Good path.. but I felt a bit scared at night even though it is lot up well..you can hear voices...and no one is around

Its a relaxing, earthy place to visit thats really no sweat to get to. Its right down town!

I love this place and Ivan Parker as well and it saddens me so much that there is garbage didst up there all the time I pick it up and dispose of it I just get irritated sometimes that I have to at all

Note to Arbys please lets make sure we do not call out personal peoples names maybe for the number of the tickets that would be great but I do not like my name being called out in RVs restaurant I just dont like everybody knowing my first name just like that too personal thank you my opinion

Its very interesting to be at this park having pictures of the millrace and knowing what they did back when they used it to run the logs down the water its strange to think of how they would have had to have done that back in the early 1920s I really like it

Nice water, friendly geese, great place to admire pretty pebbles.

Millrace Park has a large arbor that has 3 benches for you to siton & a very healthy vining plantthat covers it. There is a overlookplatform that juts out by the mill-race that lets you observe the stream & plants & animals thatlive in the area. A pretty seatedsunken, slightly private amenityis on the west end of the park,just before you go down the hillto the river (Willamette)! Thereis a nice big open grassy area &parking is on the otherside of thearbor. If you have an electric vehicle, you can change it here inthe parking lot at the chargingstation.

It was a nice place to sit and have a ciggarette. Saw one person Ive known for years. Werent alot of people about. Serious lack of available ladys;)

Beautiful park. There were a few homeless people there sleeping, so could not go everywhere, but still beautiful.

It has a nice area to sit and watch the waterfall. One drawback no alcohol aloud because its owned by wilamalane

Favorite part of town

I found it fascinating that this place actually existed! We kind of stumbled upon it after visiting the Springfield Depot. I am a lifelong resident of the area and had never known about it.Actually kind of a diamond in the rough as far as city parks go BUT it did not seem very well maintained; the statue was in ill repair with paint chipping and general wear and tear from the elements. I guess you could call it the terrace area was also not looking too good due to lack of maintenance.We also walked the path toward the river along the millrace and ended up in the backyard of a private vision business as there was no signage to speak of and the path just dead ended there!I love Springfield and I love the open spaces however this one needs some TLC and signage!
