Probably one of my favorite parts in Arizona... Just beautiful. Especially during the fall with all the colors and leaves falling everywhere. Great place to brings the kids too and plenty of places to get in the creek!

We ended up at Red Rock Crossing at Crescent Moon after a last-minute change of plans. It was a great decision! We had to wait a few minutes to park but that was nothing compared to 90+ minutes at another park near Sedona. The short walk to the creek was easy for my two young kids, and plenty of shady spots to have our picnic. The swimming spot we went to was fairly quiet, with plenty of shallow areas for the kids. The water was also much warmer than other sites upstream (like Grasshopper Point). And final bonus: clean bathrooms.

This comes up as one of the hidden gems in Google Maps. Its part of a National Park. Not as crowded as Slide Rock and its just as fun. If you have family and just want to chill out. Its a good place to visit. When we visited, gates close at 6:30 to come in. You can come out later at night.

Beautiful park with the backside of Cathedral Rock as the backdrop. Summertime has dried out the grass area and the picnic areas taped off for social distancing at the time of visit. Short walk to get to Oak Creek and Buddha Beach which I feel are the main attractions. Mostly shaded hike with beautiful scenery all along the creek.

Accidentally got here. It is a state park, so national park pass can’t be used. There are several picnic tables. And, there is nice red color rock mountain and small pond you can swim. Be careful that there is no wireless signal

This is the best place to see Cathedral Rock before sunset. There is a fee, unlike most places to hike and explore in Sedona. The trail is beautiful and there are a lot of places to sit by the creek or go swimming. The park can fill up quickly. Some days you wait in line outside the park until a parking spot is available. Other days its nearly empty.

One of my favorite places in Sedona! The entrance fee is $11 but I think its well worth it. You can spend the entire day here, and there are so many different areas to swim or gaze at the beautiful scenery or hang out. It is right beneath cathedral rock so the views are breathtaking. There are picnic tables and grills galore. Very nice facilities if you need to use the restroom. Trash and recycling receptacles everywhere too. The rangers are always cheerful and helpful, and there are many trails of all difficulty levels to explore the area. There are various swim spots, and the water is always clear and nice. Family friendly, couple friendly, and dog friendly! My dog absolutely loves swimming here, and lots of other friendly dogs visit often so its great for everyone. The nature is just gorgeous, its so peaceful and clean and the people that come here really seem to respect the land. Highly recommend visiting, youll have an awesome time!

Just the peace and rejuvenated feeling you have when you head back home after a day here. Water is not as cold as you think, as a family we always have a blast. The hidden trails make for some fun adventures. Just make sure you get there early for parking or alternatively waiting for 4-5pm when people start leaving.

Loved it! Cheap to get in, plenty of parking, outhouse to use if needed and fresh running water to wash up or drink. We hiked to the swimming hole (about a half mile or so?) We passed big rocks, other swimming holes, a small rock beach etc. It was worth the hike in to relax for a few hours. Water was freezing but fun!! We went with a person who didnt walk well but with the short length of the hike and a slow pace, we made it! There is not a solid walking path here so I wouldnt recommend visiting with wheelchair or walker, but a limited walker could definitely still enjoy the park. View from parking area is surreal too!

Thursday was much slowy than Friday. Not a lot of room for sitting by then banks. The rock looked like a better spot. I was carrying a baby so maneuvering over the rocks in the water was really hard. Great spots for picnics away from the water but gross bathrooms. My boyfriend caught to small bass and catfish. The water is freezing at first but it ends up amazing. Theres beautiful views and trails you can walk that arent a far drive. Ill be coming back and bringing friends.

This place was worth stopping at. You can walk in ankle deep water across the rocks. Water is a little chilly. Some rocks are dry and u can sit down & relax. Some people looked like they were asleep even. Very nice relaxing spot. Mostly shaded, which is nice. It was a great place to bring small kids bc most of the water isnt deep at all. Was a fee to enter the park. Would return if ever in the area again.

Excellent little spot to take in the views of Cathedral rock and go for a little hike. Has restrooms and picnic spots as well as large open are for the kids or family to play. Hike a bit and find all sorts of fun stuff and excellent areas to dip your feet in the water and relax. Bring lots of water in the summer. Even though its cooler than Phoenix its still hot and you dehydrate quickly.

We always stop at Cresent Moon Ranch on our Sedona visit! For $10 entry fee you can enjoy the day by the creek and can almost always find a secluded spot to sit picnic and relax for a few hours or the whole day. Parking is always accessible and the are enough bathrooms to accommodate everyone. Fron the parking to the actual water is about 30 feet of straight walking and the photo ops are undeniable. You see cathedral rock as the first backdrop and it gets better and better from there. If you walk amor a mile in following the river youll run into buddah beach were people say the energy and vortex is amply felt. Youll know youre the because of the many stone towers people like to build there. A fit further and youll see the red rock crossing and if you stay to sunset youll get a pretty special view of Cathersral rock reflecting off the water.

Perfect spot to spend a hot summer day. Try to reach early like at 7-8. Park opens at 9. On weekends there is huge shortage for parking. Bring lots of water food and a camp house if you have. Water is cold even in hot summers so be prepared. Bring some light chairs also to sit in water. Rocks are very slippery so appropriate footwear is necessary. For kids there are small Lanes of water also. You can try to catch fish in water. There were lots of them when we went there.

The view of cathedral rock is distant and not that great. This publicized photographic area talked about is next to an ocupied home. In order to get a better view you need to cross oak creek so prepare to get wet.The other great vortex area along oak creek is just okay. When compared to most of Sedona there is not as much to see here and the best asset is the picnic table areas. The area is heavily wooded so there is plenty of shade. Was amazed that its rated so high as there are way more beautiful areas around Sedona.
