Everyone in Spfld knows Washington Park is wonderful! I only knocked off a star because the Park District should maintain it better... ie roads, benches, sticks & debris in the spillway, (reduce duck population(?))... Had a nice walk w/ great company!

We took the kids to hear the free carillon concert at 1pm. Its a very nice park with plenty of benches and gardens to wander through while listening to the bells. There is also a video screen at the base of the bell tower so you can see the carillon player during the concert. Tours of the tower are available for a small charge when the bells arent being played. This was a fun little break from all the historical attractions in town.

We were lucky enough to be in Washington Park when the Carillon was open for tours. The tour guide was very gracious and patient with our children, in addition to being very knowledgeable. The tour is succinct, delivering interesting information in an appropriate length of time. We would highly recommend it for anyone seeking to know a bit more.

Unfortunately we couldnt go into the memorial, but it was surrounded by a very pretty park.

The music played is awesome. I feel like listening to it everytime it is been played. Walking around the park and music played along with it makes me feel like Im a princess. Love going to Washington Park and especially enjoy the music.

A beautiful memorial in the Washington park area near the botanical gardens. The music with the bells is amazing and plays quite often. A good place to bring the kids and pets for a walk, and sunset is especially clamoring if youre looking for a good date around town. The fountain is dormant now but should be running soon (currently it is may)

This is a very beautiful sounding carillon. The views from the top very good as well.

Attended the art fair here. Upscale exhibits in a nice setting.

The Carillon is beautiful! The Carilloneur is our organist and bell choir director at St. Johns Lutheran Church. The biggest bell is 14,000 lbs! The smallest is 22 lbs! Still way bigger than what we play at church. I love going up there. Thanks Carlo!

Beautiful, and even though it looks small, its the Largest (most bells) in the world. Listen to the sound of bells in a garden paradise.

The music from our carillon can be heard around the surrounding neighborhoods; its been so nice making memories with it.The carillon festival is coming up, and I cant wait!Its always nice when fireworks are set off to the music.

The only carillon that I know of that gives you a tour of the bell tower, worth the time then stay for the concert.

Part of the Washington park area, these beautiful Festival bells are wonderful to listen to.When the bells are not ringing this section of the park is full of young and old people enjoying the gardens and playing Pokemon Go.A joy for all ages.

This memorial sent my wife and I for a loop, we were walking the park and noticed it over the trees. Filled with intrigue we went over to check it out. Very cool building in the park

The festival is a nice way to spend an evening and its interesting to hear this played for the public. I enjoyed my visit and Id go back again.
