Awesome hotel, love that each room or cottage is a different name and each one is decorated differently. We had the Rossina and Sundial rooms on the 2nd floor looking directly at the beach. Such a beautiful view with chairs to lay on right out front of our rooms to just stare at the beach or enjoy the stars and hear the waves. (All of us did this!) The beds are so very comfortable and it we all had a great nights sleep. We will definitely, without a doubt, be staying here again very, very soon.

If your looking for a great low key vibe, this is the place. Staff was great nothing fancy just great home away accommodations

Super friendly and accommodating. Andrea made lunch every day we were there. It is walking distance to everything and a quick walk across the street to the beach. Our bedroom was quaint and comfortable. It was perfect for our needs.

It is the best hidden gem on fort Myers. The staff is always kind, the rooms are amazing and theyre all different!!! It is my favorite place in a great location!!!

I would stay there again. Nothing fancy but near everything on FMB. Beach is less than a 2 minute walk as well as tons of restaurants and bars.

This place is like Old Key West. Very quaint, peaceful cottages. Nestled in the heart of Fort Myers Beach, 2 blocks south of Times Square. You can walk across the street to get to the beach access, or walk to the numerous restaurants / bars / shopping. I love the family atmosphere of this place. Feels Like Home when youre there. Theres no place else on Fort Myers Beach that I would rather stay!!!! Dont forget to check out the DOGHOUSE Restaurant on property some of the best food around.

If you like a place that has neat cottages, its really great place. Had alot of fun. Was with a group of people.

Andrea and her staff are amazing...so friendly and helpful....they make you feel like family....even cook lunches for anyone who wants to grab a bite without leaving their sun-bathing time....repeat vacationers cant wait to catch up with one another from year to year.....family friendly place that includes pets.....would recommend to anyone....been coming here in same room for about 6 years now and booked for next year already!

Friends from Kentucky come down every year and stay here for a week!Staff is friendly super nice pool. Rooms are clean just enough space and if you can get one of the units up stairs I would recommend 100% worth the view.

Quaint, clean cabins. Just across the street from beach, and a very short walk to Times Square. Somewhat pricey. Ended up looking elsewhere because, even after staying there 6 Christmases over 7 years, they always asked have you stayed here before? when we made reservations, and made no effort to acknowledge when we were there, the number of times (and thousands of dollars) we had spent with them.Still, its hard to beat the location.

Nice but expensive for what you get. This past weekend the owner and staff were more interested in the closing of the bar across the street and the party there than their paying guests. Really out of the ordinary for this place. Older hotel, back part of our room not level, as the other guests stated, going into the canal behind it. Tried to bring up a problem with staff but they just werent interested.

Rooms were very clean and slept everyone comfortably. Love how close it is to everything on the island!

Silver Sands is accommodating, friendly, and works with the customer in mind. Sandy and Donald went out of their way to find a place for our dingy also. I highly recommend a vacation with them at their comfortable resort on Fort Myers Beach.

This property is nothing but cute! And the staff is awesome. They are so accommodating and make you feel right at home. You can not beat this location. Within walking or trolley to everywhere and the beach is literally across the street! I came to spend the weekend with my daughter, will be returning!

Fantastic spot and location. Leave the rent a car at the airport. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Its truly a family atmosphere and a great place for a great price.

Management was very unprofessional. The facility was not very family friendly. We had a group of three in the pool after dark, and had maintenance come threaten to call the cops because of complaints without asking any questions or discussing anything. (Our neighbors watched us like hawks all weekend, and we assumed they were seasonal travers here) The next morning? The owner walked into our room and stated we were going to discuss last night. Assuming our rude neighbor’s wife just barged into our room, I ask, “and who are you?” “I’m the owner,” was the reply and she informed us we would be kicked out without refund if there were any other complaints. My boyfriend kindly says, “excuse me ma’am-“ but was cut off by her with “I don’t even want to hear it! I spoke to SIX other residents about it.” And left. Funny things is? Nobody was outside besides my family. All of which who were residents. Not only was the management terribly poor, but the beds had imprints from so much use. And if you plan to sleep four in a room? Make sure you don’t get the futon/pull out couch. It was the most uncomfortable thing to sleep in, and in fact I slept on the floor because it was so awful. I’d never been happier to get back to my bed.

Perfect location. Easy walk to beach. Comfortable bed. Definitely would recommend this resort to anyone interested in being close to the action. Traffic is horrible though, but that is true of everywhere near the bridge.

Always puts smile on my face . Small, colorful, dream Wonder village, most imported quiet. TG not motels party rooms, *Perfect Getaway* we always picked quiet season our first time there 2014 honeymoon WK, than around every year same time with the small boat around the back or with car. just peacefull, clean and easy get around. management so helpful, Smiley too everything looks clean and fresh and most importantly nobody bothers nobody, to us allways perfect Getaway thanks you guys, keep up the good work. we LL see you soon.

Best place to stay on the Beach!

Our family adores staying at the Silver Sands beautiful tropical Oceanside Resort actually its across the street from the ocean but you can see it theres a pool a laid-back atmosphere and adorable cottages we go there every year

This place is perfect! I love the small community feel.

Although the facility was clean, it hasnt been upgraded in years. Mattress very WELL used. Had to turn AC off because it was roaring like a Harley Davidson. Glad we only stayed one night. $200 was over priced for the unit we stayed in. Less than 100 square feet, including the bathroom. I stayed there years ago and they havent changed a thing

The place we stayed for two nights- $400 is a rip off.The cottage we stayed at is falling apart. Floors are buckled and some spots are loose. The blinds falling apart, the deck isnt safe. A lot need to be updated.My soon to be husband, he has a lot of experience in construction, what he sees, was an awful job putting down the floors.I would like to get my $400 back. We expected to stay where we feel comfortable and things are updated. This place we stayed isnt.Our son does not like it either.Pictures on the website and in person, totally different. We were disgusted what we seen than we saw on that website.I will not rate this place 5 stars. I would rate this place one star.-anynmous

We adored Silver Sands! Super, super clean! Everything you need to live at the beach whether its for a couple days, weeks, month, absouletly perfect. Location cant be beat, no car needed but if you have 1 you have a desginated spot. The hospitality couldnt get better! They go out of their way to make sure everyone is comfortable. These folks are islanders that clearly have a positive influence to the area and the other guests are super friendly without being intrusive. We booked Silver Sands for the first few days of our trip until we could get into the beach house we rented for our extended stay and its not a stretch to say we were sorry to have to leave. Next trip down there we will be staying at Silver Sands the entire time.
