Beautiful place to watch the manatees play in the Gulf! Great place to watch waves crash on the rocks. Also, a great place to watch a storm roll in with beautiful lightning. (from inside the safety of your car, of course.)

One of the 2 jettys, the South jetty is a nice place to go if you like to sit and watch the boats heading towards or returning from the gulf or go for the sunsets in the evening. There are plenty of picnic tables and benches to sit on. There is an ice cream stand where you can get snacks.

Beautiful beach. easy access and AMAZING water. ill CERTAINLY be e foiling this gem more often.

Theres a man that has the little snack shop there and he is the most friendliest colitis person its amazing how how friendly people are around here and he just made my day

Love fishing from here. Currently the jetty itsslf is cllsed until at the very least December 7th. (Dont hop the barricade like i did or the Venice Police will come and make you leave :-(

The SJB has been one of our favorite places to go. Its a relaxing atmosphere.

The jetty gives you a view of the ocean and an inlet waterway where you can fish, watch dolphins and just relax with the ocean breeze. Many people come at night to see the sunset. It is gorgeous. The only drawback is parking. Parking is limited but worth your time.

Enjoyed watching an aggregation of manatees. Clean beach with a life guard. Great fishing and beautiful views.

Always a great place for a quick walk down the Jetty or sit and relax watching the waves crash against the rocks.

One of the best places in Venice to see the sunset. Sometimes youll see Dolphins. Parking isnt great, not a lot of spots or room to turn around.

Nice place to explore and look at wildlife. The water is beautiful and you can watch the boats come in right next to the pier. If the tide isnt too strong you might see manatees and dolphins swimming by. Theres a lot of cool birds that dont mind you walking up to them to take close pictures.

This is a beautiful area. Nice place to sit on numerous bences and relax. Fish, people watch, watch the boats come in and out of the intercoastal. There is free paking and a small snack bar.

The South jetty is a nice place to sit and take in the beautiful views. Great spot for pictures. Sometimes the water is very calm, but when there are storms out in the ocean there can be big waves. Its fun to see the difference. There are picnic tables and benches spread out which makes picnics easy. There are bathrooms which is nice especially if youre hanging out for awhile. There is a food stand there as well. Its a new owner which is sad. Previously it was Anitas which had been there for around 20 yrs. They were pushed out for higher rent. I havent eaten at the new place, but Ive stopped by there. They have a good amount of options and there were several people there enjoying food. Ill update when I eat there.

Nice place to enjoy the Gulf of Mexico. Parking is free and open till 12am.

Great place to watch the boats, dolphins, and do a little fishing. Lots of seating and some under the pine trees. Can get a drink and a hamburger at the little snack shack. Nice spot to spend a few hours or all day.

Nice place to visit! We were able to watch many dolphin that swam up close to our boat, and we relaxed for a while on the nearby Snake Island where you can beach your boat and swim at the small beach. Snake island is also a nice place to find some cool shells.

Jetty Jacks on South Jetty Beach. Get great hot dogs/burgers as you watch boats enter and leave the inland water way.. . . or walk the jetty for the view or for fishing. Very relaxing. Reasonably priced. Although many buy the hot dogs, I find the burgers to be exceptional.

Good place to stop by for a view or a quick walk on the beach. Less touristy than the main beach parking lot which is a nice bonus. Also stop by the hot dog stand for a bite / ice cream. Tasty food and reasonably price.

This is my favorite spot to park and watch the sunset over the beach in Venice. You dont even have to leave your car to enjoy it.

Nothing much to say other than I love visiting the Jetty. So pretty and calming, especially right after the sunset. Also a great place to watch the sunset, but normally pretty crowded. Popular fishing spot aswell!

Great place for a stroll out along the the jetty with the torquise water of Gulf and channel either side; views of boats, wildlife.

Disappointing. Too rocky for my taste. Its listed as a place for good surfing on this coast, but it looked to dangerous for even that. Venice near Sharkeys is just so much better

Awesome place to relax. We are now proud residents of Venice Florida. No matter what time of day or night, it is an amazingly beautiful place to just relax and enjoy the Gulf. Dolphins and Manatees make the occasional appearance. Today we saw an osprey snatch a fish with its talons right out of the water! Absolutely love it. Tip : avoid the crowds by arriving either really early or really late :)

We went to Jetty Jacks after our Santa motorcycle ride and we were treated to delicious ice cream samples by the very friendly owner. Great little place!

This has been my favorite place to go to for many years. The beach is right there, people go fishing on the jetty, there are cool boats and jet skis going in and out of intercoastal, sometimes surfers are seen at the beach too. Its just a beautiful place to go. I have seen dolphins every time I have been there (Im a local). And all kinds of birds sit on the rocks waiting to catch some fish or get fed by the fishermen. The sunsets are always stunning! Definitely the place to stop if visiting Venice Florida!
