A nice little quaint park. Great to play basketball, walk around, exercise or just enjoy that beautiful San Diego weather. I’d high,y recommend checking Breen Park out. They have workout equipment around the park as well

Pros: good neighborhood park. nice and evenly paved loop thats around 0.4miles. kids play area thats got everything kids want (different slides, kids and adult swings, spring riders, seesaw) and nice big lawn areas, pull-up bars, and picnic area/benches and full court basketball court. This place is great if you live right near by.Cons: People smoking weed here once in awhile.

Very pretty and spacious park. Has two play areas for the kids, and really nice seating. Even has a basketball court. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of parking. The parking lot is really small, with only enough space for maybe 10 cars.

A nice place to exercise, take a walk or bring kids to enjoy the playground. There are several exercise stations for both arms and legs workout.

Large area to walk...up on a hill that has good flow of air..lots of gazebos with picnic tables...kids play area and nice basketball court. This area has bathroom facilities...over all its a pretty clean & safe area.

Quiet, medium size park surrounded by single family homes and nice 180 degree mountainous views on a clear day. Great for morning quiet walks on paved walkway around perimeter of park. People doing Tai Chi and other dances and morning exercises and great for yoga etc, 2 play area for kids, a basketball court, bathroom, approx 8 picnic tables, clean facility in quiet neighborhood.

Love this park. They keep it clean. Close to home, I walk cause parking can be difficult. Lots of friendly people, dog walking etc. Park stuff!

Old school park when park first opened was well maintained now it looks like the gangs messed it all up need to bring more life to this park was beautiful now needs saving ASAB only life in the park is all the people working out ️

We came with 25 people and a bunch of food, there is a large gazebo with 3 picnic tables that worked out great.

Pretty much the classic archetypal park. Playground, basketball courts, grass for picnics, big enough to walk or run around, and bathrooms. Its a bit dirtier than some other parks Ive been to in Mira Mesa (or it seems that way), but it has everything you really need in a park. Bring your kids since the playground is surely ample for them. Perfect for anybody who lives in the neighborhood. Not too far from Downtown Mira Mesa if you want to go on a longer walk to there, but Mira Mesa has so many nice parks that this one pales in comparison.

Great Park with a little jogging Trail around it. They have playgrounds for the kids and plenty of room for field games such as frisbee. We had a Boy Scout activity here. The neighborhood seems to be good as well.

Nice park with playgrounds for bigger and smaller kids, a green grassy field perfect for picnics and kite flying, restrooms that are clean. Not enough shelter on hot days.

Pluses - Long, wide, paved trails for roller blading and such. Nice playground. Restrooms. Water fountains. On regular ice cream truck route. Huge lawn areas. Gazebo. Fenced - only one way in and out. We go there frequently.Minuses - It could use more shade and more park tables and benches. Tables do get filthy, especially after birthday parties, nobody seems to clean them. Only about 8 parking spaces inside the park, otherwise you need to park on the street.

Everything was a bit squeeky. Water fountain doesnt work. It just sprays at you. Lots of space for walking around and jogging with some exercise stations. Nice place though for kids to get some energy out.

Bball courts arent to bad, nice double rim...solid hoop .....courts were clean, water fountains were decent, bathrooms were close by. So was my house lol....

Great passive park. Good place to get pick up games of basketball, or kickball. Good place to practice on your own, take walk or bring the kids for the play structures and swings

Good neighborhood park, but shade is limited due to lack of trees. However it does have public bathrooms near the playground, so it is a good place to take your little ones. Also Basketball courts and picnic tables with shade structures.

Good local park with a sand layer jogging path. The is two play areas for kids. The park also has BBQ areas and sitting Gazebo for get together.

Nice neighborhood park. Parking can be tricky, but you can usually find parking on the street. There is almost always soccer practice or game going on at the park.

This is the closest park to our house and it is probably the nicest in Mira Mesa. Its a decent size and well kept, for the most part. The tables could be cleaned more often. The watering schedule for the grass makes no sense. Ive seen it on in the middle of the day where more water is wasted from evaporation. Parking can be horrible on the weekends.

Just near the area and it is our go to park. They have swings, slides, seesaw, & a basketball court. Perfect for an afternoon walk.

Breen Community Park is a safe and popular place to run, walk, bike, play basketball, have picnics, exercise, and play with pets. There are bathrooms, covered picnic tables as well as different locations for workouts like sit ups, chinning, push ups, etc. Breen Park used to be an old grade school place.

Kids and I get many good times here. Great place for parties or walking the dog.

Its a good park lots of people go there to Walk, run, exercise,play soccer and basketball I bring my son all the time

This is a great park, the only downside is the wood chips used instead of sand or foam.
