The trail head is well maintained. $5.00 for day parking. Do have a usable rest room. It is a beautiful trail to hike.

Long trail but worth every minute. I enjoyed this trek with my family and recommend it to anyone that wants to take an easy stroll among beautiful scenery.

Several options on this trail. Bell Rock pathway, Chicken point, or Llama trail. Chicken point is most popular and crowded. Good views of Twin Buttes, The Nuns, Bell Rock and Baby Bell. Distant view of Cathedral Rock.

Its Sedona. What else can you say. Beauty everywhere. Took a 4 hour loop route. Not crowded at all. Few bikers. Well marked.

Beautiful trail and even more during the pandemic - almost no hikers, and the flowers were closer, as well as the shrubs and even cacti. It seems the plants are taking back the trail now that there is less people and bikes around. The view from Chicken Point is amazing.

Sedona is amazing. This should be taken as a comment for the entire place.

One of the easiest trails that kids can enjoy enough! Recommend for families.

Beautiful hike, fabulous views, not too difficult for a senior like me. Only downside is you have to be aware of mountain bikers. The ones we ran across were very courteous.

The trail head had plenty of space for parking, downloading bikes or horses and even a few picnic tables in case you want to sit down and eat. Standard pit toilets, handicap parking and informative mapping make you feel ok about the $5 daily parking fee (you can pay with credit card when you arrive).The hike up to Chicken point is easy/moderate and great views along the way with the pay off at the top when you end up with 360 degrees of eye candy in this amazing landscape.

There are many trails in Sedona but this is one of the best.

I loved this trail, as soon as you are in Sedona this trail is one of the first ones and is easy hike, I found beautiful flowers, some that I never seen before, my best experience in this trail. And you can never go wrong with Sedona any trail is worth it️

Are you kidding??? Been living in phoenix for two years. Here from Wisconsin originally. Never seen a mountain up close. Absolutely breathtaking. Tons of branching paths and cool stuff to discover!

Great trail. Had no problem parking. The first bit was a bit boring along a dirt road but then it started winding up the mountain. Nice vistas around every corner. We saw a few mountain bikes but had no issues. Had some parts that were a bit steep but not too hard. View at the end was great.

We took chapel trail to little horse up to chicken point. The view was phenomenal for the little work I felt I put in.

Great trail, easy and kid friendly, go to the creek and walk down it for a fun, different type of hike.

Every direction you turned was beautiful views. Only thing I didnt like is the path didnt go away from the main road cars driving by.

So pretty, nice views everywhere, art and beautiful natural masterpiece we call Arizona.

Beautiful Place

Classic Sedona! Lots of hikers but bike friendly, with connecting trails to Submarine Rock and around Twin Buttes. Seems this area is right in the middle of where everyone wants to go so if youre looking to avoid tourist hikers and jeep tours this is not for you.

Be prepared to bounce A LOT!! We did jeep tour

It is a very nice trail and not very difficult for a person with modest hiking capabilities. It is not good for anyone with walking difficulties or breathing trouble. I recommend you wear comfortable stable shoes, dont wear sandals.

Great scenery. Busy spot but not over crowded. Trails are great, not overly difficult.

Excellent hike. It is not too long and, when we did it, in the spring, the temperatures were tolerable and the hike was very pleasant. The views are spectacular – particularly at evening - although you don’t want to be on the trail at night. It is a good day trip and enjoyable - even for beginner hikers.

Nice easy hike, connects to lots of other trails. Went early on a Friday 730am and there was plenty of parking. One vault toilet. Nice view at the end.

Favorite trail by far. Very worth the walk up to chicken point! On the side of easy-moderate for most of the trail with a small climb at the end. But even thats a slight climb with one small area that could be hard for some. I typically spend a little under 2 hours for the hike there/back and a rest at the top.

Vortex activity is very real! If you suffer from motion sickness and are able to use pressure wristbands to alleviate it rather than taking dramamine I recommend doing so.

Beautiful! Actually all of Arizona is beautiful, you cant go wrong visiting this place, and of course, take some pictures!

Great trail, little challenging if you go the wrong way, use Trail Forks for proper tips.

A scenic area that was nice to visit, I found that other hikers were friendly. Conversations were informative, but for those who dont want to visit that was perfectly acceptable too. Guide posts and trail markers were adequate. This is a very nice place.

Great little trail and was excactly what I thought I would experience from Arizona. Popular trail, arrived early to ensure we had parking. Plenty of hikers and Mountain Bikers. Butted up to Broken Arrow where there were folks doing a Jeep Tour. Great first Hike for Sedona

Make sure to take plenty of water. Beautiful. Be sure to get a pic of the horse head on the side of the mountain, in rock formation

Visited in late February. Had a very nice light hike through this trail. Great for those that wish to get out and do something outside but are limited physically.
