We had fun bumping around... Maybe next time well be there for the living history of the ranch. My wifes grandfather helped plant some of the filbert trees at the ranch, so it was a nice piece of personal history. Fun with the family.! This is somewhere is definitely visit again and recommend to others. Its really a place the whole family can enjoy!

Wow, this park is beautiful and the four mile path to Clear Water Park that skirts the river is a fantastic all whether path, good for bikes, strollers, mobility vehicles, walkers and runners. Benches are placed a along the path at wonderful view points. At both ends of the trail are ADA restrooms with flush toilets and a portable restroom at about mid point. This in town place to experience nature, offers views of the river and a woodland setting with oak, maple and fir trees, ferns and so much more. We spotted a deer an eagle a snake a fun caterpillar, so much nature.

After hiking up steep hills (do Pisgah!) for 3 days all over the area it was very nice to do a leisurely walk on a paved path along the McKenzie river. The bathroom was very clean and well stocked and the porta potties along the trail were well serviced. Blackberry bushes were everywhere along the trail which made for a nice snack. I wasnt able to visit the farm because of time constraints but definitely would go back. The river views were stunning!

Great place for an easy walk! Plenty of space to wander around and feel like you have the place to yourself. You can explore multiple trails through the orchards and along the river, or stick to the bike trail. As a side adventure, you can tour the small pioneer village behind the farmhouse. Conveniently close to downtown Springfield, but far enough to not feel as if you are walking in an urban area.

This was a longstanding farming operation that has been preserved for us to experience. There is still some equipment there. You can still walk down the roads through the hazelnut trees. There are many paths to explore. Signs and posted explanations are along those paths and in a small covered structure.
