Nicely maintained park features pickle ball and tennis courts, baseball diamond, horse shoe pit, clean restrooms, and a BBQ area that can be reserved thru the city parks and rec site. Playground is good for little ones and has swings. Its all surrounded by nice green lawn. Its a nice little gem tucked into a nice neighborhood.

From the park east of Marigold Shopping Center. Off of Broad St. On S. E. Tank Farm Rd. We walk frim Islay Park to E. A. French Park. After the Good Will Warehouse on 899 ? By 990 Industrial Way, San Luis Obispo, City CA. Yeah.

This is one of my favorite places in SLO. You can enjoy a lot of sports there.You can also enjoy picnic with your friends and family!I love walking around to see the beautiful view there.

EA French Park is a pleasant park a couple of blocks off of Broad Street behind Marigold Center, with picnicking and sports activities available. It has ample parking, is accessible, and a pleasant spot to enjoy The greenery of San Luis Obispo.The day we stopped by there were people having a barbecue, a couple playing frisbee, and someone else frolicking with their dog. Im not sure if its really dog friendly but no one said anything.There are lots of nice photos that other people have taken of the park that show you what it looks like, I did take a photosphere standing in the middle of the park, but Im not sure if it uploaded correctly. The clouds were beautiful that day so if you see that photosphere, thats my first one.

The masqitoes bit my face when I was sleeping and the bathrooms are locked all night.. Also, the guy who came to unlock the bathrooms in the morning was claiming he could be a jerk to me and call the police on me for sleeping at the park.. He didnt introduce himself and acted as if checking the garbage cans was a higher priority than talking to meet somebody.. Also, he claimed that because he didnt call the police that somehow that meant he wasnt a jerk.. Whatever.. Nice baseball field with no scheduling or contact information...

What more can you ask from a park.

This is a large, relatively new playground in a nice area. The biggest downside is the wood chips.

French Park is a great place to take the kids to play on the playground, but I take away one start for the volumes of dog poo that I find in the grass. A little gross, really.
