Amazing view from the balcony. We could admire beautiful sunset from the comfort of our room. Very nice, clean beach with white sand. Apartment is not prepared for the gusts who arrive for a short time and travel by plane. There is no cleaning services, but yet there is no cleaning supply. With the exemption of Windex and a few dishwasher tablets there was nothing else, not even a broom or a mop. There are two very old vacuum cleaners and none of them was working well. Three beach chairs and two of them were completely broken. When we called Vacation Rental office they brought us two dollar store chairs not even a beach chairs.Broken beach umbrella, broken drying rack on a balcony. We had no place to dry our towels.Very cheap bathroom and beach towels, again they look like from the dollar store. Providing a decent supply for the renters should not be very expensive, considering the rent is quite expensive and the owner could invest a few dollars in a quality towels.

This beach is technically part of Lovers Key State Park. There is a self-service pay box with the entrance fee being $2/person and a tag you hang on your rear-view mirror. There are porta-potties and trash cans near the entrance. Nice sandy beach with some sea shells. Closer to the bridge and when you go a bit deeper in the water there is a fair amount of muck/algae that can get unpleasant. Signs are up regarding rip currents and no swimming being allowed.

The only real complaint was the shower water did not get hot enough.

We liked the private beach. The pool area was nice and the lobby/common area was very nice. We picked this place because it said they furnished umbrellas, chairs and beach towels. There were only 4 umbrellas and most days we werent able to get one as they were reserved early. The beach towels were skimpy and no bigger than the cheap white bath towels they used.

I would stay here again in a heart beat! I love how you have access to the private beach and pool and love how its all gated! Loved dining at Flippers too!

Couldnt get into the room using the numbered keypad! Had to call the Emergency number since there was no Front Desk, and the young lady showed up within 10 minutes and managed to finally get us into the room! The next morning she was there with maintenance at 8:00am and proceeded to put in a new keypad mechanism!Other than that it was great!

We stayed in 1108, on the 11th floor, gulf view, February 14 to 21, 2018.. This building went up in 1984, among 2 other high rises nearby. Surrounded by water and green areas, the Lovers Key State Park will keep this easternmost part of this island as pristine as it is now, hopefully forever. Evidently, all of the units in this building are single bedroom. The kitchen is lacking size and counter prep space in 1108. This unit has not been used by the owner in a long long time. Strictly for rental and income purposes, as we could tell by lack of updating and general repairs, mostly cosmetic. There is a stained and un attractive queen sized pull out couch in the sitting room that should really be replaced. There is really not enough room here for more than 2 people. But the location cant be beat, and we have been to several luxury condos and resorts in the Fort Myers Beach area, usually Gulf front, over the years. The condition of the common areas is superb. Pool, semi private beach on the bay, landscaping, lobby seating and lighting, even a quest laundry. The Lovers Key Beach Club is gated, mostly appreciated by older folks, who can be surprisingly friendly and helpful. It is very peaceful here.

Loved the location and view from our balcony. Kitchen stove and fridge were nice. What I didnt like about our unit was that in many respects it was outdated - TV (screen was like 15 in.) way too small, my home computer had a larger screen. Carpet was outdated better if it had hardwood floor (at check-in lady told me the owner will be changing floor this coming Sept- Oct) too bad it was not before. Bathroom needs upgrade but was clean and spacious. The lock to our unit was still using key and had hard time opening and closing it each time we went out (other units had keypad locks)

I booked this during the aftermath of Hurricane Irma since we had no power for 4 days. The day I drove down to check in our power came back on. Because it was booked on Orbitz it was a week stay non-refundable. I find this policy unacceptable since we were in a federal state of emergency. Its too bad for someone else could have used it since we never spent one night at the apartment.. Im out $1100 and feel I was taken advantage of during a state of emergency. I find the non-refundable policy unacceptable. The room smelled bad and the closets were filthy. The sliding doors need attention and the room smelled bad. The blinds were old and broken and the room had an aura of neglect. It has great views, but Im glad I wasnt able to stay there.

Had a beautiful but basic apartment with 240 degree views over the bay, nature reserve and beach. Lovely balcony although could have done with an patio umbrella as it had the sun all day so was too hot to stay on. Bed was spacious and comfy. Bathroom had bath with shower over and no plugs for bath or basin which was annoying. Very very noisy air conditioning and not sufficient for the room space. If you were sat on sofa you were freezing, anywhere else boiling hot. Had full size cooker with oven but only saucepans provided which was very poor. The management committee kindly got me a pan for the oven. Lovers key beach resort is a wonderful place especially if you like relaxing, beautiful scenery and wildlife

The condo needed serious updating and some repairs. Rest of the package was good. Saw some other units which were in better condition and had much brighter decor, which would have made the stay much more enjoyable.

Hotel itself is neat,clean and quiet. If you want a quiet place to stay, this is it. The room was clean but dated. The tub was very slow to drain so that as you shower, you were in ankle deep water. The tv was small and the two remotes required to operate the tv had no instructions. The kitchen area was fine except that the refrigerator had a slow water leak inside. The bed was neat and clean as was the rest of the room.Nice view from the balcony. We had plenty of towels supplied by the staff during our stay. The bars of soap were the size of postage stamps.Shopping carts and luggage carts are supplied at the entrance. Also the facility is gated so you need a password to enter which was nice. Also, the hotel entrance is also password protected.

Best thing - the view! Our condo faced the bay as well as the gulf. We saw dolphins and sea turtles swimming right out in front of our condo. Wonderful sunsets! The condo could use a few updates but it grew on us quickly. It is generally taken very good care of. Many of the units are owned by long-term guests but all were very friendly. We were not located on the main strip but we liked it...nice and quiet, clean quiet beach. State park just down the road. There is no on-site manager (had to check in at a different location but it was on the way from the airport so it worked.) And when we needed something, we just called and they were very helpful and friendly. Overall, we would give it a 9 out of 10.

We spent a week at Lovers Key in early March. The weather was great and the accommodations were very nice. These condos are geared toward older adults which suited us perfect. The beach is small but nice and the landscaping was very well kept. The appliances in our unit could use some updating but everything was clean and comfortable.

Room was a bit run down, needs paint and carpet. Sofa had a scent to it. Very small tv. Great location and access to a very long beach. Wonderful views.

This is not a hotel, but privately owned 1 bedroom condos. The location was great, but our condo was badly in need of restoration. The unit is managed by JE properties, which included sporadic room service of very low quality linens.Hotels.com lost a lot of credibility with me. I wont use the service again.

Very disappointed. It was not a fully equipped kitchen. We lacked most of the basics like oven mitts, grapefruit knife, kitchen scissors, tea kettle, salad bowls and more. It was very very basic. The cleaning service was awful, the shower door was stained by soap scums, the base of the shower had not been cleaned when we arrived, there was soap residue still in one of the soap holders. We had to request to clean the shower but they cleaned only the door. We were told that everyday we could have towels changed and make the bed. Once a week a change of bed sheets and a full cleaning. In the 12 days we were there, they never washed the floors or vacummed . We requested to have at least a toilet brush to clean the toilet bowl, we got one but without the container. We were not supposed to do that, it should be part of the regular cleaning. We had to request the change of sheets because it has not been done after 7 days. The internet connection was extremely slow, we had to go down the lobby when we needed it, Its inacceptable in 2015 in the USA to be without internet access. We were getting disconnected very often and this is when we could get access. We encounter cigarettes odors many times, it was like someone was smoking in the entrance of our unit but it was a smoker down the hallway that left its door open to probably change the air in his own place and we were getting it in ours. Its definitely not worth the price we paid out season for this. We left 2 days earlier.

My wife and I spent a week at the condo and our stay was fabulous. Quiet and peaceful.

Private Beach is amazing. Really enjoyed the quiet beach.

The hotel was very clean and the beach was beautiful. Will come back

Dirty rooms. Never cleaned. First room had no hot water. Sliding door broken. No heat available. Room had been used and bed slept in when we arrived in the middle of the night. No hairdryer. Then broken hairdryer. Half roll of toilet paper. Have to phone other hotel to get clean sheets. Room service means your bed is made and clean towels. Floors filthy. Rust on doors. Location and view were only saving grace.

Wonderful.

The beach is Beautiful. Im going back.

Das Appartmenthochhaus liegt auf Lovers Key mit dem gleichnamigen Naturpark und liegt ca. 40 Fahrminuten vom Flughafen Southwest International entfernt. Die Anlage verfügt über einen abgeschlossenen Privatparkplatz, Swimmingpool und kleinen Privatstrand. Der Naturpark mit langem Sandstrand beginnt direkt am Haus. Die Lage ist ruhig und naturnah. Für Unternehmungen bietet sich Fort Myers Beach an, das ca. 15 bis 20 Fahrminuten entfernt liegt. Nächster Supermarkt ca. 10 Fahrminuten entfernt. Die Wohnung war zweckmäßig eingerichtet und ideal für 2 Personen. Ein Schlafsofa ist vorhanden, aber für längere Aufenthalte mit Komforteinbuße. Die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgt extern, was reibungslos funktioniert hat. Allerdings ist bei späterer Anreise Organisationsaufwand notwendig.

Die Lage mit direktem Zugang zum Naturreservat mit kilometerlangem Strand und einem eigenem Strandabschnitt ist toll. Kleiner Wermutstropfen: die Brücke. Da sich der Verkehr in Grenzen hält hat es uns nicht so gestört. Die Anlage ist gepflegt. Einfahrt nur mit Code. Die Schlüssel im Flamingo Inn, Estero 6090 abholen sonst kommt man nicht rein!! Die Wohnung war zweckmäßig und wohnlich mit Wohnküche, Bad, Schlafzimmer und Balkon. Sauber aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Jedoch der Ausblick ist einfach umwerfend. Es gab Liegen und Stühle am eigenen Strand, jeden Tag frische Handtücher, der Müll wurde entsorgt und Betten gemacht.

Die Lage ist optimal . Allerdings direkt an der Straße und vor der Brücke von Loverskey nach Fort Myers Beach . Mich hat der Verkehr nicht gestört obwohl ich sonst sehr lärmempfindlich bin .Vom Balkon aus hat man einen traumhaften Blick über die verschiedenen Stände und Buchten . Die Anlage hat einen schönen Pool und auch einen eigenen Strand mit Liegen, die man nutzten kann ; Der Service beschränkte sich darauf die Handtüchen zu wechseln und den Müll zu entsorgen ;Betten wurden trotz Vorgaben nicht gemacht ; Das Appartment hatte keinen Safe und war ansonsten relativ lieblos (mit Plastikpalmen und selbstgebastelten Rollrollos) ausgestattet. Allerdings nicht abgewohnt aber insgesamt wirkt die Einrichtung etwas billig

Wir waren im 12. Stock - fast zu oberst. Jeden Tag Sonnenuntergang, dafür hört man Straße. Aber ganz nah an ganz langem Strand, Naturpark, dafür etwas abgelegen. Küche war nicht so gut ausgerüstet.

Wir genossen 10 schöne Tage im Lovers Key Beach Club und waren mit der Anlage sehr zufrieden.Allem voran kommt man erst mit einem Code auf die Anlage, was einem ein sehr sicheres Gefühl vermittelt. Zudem sind genügend Parkplätze vorhanden, was wichtig ist, da man ohne Auto doch schnell in Langweile verfallen könnte, da ein Wegkommen von der Anlage ansonsten sehr mühsam ist. (Alles sehr weitläufig gelegen, wie fast überall in den USA, daher Auto nur empfehlenswert).Die Anlage ist im Gesamten sehr gepflegt, ebenso der Pool mit Jacuzzi. Es gibt zudem einem BBQ Grillplatz, der keine Wünsche offen lässt.Die Apartments sind typisch amerikanisch eingericht und mit allem was man braucht. (Küche voll ausgestattet, jedoch von uns nicht benutzt worden).Leider merkt man etwas, dass das Apartment die schönste Zeit schon hatte, was uns aber überhaupt nicht gestört hat.Kurz gesagt, das Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert. Man sollte sich nur vorher im klaren sein, dass ein Auto erforderlich ist.Angenehm ist auch, dass für Leute die sich der englischen Sprache unsicher sind, der Check In auf dem Weg zum Lovers Key Beach Club (alle Informationen erhält man dann bei Buchung) im Flamingo Inn erfolgt, dass von einem deutschen Inhaber, mit polnischer Ehefrau geführt wird und man daher sowohl auf polnisch, als auch deutsch und englisch empfangen wird.

Der Lovers Key Beach Club hat eine absolut fantastische idyllische Lage. Links und rechts befindet sich das Meer bzw. die Bucht. Mehrmals am Tag konnten wir Delphine beobachten. Sogar einige Manatees haben wir von unserem Balkon aus sehen können. Traumhaft !!Wir hatten eine Suite im 11.Stock. Die Ausstattung war absolut gepflegt und alles war sehr sauber.Haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten eine kleine Küche mit Mikrowelle,Kühlschrank,Backofen,Geschirr ... es war halt alles da was man brauchte, kleines Wohnzimmer mit TV und kleine gemütliche Schlafecke ebenfalls mit TV.Vor dem Haus befindet sich ein kleiner, aber von der Größe ausreichend, Privatstrand. Liegen, Schirme und Stühle war massenhaft vorhanden. Es gab auch noch einen großen Pool, an dem ebenfalls massig Liegen vorhanden waren. Auf der Anlage befanden sich auch vier Gemeinschafts-Grills, die sehr sauber und gepflegt waren. Dort haben wir auch einige Male gegrillt.Man kommt nur mit einem Code auf die Hotelanlage und für das Haus, Pool etc. benötigt man ebenfalls einen anderen Code. Das gibt einem ein Gefühl von Sicherheit.Das Hotelteam (hier nochmals vielen lieben Dank für die super nette Betreuung an das ganze Team vom Flamingo Inn) war total nett und wir fühlten uns hier gleich sehr wohl. Die nette Dame an der Rezeption sprach auch deutsch.Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Hotelwahl und haben dort eine wunderschöne Woche verbracht. Und wir würden diese Anlage auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Wir waren 14 Tage hier.Mit dem Blick auf Bay und Meer vom 11tem Stock-das war unglaublich schön.Delfine unzählbar.Strand und State Park im natürlichem Zustand,also viele Muscheln,Vögel,Krabben usw.zu finden und sehen.Die Anlage ist ok,deutschsprachige Betreuung vom Flamingo Inn super.(hier bekommt man die Schlüssel)Der kleine Strand an der Brücke, gut das muß man mögen, aber 10 min weiter hat man genug Beach. Gute möglichkeit nach Naples und Ft.Meyers zu fahren, man liegt mittig.

Tolle Lage, super Hausverwaltung.Hat alles prima funktioniert.

In dem Appartment ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, plus privater Strand, Pool und eine geniale Aussicht! Ich würde jederzeit wieder hin.

Es war wieder toll nach dem wir 2008 erstmals in der Anlage waren war es klar das wir wieder kommen.Super war auch das wir das gleiche Zimmer wieder bekommen haben.Die Eigentümer die in der Anlage wohnen sind sehr nett.Jeden Tag wurde der Müll entfernt und die Handtücher gewechselt.1x in der Woche wird gereinigt und die Bettwäsche gewechselt.Wir werden wieder kommen.

Anfangs waren wir von der Sauberkeit entäuscht auch waren einige Glühbirnen defekt.Nachdem wir reklamierten wurde alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit beseitigt.Die Lage und der Ausblick in den Lovers Key State Park sind einmalig und man kann stundenlange Strandspaziergänge im Park unternehmen.Auch die Eigentümer die in der Anlage wohnen sind sehr nett.Wir werden wieder kommen.

Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis .Das App. ist sauber und hat eine gute Lage zum Nationalpark.
