One of the best, if not THE best views of the SD Bay..I hidden gem if you will.On top of that, you got fishing, picnics, perfect weather, relaxing walks and biking .. all for FREE! ..There are food places to eat but require at least an arm in exchange, so be prepared for your wallet to cry if you arent rich.

This is a great park right on the water. There is parking and bathrooms. Its also a great location for viewing the boat parade.

Parked here at night to wait for a friend arriving at the airport and feel phone lot is closed. It was nighttime and lived the view from here. Unbeatable! A few people walking and noticed there are benches so you can sit and watch the boys go by.

It was breathtaking and soothing for my soul. Its a good course to walk for exercise and an area for relaxation. Id definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I love this place! The fishing stinks though. No fish anywhere. Negative fish. I’ve tried all up and down the path. Just no fish over here. If you are looking for a spot, this ain’t it. However, this whole area is just amazing for everything else.

Chill spot with great shade, not many people (although its currently after labor day) and a bathroom. Fantastic downtown, north island and Point Loma views.

Limited parking, but if you find a spot take out your folding chair and place it under one of the many trees for shade, great breeze, and awesome view of the bay and downtown.

Not crowded ample parking. 2 mile walk along the ocean. Fishing is good especially at night. If you want to fish here you will need to be able to climb a relatively steep rocky slope, similar to navigating a jetty. But its only about 6 feet down not anything too crazy.Lots of stripy bass and halibut, early morning or sunset seem to be the best fishing so bring a light so you can navigate the rocks in the dark.

Beautiful views if the San Diego skyline and ships heading out to sea. Nose level walking area. Great restaurants on the southern end.

An oasis right across from the SD Airport. Perfect for walking, fishing, running, or just sitting around in the many benches along the path. There are lots of great restaurants along the way to satisfy even the most demanding foodies. If youre in the market for a boat, you can also do that...buy the boat of your dreams, LOL

Great place to park while waiting for some to arrive at San Diego International Airport. I always hang out here instead of the cell phone lot. This place has beautiful views plenty of benches and restrooms. It’s just a straight shot to the airport and parking is free.

Whether you come here day or night, its always a refreshing and breathtaking view here at harbor island. During low tides you can see the rocks lined with oysters.

Walking there has its own mood. Tho the smell of the ocean there can be disgusting to most people. Great views tho

The cell phone lot at Lindbergh Field was closed. I found this park near the airport to wait for my sisters flight.A few people were fishing along the shore . I think I will use the spot the next time Im picking up from the airport.

Great spot to look at boats passing by, take in views of the city, watch the helicopters take off across the bay or listen to the water ripple on the rocks. Saw guys fishing too (for what I dont know).Nice park benches to take in the views or enjoy the nice grassy spots; or if its hot, hide in the shade under the trees.Handicap accessible and bathrooms on site. Free parking was nice. Could park here and ride bikes along the waterfront all the way to downtown if you desired.I couldnt find any Bird type scooters to ride in this area (on a Saturday during boat show)

The dogs love this place! So many neat sights to see and experience and sniff and WOOF at! The weather was perfect and we all had a good day!

We went there early Eve. Found a bench and sat we just watched the bay traffic very relaxing especially since not many flights in and out at Lindbergh to bother one.

One of the hidden treasures of San Diego. Great place to watch a sunrise or better yet, a sunset.

Some of the popular attractions in the Golden Gate Park include the Japanese Tea Garden, Golden Gate Park Aquarium, de Young Museum, the California Academy of Sciences, the Golden Gate Carousel, Strawberry Hill, and the North (Dutch) Windmill and South (Murphy) Windmill. Its a really nice place to walk along the harbor and enjoy city view. Theres a nice sidewalk where many people runs or walk their dogs. Bikes or rollerblades not allowed. Theres a clean restroom but theres no door to the stalls

This is a great open place to walk next to SD Bay with decent parking not too far from the airport. We recently spent 45mins there before a flight and was very convenient to head to the airport afterwards.Some there are events held there mak8ng it more desirable to go visit. ENJOY!!

Awesome view of the city skyline--especially at night--with all kinds of boats and ships sailing past. Both commercial and naval planes can be seen landing at Lindbergh Field or NAS North Island. The park is basically a long sidewalk and strip of grass where individuals and couples walk or jog peacefully by, often with dogs, stretching from the Coasterra restaurant in the east to Tom Hams in the west. Across the street a string of hotels and marinas can be seen. The park widens a bit at the west end where a small parking lot and public restroom can be found.

Today at watch the sunset as a beautiful cruise ship left the Port of San Diego! There were many couples and lovers sitting on the benches watching the sunset as sailboats and the cruise ship passed by. San Diego Bay is a hard place to beat either early in the morning or late in the afternoon as the sun is beginning to set. Great walking trails and bicycle trails!
