Its a clean area with lots of room to run . Fun playground equipment but not a lot of shade.

Good size park in quiet neighborhood. Updated playground area with shade cover. Separate area has 4-5 picnic benches under trees with small b-b-ques.

Clean and friendly! It has great shade, a water fountain for people and for dogs, and a play area for bigger kids and a separate play area for little kids which is super convenient.

Its an okay park.Pros-It has a nice open grassy area for running around and playing soccer.-The park area was clean and free of litter.-The playground has 2 roofed sections tot play in- filled with swing sets, tube and open aired slides, seesaws, and monkey bars.Cons-It was hard to find the parking area to get closest access to the playground. The first time around, I did street parking that faced the grassy field, and it appeared that I had to traverse the field to reach the playgrounds at the other end.

I know this sounds silly but they have really nice poop bags for dogs. Their park seems to be taken really nice care !

Great playground lots to do for the little ones.

Optimist park is a double-waterbasin park designed for water conservation. Together they are about a city block in size. Most of the trees are very young there. There are 11 barbecue areas there, 6 in one basin & 5 in the other, older basin that has a few older trees. There is a wide burm separating the two basins. There was a play area for the kids on the newer side. No other amenities were available. It is used a lot for quite a few dogs being walked, and some had dogs off leash to chase a ball. All but one of the dogs were quite large, many were Pitbulls, pit-mixes and German Shepherds so I could not relax while walking as I felt I need to be ever vigilant, nor could my dog make friends there0. None but one of the people there were open for contact. Most walked in clearly familiar groups of 6. This is not a place Id return to use again. Im grateful & relieved the walk went without incident.

Nice big park, well kept. Safe neighborhood. Wish they had exercise bars for people who want to do pull ups, dips, body weight exercises, etc

This is a great park. Its well manicured and always nice. Theres grills, tables, great play area for the kids. ADA accessible. Its also getting new trees.

This is a great park, well cared for it has a nice playground for kids. there are several regular morning dog walkers and 2 large grassy areas. the city provides bags to care for dog waste and has a water area for animals as well.

LGreat park, lots of grass, a few picnic tables, a large playground with a spot for smaller kids and larger kids. Sand and swings and shade!

Not many parks with covered play grounds in the area that if found, so thats nice. The park was clean and the other parents and kids there where courteous and polite. Added bonus of no one sleeping at this park.
