My family and I love coming to the creek! Such a fun experience to spend time with family doing! My kids and I always have the best time, especially on the sunny days like today!

It was beautiful and positively amazing bug spray is a need but its so fun good for all ages and a great place to naturally swim and climb small hill in the forest and good for horse back riding and walking animals.

Its a good place to take hikes and walk in the stream. It would be nice if they could clean the graffiti off of the rocks.

Great place to hike, mountain bike, or take your horse. We love to hike to the creek and let our kids play for hours at a time.

Mountain bike trails are worth riding if you are passing through the area. Be sure to take a map.

Place is great. Been to a few trails in the Peoria/Morton/Pekin area and this is a top 3 for sure. There are a lot of scenic areas, its a huge park offering room for horses, mountain bikes and hikers. Scenic spots include creeks, open fields, bridges and overlooks. You could go here and just enjoy a lunch at one of the benches just within the entrance. Check it out!

Farmdale is an amazing outdoor recreation area. I use it for mountain biking. Best trails in central Illinois. Its also great for hiking, trail running, dog walking, and exploring with kids. Horse riding us also allowed. Would highly recommend visiting farmdale if you are looking to get outdoors. No camping allowed unless its for special events.

Nice place to go biking or hiking! They have a good assortment of trails that range from easy to difficult. They also have a pump track thats fun to warm up on.

Love this park! All level of trails and wonderful water throughout park! We spent four hours hiking and still only covered part of the park.

Well marked trail heads. Very easy to navigate. No public toilet facilities anywhere on site. This park can be very busy.

Fantastic, well maintained riding trails. Some of the best trails in the state. We arent local to Peoria but make several trips each year to enjoy the trails. Thanks to the clubs who keep this park in tip top shape.!

This is a great place for biking, and hiking. The trails are long and you can get a good workout doing a loop. The kids like running around as it’s a little more open towards the parking lot/playground equipment area

Used to be a great place to mushroom hunt. Now they have closed the good entrance to the park and you have to walk through sometimes waist high creek water to get to the good spots.I guess if you have horses its a good place to ride them, or bikes, cause there are plenty of trails there that are well kept. Really if they just opened the other entrance up I would give them 5 stars because I used to love this place when it was open.

Big rugged hiking biking area

It was a great place to ride bikes and hike. Trails were really nice and well maintained. The only downside was there wasnt a lot of markings so easy to get confused.

The reservoir is a beautiful place to go for a stroll or ride, especially during sunset. Highly recommend.

I have used this park for over 20 years but the dogs running free with out leashes has made it impossible to go and enjoy your self. 3 separate occasions of aggressive dogs has made me rethink going here anymore. I have seen dogs chasing deer and the other wildlife, people on bikes and even a horse and dog encounter that did not end well for the rider. Until they start requiring a leash on your dog, this will continue until someone is hurt.

Fun, easy riding trails.

Some of the best hiking, biking, and running trails in the area. Well maintained and kept trails with active community members. Trails are closed during and 24 hours after rain. Always a pleasant place to go and enjoy nature.

Plenty of well maintained and marked trails for walking, biking and horses. Variety of wooded and prairie landscapes to see. No trash. Park and go for a walk!

Very well managed multi-use land tract with dedicated volunteers who build and carefully maintain diverse trail systems. Currently managed by Army Corp of Engineers and maintenance assistance by PAMBA.

Good MTB riding but be careful if its rained recently. The reservoir is only a reservoir to handle heavy rain and flooding. Its can turn into an unbelievable Mudfest.

This place is beautiful. It is easy to go off-trail if you choose but the trails are also easy to follow.
