I walk this path pretty much daily, and the park itself is a nice place to have lunch, or read a book. Its surprisingly clean, and a peaceful.

Great place for easy walk along the river. Beautiful scenery and paved walkway. Be sure to bring camera and binoculars! No parking or entry fees. If you go, please dont litter!

Relaxing, benches and tables, sit by the water, spread blankets on grass, kids play area, 2 acres or more, I havent ever seen it too crowded. 1.5 miles North which you can walk to on the riverwalk (or drive to and park) is a boat launch and gathering area with bench/tables.

Good view of the Connecticut River. Could be better maintained and watch your surroundings for sketchy people.

This place has so much potential to become a fun place to be! I can visualize food vendor trucks, local bands, etc even borrowing from Providence RI water fire shows. However what I saw was drugs, drinking, and unsavory looking characters lurking around.(This was evening into nighttime hours.)although there was a police presence there was not enough activity to keep the nonsense away. I think to make this spot live up to its potential the city must put the fire water shows on, hire the bands, allow the food and beer trucks and then invite the public with massive advertising. Residents of Western Mass would support it! It’s more convenient than driving to Boston, Providence and Hartford. The undesirable elements will then vacate. Of note it would really be nice to have more dwelling places become available in the city, it will eliminate most of the problems of this beautiful spot. And bring in the visitors and revenue the city is seeking.

Its a nice Riverfront Park. I hope the City of Springfield will keep up with the maintenance. Its starting to show that its been forgotten. I hope the residents dont allow that. You guys deserve a nice Riverfront Park..

Wonderful trail, just needs some general upkeep.

Nice of the city to provide a pathway. A lot of garbage and multiple homeless people off to the side of trail. If your on a bike, you’ll be done in about 10 minutes. Not very long.

I like it but dont see 3.5 million dollar worth of river front recreation.. I see the same thing in a neighborhood park and dont see that costing 3.5 million and has a basketball court baseball Court sprinkler park

Great place to walk and do cycling

Was closed when we went which made it all the more peacefull. Parking was confusing.

Theres bathrooms but they are locked all the time so cant enjoy it or spend too much time there for that reason.....
