Hi, I love this theater, close to my house and right now really working to keep everything clean and safe. Thank you. I recently came to see War with Grandpa and The Honest Thief. Both enjoyable. I do have one question— I am a member, a senior citizen, and I love being able to see movies in the afternoon. Recently, that doesnt Seem to be happening. I probably will have to cancel my membership if movies continue to be in the evening. Any information concerning this will be appreciated.

Great movie theater! Gotta love the reclining chairs to make watching a movie very comfortable. Very loud though...5 adults was $60+ and to get 2 large popcorn and 4 large drinks was another $40+....if your a family plan to spend $100...but very much worth the experience!!

The theaters are clean and the seats are comfortable. The price of candy, drinks and popcorn is pretty steep, even for a theater. This was our second time here with our five and three year old. It was enjoyable.

Amazing! During these times especially that AMC has found a safe way to bring date night back!!! Made us feel super comfortable with the changes they have made! We had an amazing time because we didnt have to worry! if I was to be picky.... the bathroom could have been cleaner, but it was litterally the last movie of the night so I get it! Truly an amazing end to a wonderful night!

Best normal movie theater in town, reclining seats and an arm rest on bothe sides per seat! Has a full menu for those who want it but has all the best/original fair.

Saw Honest Thief!! It was amazing. Good service and amazing food.

The level of care the management has taken to keep the customers safe is excellent. Social distance standards and hand sanitizing stations are well placed and with the doors being open in all theaters, you can hear the movie you are seeing without the interruption of other movies.

Very expensive. Better bring extra cash for popcorn and soda cause its gonna cost a full days pay to cover just that.

AMC is the best theater in town. Recliners, digital sceeens and imax! Can’t beat them in this area!

My boyfriend and I are apart of the AMC A-list. We see a movie at least once a week! We absolutely love being members. You still earn points towards rewards and the perks are amazing!

IMAX volume was so loud that people were plugging their ears and many parts of dialogue were too distorted to understand. Very bad experience.

Standard Theater Bathrooms need cleaning as do the carpets. AMC Alist is the main reason to go there.

Great theater! The leather recliners and the amazing sound quality are the best reasons to go. The staff are always happy and love to talk about the films. The massive amount of drinks is cool. And I really like seeing 3d movies in the IMAX.

This AMC is very well maintained and taken care of. The staff are very friendly and informative, there is a line for Stub Members with $5 Tuesday tickets for said members. The bathrooms are very clean and so are the theaters. There is no assigned seating, however the chair do recline. Everything is properly labeled and the environment overall is very spacious, the regular theaters are to the left and the IMAX is to the right. Very good looking establishment overall, highly recommend a visit.

Seemingly the only theater in Springfield that allows you to see what seats are available online before purchasing. Large theatre and comfortable reclining seats in stadium seating. Unlimited soda or slush refills! Clean seating and clean restrooms. Enjoyed watching Star Wars IX here.

Well organized safety came first,then entertainment

Its nice. Their AMC rewards app and pass are a good deal. The theaters are nice. It doesnt feel the cleanest always and there are far too many adds and trailers before movies. I went to one the other night, a 6PM showtime. Movie didnt start till 630. Food is pricey. I prefer Alamo.Also, a lady was trying to get in after the doors were locked because she left her phone in the bathroom. Watched a bunch of staff look at her then go huddle in a room out of sight. No clue what that was about.

Every portion of the movie theatre experience front to back here is great. Great staff, good seats and spacing. Good concession options and quality. Good ticket prices. Clean. We are from FL and visit family in springfield a couple times a year and this is by far our favorite theatre.

They had the heat turned off so basically shivered during the whole movie

Love coming here. You can reserve a comfortable seat and Ive never had issues with people talking or using their phones. But maybe thats because I only go to matinees.

I like going to see movies. Im not too happy about how expensive its gotten, but this has been somewhat mitigated by joining the AMC Stubs A-list. I can now see up to 3 movies a week for a monthly fee of about $21. This includes IMAX and 3D movies. There are other perks as well, such as no fee for online seat reservations, a free bucket of popcorn with drink on the month of your birthday, and reward points that go towards store credit.I would prefer that there were still less expensive theaters in business, but this is not as bad as it could be.

Love this theatre! Comfy recliners, BEST POPCORN in 3 counties. And being AMC we can get our seats ahead of time. We drive an hour vs 30min to come to this movie theatre. The few times the bathroom was not clean, I just let them know and they fixed it.Plus the employees seem happy.

My favorite place to go! You definitely get what you pay for here. They have wonderful mango Fanta smoothies and the seats are incredibly comfortable. My hip is damaged so being comfortable is key when I watch a movie.

It was very crowded when we got there, but even with the large crowd the snack line moved quickly. The staff were friendly and polite.The seats were the BOMB; they had a area for disabled and handicaps.The four star is due to a lot and I mean a lot of wasted popcorn was on the floor. There were not enough seats in the waiting area. The place was still nice.

The theatre is great, with the reserved seating, comfortable chairs and all. However there new method for lining people up outside each theatre before the next show starts, makes it really annoying if you bought back row seats. The chatter from the hall causes quite the distraction, which even made it hard to hear the movie a couple of times. The popcorn is great and the ability to fill your own drinks is awesome! I do wish they would bring back $1.00 hot dogs though. The new $5.99 gourmet dogs are good, but a little pricey.

Theater was very lux and modern. Great comfy recling seats, clean, spacious leg room, plenty of room between neighbors. My only complaint is the concessions are too traditional; mostly only the standard popcorn/ nachos/ candy/ junk food affair.

I should say this is a review about the theater and not the movie we saw. We went to see IT Chapter 2 and it was as dark and creepy as you would hope it would be.Actually I think it was darker than the first chapter and maybe, weird to say about the horror genre, darker than it needed to be.Anyway, I am a fan of being able to reserve seats in any theater which gives them a thumbs up. I like that they have comfortable reclining seats in all of the theaters as well. Another thumbs up.Sound and screen quality are better than average. I pushed for IMAX, but my wife isnt a fan, so there.The staff was friendly and the popcorn was tasty, so Id pretty much say they covered the ways a theater should behave to be successful.

Love this place. The only down side to this place is there is no bathroom on the far side of the building. I counted and its nearly 65 steps from the back theater to the bathroom. When you want to get back to the movie fast 130 steps really eats into the movie time.

This theatre is clean and well lit for late night shows and safety in the lot afterwards. Super deals on Tuesdays draw me and the whole family back. Imax is awesome and priced right.

This AMC location is not one with the latest amenities. The credit card readers cant read chips or NFC. Dine in means buy your food and walk into the theater with it.The workers are friendly, though, and easy to talk to. The seats and floor are clean. Restrooms are okay. The lady didnt start cleaning after the movie until I got up to leave.I will probably return.

Went to see 1917, was in theater 2. The film was awesome. Sadly the visual was completely ruined by the fact that the projector convergence was trash. See when you pay for a commercial projector you should at least align the thing! Every shot was blurry and high motion rainbowed like crazy. Watching TV at home would be better. Dont go to this theater if you enjoy a good picture.Every white font was a Technicolor bloom. That is not a good thing.

Clean and very inviting. No kind of discrimination. I saw many cultures and minorities enjoying a good time. We felt welcomed.

The seating is exemplary but other than that there is not much to brag about. Options in the city are limited but the staff here are just rude or at best they seem like they would rather be anywhere else but at their job and have no problem showing this to the patrons. Just sad because the staff really ruin what could be a really nice theatre experience.

Always a great experience. large comfy seats that recline further than other theaters. I have the Stubs pass and can see three movies a week for $20 and I get reward points quickly.

Love using the app and membership. I prebought tickets for Rise of Skywalker 2 weeks before the date. I got the digital, recliner chairs and reserved seats. I paid no fees for buying online and I already have $10 credit to use next time. Loved the movie and had great fun with my family♡

Stale popcorn. Great new movie but yet the theater was very empty. Went to 530 showing. Ill stick with Alamo.

The handicapped seating is very low at the Imax so my neck had to crane up all night.

The quality of the theater is amazing with super wide rows so that if you are in the middle of the row you can get out easily even if the people around you are fully reclined, (and yes theres recliners, its amazing) the only thing that made me a little upset is Iasked for a large water and the total came out to almost $7, they charged me the same price for a large water as a large soda, but other than that the theater is a awesome, clean theater and Ill happily go back any time. Just maybe with my own water bottle

When my wife and I went last night it was the easiest Ive ever experienced seeing movie. There was no line. Buy your ticket online and they scan a QR code from the phone. Then you walk right in and sit in your reserved spot. It was nice especially when the date is a surprise!

Great theater and all, conveniently located downtown. Restrooms were clean, as were the floors but then I went to a matinee so there was way less traffic. My only real gripe is the fact that it cost $8+ for a matinee...ridiculous! So glad I have my Amazon Prime, Hulu and now Disney, wont be back anytime soon!

Very nice theater, love the IMAX... But like other theaters, wish they didnt have 30 minutes of previews before the movie.

This is second on my list of theatres. It has definitely improved, they allow for selected seating now. Concessions are a bit pricier but the ticket is a little cheaper. Doesnt always have the same things as other theatres but if you are on that side of town its nice.I have never done IMAX but they have one, I hear its nice.

Great theater! Love all the reclining seats and that I can buy my tickets from the mobile app and use virtual tickets to get in. No waiting in line. However, I took off a star because every time I get out of a movie here I have a huge headache. The volume is on way too loud. I usually end up covering my ears for a lot of the movie.

We went and saw IT: Chapter 2 and had a blast. The service was prompt, the food delicious, and when I lost my phone in the theater, they were super nice and helpful, double-checking everything and writing down contact info if I needed anything else.It can be pricey, depending on what you get, but frankly, the benefits (no noise, no kids/kids-specific showings, food, drinks, shakes) far out weight the costs (price, maybe a rude server once in a blue moon----but theyre quick to take care of that too!, the movies being almost ridiculously loud).Go at least once!

Cant wear a mask over my nose and when I told them this they were extremely rude and then proceeded to mock me as soon as my back was turned cancelling my rewards and never going back to any amc theater.

My family and I went to the new movie Overcomer by the Kendrick brothers at this theater. The movie was amazing, and I hope the theater management brings more family-friendly, uplifting movies like this one. The staff was friendly and helpful, the theater was clean, and the food offerings, while a little pricey, was good.

One of the best movie theaters I have ever experienced! The concessions are pricey but they have a variety, including their drinks.

Much better. Only issue I had was that the arm rests are a bit worn out and so it took me a few moments to figure out how to sit comfortably.

What an amazing set up!! The electronic recliners, the spacious setting, the diverse menu options. It was a movie goers dream! Plus they have a new program that allows for a monthly subscription to see up to 3 movies a week! Loved the experience!!

No issues gteat place

You better reserve a seat if youre going to watch a new movie here. It is usually quite packed with people. Food and drink prices are pretty standard for movie theaters. I would of rated this at 5 stars if the floors were cleaner but all in all a decent place.

I really love this theater. AMC has been around for a long time. Clean and family friendly. The only thing I wish they would do at this location is change all the seating to reclining. But other than that I guess Im a little picky. But when you sit down nobodys head is in your way. So I will give them that state-of-the-art surround sound too. Enjoy.

The most comfortable place to watch a movie by far!! Reclining seats, air conditioning and armrests that are big enough to share! They reserve seats at purchase which is great. Now i dont have to be there an hour early just to get a good seat!

I called and spoke to the manager about a large amount of trash I their parking lot. He was polite and friendly and within 15 minutes I saw that he had sent 4 employees out to remedy the problem immediately, which I greatly appreciated!

Love the option to skip the ticket booth, but its very confusing the first time you go. No one is around to help either. But its a clean, comfortable theater.

Charging me $40 after canceling my 30 day free trial of AMC AList before the auto renewal billing date. I called them and spoke to a supervisor. He refused to refund the $40 or cancel my membership. I will never go back to AMC. I will go the the Alamo Drafthouse for all of my future purchases and viewings. Stay away. Scam. Just was to charge you for a membership. Misleading. Contacting the BBB.

Great theatre with all reclining chairs and ample space. Love having the option to choose your own seats when buying online. Concessions are a little too self service in a crowded area. For the price, it would be a lot nicer if they poured your drink rather than handing you a cup. If you dont have someone with you to hold popcorn, this can become a tricky balancing act!

My second favorite theater in Springfield, and honestly where I go to see most of my movies. Springfield 11 has a little bit of clout around here for being the first theater to implement recliners into its theaters. It also has the only IMAX in the city. If your an IMAX fan, stop reading this review and just go see a showing, you wont be disappointed.People often complain about the snack prices here but honestly they arent as bad as some other theaters are, such as the Hollywood. Their sound system is perhaps the best and will really draw you into the experience.
