What an absolute wonderful tour. From the time you walk through the door they make you feel at home. Cat the bartender was extremely friendly and very welcoming. Jeff gave us our tour and he was amazing. He shared so much interesting information weve never heard. Just such an informative tour. The taste testing was awesome. I would 100% recommend touring this amazing local distillery. I love that I learned about Angels share....what a super cool story.

The husband found an article about Adventurous Stills, so we decided to do a tour with some friends. Its not a large distillery, which adds to its uniqueness. The tour takes about an hour there are samples and you get an up close and personal view of the stills working. Pretty co experience. They have a bar and the drinks were amazing. We tried several drinks and the amazing bartender was great about creating some on the spot too. The margarita she made was a perfect balance and by far THE best one Ive ever had. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

This place is truly great and one of a kind! Their bartender made one of the best old fashions Ive ever had using with own home brewed and award winning bourbon. I would highly recommend visiting and taking a tour of their process! Ill definitely be back and look for their product on the shelves.

One of my favorite finds since moving to Arizona is Adventurous Stills .Not only do they make some of the best whiskey and spirits, what sets them apart is everything is handmade in house from grain to bottle. The staff is always friendly and happy to let you have a sample and answer any questions that you have. Ended up a bottle of Rye Whiskey and a bottle of Barrel Aged Gin. We also managed to get a bottle of hard to find hand sanitizer. I would consider the visit an all around win.

Jeff the owner gave us a wonderful tour. Would have liked to have tried more of their offerings. Would recommend as a change from a winery tour.

Amazing experience from entry to exit. The owner, Jeff, greeted us immediately upon arrival and got us situated at the bar to grab a cocktail prior to the distillery tour getting started. I had a Mule and my partner had a Manhattan. Both were stellar. Almost as stellar as the tour the drinks preceded. Jeff led us on a journey from grain to glass and shared an immense amount of information covering things like engineering, drinking, and science! The entire endeavor was awesome and I look forward to returning in the near future to grab another bottle and telling my local pals to check the place out. Thanks again for an awesome experience!

This place is great! Located in Tempe but not on Mill Avenue. We had the best tour from Chase and got to sample each of their products. My husband and I learned so much about the process and the products. The bartender working was great and made me a delightful La La Lemonade which contains their Picket Post Vodka. The drink is made with a syrup that actually changes from blue to purple right before your eyes! I highly recommend it. This was a great date night for my husband and I. 10/10 would highly recommend giving them a visit and your business!

Very impressive establishment, envisioned by 3 friends. Majority of equipment is hand made by the the owners, tried and tested. Great tasting spirits were the result of great collaboration .Im not big into hard alcohol, but I could definitely appreciate the taste and smoothness of Adventurous Stills spirits.If you have the time, definitely take a tour of the distillery, guided by one of the owners.

Great local distillery! Bartender was super friendly and poured a nice drink. We took the tour and learned a lot about how they distill alcohol. I would recommend this place has some great spirits to pick from with some unique flavors.

Expected a normal quick distillery tour but my expectations were blown out of the water. The science and the hardwork that goes into their top notch liquors had me in awe. Only tried one of their cocktails and I will absolutely be returning to try some more and bring friends!

We had a great time at the chocolate and spirits tasting! The atmosphere is light and welcoming. We had never been there before and everyone made us feel welcome. All of the spirits we tasted were solid. There were types that I didnt like, but I could tell that they were well made. We were impressed that everything is made by this particular distillery. Stop by and give this place a try!

Second time at this distillery, and love it more and more. My usual hard liquors I don’t usually drink but locally made just tastes so much better!

Great distillery in Tempe, AZ! We got a personal tour from one of the partners, Jeff. That guy knows his stuff, we talked for an hour about the distilling process and running the business. You can tell they are passionate about what they do, and it shows in the product.We enjoyed the 4 cocktails we ordered, as well as the tour and included tasting. Everyone should check this place out!

This place was great! They were great at giving a whole experience, telling us the whole process for making each spirit, what made each of theirs unique, and different ways to use them for drinking and making cocktails. Everyone was so friendly too!

If you’re a fan of craft spirits and/or supporting local businesses,I highly recommend checking this place out. My fiancé and I came down on a Saturday afternoon to take a tour.Chase was the tour guide for the tour and was very informative, friendly and energetic.You can tell that the people that run the company do it for the love of the craft and it shows in their product. Of all the tastings we had, My fiancé and I loved the gin that was smooth had a good balance of botanicals(I’m not a fan of gin with a strong citrus taste). Definitely a good place to take out of town visitors or go with a group of friends for the afternoon.We certainly plan on coming back with friends and picking up a few bottles now that we found our new go to brand for spirits.

This place is fantastic! If its your first time, I would definitely suggest doing the tour and cocktail or tour and tasting special. Overall it took about 30 minutes, but I actually learned so much! These people are passionate about what they do and know what theyre talking about and truly want to share their passion. It was actually much more interesting than I had anticipated. Getting to see the entire process was fun and getting to try to end product was great! The cocktails have very interesting flavors, but they have mixers if you just wanted a gin and tonic or vodka sprite with their made in house spirits. We bought 2 bottles to go as gifts and tried a few of the cocktails on the menu. Chris made some fantastic craft cocktails with freshly sliced ginger and orange peel. 10/10 would return and brings some friends. Oh, theres also a few small games you can play while sitting on the comfy couches.

Had a great time at Adventurous Stills. The owners were friendly and very knowledgeable about their products and the process. I dont normally like whiskey or bourbon but their bourbon went down smooth and I really enjoyed the Blue Corn whiskey. I will be back next time Im on that side of town and am wanting a drink

A really chill place to relax and get some drinks. They have a large distillery in the back along with a couple areas for talking and hanging out.The whiskey was quite exceptional. Very friendly staff too.

Found them through Groupon and they took my expired groupon even! Chris the bartender was very nice and makes great drinks and is willing to tweak it a bit to fit your fancy. Very enjoyable evening. Will spread word and visit again soon!

What a cool experience! I surprised my husband who is a whiskey man. Thought it would be cool to try something different than your typical movie after dinner. We arrived just before they closed (hours were posted wrong on what I looked at) but Kelly was accommodating and very kind to let us do the taste test and tour. Very interesting and went away with a better appreciation for what goes into this craft. I would recommend going as it is a unique experience and very nice to learn about a local business.

Indulging in the flavors and exploring a focused and friendly distillery with my wife has sure been a treat! I have been a scotch drinker for many years and have also tried American versions of whiskey from Jack Daniels Tennessee whiskey, to Jim Beam to Bulleit and so on. During this time I have refined my palate to a fine edged sampling device. This is the first and only time I felt completely comfortable, educated not only about distilling in general but specifically regarding bourbon whiskey and what special requirements make a bourbon a bourbon and not simply another type of whiskey. I am grateful that artisans of the highest caliber call their home and establishment near mine here in Tempe Arizona. Their Bourbon is like a swing around the dance floor with a frisky young thing wrapping up and confusing my senses, spinning off flavors of vanilla, oak wood, coffee, molasses and a very scant light note of citrus. All in all I am turned on to a time honored American favorite! I hope to one day see what longer (3-12 plus year) aging would bring out in this wonderful spirit :) I greatly and deeply thank the distillers, bartender and adventurous spirits who made this dream a reality for me and all of Arizona! Come check it out, you will not be disappointed!

Outstanding distillery making everything from scratch. Plan on spending at least an hour and take the tour with a tasting. The staff is extremely accommodating and never seem to tire of answering questions. Their rums are a standout, as are the bourbons.

La la the bar tender is amazing, and the spirits are great. The tasting room is very relaxed, the owners are usually around to give tours and answer questions.

This is my favorite Friday stop after work. The guys who run the place are incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about what they do. They are happy to answer any questions and mix up drinks that are quite delightful. Although they do not serve any food at this time (other than goldfish crackers), you are welcome to bring in your own. The place is small, but cozy. Beyond their own distilled liquors, they also have other Arizona distilled liquors. Im pretty excited for these guys and cant wait to watch the business grow!

We had a couple of excellent old fashioned cocktails and then did the tour followed by a tasting of their rum, gin, vodka, smoked whiskey, bourbon, and mesquite whiskey. We really enjoyed our time at the distillery and learned a ton. Check this place out (the bourbon is delicious) and support this awesome local AZ company.

The tour was very interesting with the owners ad your guide. The guides are knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions you may have. The tasting room is welcoming and the handful of drinks you can order are delicious. Definitely an enjoyable experience.
