I Love this place. It has it all. A beautiful lake, large grass area, a childrens’ playground, a small forest and a dedicated dog space. We did several video workouts there. It was the perfect place for that. with the views of the lake and the dogs playing. A jewel of SLO!

I absolutely loved it. Lots of room for the dogs to run. Unfortunately they do not have a small dog area but with all that room it was no problem.

My dogs love the dog park. Theres hiking trails around, too.

Great big space and plenty of room. Stay at the dog park or go hiking and explore.

Always a fun and safe place to take your dog. Plus the view isnt bad at all.

Mostly good, but it’s only fenced on 1 side. So if you have a dog that likes to take off for no reason, this maybe isn’t the best option. Good trees, nice breeze, large area, and convenient bathrooms though.

I like the short trails here and its kinda different that you get to walk through a cow pasture. Just watch out for the cow patties

Okay, this is a pleasant park but my standards are kind of high so I put this at average. Same with the frolf park. It has some fun, technical holes but several are bleh. A lot of backtracking and 17 &18 really dont fit the course flow. Well maintained on signs and pin placements.

Really nice park & lake. The down side is there appears to be a few people living in RVs. Not sure if they allow them to be there all night, but every time I go its the same RVs

There are so many different areas to chill inYou can hang out at the dog park, go fishing at the dock, go on a nature walk or have a bbq. There is so much more to do. Park is very clean even the bathrooms.

Play Cliffs fun for dogs all the people let their dogs run around and play with each other they have a good time.

Might as well fence the whole thing in, several dogs come to the park every day that are male, unneutered, and aggressive. Their owners seem oblivious or cruel.

Love the open area for dogs to run and play. Muddy after rain, of course, so be prepared.

This is a very nice little parkThey used to have a lot of ducks and geese but I havent seen any lately. It was so sad this lake dried complely up when we were in a drought but its full levels now! Very cool parkAlso an off leash dog park with bathrooms for people.

So, dog owners come here, there is plenty of other dogs. Plenty of dog friendly people and some hang out here all day.

Friendly neighbors, open off leash area, plenty of bags and water. A perfect stop for our pup on our way.

Fantastic water temperature at 68 degrees the water is appropriate for the whole family unfortunately you are not allowed to bring food or metal water bottles, they do sale plastic water bottles there but its not good for the environment, the prices to go inn are great at 8.00 for adults 4.00 seniors and children.

Lake views, fitness course, memorial grove, birds, trails, dog park and disc golf course make Laguna Lake one of my favorite SLO destinations!

Nice little Park leading up to open space. There is a bathroom, swing/slide for the little ones. Peaceful to walk through for a little picnic.

Pretty cool dog park. Half of it is fenced, so the dogs dont wander into the way of vehicles parking, but it is wide open to the neighboring park. Its a large enough space that none of the dogs that were present even seemed to notice. But it was nice to just leash up and walk into the park beyond if we wanted to.

Bid dig friendly park with clean, human restrooms and friendly dogs and peeps. funny that there are sign boundaries instead of fences for Leash laws, as if dogs read!

I love Laguna Lake Park! Theres so many dogs, and wonderful people to meet! At first I thought that there would be a lot of delinquents smoking marijuana over in the trees, but I found that they do it right on the benches and theyre the nicest youngsters Ive ever met

This park has been the place to go my entire life. From Mom pushing me in a stroller now 50 years later. Unfortunately I can only say its disappointing. BBQs, feeding the ducks, swimming, fishing, windsurfing, kids playing. These are the things I think of that I just dont see anymore. It could have been so much more.

Very nice park to bring your dog and meet other dog lovers. Park is nice for family picnics, a social gather, frisbee golf, etc. play area for kids. Nice place to relax and enjoy day.

This park is nice, the water level goes up and down, but I would not recommend swimming in it. At one point the lake was used for sailing, etc. but I dont know that it is deep enough for regular use. There are plenty of bumps and shallow spots to get hung up on. There is a nice disk golf course, but there might be a bit of weaving through many of the homeless that use the park as a day-lounge. Lagune Lake Park is the only place in town where you can let your dogs legally off the leash to play, in the dog area. However, this often spills over to the rest of the park, and sometimes loose dogs can also get in the way of passing mountain bikes and small children. On some days the Laguna Lake Model Yatch Club can be seen sailing their boats - when there is water in the lake.

Really nice park. So many people walk their dogs. Our family goes to enjoy walking, fishing and just loving nature. The lake has such a pretty view. They have a park for the kiddos, still have yet to visit.

Very peaceful. People just do their own thing and leave each other to do likewise. I go at the end of the lake frequently to sit in the car and practice my music lesson.

OMG! This isnt just a dog park!There is this huge lake with picnic tables and a kids playground. Also, frisbee golf.So, I have been taken all over this city lately and falling in love... with the scenery. But, somehow, this lake is right next to qhere I have been staying and I had been passing it up. So, this week I went and took a drive around, parked... lots of parking available... and took a walk.So pretty!Then a few days later, I got a blanket and pillows and cheese and french bread and berries and had a picnic. OMG. Picnic by the lake! And in January!It was chilly. But! It was soooooooooo beautiful.

Great park to picnic or geocache, you can fish in it too supposedly. Water level has been better recently.

Lots to do here, good for everyone. Bird watching, dog park, nice playground for kids, picnic tables, flat trail for running or walking, or take an uphill trail to San Luis Mountain. Can get a bit windy in the afternoons.

It is great. Sometimes there are homeless people there but that is all you have to generally worry about. Usually youll see people smoking there but it isnt that bad. Great place for bbqs with the bbqs they provide at the park and there are restrooms and there is a jungle gym for the kiddos. There is decent parking and the lake is beautiful. Good hiking trails and running trails and scenic walks.

Nice, free dog park, not fenced so if your dogs a runner or doesnt come when called you might have to stay on-leash.

Nice little park thats easy to get to. Play area is pretty nice for the kids. Restrooms are pretty well kept. The small lake is kinda nasty looking but at least theres water again.At the far end you can park and go for a hike.Theres also a section between the play area and end parking lot with a couple tables for picnicking.Theres also a dog park (however Ive never used it) so cant say much about that.(Photo of a snake by one of the docks at the lake).

I would visit more if it werent always overrun by sketchy homeless people who make it feel like an unsafe place to be, as well as dirty. They sit around smoking cigarettes & doing lord knows what else. Its pretty upsetting because this is easily my favorite place in SLO.

Cute place. Lots of space. Excellent for picnics and has several tables in the shade for hot days. Good running and walking options. If youre into biking then this is good if you have a Mountain bike, but not many choices on a road bike or trike

This space is amazing. My friends 2 labs would run until they could not. Most dog owners are responsible and as such there are generally no ill behaved dogs here. I believe there are dog clubs that meet here and there is annual Humane Society event held here. Dogs just being derps and sometimes the people too. This is a cool place to exercise your dog and socialize.

This is my favorite place in the spring and summer to walk my dogs. Awesome to see the variety of birds. In the winter, very muddy and alot of homeless people camping.
