The website makes it look like its open so I just drove up here and some snotty young guy I asked about it said it was not open and was very dismissive. Not great PR.
Beautiful landscaping and garden
This is a nice place to get away from the hustle And bustle of San Luis Obispo, enjoy short but scenic walks through Cal Poly’s arboretum and botanic gardens. Its divided into regions of the world where plants grow for easier viewing and comparing. Or you can take a nap on the grass. And it’s FREE
Great place to relax and learn about a variety of beautiful Mediterranean plants. Many places to sit in repose.
Very nice walk thru gardens. take your time and relax. See the succulents at the Plant shop too- amazing!
Wonderful place to just walk around and enjoy nature
The Arboretum was absolutely beautiful! Well maintained with an excellent variety a plant life bunny rabbits and birds. Even saw a couple of deer
Beautiful serene spot on the Cal Poly campus. Parking permits or metered spots required. Many diffrent gardens showcasing plants from around the world.
The area features plant from all over the world. It is so beautiful and a great place to walk to de-stress or sit outside and read a book.
Little-known and secluded, this arboretum is perennially quiet. The perfect place to unwind after classes, or relax before a new week.
Its a wonderful garden thats free to visit. Its tucked away and parking is only free on the weekends or with a cal poly permit but its GORGEOUS.

Never even got a chance to go in, it was closed off. This is located inside the college campus. Im not entirely sure its actually open to the public.
