This was a surprising bitter sweet location.. Ive lived in San Diego all of my life and just recently visited this spot.. found it by accident...and now our go to. Its not overly crowded...bathrooms and parking lot close. Its a diamond in the rough! This location is actually called Vacation Isle Park and has an amazing football field standing pond to race mini speed boats. My 2 year old was in awe! We ride our bikes here and plenty of areas to sit and rest.... eat lunch on the benches.

This place is a hidden gem in California! The area is beautiful the beach is clean the people are awesom. Highly recommend taking a trip as soon as possible. If you never been on a jet ski you will fall in love as I did! Hang on tight and have a great ride.

Its fresh,clean and relaxing place,you can party with your friends or family,it also has nic fire place beside the beachfront.

Is a really nice beach, calm, perfect for spending a day enjoying nature, the only thing I did not like this time is that after the memorial day weekend it was really dirty, people should pick up their trash and put it in the trash can, like civilized human beings. Overall good place to have fun.

Simply BEAUTIFUL From every angle. Just watch out for the segals they will swoop down ans take your food if you turn away. But other then that. We really enjoyed our day. Kids playing people jogging grilling out jet ski paddle boarding its all here. Perfect family hang out spot. Just get out there early to get that ideal perfect spot. Gotta love this Cali life.

Very nice beach area. Very well kept and all the groups were practicing social/physical distancing and wearing mask when walking around.

Beautiful, and very clean beach. It was nice being able to enjoy ourselves, and easily social distance. We bought our lunch and ate here at the picnic tables two days in a row while vacationing. Also cool to watch the jet skiers.

It was a fun place we went jet skiing which was super fun but the water was super busy. Boats skis paddle boards kayaks and people swimming. It honestly didnt feel safe. Irresponsible drivers would go full speed next to the shore and i was scarred for the kids and swimmers.Also PARKING!! There is very limited spots for Vehicles not towing a trailer and if you go in a spot that is meant for trailer parking as an overflow spot you will get a parking ticket. $50 but still ...

Came here for a friends birthday. Have to come early to get a good spot. Overall nice little area to hang out with friends for a BBQ

Beautiful but, this morning it was trashed people please clean up after yourselves. The parks people were cleaning mountains of trash from obvious large gatherings.Overall its a great park next to some fantastic running paths

This place is great to spend time with friends and family i would definitely suggest if youre an outsider with all do respect

Great place for Jet skiing, and family day at the bay but man be careful.The cops drop tickets on peoples vehicles if you park in a truck/trailer boat lot So make sure you are parked in a legal single car parking slot and not in the car/ boat trailer lots.

Plenty of parking. Lots of room for whatever activities you like to engage in at the beach. One of San Diegos great Mission Bay attractions.

Annual fam bam summer BBQ takes place here! Bring the jet skis or the kayak; theres something for everyone to do or something to see and enjoy all day! Get there early to claim a firepit for night time marshmallows. But lets keep this a secret, or else itll get too crowded.

Plenty of parking, clean. Perfect for families with small kids play area.

Not so private beach, but its to be expected for a public beach. Lots of room for everybody, plenty of shade trees if you need it, and excellent motor sporting location. Bring your grill and deposit your hot coals in the bins provided. Very green, and in the middle of it all!

This is a neat park it has a free launch ramp, many large trees for shade, restrooms and lots of beach front access. However be aware parking enforcement is in full force in this parking lot. There is way more parking spaces available for vehicles with trailer then for car parking. Even if someone is already parked there and you cant see sign you still get a $50 parking citation even when parking lot is empty.

Bathrooms could use better exhaust but other than that, very family friendly environment lol

The playground is small, the view is beautiful!!! A lot of space for a picnic, if not a busy day, you can even fly a kite there. The beach not so great, a lot of seashells on the sand it hurts your feet when you walk on them. If you are a seashell collector, this is the place to come.

Love this place so relaxing. N chill. And close to the bathrooms. You have so much fun by yourself or with friends and family. Its like a get away from home and witty. And you always meet someone at ski beach. The it you will love it too!

Ski Beach Park was very beautiful, very calming, I like seeing all the trash cans all around. The only thing as a camping traveler I was not able to stay overnight in my 2028 truck camper.

This is a BEAUTIFUL place to come and spend time at the Bay! The view is gorgeous!!

Its a place thats good to go jet skiing & have bbqs. Bring your own canopys for shade.Kids should bring sand shovels and buckets to make anything sand! Sunblock too.Its definitely a place for family fun or friends who just want to have a nice day.Bring your own wood for bond fires inside a cement border just for fire.Grassy areas and sandy areas closer to the water.

Beautiful spot for a day out near the water. Perfect spot to have a picnic, party, or just to have some fun in the sun. Great place to take out the jetskis. It is a park with access to the water in the bay. Will always go back out there. Fun!

Windy and sunny spot to have lunch and play with the kids. Bring a tablecloth and watch for glass near the trash bins. Small, uncrowded beach areas on north end near playground.

I love this place . It has it all. The bathroom is close by it has a playground for the kids, it has grass and sand and pic nick tables. It is always clean..will come here forever.

I love this area! The bathrooms are always stocked and clean. There are never too many people! Great place to enjoy the sun (just make sure to wear sunscreen)

Beautiful day, wonderful friends and family. But sometimes your neighbors are just a little too much. I understand if you want to smoke marijuana to do it in your car out in the parking lot. Dont do it in front of my kids are others, have a little respect.

I went here often as a teenager. I dont remember it being so dirty. Maybe I was too drunk to notice.

To travelers from abroad:This is the place to be if you like a beach setting with jet ski rentals, boat rentals, and beach front access for the kids. Keep in mind, you have to call the rental places ahead of time, and they will deliver and pick up the boat or ski. Omg this place is so beautiful, you can see downtown, Coronado, sea world, and Fiesta island, all from ski beach! We love it here. The best part to be in is off to the right before the bathrooms. And the best part of jet skiing there, is that you can pull your skis right up to your beachfront spot! Just be careful to not go too close to rocks or people.

Very low key area right in mission bay. So low key you dont have to jocky for space on the sand. Good for a nice family outing.

Love this place. Beautiful...and great for parties. Make sure you watch were you park tho...they give tickets constantly. So read the signs like 5 times lol.

One of the best parts of the paradise Point Resort are the boat and waverunner rentals.I rented a WaveRunner and I rode it into the Back Bay speed zone and had a lot of fun.
