It was ok. Look If your going to the movie theatres go to the Alamo. The seating is better, the seats are way cleaner, and the food selection is also way better. The seats in the theatre were dirty and were not clean what so ever. They were clearly not ready to open up and it showed.
It is convenient to home and is a nice, clean theater. I have not been back since we have a mask mandate in Springfield.
Had a nice experience going to the movies here. Nice big screens, comfortable seats and very clean auditoriums. Great dolby sound system too.Only weird thing is you buy your tickets at the concession stand. There was only one person running the concession stand so the wait was a little long.
It was great to be back at the movies, very clean, popcorn was so good!!!
To start; beautiful exterior, mondernesk with a very easy to see sign lit right in the front. Its right on Campbell towards the West side of town, just south of tropical liquor, and across the street from hurts donuts.Inside it was laid out pretty easy to follow, unlike several other theaters I have been in. Inside of the theater rooms they have a few seats towards the center for couples to sit, or for wheel chair access to sit and watch. The chairs are comfy, so much so I fell asleep watching the movie. +1 to the owners on that. I didnt happen to get concessions of the two times I have been in. Though, asking around for this review, many people really enjoyed the popcorn. I did see where you could add extra butter and flavors, which should be a staple in any theater now.Overall I would recommend this, they even took my student I.D being my login for OTC on my phone. My lady friend that went with me didnt have to show I.D either once I showed mine. Great experience, and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a sub $10 movie experience.
Decided to watch a movie with our family on Christmas! Was super awesome and not even crowded. Great service from everyone! Thank you we will be back again! Maybe a new tradition? Watching a movie after our Christmas meal.
Usually no issues, but was carded for an R-rated film last time. My husband was paying, so I didnt have my purse. Didnt want to walk all the way back in the rain, so we got donuts nearby and left. What are the odds of a minor dating someone with a USMC tattoo?
With the advent of reclining seats and reserving your seat ahead of time at other theatres, this one feels a little dated. However,Its location makes it still a great movie theater for someone who doesnt want to drive to the south side of town or is already downtown on foot. It is still clean, safe, staffed by friendly workers, and showing all the new movies you want to see.
Roomy, good movies, too many ads before the movie, other than that if you want to eat out on the square or downtown, this is the place to go for new movies. Easy parking in the garage across the street
My favorite movie theatre in the Springfield, Ozarks area. Clean with great seating. Quality screen resolution. Upstanding management.
Unlimited pass is great I saw 3 movies one day great activity for cold rainy days
Pricey? You betcha! But Im not sure why anyone would expect anything different. Great facilities, great snack selection, and everything was relatively clean.
Basic movie theatre. Concessions attendant had an attitude bc I asked for fresh popcorn. The theatre attendant was very nice. Well maintained and clean.
As far as theaters go, this one is one of the best, central location, variety of movies and the concession stand is pretty well supplied. The only complain I have is the times of the movies, how is it that a brand new movie such as Bad Boys For life only gets 3 shows a day which the only one at night is at 7? Maybe not much ratings but the room I was in was packed. Idk. Just a thought.
Terrible, slow service. Would have been nice if we didnt have to wait another 10 minutes in line to get a spoon for my daughters frozen lemonade. Whats the point in having a ticket booth if no one works at it? And theres only 1 person working concessions. This used to be my favorite movie theater. Emphasis on USED TO BE.
I love seeing movies here. Comfortable seats and environment. Right downtown in the middle of the city. Lots of dining options within walking distance.
This is an exceptional theater. Very clean with a friendly staff. Parking garage next to it provides free public parking. Very nice location in beautiful downtown Springfield, MO!!
Good theater. Clean, fun experience, and decent movie variety. Foods expensive.Best part about this theater is its location. Right next to a parking garage and hurts donuts. A block away from the downtown square.
The staff at this theater are warm and accommodating. I not only felt welcome, they had a way of making me feel they were excited FOR me because of the movie I was seeing. The theater itself was clean and comfortable. That goes for the concession stand, too. Very clean and the staff was great. I really enjoyed my visit there. I will definitely be back.
Way better than the Alamo Drafthouse!!! Never crowded; you can sit anywhere without being split up since theres no pre-seat picking and the seats rock for your comfort!!! Plus $18/month lets you see all the movies you want anytime you want.
My daughter and I planned on watching two movies in a row. I left her at the kiosk to buy the tickets while I used the restroom. They wouldnt allow me to use it unless I bought tickets. Poor choice I wont be back since I had to leave to use a restroom elsewhere.
Really like Regal College Station. Comfy seats and prices in line with others. Employees were pleasant.
Very nice theater. Seating and screens are comfortable and met expectations. The staff was polite and accommodating. The only thing holding them back from 4 stars Is that extra umph of customer service friendliness. If the step up their game they could be 4 star.
We went there to watch Jumanji 2 .... It was a good experience. Friendly staff. Comfortable seats. .... Recommend it ....
Pretty nice place. Become a member today and for just 20 something a month and you can watch unlimited movies. Earn points and get free popcorn Nd soda
Could have been cleaner for the amount of business in there. The staff was all smiles and attentive when needed. The guy kept coming in and counting the seven of us watching the movie. The drinks were cold. The popcorn was hot.
Just your run of the mill reliable movie theater. Not new and fresh but not run down either.
Had a lot more recent films than I had thought. The popcorn can get a little spongy but other than that its a great place to see a new film.Sit towards the front middle, the speakers are better.
Nice clean theater. Clean rest rooms. The staff is pleasant.
I prefer less busy theatres than Alamo or Springfield 11. These chairs are comfortable and clean. It is not a perfect 5 but it is the theater I know I can get a seat at on most opening weekend still.
My family and I watched Aladdin here. It was a very enjoyable experience. The staff are friendly and the theaters are kept clean. They sweep after each show! The seats are also comfortable and the screen is huge!
Very nice theatre, comfortable seats and clean. Free parking across the street.
It seems easier to get in and out of than other theaters. The staff members have always been very friendly, profesional, and attentive.
Not a bad place for tuesday night movies at half price with the reward program
Unfortunately, the theatre needs some work and the staff needs to do better policing. Every time Ive been here, the theatre has always been undersold and there has always been unruly guests. Nothing is ever done about the loud and obnoxious guests, however. The plus is that the food here is actually a decent little treat. The other upside is the fact that it isnt really difficult to find a seat if you come here.
We bring our two kids here every weekend pretty much. Its our family treat and we love this place. Great friendly staff, always clean, and they dont shame us when our toddlers are a bit rowdy going in. Its a bit expensive for concessions, but what theater isnt like that? We go here even though there are 3 other theaters closer to us, so thats something.
Went and saw Lion King. Pretty clean, a little pricey and had to tell the management turn the a/c because it was a bit warm inside. But overall nice family place.
Big, modern, and clean. Big comfy chairs, bright screens, and clean bathrooms. Free parking right next door. Ill definitely be back next time Im in Springfield.
If i could give no star i would. workers are very disrespectful and rude and also didn’t refund us ALL OF OUR MONEY. and got rude again when we asked them to. which they still didn’t afterwards.
Terrible outdated movie theater. Seats are old and uncomfortable. Food and beverages choices are limited. No rules within the movie theater, kids on there phones, talking, and baby crying. Go to Alamo or Battlefield 11.
2nd favorite theater in Springfield. It’s always clean and it’s easy to order tickets before you get there. Seems to take forever to get concessions though so give yourself time for that. Parking is simple in the garage across the street. Last time we went was the first time we actually saw a lot of homeless sleeping on the sidewalk between. Haven’t been back since so not sure if that’s been common lately or not, just heads up.
Real good theater for its location...its never usually crowded and is convenient location.
Really dont appreciate them messing up my order, making me wait another 5 minutes for them to remake my order while my movie has started and not offerings nothing for there mistakes. At the very least they could have gave the messed up order to my girlfriend, since I am the one allergic to what they put on there (after telling them twice to put it on the side). Thanks
Typical movie theater. 30+minutes of advertising when the movie was supposed to start. If a movie has a start time of 6:10, I expect the movie to start at that time or shortly after. Very disappointing. Seats were subpar. Alamo drafthouse is definitely the place to go.
Went on the weekend trying to watch starwars cause everywhere else was booked solid. Literally showed up 15 min in advanced and got any seat we wanted Im sure it being slow isnt good for the company but its great to watch new movies they dont have a bar or fancy service but the theater itself is not bad at all.
Great place for a fantastic movie experience. They are never super swamped, so they are a great location for opening weekend movies. The food has greatly improved the last couple of years, as well.
It was awesome using my rewardsI got a free small soda today so I only paid for the value price of my ticket
Good movies. Saw Star Wars in 3D...was awesome.
It was great, the cinema building inside and out is very clean the popcorn was fresh popped and very good. The service of the staff was also very good, the theater I was in was very clean and the chairs were comfortable. It has an inside and outside box office and inside ticket kiosks where you can buy tickets if the inside ticket desk is busy or also where you can get your previous purchased tickets. Definitely gets a 5 star rating.
I really enjoy going here, but my boyfriend and I usually go to the Alamo because they have better deals on tickets. I can get our tickets plus food for both of us for around $30. The regal costs almost $30 for tickets including a student discount.
Its a movie theater. Good appearance and clean. Unfortunately doesnt yet have the recliner chairs, so one point down for stadium style seats.
Uncomfortable seats. Why pay the same price when you can go to a better theater. Concessions also overpriced. Really over $5 for a bottle of water.
Very nice place. Friendly service and clean, nice theatre.
No seasoning salt for popcorn. there are no popcorn and drink combos so this makes it more expensive than other theatres the seats do not recline. very average theatre but expensive.
Personal favorite theater in Springfield. Best ticket prices around and last I checked they still discount brand new movies on Tuesdays (though its been awhile since I went to one of those). Concessions are overpriced (but at what theater arent they?). All theaters have lots of leg room and the lazy boy recliners. Also the shows, at least not the new viewings, usually arent that full so the ambient noise level seems to be below average.
I love this theater, I go here all the time. It never seems to get super busy, which is one of the things I like about it. Staff is friendly and the place seems clean. My only complaint is that parking can be a little difficult sometimes on Friday/Saturday nights.
Great place to go and experience a movie. We had no line to wait in they had those kiosk machine, which was perfect. My husband chose the film Us and it was terrible wasnt worth $22.00. I think Dumbo would of been a lot better. The theater was very clean, chairs where awesome. The food price Way To High there is no reason for that.
Over all was a pleasant. Front door has a sharp point which caught and cut my daughters foot. the hog panels they have out to keep people off grass tripped my so and scratched his arm but besides clumsy kids we had a good time.
Nice theater. Ill see a movie there again.
We wanted to take the kids to see the new Spiderman movie and every other theater was sold out. This theater was great at helping us and saving back tickets. We rushed over there and get there 5 minutes before the movie started. They went above and beyond making sure we made it before it started.
Dont go here very often as they only have discounted tickets once a week. Also, standing in line & just take whatever seats are available & they dont recline. The good thing is the theater is clean including the bathrooms.
Great movie theatre and great time to go if you have the flexibility to be there around 3-4pm in the afternoon. Not too busy and we had the whole movie to ourselves. Very clean and great offerings. Staff was geeat!
.Seats are OK, ticket and concession prices are on the high side for the area. Large amount of screens available, so selection of films is good. Easy access to restaurants and bars aplenty for pre- or post-film enjoyment.
It was great, staff was very friendly!! The theater was very clean and chairs were super comfy. It was wheelchair accessible and the accessible seats were in a great spot. It also was a wonderful movie that I watched, highly recommend the movie The Upside!!!
Terrible experience at this theater.. my husband and I went to see the new Anabelle movie. People were talking and cracking jokes through the first 30 minutes of the movie and thats when we left and asked for a refund. It was impossible to hear the movie! Popcorn was stale too. We will never come back to this theater. Glad we were able to get a refund.
Good place to get ya movie on.
Prices are way too high! It costs $40 for 2 adult tix, 1 large drink and 1 small popcorn! Thats ridiculous
This was the first time I have seen a movie in a couple of years and I was absolutely thrilled to see that the whole movie was really a very special event that was being monitored by other people who havent experienced this kind of stuff in a movie or anything like it.
Good sound, good picture, close-by ( downtown Springfield, Missouri)
I like this theater because its closed and usually never busy. Prices for concessions are reasonable. I wish that some of the theaters were a little bigger but for the price its a good place to watch a movie
Great pricing on tickets. Snacks are a bit pricey though. Skip the candy and just get popcorn, its cheaper, plentiful, and they have a flavor station so you can jazz it up how you like.As for the theaters, comfy seats, good quality sound and picture. I plan to return.
Nice place, could use a bench or two and lower refreshment prices.
Love this place! Plus throwback Tuesday is an amazing deal!
Not a great a experience. We went to go see spiderman 2 and the theatre was very small and the projecter wasnt working. We didnt get to see the movie. We got a refund for our tickets. When we asked if we could get are our money back for the food and drinks we bought that were somewhat already eaten, they made us give all of our food and drinks back. Customer service also seemed somewhat rude. But the movie theater attendant was nice and we got a refund.
The prices are insane...ticket prices are ok but pop and stale popcorn cost as much as a dinner at a decent restaraunt.
Hot dog bun was has hard as a rock employee said not his problem
Love this place for movies, they are rarely crowded and give points for free stuff, birthday free popcorn and drinks. Affordable and friendly. Little lady named Emerald is behind the counter for refreshments. Shes awesome. The mgmt is super friendly and accommodating to most situations. Check em out.
Saw JOKER with the wife on date night yesterday. We both felt the movie was very emotionally compelling and entertaining to watch. I can only imagine that perhaps the people who regard this movie in a negative light either dont take it for what it is, or have fortunately never had situations similar to Arthurs and can not relate to his ascent into his unadulterated mental state.I digress, this review is for the theater we saw the movie in, not the movie itself. The parking was awesome. I do appreciate the forethought that went into the revitalization of the downtown area in the 00s. The area and atmosphere was in no way cold or inhospitable. There were smiling faces and young couples oblivious to the trials that awaited them later in life as we walked from the garage to the theater. We did muse that the parking garage elevator smelled strongly of urine, that was rather unsavory. The exterior ticket booth was closed, prompting us to purchase admission at the concessions stand. Clever move College Station. Of course I would feel quite the pennywise if I did not procure the the $20 bucket of stale popcorn and mildly carbonated coca-cola to sustain any cravings or stress eating that may be induced by such a fantastically anxiety inducing film. Total bill for 2 tickets + our aforementioned concessions: ~$40. We were informed of what seemed to be a fairly thrifty opportunity if you are somewhat of a film connoisseur; This theater offers unlimited movie views for a paltry $18 monthly fee.The audience we experienced the film with were respectful and seemed to be of similar enough mindset to understand the motives and perhaps even empathize with the character of Arthur Fleck. The theater seats were quite comfortable and I appreciated that the armrest/cupholders folded away to facilitate the snuggling of ones preferred paramour. They could do with a bit more leg room in my opinion as I am not of particularly long shank and I began to find it a bit cramped towards the end of the film. I did not enjoy the half-hour of advertisements prior to the start of the film.I will be back to see films here. In all likelihood I will subscribe to their unlimited film program. I was strongly disappointed I paid $20 for stale popcorn and flat coke. I will review in the future and hopefully these issues will be rectified so that I may bestow all five stars. Go see JOKER. Go see it here. Be wary of the concessions dealer.
This place would have rated 4 or 5 stars if it wasnt for the lack of service at the concession stand. They only ever have 2 people at best working concessions and its a long wait in line. The line to the concessions was all the way to the door when I went the last time. There is no point in getting free refills and ordering a large popcorn when you have to miss 10 or 15 minutes of your movie to get anything. Other than that I like this theater. Sound and picture quality is good and the place is consistently clean.
The BEST Place For Movies Out! Clean-Great Rewards Program-Comfortable-Smells Awesome! No stale beer smell here!
This theater isnt bad. The parking is in one of two nearby parking garages and the theater is in the heart of Downtown Springfield. Very clean and the staff is polite. You purchase tickets at the pickup window prior to walking in the building which eliminates foot traffic from people who wouldnt normally by a ticket but want to loiter on the property.
Very nice theater. The price was pretty reasonable for both tickets and concessions. The seats were very comfy. Theater wasnt ice cold like most normally are. Both restrooms, for the women at least, were very cleaned and maintained
Aside from the price (not too bad, theaters have simply gotten ridiculously expensive in my opinion), my only complaint is that it was SO COLD during the movie the ice in our drink didnt even melt. It was freezing. That being said, the employees were polite and helpful, the bathrooms were clean, the seats were comfortable and the quality (in both sound and picture) was unbeatable. Also, the temperature in the theater made it easier to snuggle so is it really a big deal? Lol!
Wow. Wish Id checked the reviews first. Its a cute dated place, but modern day bad service. The final show off ignorance was when I asked about nachos and when I told them I cant eat chili I was told Id get charged for cheese instead. The manager didnt care, and told me its an inventory thing. For the price Im sure they could figure out the inventory.. Our at least try to appear understanding. We try to watch one or two movies a week. I assure you when I get moved Ill save money and buy apple movies before Id return here. I work hard for my money... Ill find a place that is happy to have me spending it in their store.Hope that cheese was worth making a first time customer irritated, losing my nacho sale, the food for my two teenage boys, and future business. Glad you didnt throw off your cheese inventory.
Its a movie theater. A cinema if you will.. Convenient location in downtown Springfield Missouri
Great staff and food was good
Went to the movies on my birthday and the movie itself was good but the theater never turned the lights off after the previews were over and the movie started playing which was weird to me and made it hard to get into the movie also the snacks an drinks are deffinitly overpriced but thats unfortunately how it is at most movie theaters.
My Grandson and I loved the new showing of the Toy Story 3 Love ya Jamie!
I absolutely love this theater!
Clean and nice, they took a little to long to cook our food. And it still only lukewarm. But Very nice facility.
Not a good first experience here. Paid way to much money for stale popcorn. Staff was not pleasantWe see alot of movies but it wont here again
Nice and friendly people! We enjoy watching our movie!
Im displeased with them. On Tuesday nights it use to be $5 night. Not any longer unless you are a certain type of member. When I was trying to buy food, they said they were out. I was about to leave and all of a sudden they had what I requested. Not going back again. Very displeased.
Nice facility, staff was friendly. Vendor prices were a little high but you get one free refill on large drinks. Theatres sound system was ok but not excellent. Last negative aspect is the bathroom policy. Bathrooms are located inside the theatre and not in the lobby and they require you to show your ticket stubbs to use the bathroom.
Clean theaters and they offer a military discount
Good theater. Staff seems good. Probably could use more parking. More than half the parking garage is reserved for residents near and around theater. Spots fill up fast.
This movie theater is pretty great. However, the ticket prices are WAY too expensive at $10/ticket and Ive never been offered a student discount like other theaters. Rewards card is not bad that they offer and points seem to accumulate quickly so you can get discounted or free concessions.Theater is always clean, heavily monitored, and comfortable.Tuesdays are the day to go because tickets are half price.
The people are nice and they are never as packed as the other theaters. It doesnt have the reclining seats but that is not what I am looking for when I go to a theater. I saw The Last Jedi there and took my son for the first time. We had a great time and he really enjoyed it.
