The facility itself was very nice. Our condo was advertised as kid friendly, which the room itself was, but the majority of the other guests were not child friendly. In the photos, it looks like the ocean is not far, but in reality its like a football field and a half to the water. Again, not a huge deal, but was a very long walk for little legs. All in all, not a bad place, but definitely wouldnt stay here again.

Fantastic family place. Clean neat and tidy. Beach was awesome. Long walk to ocean, but thats mother nature not anyone else. Will definitely be back and rent again!!

Carlos Point has the best value in Ft. Meyers Beach area. Great place to get away. If you are looking for a relatively quiet place to get away, this is the place. Convenient location to shopping, several local beaches and travel to Naples. The tide was pretty strong during my visit in September so we had to travel a few miles to the beaches on the north part of the island to enjoy the gulf waters. But because of the strong ties this beach is a great place to gathers shells!

I absolutely loved this place! Direct ocean views from the living room and bedroom, but with all of the comforts of home. It was peaceful unless you dont like the sound of birds outside the balcony (it was wonderful to me) and so beautiful. There was a bit of a walk to the beach from our condo(maybe 5 minutes, seemed way longer on hot days lol) but it was nice because anyone at beach could not be heard while we were enjoying coffee while ushering in the day. The kitchen included everything we needed to prepare meals and there were plenty of towels and linens for us to use for the week. The staff that we saw were all pleasant when we did see them, which was not often. The only thing that I didnt like is that I couldnt stay!

Great facility, not as close to the water as Id like, but very clean and up-to-date. Water is not clear here as advertised nor is the sand white.

The location is very natural, the view is beautiful, the beach is quite desolate but for people that love privacy is perfect. Depending on the weather you can be inside the water, there is a lot of sargassum. The place is a natural reserve with turtles and birds that have their places for natural preservation. Who likes to fish, ride a boat and pick up different types of snails, this location is perfect. The space in between the building and the beach is about 600 ft in all sand. The condo is okay for 6 people, one King bed in the master room, two twins bed in the second bedroom and one Queen sofa bed in the living room. All beds are very comfortable. The kitchen need more Teflon frying pan and more coffee cups, but the kitchen is remodeled, all appliances are new. In general Carlos Pointe Vacation Rental is a good location for a relaxing vacation.

Its a nice place but the beach is not good there are a lot of shells and it may just be a summer thing but there are a ton of birds on the beach and you cant go on most of it because its blocked off by their nesting area and if you get close they attack you

We arrived on Friday and contacted the owner that microwave didnt work. A week later still no microwave! Idk if its bedbugs or what but something has ate us up this week. Half of electric switches dont work. If you have a bird phobia dont stay here. Bird sanctuary on the long secluded walk to the beach. Pool and condo area very clean and well furnished.

Staying at Carlos Pointe #212. Clean condo, however outdated. Needs a few repairs such as headboard in master bedroom broken, not all burners on stove work, some small appliances need replaced, ceiling fan on patio makes terrible noise.On very south end of Ft. Myers beach, very quite. Beach has lots of shells. No chaise chairs permitted to be taken from pool area and unit does not provide beach chairs. Calm water. Lots of boaters and jet skis passing by.With some minor repairs and updating this could be a really nice unit.

Nice condo - clean & well kept. Great location!!

The beach is deep and has tons of shells. The condominium is very nice, up-to-date, and very quiet - which may or may not appeal to you, depending on what youre looking for. North of here, the beach is narrower and more occupied and more active. This area is perfect for a family with younger children (which is what we wanted). The pool is nice, but somewhat on the smaller side for the size of the condominium.

Really nice facility. We visited some friends and had dinner with them. The view of the gulf is nice and there was a nice pool as well. The room had a kitchen, seating area, and two bedrooms.

Beautiful condo overlooking the ocean.... but in the off season beaches are not maintained as well. Beach is a good walk from the condos and it was not a swimming beach at all. Wonderful for finding shells!

Nice place to vacation. If you need a 4 bedroom suite, youll want to consider this place first.

Awesome place.

The only thing is that if you have a lot of stuff you will have to make multiple trips to get your luggage to your room there are no luggage carts

Room is great!...updated and clean. It wasneverytbing I hooednitnwould be! Pool is nice...rules a little rigid but we like the quietness of this place.

Everything we had hoped for and more!This condo was absolutely wonderful. Yes, some said it was slightly dated; it was comfortable, clean and offered everything we needed. You will love the Wi-Fi and washer, dryer. Flat screen with cable in every room. The view trumps all else! There are some chairs and as umbrella for the beach which is quiet and serene. Pool is great too and the cleaning crew keeps the entire facility sparkling. Simply beautiful! Distinctive Vacation Rentals made the experience simple and easy. The complex looks old and run down. Nothing has been modified or changed in years. Would love to see a hot tub added and some renovations done to the pool area to make it more welcoming.

The beach is pretty secluded compared to the rest of fort meyers beach. However, the walk from the condo to the water is pretty long.

The stay has been okay. The beach around here is a little disappointing. It is not well kept. Id probably stay further up the beach if I came to Fort Meyers again.
