Beautiful location. Great views.. Unit very nice. Got a 1 bedroom. Full kitchen with washer and dryer. Only drawback was the internet connection that went in and out. My husband had a Zoom meeting where he lost the connection at least 10 times. ...which is the reason I gave this a 4 star.

Beautiful property and amenities. Unfortunately, the check-in process and wait time was very long and you always have the timeshare sales pitch. The manager worked with us to change a credit to suit our needs and they left a beautiful basket for our anniversary which was a pleasant surprise.

Stayed here in mid July 2020. Great place to stay at! Spacious suites. Arrived, checked in with no trouble at all. Parking was very easy to find and there isn’t too crowded. Room was as pictured, and even better in person. Included a fully loaded kitchen, lol there was even a cheese grater. The bed was super comfortable and my daughter loved her lil spot on the sofa. Restroom was very spacious, enough room for extracurricular activities (Step Brothers ) it was quiet in the room we stayed in which was adjoined with another room, but never heard a peep from anyone. Didn’t check out the pool due to being cautious over COVID-19. Also Check out is at 10, which was perfect for us. Overall, 10/10.

Intro to the resort was painful. At the VIP counter the lady would not take no for an answer in regard to scheduling an update. Ended up giving her my number so she could call on Saturday just so I could get away. The resort itself is nice. Not my first choice since I prefer Los Abrigados but still nice. The activity center staff member was very nice and helpful and there are a good number of fun activities that can be done at the activity center or online and the prices were reasonable.

If you want to experience the area and stay where you have a great view this is the place. Excellent updated suites with all you need inside. The pools are great and the hot infinity pool near bldg 25 is spectacular. The view is unobstructed. So buildings 22 23 24 25 have the best views in my opinion. The golf course is top notch with fantastic scenery. We rented a can am 4x4 and cruised dry creek road and Schnebly hill road. You will get dusty. They have great BBQ areas with gas grills. The staff is very nice.

Hey. This is very nice hotel with couple of pools and hot tubs. The rooms are spacious with small kitchen and bathroom close to the uptown. The beds are very comfortable. Definitely will back here.

Yeah this place is great in scenery however, the fireplace is fake doesnt even give off heat, body towels are trash lint from towels goes into the air, kitchen utensils are only 1 of everything like 1 pot, 1 sauce pan, 1 oven pans, etc... No toilet plunger AND FINALLY, terrible checking in experience. 4:00pm check in? More like 6:00pm check in. Smh. Anyways, great scenery but, okay experience.

Its beautiful and the room was very nice. For 2 couples the 2 bedroom had plenty of space, and accomodations. It was clean. The location was good. I didnt give it 5 stars because we didnt find an opportunity to participate in their activities or to use the swimming pool, so I dont know how those things are. I would definitely go back, and recommend it to my friends. Hopefully, next time I will have the full experience and add in that extra star.

Went here on our honeymoon. We got a studio and it was great. Enjoyed the cleanness as well as the service we received. Love how there are three pool areas we can go and enjoy. It is away from the main town so its quite. Which in sedona its not loud or anything. There is even a trail to go to behind the resort you can do without going far.

Spent 4 days here for a wedding and had a great time. The property must be super sound proof because we sang into the wee hours of the night and no one complained. Comfortable beds and beautiful views. I would definitely stay again.

Landscaping done nicely, towels were soft and clean, no bugs, and the furnishings in the rooms were likely once upscale, but the room was dirty and had several things broken; closet wouldnt open, toilet ran, fridge didnt keep my groceries cold, stains on the carpet and every surface was dusty. There were dumpsters and RVs blocking the entrances as well. I will likely not be coming back.

The room was nice and clean. However, thats all this place really has going for it. I have Verizon and service is really poor unless you go down the road into town. There is no WiFi! What century are we in? I know this sounds like first world problems, but I do need internet for school and its a pain to go to the lobby just to go submit a paper. I feel like I probably shouldve spent my money elsewhere than at this resort.

Upon arrival, the room was filthy. There were old grapes in the freezer, a dead cockroach in the bathroom and dirt covering the floors. They sent housekeeping to clean the room. I was assured by the front desk they would be wearing gloves. However, the housekeeper did not wash her hands nor was she wearing gloves. In addition, she put dirty towels on our kitchen counter. I had to re-disinfect every single thing she touched.I was finally able to trap a cockroach once one flipped upside down and couldn’t get back up. I brought a picture of it to the front desk. The person at the front desk did not seem surprised. I requested for a facilities manager to contact me, and to my knowledge we were never contacted. However, due to poor cell phone service, I will give them the benefit of the doubt that the call wouldn’t go through. They did appear to thoroughly clean our room after my picture of the cockroach.When checking out I was asked how our stay was and I mentioned again the cockroach issue. The man responded, “well, yanno, when it gets cold out they look for somewhere warm to go.” Again, he didn’t seem remotely surprised.If you care about your health and safety, I wouldn’t stay here due to the clear lack of proper disinfection and the cockroach problem.

I encourage future guests to do 2 things : READ the past reviews before you book (they’re all within 30 days -I wish I had) I canlive with “ dated/ old” properties ( I travel often) but service- kinda expected for their high pricing model- READ the small print on their website ️️- when I inquired about their resort fee that isn’t disclosed at time of booking - response:” it’s a 3rd party & it’s discloses on our website “- when I asked about what this this inclusive resort fee included -Response : ice machine, WiFi - pool- & an activity schedule -? The WiFi doesn’t work - fitness room is closed - yes I had ice & access to swim -all hotels offer Ice & pool- and Though here for pleasure - I had to connect with my employer & when I inquired again about the WiFi - Response : “the WiFi is down often & the phones -it’s just how it is- it’s been that way for years?”- I was accepting of the lack of amenities with this fee & the fact that its clearly a money grab - when I asked for a solution ? They said - “ no thing can be offered “? --which is NOT true - I did my own due diligence & found out they have other properties in the area -why didn’t they offer a solution - IE :move to another property ? Maybe that’s not possible- they just said “ no”- I knew the booking was non-refundable or I’d have checked out the day I arrived -These are difficult times for all but some kind remarks & offering a solution shouldn’t be so much of a reach - when you pay these prices - very disappointing experience overall - positive ? the guest laundry room is complimentary -

This was a beautiful place to stay the sunrise and and sunsets were beautiful, the comfort of the beds, room and Roman tubs was top notch. There is also the convenience of having the grill areas. Outside of our room we found the pools, life size checker board and playground. To top it off there was also a bocce ball area. So much fun for the family!! Will be back soon. If you drive a bit more north you will find so many places to stop for hiking or a camp day.

Our biggest issue was the 15$ daily fee. When we arrived, the girl said it was to cover cleaning, wifi, and coffee. Let me just say i’ve NEVER had worse coffee & wifi connection. I couldn’t even make a simple Google search without going into town and the property is a bit out of town so there’s no cell service either. The coffee is poor quality out of old pots, powdered creamer. You’d think for 15 bucks a day they could spare k-cup machines or at least decent coffee and real creamer. And they didn’t clean our room during our stay. This might be a covid thing which is fine, but other hotels would at least leave more towels, soap, and coffee products outside the rooms. This all just felt very negligent. We addressed these issues upon checkout and the lady didn’t show an ounce of remorse or apologize and snapped back that it was a timeshare property and non members had to pay a fee. Which... wasn’t mentioned in the property details nor was mentioned when we checked in. We talked to three girls up front during our stay, all were rude to us but friendly to the older guests. My boyfriend and I are in our early twenties but we travel so much, you’d think they’d be nicer to younger guests who have their whole lives to travel. Will not be staying at ANY diamond branded resorts from here on out.

My mom and I were able to stay here recently. The staff is very friendly and anything that we asked, they were able to accommodate. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The air works great, which is super important when staying in the desert. The only issue I had was we had a few bugs, but it was not a huge problem. If you were to come during the winter months, they have a working fireplace. Overall, my stay was enjoyable and I would come back again and again!

We booked this resort for a 3 day vacation, mainly for the view, infinity hot tub, fitness center and whirlpool in room. When we got on site we found out the fitness center was closed, and whirlpools are not in every room as it is perceived on Hotels.com. Service was really good, rooms were nice, great for long term stays, but disappointed in the fitness center being closed as that was one of the main reasons we booked. Plenty of pools and hot tubs so that was nice. View is great. Need to clarify that most rooms just have showers though. Two of the main reasons for booking here ended up being duds.

The resort itself was nice but they have people at the front that are not informed of what is going on and it affected our vacation. We asked two different people about whether the gym was open yet due to covid. Two different people said it was open (The person on the phone when we called and The person that checked us in). When I went to use the gym the following day after check-in, a different person who had to go ask the manager because they werent sure either said nope its closed. May not seem like much but the gym is important to me in deciding where we were going to stay and two of their people had misinformed us. not to mention that the other places we had stayed during the week all had their gym open. For a resort this size and for how nice it is, they really need to understand the important of correct information going to the customer. I could probably recommend at least three better places to stay in Sedona. Or hopefully now their people are trained better. The toilet and the patio door were also broken in our rooms... Which wasnt as big of a deal as the communication for us.

Beautiful grounds. Very well maintained landscaping. Pools are pretty decent. We did not check out the other ammentities, such as the rec or activity centers, but the playground equipment looked amazing. Only a few years old if that. The internet however is ABSOLUTELY AWEFUL. For such a nice place, Im surprised Diamond allows thier guests to be so heavily inconvenienced. The router signal was strong, but there is either no internet (about 40% of the time) authentication errors prevent connecting (20% of the time) or the speed is downright pitiful and is hardly capable of even allowing light web browsing (35% of the time). I would have rated one star higher if the internet existed in this place.

Beautiful and updated. Comfortable beds. We had a two bedroom/ two bathroom ADA room. Nice patio. Full kitchen and livingroom with washer/ dryer and big bathrooms and tubs/ showers. Lots of pools and jacuzzis.

Check in was easy. Concierge was a little rude, and not very attentive. We were told we would receive a discount app for our stay, and never received it, even though we asked 3 times. Rooms are spacious but nothing special. Not a lot to do at the resort, except swim and kids activities. Positive the views are beautiful!

Feels like a home away from home. Everything you need just bring your food and personal stuff. The rooms are clean and roomy, staff is friendly and accommodating, and the pools and play ground are great. I never made it to the hammock area so I will have to try that next time.

As an owner with Diamond, I’ve stayed at this property many times over the past five years or so. For the most part, our stays have been enjoyable. Our last stay—not so much!After leaving to shop at the local market, we were shocked to find a family inside our room. They sheepishly exited apologizing for the obvious mistake. I immediately called the front desk and spoke to “Lupita” who apologized and said she would find out what happened. I told her I wasn’t interested in knowing what happened...I wanted to know what they were going to do about it. I told her I was concerned for our safety...not from the intruders themselves, but the possible COVID-19 they could have brought in. I asked our room be sanitized at once. She said she would have manager call. Minutes later, “Katie” called back with apologies up and down. I told her I was concerned with COVID-19 and wanted our room sanitized. She apologized.If you are concerned with your health and safety, you might want to consider another property.

After staying at nearly every place in Sedona, I would have to say that the Summit is my absolute favorite place to stay. It is family friendly, has activities, is close to some good trails, and has 4 pools! The rooms also have full kitchens, which makes it easy to feed a bunch of kids too. Definitely recommend!

It’s okay, I loved the room minus the bathroom door not being able to close. I mean really? I shut it once and panicked I thought I wouldn’t be able to open it again. From then on it stayed open. The room was clean and simple. The staff however was less than pleasant. The power went out at 7 am one morning and when I got dressed and walked all the way into the lobby they decided to ignore me while continuing to answer phone calls right in front of me. They gave me no information and when I asked for staff names to leave a better review I was told none of them actually worked at the front desk and they didn’t give me any names. Apparently they cannot and will not do any form of compensation for power outages either. So the fact that I paid more for an apartment to cook breakfast means nothing to them. They couldn’t even offer a breakfast voucher or something! No power, no breakfast and no service. This place when from a favorite to a least favorite just like that. All they needed was a touch of customer service but they already got the money so they don’t care anymore.

I loved this place! It had everything we needed. A little kitchen, dishwasher, comfortable bed, mini patio...it met all of our needs and was beautiful. It has several pools and Jacuzzis. We had the jacuzzi near our room to ourselves. I would definitely stay here again.

I am a Diamond resorts sampler package holder. I booked my stay months prior to my arrival and made sure to remind multiple representatives that I am coming for my birthday celebration. They put a note on my reservation with a room with a view on the second floor request. When checking in, they completely ignored my occasion with requests and still gave me a very corner room on the first floor facing a wall. When asked a manager to change the room, she stated they are overbooked (during pandemic on a Monday night) and did not move a finger to make my stay better. This shows one more time how Diamond treats their owners and prospective owners. I am required to attend a presentation and will not be buying in even if they offer it to me for free.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite for a night. The room has washer, dryer, full kitchen, DVD player and a balcony (view depends on location) there is heated pools throughout the place, the 6 hole golf sucks. Theres horseshoe located in a weird area. The spa in not in this location, its in a different resort in Sedona. Overall, the place is beautiful, great for long time stay. The concierge Mindy Monk was very helpful.

This is an actual resort. It is an apartment, not a hotel. Everything is provided in the kitchen, bathroom, etc ;. Its pet friendly, i brought my dog with me.For the money, it is a great deal. I love Sedona, and will be back.The only gripe I would have, is the bed was just slightly too firm for me, but not that bad. I have a bad back from military service. BUT the pillows made up.for that.Totally recommend, staff was super nice, and concierge will get you some great deals tonhave fun around town.

Facility was well maintained but accommodations lacked adequate connectivity, extremely slow wifi an NO SECURITY on their system. This was compounded by poor cellular service in the area. There are much better options for your Arizona experience.

It was a nice place to stay with several pools available, some nice grills available for use, a fitness center, and an activity center with several classes offered. The area is beautiful! We enjoyed our stay.

Too many people limited enjoyment of amenities. It is quite clear the ownership is interested in income over health of guests and therefore, the community at large. There were signs encouraging social distancing, but very few people read/obey signs; this is a known truth. It would have been superior to limit # of guests on property in addition to any impotent signage. I realize this is a time-share property business model that obligates all parties to perform and denial of services is not an option...in normal times. On top of this, keys didnt work and there were insect/skunk/cat problems. The keys were fixed very quickly. The bugs/animals are part of environment but simple measures to repel them from guest areas wouldve been appreciated as well as quite easy. Nice enough place and easy access off 89A. So glad this was my last stay before out of time-share forever.

Our room had both live and dead cockroaches. WiFi was absurdly slow, to the point of uselessness. 0.38 Mbps was the max speed I was able to get.Spacious condo was in overall decent shape. The bathroom was several years outdated but still in good condition. Great amenities for families such as many pools, splash pad, outdoor games, etc.If it weren’t for the cockroaches and WiFi issues this would have been a glowing review for me. The roaches and lack of WiFi would be expected at a cheap motel, but should absolutely not be a problem at a 3.5 Star Hotel Resort.

This place has terrible customer service. Checked in on the 30th of October, found bed bugs in my reservation. I checked out the very same night and requested a full refund. Called the 2nd of November and they told me I had checked out on the 1st and that there was no record of a bedbug infestation.The employee I checked out with did not check me out nor did he report the bed bug I showed him. After multiple rounds of calling, I was forced to make a Credit Card dispute.I have geo-location evidence, their cameras show me leaving and despite that, they hide behind their red tape to make it as painful as possible for you to receive what is rightfully deserved.STAY AWAY

Visited a friend and the accommodation was very nice. Lots of good energy around the grounds.

As far as location goes, this resort is perfect. Our rooms were exactly what we hoped for and the patio attatched to each offered a great space to sit in the mornings and evenings and watch the sun set. Because we enjoyed the place itself so much we had hoped for better customer service.Initially we were told we could check in at 3, a concern of ours because we were driving for hours with two infants to get here, however upon arrival we were notified they dont allow check in until 4. We didnt get in until almost half an hour past four, meaning that the babies had been in the car for about six and a half hours at that point.While there were a few members of the staff who really seemed to care about making our stay as great as it could be, some members didnt seem like they were obliged to help us or offer any general courtesy with simple questions. When we showed up at the appropriate time (15 minutes early) for an activity, we were told by another member of staff that the director for that activity didnt even show up yesterday and that we should go back to our rooms and call again at the time it was supposed to start to see if she was there. This wasnt terrible, however she spoke to us in a manner of repeatedly pounding her fist into her hand? This was frustrating, especially since we had woken up early to go to yoga and relax and not to be threatened with a straight up fist to the hand motion.Overall, we have enjoyed our stay here. At times it feels as though most employees assume because they work in such a nice place that they dont have to offer common courtesy to their residents (silly things like requesting more toilet paper and being met with an attitude by the employee who brought it, only offering one roll of tp at a time). It was disappointing to see that the customer service here was not up to par with the location and beauty of the resort itself. Its important to remember that this service is even more important than the place you stay, and is definitely something I will take into consideration the next time I am in Sedona.

We never had the opportunity to actually stay at the resort due to a direct exposure contact with COVID. I am writing this review because reservation team was extremely unprofessional in handling the situation. It has been one month since we were supposed to stay and on multiple occasions have contacted their property with promised calls back from supervisors and have not received them. I was told by the first gentleman that my money could be refunded but I would have to go through the third party I booed with. When the third party requested they denied. They have promised to listen to the call and get back to me and am still waiting for that. We had two room booked. I would never ever ever use this resort again nor use any of diamond resort properties. Reservation team needs a massive over haul. This was the only place that I had any issue with as I was last minute changing trip plans due to exposure. Everyone else was super accommodating and professional.

Always an easy check in. Everytime we stay here it is always clean! Sedona Summit is always our first choice when coming to sedona. They have little playgrounds for kids. Pools and other fun areas.

Positive: Spacious room, views, location Negative: Staff, not friendly, didnt seem like they wanted to help you. Some dont even greet you, and when they do its not politely.

Negative: Be aware at checkin they put a $200 hold on credit/debit card until checkout this is at least three times more than other hotels. This is a time share resort and they will try to see you.

Great floor plan and accommodations. Issues were musty smell in bathroom from apparent leak behind wall and lack of routine maintenance and thorough upkeep/cleaning (like vent grates, etc.). Day to day surface cleaning was excellent though. Office staff and facility is very nice.

Pros-Overall the unit was very nice and spacious. Great price point for the area. The reception staff was friendly and polite. The grounds are very well maintained and it is in a great location that is close to many trails and hiking.Cons-The unit I stayed in could have use a bit of maintenance. The glass shower door was stuck and the coffee maker didnt work.All that being said, I would definitely stay here again. If I had been staying for a longer period of time I would have reached out to the management to get the issues resolved. Since we were only here for 3 days I didnt feel like it was necessary to go through the trouble.All in all the minor issues were not enough to sway my overall opinion to the negative......and no, i am not a timeshare owner. I am a seasoned traveler who found the resort via Google & Trip Advisor.

Have stayed here 3x before but had a poor experience this time. Spent 30 minutes the first night tracking down and killing 2 cockroaches that were in the room. In the days of Covid it is disturbing that the rooms have cockroaches in them. Also management has made no adjustments to room cleaning offering only every 4 days with trash piling up in front of peoples doors. When I talked to the front desk I received an Im sorry to hear that and asked if I wanted a timeshare presentation.

I have now stayed at the Sedona Summit Resort twice in the past 6 weeks and I really enjoyed staying at this property. The one-bedroom condo is very nice and quite comfortable. Perfect for the long weekend trips I did. Fully equipped kitchens and just perfect for my needs. Huge bathroom. Nice bedroom. For people who want to grill, they have plenty outdoor grills available. And very nice patios, which are perfect for Arizona evenings. The single complaint I have (and only reason I am not giving it 5 stars) is there WiFi service is horrible, the worst I have encountered anywhere when traveling. Both trips were work/play trips and we had to go to Starbucks and sit in the car to do 2 video conference calls. I know the resort is working on fixing this issue and this is a big project they are currently undertaking but WiFi service, especially during this pandemic is REALLY important. In hotels and condos for travel, its a must-have not a nice-to-have. Fixing this issue sooner rather than later is vital. Other than this one issue, I really like this property!

We are diamond resort members and we just love this location. Secluded, quiet. Beautiful pools. The units are well appointed, clean but some ground level units are a bit dark Inside (not much natural light)Lots of activities and you can also rent DVD’s. The one bedroom and 2 bedrooms are very large. You do need a car to get around and to buy food.

It was a wonderful resort. I want to go next.

We have been here many time, we always been happy. This time it did not meet our expectation, the room was dusty, smell so old... there was something in the room that caused allergy to my husband. Something is changed.

Sedona Summit was great!! They call their rooms 1 or 2 bedrooms, but what they really are is a group of condos. The layout in the condos are great. They have beautiful bathrooms, kitchen and also have washer & dryer in the condo. They are very accommodating.I needed a large pan, to cook in our kitchen and had a variety of different requests during our 2 week stay and they always accommodated us. I needed additional laundry and dish detergent and they brought those too.

Positive: The size of the units and the amenities

The pool next to the building was amazing, each building seems to have its own pool so, never crowded. The room was also awesome, the tile, tv set on a wall that doesnt have neighbors, shower!! Had three smoking neighbors, two smoked marijuana constantly which made it a stench nightmare on a daily basis. The Wi-Fi is slow and unreliable, not many amenities besides the pool and a playground.

Check in was quick as well as check out. Our 2 bed room was huge. I would stay here again and would recommended staying here. I didnt get to check out the rec room or pools. Great for families.

The resort is great but dont go on a timeshare presentation.
