Great intermediate trail to ride. This area is not the most well know but great for shorter rides.

I actually really enjoyed this trail. Many sites...small rock formation you can see...we were also able to see house from far away while still being deep in the trail after a while. We even walked behind and close to the restaurant mariposa. We did have to be careful to follow the trail as I did confuse one path as the actual trail but wasnt.

Nice large parking lot with restrooms and access to several popular trails. Even several areas to expand parking on busy days.Road in is a bit rough, but saw mini vans and small cars make it no problem. Dont park in the first area where its crowded and easy to block the road for others to get through to the real trailhead.

Great place if you want to be away from everyone and everything. You have to hike 15 minutes to get away from traffic noise, but after that its beautiful. There is lots of shade, so you can go just about any time. Warning...there is only parking for 6 or so cars.

Are great 1.8 mile loop is available for the casual Sedona visitor. Take CRUSTY to GRAND CENTRAL, then COYOTE and return via ADOBE JACK. If you do the loop in this sequence you will only be facing the Sun for the CRUSTY part and for the remainder of your hike the sun will be at your side or back. The walk is about 80% shady [mid AUG @ 6:30 am] and is a cool walk through a forest grove. If you wish, you can double your walk by continuing on Grand Central [skip the Manzanita trail unless you want to abort half of this upper loop]. Be careful if it has rained previous day since trail crosses and uses many washes that could be full on water.

Lovely trail that connects to many other smaller trails. Rocky, and flat in several areas. There are a lot of mountain bikers and hikers so its a perfect dual purpose trail. Its a good location as well being so close to downtown and almost in the heart of sedona. You have lovely views of the surrounding mountains.

We got a recommendation and directions from Over The Edge bike shop in Sedona. It was great advice! Adobe Jack is the beginning of a great network of trails that can entertain riders with various skill levels. If you want a challenge or just want to get peddling, theres something for you. Its right up the street from Over The Edge bike shop. I met some nice people, too.

Beautiful trail. Not a lot of parking, so best to get there outside of peak hours. The trails are relatively easy for beginners, although of course you still want to have proper footwear- lots of rocks and loose footing that, though not difficult to traverse, is not ideal for open toed shoes. The trails have beautiful views, and I definitely recommend bringing a camera!

We really love this Trail. I would consider it easy to moderate. Along parts of the trail including the beginning, you will hear plenty of traffic noise and be in view of homes and businesses. Soon after the beginning of the trail though it will become peaceful and quiet and much of the time youll have a trail to yourself. The views are beautiful, and we also loved the pine trees. We also really enjoyed the walk because its not too long and it took us about an hour and a half. Its also a very popular trail with mountain bikers, so youll have to watch out for those while youre on your hike.

Fun hike! We chose the shortest route (about 1.8 miles) and took our dogs. Perfect length of trail, you go up and down, so you get to see the views from up high and see the cool rock bottoms of creek beds. The trailhead is well maintained and easy to find. We will do this again.

The Adobe Jack trail head offers access to a number of trails for biking or hiking. The trails include Adobe Jack, Javelina, Grand Central, Coyote, Power Line Plunge and Crusty. You can follow these trails to hike or bike a nice loop with various levels of difficulty. For a longer trek you can connect via these trails to the Jordan trail. The scenery is great with views of Thunder mountain, Wilson Mountain and great red rock all around.
