Stayed in an updated Deluxe Suite for a great rate, thank you. Was afraid of the noise from Tiki Bar but it stops before midnight so it was reasonable. I love that the beach, restaurants, mall are all within short walking distance. The staff at front desk extremely helpful. Overall a great 3 night stay.

Place from the outside looked great, the pool and bar downstairs was really good also, especially if you dont feel like going very far. But........the inside of the rooms were definitely not what we expected. Im not a picky guy at all, but this place is mostly for you to come as a group and get sloshed on the beach and at the bars, come sleep and leave again. Rooms are in need of a huge update. We were disappointed in that. But it wasnt bad per say. I wouldnt stay there again unless Im coming with a whole group. But if you want a somewhat romantic weekend....I wouldnt recommend for that. But aside from that yes.

Food at the tiki bar is much more reasonably priced than other places. And they are generous portions too! I mean, its bar food, but you wont go broke here. So glad we checked it out. Its outside, so both smoking and dog friendly. I have no need for either, but you might. Enjoy!

This is not a top of the line resort but comfortable. The beds were clean and linens fresh. The resort is small and easy to get around. My one complaint was people are allowed to smoke all over resort. They smoke by the pool and the one Tiki bar that serves food. If I dont come back here it will be because they dont limit the smoking.

The staff is nice. Pools are great. Rooms are pretty nice. It’s pricey Bc of the location. But it couldn’t be in a better spot. It’s right off the beach. Shops everywhere around. And they have a sister restaurant you get a discount for staying at the lighthouse. Overall good!

My husband & I took a trip to Ft. Myers in August. This is what the locals consider the quiet season. We booked the Lighthouse Suites, thinking it would be a fun place (since we didnt bring our kids) for our couples week. Upon arrival everything was great. Nice room (though a little smaller than the Suites photos depict), overlooking the waterfall pool. However, after we returned from lunch, we discovered a group of people with 2 dogs, and the dogs were swimming IN the pool (1 appeared to be a Rot mix). We hoped this was just a rare occurrence, and passed by to our room. That night, we were kept up until 3 am with a VERY loud group of people by the pool. I had read some reviews of the hotel staff doing nothing to complaints of pool noise, but I didnt imagine quiet season would have this problem. We woke up the next morning and decided we just wouldnt spend much time at the hotel, we would make the best of our trip. However, that afternoon a rain shower came in so we returned to our room to relax. Soon after we heard loud voices on OUR balcony. My husband opened our door to find a group of 6-8 people drinking and smoking (later my husband told me 1 man was smoking meth). My husband calmly asked them to leave. They reacted by saying, No big deal, Man. My husband said, Yes, it is a big deal, this is a private balcony. You need to leave. After going back and forth, they moved down to the pool deck. However, we overheard them making a threat toward us. This was all we could take. We went to the office and explained our situation (also that we felt threatened). They told us we could leave, but they would not be able to refund us that night (it was 5:00 pm). They seemed to be very lackadaisical about our complaints. We were disappointed, but all we wanted was to get off the hotel grounds. Luckily, after checking a few hotels/resorts, we ended up with a room directly on the beach for just a little more $ per night. After talking with some locals during the week, we discovered that this seems to be an issue at the Lighthouse, drawing a partying crowd. Needless to say, we will NEVER be returning.

The Lighthouse Inn was very close to Ft. Myers Time Square. As promised on the phone, were were placed into a very nice Junior Suite. Our room overlooked the pool with the waterfall. One actually never has to leave with their car staying at this resort. Everything is walking distance as mentioned, resort has an amazing tiki bar where amazing drinks are served. That side of the resort has another pool with several buildings surrounding that pool. This resort allows pets as well (review pet policy) .We will definitely return!

Excellent location, great hotel with a mini kitchen. Two pools and a cool vibe. Definitely makes you feel like youre in a Oasis. Very close to the beach

Cute little resort with 2 great pools and an even better bar. their chicken wings are crazy good, oh my. fun place, would definitely stay here again! the beds were good and so were the pillows. the door lock was fragile at best. overall I did feel safe and I had a great time. Tip: visit Lovers Key park and beach, its gorgeous and very close by this resort.

Atlantic Cod was excellent, bar tender didnt exactly know how to make a drink. Whiskey and coke was pretty much a large shot.

We stayed in the Family suite, it could definitely use some attention in the maintenance department. The AC was barely acceptable. The bedrooms stayed cool but the rest of the unit was uncomfortable. The outside temperature was not hot by Fl standards but if it were I’m sure this unit would be miserable.The porch overlooked the pool which was nice the only drawback was having to listen to the 305 groups boom box all day. (Very rude ) but that’s the east coast way.The tiki bar staff was terrific, food was good as well as the entertainment.Overall it was a good value for the money.

Great Location! Just ha half block from the beach and all the great restaurants. The room we stayed in was a bedroom suite and it was spacious and functional. There was 2 reasons we can’t give 5 stars is due to the Tiki Bar being closed ( not posted anywhere) also under construction and the small issue with cleaning. Pulled out the sofa couch and it was not too great. Had stains and chips from previous guest. Staff quickly fixed this issue and it was all good. Will be back for our next trip for sure!!!

I been staying in this hotel every time I go to FT Myers with my family, I never had a complain until this past weekend. I parked my car in the designated area inside the hotel (even next to check in office) we left to the beach and someone from the hotel or a guest broke into my vehicle and stole a $400 speaker and my daughters Ipad . When we come back to the car I reported the incident to the front desk and they acted like they didnt care, they told me to make a police report but the manager of the hotel never showed up to at least apologize for the incident or find out with the staff if someone saw something. It amazing that they dont have a decent security camera or no security personal on site. Its a shame that a nice hotel that is supposed to be in a safe area, people can just break in into your car and stealing your valuables . They should;d have some type of responsibility in taking care of their guests and make sure they feel safe inside the hotel facilities . Please beware !!

Positive: On a Sunday night they still had live music at their Tiki Bar. Location is great for nearby restaurants and public beach area. Negative: parking is tight for large pick-ups and SUVs, but manageable.

Positive: The location is perfect and the on site tiki bar with restaurant is very convenient. Negative: Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. The bed sheets had not been changed and the bed was disgustingly dirty. They blamed us though because we did not have proof that the sheets were not changed. Also hid behind new Covid procedures.

I had a nice stay. The room was clean, cold and spacious. The beds arent the most comfortable but not bad enough to stop me from staying there in the future. It does get a bit loud at night. Luckily, I brought my fan to drown out the sounds. The pools were clean and my children had more fun at the hotel then the beach ! We will be back in the near future.

Location is perfect. It is near all stores, restaurants, and beach. Had grills if you would like to grill out. The only thing we didnt like about it is that our room was located right above the bar area where they stay open til 2am and play loud music and such. But when you go to bed and shut door you cant hear it as loud.

,This is a very cool place, and I will return here for my medicine, aka sun️, every year. The hotel is moderately priced, especially if you book online, and has the perfect location right on times square. We were automatically upgraded to a suite for staying more than just a couple of days. There are 2 pools, and the crowd is usually family oriented at 1 and more younger 20s at the other. Everyone was in great spirits the whole time. Nice tiki bar right in the center with great food and drinks at nice prices. Our room was updated and fresh paint, and felt clean when we entered. Staff was very polite and courteous, and answered all our questions.

The rooms are nice and you dont have to go anywhere for a good time. Live music and djs at the pool area. Dont want to stay anywhere else.

Price was reasonable, room was clean. The only reason that this trip was not excellent is because of the kids me and my husband came here for 2 nights we are middle aged and both have children and but we came by ourselves the pool was over run with kids for 2 days I thought I was actually at Disney world for a minute we were not able to get into the pools because of Marco Polo going on for hours and hours and night we could not sleep I would have thought the management would come out and tell them to go to sleep or leave the pool disappointment in that otherwise it would be great management needs to supervise the area and not have kids jumping screaming and overrun with kids andno adults could get into the pool

Great place to head to have fun at the Tiki bar, it is a must stop and hang out place in town. Bartenders are awesome, fast there is a wait but usually because it’s busy.

Actually a very nice place very close to the beach - maybe 5 minute walk. Extremely affordable, nice rooms. Our fridge didnt work and sink was plugged but hopefully that got fixed. Warning, it is loud on a Friday and Saturday night, the place has a bar and its loud with people and live music. It was tolerable and weekdays are quiet. Well be back.

This hotel was an absolute dream. We came over 4th of July weekend for a spur of the moment trip. Although there were a ton of covid restrictions, this was one the the best hotels in Fort Myers weve ever stayed in. Right by the beach, 2 pools, bar, and music. Absolute paradise. The bar staff was AMAZING, the security staff was great too. We had not one issue during our stay and I can not wait to go back here when covid is done so we can fully enjoy this hotel. What an amazing time.

Great location that is why it gets 1 star. Our room smellef smoky and when we used our microwave it smelled like something was burning. Which they did nothing about. It concerned me because i had kids with me and it didnt seem like it mattered

We like our ground floor room that walked out to the pool and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go to.

Negative: The room smelled strongly of smoke. The tiki bar is really loud, not a place for children.

It’s worst place! Until 3 am a lot screaming people outside, everybody drinking all night! No security no rules! Never stay here, don’t spend you money! You can’t sleep here, AC so loud and drunk people screaming outside ! Hard to find parking.Room is dirty, all bedding is stained, other peoples hair everywhere! Nobody wears masks and no distance!

This place was great for a mini staycation! We wanted to get away but not go too far...well look no further. The staff was accommodating and the rooms were nice. The efficiency was really usefulOh and the pool is great place for a night swim. Would definitely recommend this for locals as well as people looking to vacation in our beautiful city!

The property is unique in itself! The rooms all have tables and chairs outside, my room was in a corner so we had plenty of room to have coffee in the morn and a drink in the evening. The tiki bar is open all day for food and drink, I believe there is a band every night, which we enjoyed. If you are looking for a quiet place at night this might not be the place for you!! I assume there might be rooms that are shielded from the music and noise, but not sure. The motel is right across from beach and all the restaurants, room was clean and had an efficiency kitchen..will be back again

Great rooms, but very busy. We did not get checked in till 3:30PM. The tiki bar downstairs in hotel is the busiest business in the area. We ended up walking to time square and few other areas and all the businesses were a lot slower. Make sure to get here early and find parking in their lot. They have a lot of patrons that take up spots.Room is large and cozy. They have two really nice pools but they are typically packed. Large balconies make this is a great value.If you do not like huge crowds or bar noise downstairs; this is not the place for you. Shipwreck motel was very slow and they dont have the bar business that takes up their parking.

I’ve liked staying here but it seems every time I call I’m an inconvenience by calling them. I called to get some prices on the family suite which is not located online, and when the woman picked up she said I should look up everything online because it’s easier that way. I had other questions about which rooms were close to each other because I needed to book two rooms close. I called at 5:20, they close at 6, and the woman said she couldn’t help me because the computers were already shut down.. maybe you shouldn’t shut down the computers 40 minutes early. She told me to call back in the morning but now I think I’ll look into other resorts. As a client who has been to this resort multiple times, I am very dissatisfied by the way I was treated today and previous phone calls.

Menues in the room cleary state that the bar and kitchen are open til 2am. Lies. Kitchen closes at 10pm and anything decent closes at 11. Woke up the following day to ask a cleary angered bartender about what time breakfast started. Without even making eye contact or pretending she was happy replied that there was only a buffet that was going to be served that morning. We were checking out anyway so we packed up and went for breakfast elsewhere. Its a shame the hotel is in a beautiful location the room was decent but the place needs some help on the exterior. I would probably stay again just plan to eat elsewhere or bring food since there was basically a full kitchen that was not mentioned to us while booking.

This is the spot to stay on Fort Meyers beach. If your like me and party hard. Tiki Bar downstairs (my room was right over it and didnt hear the music or noise) rocks at night. Its right across from Times square (party district). Two blocks from beach, 1 block from liquor store. Enough said.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME HERE. THE PLACE IS CERTAINLY NOT FANCY, BUT THE ROOMS WERE FAIRLY CLEAN AND THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE. THE LOCATION IS PERFECT IF YOU WANT TO BE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ACTION.

The tiki bar has fun drinks and yummy food for breakfast. The rooms are spacious and were very clean. The staff are friendly and very helpful when we had questions. I would reccomend getting a kitchenette it was nice to be able to make some of our own food and be able to have a good size fridge.I like that the balconies over look the bar and one of the pools so you can see all the action going on downstairs.

We were out for a walk and could smell the aroma of bacon cooking, so we stopped in for breakfast. We both had eggs, meat, toast, and OJ. Both very good and fairly priced for the portioned served.Service was good and we were even asked by other staff members if everything was good and how was the service. It was a Beautiful atmosphere sitting alongside the pool and Tiki Bar setting.

First the good. The location to the beach and restaurants is great. The room was clean but tired. If you are not a partier dont stay here. Loud music and talking to late in the night. If you want to party and walk to your room its perfect.

We have visited the Lighthouse twice each summer for 5 years now. The rooms are clean and the suites are roomy. The staff is fantastic. The office staff is very helpful, pleasant and will accommodate you as much as they can. The bar staff are great people, get you served quickly and with a smile. The food is great and a great price. We love that we are in walking distance to the beach and times square, restaurants and shopping. We have never been disappointed.
