checked in. It was clear to me that the reservation had been made for only two persons, since the gulf front room they had reserved is intended for two adults only, with possibly an additional two children on the foldout couch. Consequently, this room would not have been shown as available on their booking site, had they designated four adults from the onset. It was made very clear to them upon check-on that an additional $25 per extra adult per night would be added to their bill, which they agreed to.As for Wendy acting “rude and hateful,” we have been guests at Gulfview Manor for several years and generally stay several weeks at a time. We have never once witnessed Wendy being rude to a guest; our experience is that she will always go out of her way to accommodate guests and meet their needs. If the parties in question felt she was being rude, perhaps their own actions caused them to have that perception.I would highly recommend Gulfview Manor to anyone looking for a very clean, comfortable, welcoming hotel with a stunning gulf view.

Accommodations are amazing. We had a direct gulf view and loved sitting out on the patio! Pet friendly and quiet. Cute movie theater across the street. A couple tiki bars within walking distance with good views and great food! Very helpful and friendly staff.

We have come here for 7 years with our friends and family. We have always enjoyed our time here.The staff is great with making this our home away from home. We like staying here because it is clean and quite. The apartments come nicely equipped so that we can cook at home. Beautiful gulf views, clean beach walking distance to shops and restaurants!

Our room was in perfect condition and layout is that of an apartment: very clean, large gulf front balcony with table, chairs and lounger, full size kitchen. The downside to this place was that they pretty much gave you a rule book full of things NOT to do and then extra things you have to do that arent typical at most hotels. You must wash all your dishes by hand before leaving (no dishwasher) and you have to take out your own trash, among other rules. Also, it lacked several items of convenience including shampoo and conditioner and there was no free coffee. Being that it had a kitchen, it wouldve also been nice to have salt and pepper provided. Overall pretty good, but they could step up their game just a little. Ive stayed at really crappy hotels that at least had shampoo/conditioner.

Where do I begin my description of one fabulous week stay right on the beach! I was impressed when I booked my stay on Travelocity and just a few hours later, Wendy from the Gulfview Manor Resort called me on my cell phone to Thank me for booking and welcome me to my trip to Florida! It was from that moment on I felt that I had made the right selection. The resort is immaculate! The facility is kept up daily by wonderful and friendly staff. Everything is clean as a whistle and the grounds are beautiful! My room was spotless, clean, cheery and the bed was very comfortable. I had a Gulf Front Corner One bedroom, Full Kitchen apartment. I cannot tell you how perfect it was. I could not find one thing in the negative about this place. A real GEM of a resort! I was only there one week but next time it will be for two or maybe three weeks! Totally worth it to stay and I am definitely returning.

I have been to this location the past 3 years. I happy to report we have never had an issue. the staff is very friendly and willing to accommodate. not that we need much accommodating. Guests are responsible for their own rental such as dishes and taking out the garbage. We have never had a problem cleaning up after ourselves. The beach is beautiful!!! Wish they had a bar located closer but a short walk up the beach you can find one. The pool is a nice option for the kids. The trolley stops right out front the property which is such a convenience. This year will make trip #4

Great rate for govt/police. The 4 person limit for a room with 2 queens beds and a queen sofa bed is ridiculous. Easily sleeps 6. Anything above the 4 and they charge extra. Rooms are clean, easy beach access.

Typically when I travel, I am a bit of a hotel snob. I like to pick fancy resorts because I want to feel pampered when Im away from home. I picked this hotel as a deal and was extremely reluctant about the accommodations and what we would be walking into. Our family of 6 and another family of 4 traveled together and we were both extremely pleased with the hotel and our rooms. Everything was very clean and the layout was large and open enough for our kids to feel comfortable. Our 2 bedroom space had a huge wrap around patio that the kids loved playing on and eating their lunches. The hotel is steps from the beach and just immaculately kept. I cant say enough how pleasently surprised we were about this hidden gem. We will be back again next year with more families this time and our stay will certainly be longer than just a weekend. Do not let the pictures fool you on this one!

This was our first time at this resort and we very much enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even hosted a barbecue one night which allowed us to meet others staying at the resort. The beach was great, large and constantly being kept up. The gulf front room we stayed in was clean and had an awesome view! We will definitely return. Thanks Wendy, Terri and the entire staff!

My new wife and I chose this place for our Honeymoon. It was a fortunate choice. It was very clean and neat and we had a beautiful view of the Gulf from our balcony. However the weather didnt want to cooperate. We had intended to stay for 3 days, but ended up leaving the afternoon of the second day since the forecast was for more rain and wind. Even though we left after 3pm the management graciously refunded our final day even without our asking.If you want to be away from the heavy tourist area, then you will love this place. Still plenty of nice restaurants close by and the beach area is huge. Nothing disappointed but the weather. Norman Hall

My husband David and I absolutely love this place. We came here 2 years ago and are currently staying here now. Its just as wonderful as it was 2 years ago. The rooms are large, very clean and well taken care of. The staff is always very friendly. Its like a home away from home feel. We wont stay any other place when we vacation down this way.

Two of us stayed for Friday thru Sunday. Had a beach front room on the 3rd floor. Balcony was bigger then most we have ever encountered and had a direct view of the beach. Room very clean and had all the amenities a room for four would need. Staff friendly but never had a problem so never really encountered them after check-in. Resort is in a very central location and close to everything. Resort is pet friendly. Smokers are limited to outside the resort but plenty of area is provided. Resort has two gas grills which were used a lot. Nice pool.

Very spacious rooms with a king sized bed. Great location to the beach. No room service though and no daily maid service. You have to pay 25 dollars for cleaning services.

This hotel is very nice. It is currently being updated with new furniture, wood & stone floors and new paint. The room was clean. The king bed slept well. We stayed in Rm 36 which is an oceanfront room and the view was awesome. The balcony is screened in so you can sit out in the evening and not have to worry about the bugs. You need to be aware that these are apartments and not a hotel room meaning it is stocked with all the basics (dishes, dish towels, bath towels, etc...) so you will have to make the beds yourself and they do a laundry pick up on Wed. to replace all used towels and linens. The water in the bathroom shower never got really hot, so we took lukewarm showers. The pool is located on the side of the resort instead of the back, which is a bummer. It is always nice to be able to lay out at the pool and view the ocean too!! The beach is perfect... we were there a week and never felt crowded at all. There is a movie theater right across the street which was great for the evenings. The Crab Shack (which is about 5mi away) is a great place to eat.. very reasonable and kids 12 and under eat free!! Over all is was a great trip and we would stay here again!!!

Our visit to Fort Myers Beach was made perfect with the great view over looking the sand beach and water from our room. The room was clean and inviting and the staff was friendly and accomodating.
