This is an amazing dog beach. The facilities are great for a day of fun with your pup. I appreciated the fact that there are several gates to get through to get to and from the beach....in case your dog is a runner.The dog owners were all responsible and spaced apart. The water was calm enough for the dogs to swim and play ball. My dog slept the whole way home. Check it out. Parking was free as well.

Nice dog beach. We were lucky to be there with a lot of responsible dog owners (its hit or miss any place). You have a little walk in the park to get to the beach so pack light. Our boy LOVED it. The sand is nice and water was pretty calm with LOTS of jellyfish we cant wait to go back and run around with all the other pups!

This was our first time here. It was very nice and clean. The beach was the perfect place to let our girls play. We will definitely be back!

Our favorite place to spend the day with the dog. Each time weve gone weve found plenty of friends for our pup but it wasnt too busy to park or find a spot.The visitors seem to be pretty conscientious. The poo bins are kind of far apart but Ive never seen a mess left on the beach. Weve seen a few people that let their dogs play too rough but never any aggressive dogs.

Beautiful walk to the beach. No one seems to mind the dogs running. They lose a star in my book only because of some of the people their don’t keep their eyes on dogs that are aggressive. So really it is some people who lose a star.

With the limited places you can take your dogs to PawPark is a good place to visit. Right on the Gulf with non pet beaches there as well. Sharkys on the Pier close by. Beautiful sunsets!

A great place for the furr babies to cool off and relax. For the most part, people look after their dogs. Everyone who we talked to was very friendly. Parking is good and is very easy to get to.

Great thought was made for the benefit of the patrons and their pets! I was very impressed with gates, the watering stations for the dogs and the water was perfect. The sand can get a bit hot, so run fast, have them wear paw pads, or carry your pets

Best dog beach Ive ever been to! Im not sure if it was just the time we came (love bug season), but there were no mosquitos! All the dogs were running around and having a good time. Lots of beautiful seashells in the water so bring some goggles if thats your thing. Dogs (and people) of all shapes and sizes will love this beach!

The sand gets hot! So come early or late or plan to carry your dog when you leave. Obviously be careful of heat exhaustion and drinking the ocean water. But this beach is lovely, worth the drive!

Our dog loves this beach park. We do have to keep her on a leash because there is not fence to keep them in the area. Sometimes it can be crazy with the crowds of people and dogs. Still it is very nice to have a place to go where our dogs and run in the water.

I absolutely love that beach. It is the only dog beach, to my knowledge, where dogs can roam without having to be on a leash. My dog really enjoys that. When it gets too hot at the beach, we can retreat to the nice shaded dog park.

Best dog beach around, plenty of space for you and your pooch to walk down the beach. There is also a fenced in area with a separate small dog zone. There is a public bathroom and outdoor showers to rinse off. There are plenty of dog poop bag dispensers and garbage cans.

Great place for dogs to run around

Great place to get your dog off the leash and play in the waves or chase a ball. Everyone is super friendly. All size dogs are mixed together on the beach. Keep your dog on the leash from the car down the walkway until you get to the beach. There are poop bags and trash cans available. Fresh drinking water is provided for your dog back in the dog park and there are benches for taking a moments rest. They even have a fresh water rinse on the way out to get your dog clean from the salt and sand before getting back in the car. Highly recommended. Best dog beach I ever visited.

This is a type of place thats dying in Florida. One od the few dog beaches in the state. Leash free beach for your dog to runans play and if they want swim as well. Never had any issues just dont ruin it for others PLEASE PICK UP AFTER AND MONITOR YOUR DOG

This is a nice place to take your dog, they love running the beach and pup parents can enjoy the water too. I would have given it five stars if people would watch their dogs, they should pay more attention to their babies.

Beaches, like dogs, come in many different shapes and sizes. Whereas you cant really say what the perfect dog is, I can firmly say this is the perfect dog beach. Parking is pretty easy, as well as the signs leading you THROUGH a dog park to the beach. Once youve gotten on the path, fresh and and beautiful waters await. My wife and I took our 2.5 year old Aussie mix here last weekend, and I have to say it was a blast.The dogs here are off leash, for the most part, and very playful. This is a wonderful place to go for some good off leash training, splashtime water fun with your water loving pupper or just a relaxing beach day with your doggo. I recommend this especially for socializing your doggo around other doggos once they are comfortable. The beach is big enough for many dogs and lots of butts to smell.

The nicest dog beach Ive ever taken my dogs to. Be careful with the larger dogs as this park is an off leash park. Great water, nice and clear. Plenty of room for the dogs to run around.

Visiting Venice beach w/ your pooch was never as enjoyable as it is now. This beach is quite tidy and ideally designed w/ your fur people in mind. With double gates and poop stations. Green areas for walking. Clear water and smooth shoreline. Be certain to take an umbrella, as there are no shaded spots anywhere on the sand. It was impressive to see all breeds come together and play nicely. Luckily on our visit, we didnt have aggressive pooches visiting that day. A great time was had by all humans and furs alike.

Enter the dog park and walk along the sidewalk past the stinky pond to the beach. You have entered the leash free zone. Let you pup run wild, sniffing, greeting other dogs and just enjoying the freedom. I love taking my little buddy to parks like this.

Went here on Sunday absolutely packed but still nice... too rough for the dog and most humans I was the only one swimming!!! Then went today place was empty not so rough so Coco and me had a nice swim. The beach is clean and the changing rooms also clean wish we could move to Venice Florida.Another 3 months and here we are again GREAT TIME was had again, AND AND A MANATEE was playing in the surf, damn thing surfaced about 3 feet behind me.... I thought it was a Shark. Tried to take a photo but I had an ipod in a ziplock bag utter rubbish.

Great fun for the dogs and family. Awesome shells and sand dollars too, so bring your mask and snorkle.

We go every morning. Live it. Inky down side is the people that smoke cigarettes (and leave their buts for others to pick up)

Thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the park and so glad our dog was able to socialize with others. She loves people and others animals. Such a clean environment and the rules are placed in plain sight so we know how the park is run. We will continue to go back.

Owesome dog beach...if and only if the humans stop micro managing their dogs and simply let dogs be dogs. It seems like a lot of people that have small dogs have a serious issues with letting them socialize with other dogs without freaking out. As well be prepared for snowbirds that think they own the beach and really lacked the common sense and clarification to allow all dogs to socialize. Small dog owners need to understand that there is an option if they are concerned about their dogs safety on the beach and to keep them in the fenced in areas...and visitors, PLEASE leave your Northern attitude at entrance gate! Locals love it when you do! Other than that this is a five-star hands-down dog beach.

Only beach around that I can see that you could let your dog run without a leash on. The only rule is that your dog has to be well-behaved to not be on a leash. Our dog barely made the cut lol.

Its a dog park with beach access of course its awesome! Not a huge area but enough room for the pups to run. The dogs have access to swim or just run.

Looked like a beautiful spot, unfortunately our dog was aggressively humped by another dog resulting in multiple open wounds that required stitches. None of the dogs were on leashes including our own unfortunately, so make sure you keep your dog on a leash or go somewhere very secluded.

Nice place for dogs but not kids. Its a small place for the number of people here so dont think youll be tanning on your beach towel without getting trampled. I also dont understand the people that come here without dogs or with little dogs and get over protective, theres no fence or segregation here.
