We had a very pleasant experienceTrust me they give you enough popcorn to kill you LOLand its good popcorn.The service is amazing the atmosphere is like OMGEPS if you buy loaded french fries its got some kind of hot ingredients in it unfortunately I didnt like it.

Definitely the best movie theatre in Springfield, theatre rooms are smaller than average and that’s a good thing. There are serves constantly moving around, checking on meals and such, I could see it being annoying if you’re distracted easily. Also, it might be high quality movie theatre food, but it’s still movie theatre food.

I miss this place so much! By far the best way to watch a movie in SGF. The staff is usually super attentive. The food is good, and the overall experience is awesome.

My kid’s an myself always grab a spinach chicken pizza an chicken strips before our viewing! Ps it’s nice they have a draft house perks! An love the clean personal seating!! can’t wait to go back again!!

This place is great for a laid-back movie theater experience. The seats are very comfortable and its nice to put your feet up while youre watching the movie. the staff is polite, during the movie if they have to walk past you they try to remain out of your point of view so that they dont disrupt the movie. They bring the food to you and you can order at any point during the movie. They do offer a range of variety in that they offer snacks on up to meals. They also have kids meals and food for those who are vegan

The menu is, of course, usually bigger, but understandably more limited due to covid. This is one of my favorite theaters in town, due in part to their classic film series. Highly recommend a visit.

Havent been here since the new ownership/changes. Theater seating is very comfortable, restrooms were clean and staff was very attentive. I went for a movie and tea: everything was delicious.I had a great experience!

The place is nice and kept clean nicely. However thats really where the good ends. The reclining chairs while nice are not specific to Alamo alone. Then there is the pricing of food and drink. Come on $5 for a soda? Where am I six flags or Disney world? Then it usually takes forever to get a refill with their new cards that are shorter then the previous. Then there is their whole new policy with the Italian sodas. They would let you switch flavors for your free refills since nothing changes other than the syrup jug they pump from. Then like I always had I asked for a different flavor for refills. When the bill came I was charged for four separate drinks. No warning that they changed the policy before getting the refills. So I took the bill to the server and he said thats the new policy. I asked how they thought they could justify the full charges since one they offer free refills and two the amounts used are equal, that the only difference is literally the jug they pump from. I can understand if they want to keep specific records for inventory by flavor but you could easily charge the $.50 for the syrup instead of a full damn drink since it doesnt matter where the seltzer war comes from. So I paid it but Ill never pay the money for drinks again.

Movie was good, loud eaters distracting, and my diet coke was like 6 bucks

Our first time coming here. We came in around 6pm and there were no seats together for our party of 3. Id recommend buying tickets 3-4 days in advance to get your party seated together! Because our party of 3 was hungry we decided to stay and try the food. The grilled cheese is delicious (not worth the price though) and the meatballs are delicious as well. However, we waited about 45 minutes almost an hour to get our food.

Love this place! Its the only place I go to see a movie! Its crazy comfortable, I bring a blanket every time! The staff is wonderful, The food is awesome as well! The only thing I will say is the menu prices took an incline not long after opening and it can be kind of steep to go have dinner and a movie for a couple of people.

Its always a pleasure to come here. While a bit nostalgic from back when this was the Wherenberg Theater, I love what Alamo has done with the place. The theater is nice, seats are comfy and spacious, the food is good, service is great, and reserved seating is the bomb. Strict rules against noise definitely makes for a more perfect theater experience. While I havent hit up the Drafthouse part of the theater, being a non-drinker, Ill leave that to other patrons to review. If youre looking for a wonderful theater experience with the added benefit of dinner at the same time, Alamo Drafthouse should definitely be on your list.

This is what every movie theater should be like. You pick and purchase your seats either at location or several days prior. Then walk in and sit down before the movie in you recliner style seat. Then have the option to order drinks (both alcoholic and not), food, candy, and popcorn through out the movie without getting up. You just write down what you want and a server will get the request and fill it promptly. Its truly my favorite place to go see movie.

I was here a couple of nights ago and had a MAGNIFICENT time!! My server, Chandler, was a huge part of this positive experience. He was a super nice guy, had a great personality, and was on top of absolutely every single order card I put up. I ordered at least 4 popcorn refills throughout a very short movie (Frozen 2), and you know who was there within 3 minutes of EVERY order card I put up? Chandler was there. :)

Great food and drinks, can be expensive but its defiantly worth doing once and awhile, especially for a date night.

This place is great. Very large menu that has something for everyone, even offers vegetarian options. Seats are very comfy with a recliner. Staff is friendly and offers great suggestions on what movie to see next. Make sure to reserve your seat ahead of time.

Alamo Draft house is insane! I mean it has awesome beer, great food, and UNLIMITED popcorn for $5. If you like a good place to relax and unwind head to Alamo Draft house. BEST Movie cinema in town.

I love everything about this theater! The service was fantastic, the food and beer prices were NOT bad compared to any other movie theater, the popcorn tasted homemade (my favorite), the atmosphere is great! Best theater experience I’ve ever had.

Great place to watch movies without having them ruined by loud mouths. Food is a bit pricey but delicious, just dont get the cashew chicken. The pizza is quite delicious though and probably the best value on the menu.

My husband and I go to the Alamo once or twice every few months. Usually we have a great time and get excellent service. The servers are always attentive and make sure you’re good on drinks and food. Tonight we didn’t have that experience. We arrived at 20 minutes before the movie started and ordered the “unlimited” popcorn. Popcorn was served about 5 minutes after the movie started and we never saw a server again after that. Put another order card up for a popcorn refill and some candy, however, our server didn’t come back to our table until it was time to hand out checks. The order card set upright at the front of our table for at least an hour. The server then attempted to grab the order card which I almost forgot about. I informed him that we no longer wanted to order anything as the movie was almost over. Just disappointing. Don’t order the “unlimited” popcorn because they won’t come back to your table to give you a refill and if they do they’ll wait until the movie is almost over.

We saw Midway on Veterans day 11-11-19. Awesome seating, the chairs are lounge style. The sound effects are the best Ive ever heard anywhere. Ive lived all over the world. The food is freshly made to order and comes piping hot. Great kitchen staff. Nice guys at the ticket counter who will explain every movie showing if they can and have the time. The food runners are NOT in the way. The servers are quick and fast. Go and have a great time, its so worth the drive if you live out of town. Thanks management doing a awesome job.

Took my husband here to celebrate his birthday. It is a little pricey, but totally worth it! The food was amazing and the service was friendly and quick. It was a great experience!

I absolutely love this place! Comfy reclining chairs, tables to eat on during the movie, and great selections! They have gluten free amd vegan options for many of the item menus. Some are listed and others you just have to ask about. They also to trivia nights which are super fun! All around great place to hang with friends for a night out if you dont like the bar scene. But they DO have a bar for friends who still want to drink.

First time at an Alamo Drafthouse and we loved it. Servers were great and the seats and theater were really comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Honestly I dont know why you would go to any other theater in town. Except the Moxie, I also recommend the Moxie for smaller films. But were talking about Alamo here. Heres what I can tell you: $8.65 ticket with a student discount. DOPE. Also??? Reclining seats. THICC AISLES so you dont have to be anxious about getting up and squeezing past a bunch of people to get out. Weird Russian acrobatic short-films before every movie: of course. Food? Heck yeah. Fried pickles, baby. A trough of deep-fried vinegar-cumbers delivered right to your seat. And for all you Midwesterners out there: You know not all ranch is created equal. This place has GOOD RANCH.

Great theater. Been here a few times and love it. It has reserved seating which is nice. Super comfortable recliners and a clean facility with friendly staffing. The food is delishious and to top things off you get catered adult beverages to you while you watch the movie! Prices are the same ticket entry as to any other theatre you would go to.

Really liked being able to order food, eat, and watch a movie in one place. Most people go to dinner and a movie, so why not do both at the same time. They even have a full bar. The seats are really comfortable and recline. The menu has a variety of salads, burgers, or pizza.

Fun, relaxed atmosphere... a bit pricey... Lower prices= more customers- that sounds like a win-win to me, but everybody wants to get rich instead...

A bit pricey but lots of fun and I love the movie specific pre-show. They also do fun things for big premieres. We got some merchandise from the Star Wars release in Dec 2019. It is a nice theater and very date friendly!

One of my favorite places and missing it sooo much during the Covid shutdown. LOVE LOVE LOVE the reserved seating...why would any modern theater make you stand in line for a ticket?? The food is great...seats are the best in town...be sure to get there well before the movie starts just to see their hilarious pre-movie entertainment. They have a movie club with lots of insider benefits. The bar with live entertainment is also a fun hang-out before, after or instead of a movie. THIS is how all movie theaters should be done. Great. Their food service quality had dropped off a bit last year, said something about it and they made it right. And now last few times I have been, they have been quick and attentive and with speedy and GOOD food delivery. I Enjoy it there again

Best theater in town. Hands down.

The Alamo has a great atmosphere and I love the food service! The reclining seats are comfortable and the table in the middle has a small light underneath it to be able to read the menu when movies are playing. I also love that they enforce the no talking policy and age restrict except for certain days/movies so that the movie is not interrupted.

The Alamo was a fantastic experience. Our server, Chandler, was polite and attentive to our needs. He really went the extra mile to make our experience extra special. Good job Alamo!

The staff are super nice and the seating is ideal. Food is just ok, could really use more offerings. If you get the popcorn...ask for the herb cheese. Humus isnt that great and their fried pickles are spears, but their burgers are pretty good and the mac and cheese bites are awesome!

Went to the Dark Knight movie party. Terrific people and amazing food (as always). Great job! The movie parties are to die for because you can actually experience the movie differently than any other movie showing

Growing up involved going to whichever theater had the desired movie time for my schedule...but after having gone to the Alamo, I will only go to the Alamo. Missing out on a movie is overrated and the convenience of ordering without leaving your seat and having your grub delivered to your seat is a game changer. The seats seem to recline at just the right angle with just the right amount of padding. I will say the only annoying details are that the tables which are shared between 2 seats are not adjustable for height and the light under the table does not have a switch to have it on or off. All in all, my wife and I have enjoyed each and every experience and the management here always takes care of you if you have an issue of any sort such as rain checks or noisy customers. I will say I havent had much of the foods offered here other than soft drinks, popcorn, and a few alcoholic beverages so I do not feel compelled to comment on the food other than it smells good and it can get pricey.

By far the best place in town to catch a flick! Enjoy the best popcorn, any meal and drink Alamo is currently serving while reclining! Conveniently located near shopping and restaurants to keep the day alive. Five stars all the way!

Had an incredible first time at the Alamo Drafthouse. Location is easy to get to and service was wonderful. We purchased three tickets online and one that couldnt make it. Staff was more than happy to refund the unused ticket.Seats were nice and theater was clean. Waiter took great care of us and the food was good. Definitely a fun time and different atmosphere for a movie theater. Will definitely be back.

Love Alamo. Great service and food. The fried pickles and loaded fries are some of the best. However, the atmosphere and quirky previews are super fun.

Our absolute favorite place to watch a movie in the Springfield metro. Seats are amazingly comfortable. Food is great. Loaded french fries are my new favorite. Tons of drinks on tap. Lots are local if you are like us and like to try local brews. Prices are good. Most of the time cheaper than other places. They have lots of fun movie related events.

This should be more like 4.5 stars. Movie was great and service was super friendly. But the people next to us said their entire order was totally messed up and then they waited till the very to come take our card to pay so good thing we werent in a hurry to leave because that added another 15 minutes to our night. But overall, still a good experience and we still love Alamo.

Me and my wife went to watch John Wick 3. This place has very comfortable electric lounge chairs. The menu had a good variety of food and snacks. We ordered the pretzel. It was nice and fresh. The popcorn was very good, served in a metal bowl keeping it nice and warm. We also ordered a couple different shakes. The shakes we ordered were fantastic! The wait staff, are quiet and stay out of the line of sight of the movie screen. I know me and my wife will definitely go back, to us, this is the only way to watch a movie. Very spacious, no one is kicking your chair, you dont have to get up so people can pass you to go to the bathroom! This place is fantastic!

I just can’t explain how good the food is, I mean o my God. Avocado toast...best around...Buffalo Cauliflower bites...don’t even try and compare...fried pickles...they are Spears...don’t play yourself these are bomb too...drinks? Yes please they are delicious...Want to see an early movie? Get yourself a personal French press coffee with waffles...are you kidding me?This is my favorite place in Springfield hands down...a movie theatre...and I’m 100% certain

The best theater in town. Order the buffalo cauliflower bites.... you’ll thank me later! They’re old-fashioned is also amazing. Oh! And the movie experience is the best in town, too with seating selection, recliners, and service. We have become Alamo snobs and don’t even consider other theaters!

Everyone was helpful and friendly for our first visit. Made a nice date night. Get there at least 30 minutes. We had cashew chicken and Asian salad. if you have a problem with salt probably should stay clear cashew chicken.

Hear what you pay for is exactly what you get. They cost a little bit more than any theater in town, but they definitely provide more than any theater in town. Very friendly, great service.

This is not just any old movie theater..this is a unique experience. I went here on a date with my boyfriend and we both loved this place. The entire atmosphere is amazing, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the food is great! It was so awesome to be catered to while watching the movie, I cant wait to go back again!

We love coming here as much as we can which unfortunately is not enough but we recommend everybody try this wonderful theater! When you walk in it’s very inviting and they have all different kinds of things for you to choose from to enjoy your movie with. Their seats are extremely comfortable and their screens are quite nice as well. My favorite part is the building and the horses on it.

Loved it as usual. Always have a good time. Never visit any other theaters anymore. On the other hand, when it comes to service, it takes awhile to get refills of soda and water if you dont order a lot of food. Also, if you have popcorn, make sure you put up order card when you have half a bowl because it takes awhile too.

My granddaughters were so excited to see Frozen 2 today. We have been talking about it all week. My Mom drove in from Reeds Spring to go with us. When we went to buy our tickets we were turned away because one of my granddaughters is 2. This is a Disney movie for little girls, on a Thursday morning. My granddaughters were so disappointed. So we packed the girls back up and drove to Ozark. The Movie was playing at the B@B. Not only were they happy to have my granddaughter, but she got in free. She was well behaved through the whole movie. We bought drinks, candy, and popcorn.From now on we will skip your theater, and go straight to the B@B.

5 star experience, but the competition offers the same quality seating and show rooms for a better price. I suppose the extra money goes towards to 80s and 90s Gen-X theme branding (which I appreciate) and special showings not available at standard theatres (which arent of much value to me). For me, it basically comes down to which shows are playing at which times and Im usually willing to spend a buck more to see a showtime thats convenient for me. Its also one of the only theatres in Springdale offering close to a full menu and alcoholic beverages if you are into that.

Our first and probably last time at the Alamo. Read the great reviews and was surprised by the popcorn and popcorn price($7.50). Seats are amazing, movie was awesome but was served very stale, no salt, requested butter but did not get it popcorn in a metal bowl that we could not eat or send back. We knew the price on the menu, yes, but for that you should get awesome popcorn and take home the leftovers. We look forward to good popcorn when we go to the movies and didnt get it, even the customers to the right of us complained about it.

Loved the availability to choose early midday or evening show time. Recommend arriving early if you plan on eating and drinking. Comfortable reclining seats and service was attentive. Amazing variety of alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages. Food is great, I recommend loaded fries and the fried egg BLT sandwich. Large servings.

Ridiculous new policy. Have to order tickets online AND a minimum order of $10 per person for food/drinks!! Why cant you make buying food/drinks optional??!!

This place is great but our server, Chandler was terrible. Didnt let us in the theater until close to time for the movie to start. Didnt bring out ranch and then when I put up my card up to reorder the ranch and get an ice-cream float it was 25 minutes before he took the card and then another 25 before he brought the order to us. We had already eaten by then and didnt need the ranch. Very disappointing and made it hard to enjoy the movie.

A great place to catch a movie! The popcorn is great and the food is very good. If you drink beer, youll find 40+ craft, foreign, and domestic favorites. Great way to spend time enjoying a movie. Service is great and prompt. Try the Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer, its delicious!

Has the typical movies you can watch everywhere else. The food is about on par for theatre food. The seats are the recliners and nice. Their waiting service is lacking. I have not been back after ordering food and it taking quite some time to get. Some I did not get at all. The popcorn is refillable and in a smaller quantity than any other place I have ever been. In a two hour movie my popcorn was refilled only two times. It was not worth it. I have been here 3 times and have not had a consistent experience yet. I will go elsewhere for movies with my family.

Best. Theater. Ever. Always clean, spacious seating with recliners, discreet in-movie service including traditional movie snacks, but also a full-service bar and restaurant at your seat? Yes, please! The extra couple of dollars is worth it to know you have a reserved seat that wont be covered in spilled soda, popcorn, and old gum. To top it off, they show specialized pre-show content before many movies. For example, before IT Part 2, they had half an hour of material on other versions of IT, the book, and related trivia.

My FAVORITE place to watch movies, second to absolutely none. Ive been here many times, and every time is a luxurious experience with a premium viewing. 100% recommend this place to any movie buff, or those that love movies. I love their no-talking rule.

The staff was excellent and the theatre is beautiful. Drinks are reasonably priced, food is a bit pricey and not incredible. Regardless, I think Alamo Drafthouse curates a great movie going experience.

The quality of food, service and drinks is amazing. I drive a semi truck and only get a few days off a month. This is where I choose to be when I get home. I eat, drink and watch a movie with my feet up in the recliner. The staff is always curtious and attentive. Love this place!!!!!

Very clean always have water at our seats before we arrive. Weve had the chicken artichoke & olive pizza which was fantastic. I usually ask for extra napkins because they usually do not bring enough. ( I like a napkin under my glass of water. ) I like the fact that there is a no cell phone policy during the movie. And the seats are very relaxing and clean.

We have seen numerous movies at the Alamo Drafthouse and it is always a stellar experience. I love being able to pick my own seats. The recliners are comfortable and the theater is clean. The food is always good whether I order a full meal or just a bowl of popcorn (with real butter!). The servers are friendly and helpful. We went for the experience and theres no better way to see a.movie in Springfield.

If youre a movie lover, then you owe it to yourself to experience any movie at the Alamo. With great drinks and great food brought directly to your seat, that even if the film is a bust at least you will still have something great to take away from the experience. The Alamo offers reserved seating so you can buy your seat hours before the film starts and never have to worry about getting a bad spot. Even if you dont the Alamo has somehow found a way to make every spot in the theater a great viewing angle. Its truly the prefect Cinema experience.
