If you have a car lover in your group (my husband is a fanatic), then you have to visit the Route 66 Car Museum. They have super rare classics like the 1907 REO Runabout (which still runs!) up to the latest and greatest of super slick sports cars. My kids really loved seeing all the changes that have been made over the decades to vehicles.

Such a great road trip stop. A lot of unique history behind each vehicle makes it unique from other car museums. The very knowledgeable and friendly man working there was also a treat with lots of extra information.

Loved it! Huge collection of wonderful cars from the twenties on up. Gas pumps, pedal cars, located on historic W.College. a must see. The two gentleman running it were really nice and helpful

This place is wonderful. For a small building they have many cars. What a great place to see cars you have never seen before. It is a must see.

Not a large museum but holy classic cars Batman, there are a lot of unique ones I typically dont see. Not your typical place that has 15 pristine chevelles, many of the cars show that they have been used which I frankly enjoy. Very unique place for car lovers, I would wholeheartedly check it out. Just word of warning it does get a bit toasty in there.

On a rainy morning on a stop on a Route 66 road trip, I got the warmest of welcomes from a real fellow enthusiast. A collection that reflects the owners tastes with some truly rare exotics, along with more common fare as well as movie cars. Theres The Grapes of Wrath car, a Batmobile, the Ghostbusters estate ana more; its a great cornucopia of motoring from both sides is the Atlantic. Items in the gift shop are very reasonable and the lunch spot recommendation was spot on. One for petrolheads.

We had a great time here! Treated us so well. That made the experience so fun. My grandson had the best time for any 5 yr old car lover could have!

Wow! This out-of-the-way place boasts an incredible collection of antique and classic cars. The place is immaculate and each car and display has a an informational placard. You wont want to miss this!

Awesome place, so many different cars to see!

Road trip from LA to Ohio and back. Santa Rosa was an overnight stop. Wed hoped to see the Blue Hole but the weather didnt hold. As we ate at a local diner someone mentioned the 66 Auto Museum. $5 admission, 30+ cars ranging from hot rods to classics to muscle cars. Most are fully restored, some are even for sale. Spent an hour or so, took a ton of photos. Not much to do in Santa Rosa but worth stopping to see this!

This place is a great place to go I recommend it for everybody especially if you are car fanatic love old style cars it is quite often that they have a lot of things different vehicles in there for you to be able to see you you should check it out this place in the world is but its a little expensive its only thing I do not like you need to bring the prices down a lot for people to be able to go in there more often especially four the local local residenceor even if they had certain days were it was 75% off if you could show proof of your address where you live out here in Springfield puppy cool for them to do something like that so please and thank you Ill be awesome for you guys to do that

It is okay. Very little that is related to route 66. It is a little car museum that happens to be on route 66. Dont worry if you miss it. You didnt miss much.

The cars here are pieces of a time capsule. They are amazing and easy to spend some time around. Even if you arent huge into cars!!!

This museum is actually a collection of the owner’s cars. There are a lot of great looking cars and my husband thoroughly enjoyed walking through. We were there over 2 hours and could have easily stayed longer, but the building is not air conditioned and I was getting too hot. A lot of the cars had some interesting history behind them. Definitely worth a visit.

By far the best car museum I ever been too, and I been too my share! You have too visit this place! Really funny and welkoming museum keeper! Really a lot of different cars. And thats some of the thing that makes this museum unique, the variarion of vehicles. Some are really rare too, and there are several movie stars.

Around 75 cars on display. Some quite unique.

The museum had a bunch of beautiful cars! They were nicely arranged and lovely to look at. We were allowed to sit in one of them and take pictures. It was a neat place to visit!

Super cool place visited with the people working there. A person can walk up next to the vehicles and look inside. Very fun, educational place. Worth the 13.00 for admission

Unique cars from all classic eras. The collection has cars from all parts of the world foreign and domestic. The collection contains a original Horch, Piers Arrow, a near perfect original Ford model A. toys and other old car stuff for sale too!

This is a great little museum. The staff was very friendly and willing to answer any questions we had.

Any gearhead should come here, full of holy cars that would make your jaw drop. Highlights: The Batmobile, Ecto-1, Winston Churchills Safari crusier, and the monster truck. 15 dollars for an ammitance fee is too much though.

Great museum But not very friendly

Great collection! I went alone so I was able to talk to the lady watching over the shop. These cars arent garage queens, the owner restores them and drives them around. I even heard he will rent out some vehicles for weddings or other special occasions. The owner comes with the car as the driver of course.

Went today. High light was Batman replica and ghostbuster replica. Neat roadsters and sport cars. Lots of classics. Friendly staff.

Cars well cared for

Smaller but very good collection of interesting cars. Theres a shop where cars are restored and maintained in operating condition. We were glad help support preserving these wonderful classics.

Awesome car collection

Dont set your expectations to high and itll be a good experience. At $15 fee it was disappointing. No AC, only a few 50s & 60s American cars ( two nice Jaguars and two Porches). Mostly pre war stuff. He does have a Delorean. Batmobile and Ghost Busters car. Probably like 30 cars. Cool part they all seem to run. The keys were in most all of the cars.
