It was my first time back to UTC since the shutdown. I dont know why I waited so long. Its a beautiful outdoor mall. Perfect for COVID times. Some stores have changed over, but most are the same as I remember. There is so much outdoor seating and lounge areas. Plus random works of art to eye as you run from store to store.

This is one of my favorite malls in San Diego. Even though its very popular I feel that the atmosphere is more relaxed than Fashion Valley Mall, which is also a favorite of mine. Lemonade is also a great place to get food (good portions) and drink.

UTC is now way better than how it ways s few years ago. It has mostly everything you need to satisfy your shopping needs, ranging from designer brands for clothing, cosmetics, accessories to high-end luxurious items, such as Hermes, Cartier, Panerai, just to name a few. You can travel to this shopping center by public transit, which is quite convenient, by car (you will be charged for parking after first 2hrs of complimentary parking), or by feet if you live in the neighborhood. I cant take pics for all the places to portray the vibe, but here is a few from my trip today

Perfect for creative and imaginative play. My daughter cant get enough to this playroom we recently used. She loves all of the activities inside but the ones she truly goes back to, are the slides and the part where she colors her chosen animals and watches it comes to life on the walls. I highly recommend this to everyone.

This formerly bustling mall is now the perfect representation of the future, with perfectly maintained crowd levels, entertaining music, and fully automated parking. We celebrated a birthday lunch (only dine-in so far). The restaurants are maintaining strict pandemic protocols. The mall has become a great walking area, with all the shops keeping customer counts, and mask-on policies

Love it here the art you can find around every corner as you walk and shop. (shown in picture the fish piece) the many stores to choose from try not to get lost! The food court and restaurants selection are amazing dont forget to stop and watch the ice skaters from little ones just beginning or more advanced fun to watch as they ease their way on the ice .

I had not been to this mall for a long time (5 + years) and I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful changes they made from the parking structure to the sitting areas, food quarter, the ponds and water fountains throughout ... Very modern... Really splendid! PS: At the time of this post the parking is still undergoing some construction.Parking is free for the first 2 hours and then its $2/hour.

Lots of good places to eat and beautiful outdoor places to eat it. Oh, the shopping isnt bad either. The best time of the year here is Christmas, the decorations, light, and music are magical and here in San Diego we need all the help we cant get to make it feel like Christmas.Note to parents: they have a childrens bathroom with mini toilets, a place to change your baby, a little play place and a private place to nurse. There is also a fun playground with stuff to climb and some sprinklers to run through, although its currently closed for COVID.

I really like this mall because it has everything you need. It has food, drinks, clothes, shoes, everything! I really like the new remodel compared to about 3-4 years ago. It is very modern but also has a very authentic feel to it. The staff is very nice and is always there to help! Great food and great shops. Everything is within your reach! Only thing I would like there is a Target. Other than that, amazing mall!

One of the “Ritzyest” malls around with free 2 hour parking, the parking garage even remembers your license plate and you don’t even have to show your ticket sometimes. I go to the 24 fitness here and I like Larson’s, the Wine Bar, that one BBQ restaurant (can’t remember the name but it’s super good) and lastly Raised by Wolves which is all phenomenal. This might be one of the richest feeling malls around, also the movie theater here is over the top too, it’s also not cheap. It’s also a pretty nice mall to walk around, lots of outside area here too. Oh yeah lastly the Javiers here is one of the nicest Javier’s I’ve ever been to. Highly suggest this mall. You gotta pay for parking after 2 hours but it’s not that bad. Also the Seasons 52 will cut you off after like 4 double shots to just be aware if you’re trying to turn up in the middle of the day.

The big window is the brands that they have now by going through this sort of a rebuild The stores that are there Ive just never seen some of them anywhere

For shoppers, its like a resort vacation spot. There were chairs and tables that were beautifully installed everywhere, so I felt comfortable and happy with my eyes. It was good to visit department stores and various brands at once, and the parking system was satisfactory. I recommend that you sit in a chair nearby before shopping makes you tired. Shopping will be more enjoyable. And the evening is more beautiful than the day.

I was amazed by this shopping mall that brought happiness to my heart. As I arrived at the mall, their security was worth the trust. The place was all cleanup and tidy. You couldn’t see any dust floating and scattering in the area. They were selling excellent products, clothes, appliances, and amenities, that’s why there were many people in this mall. All of their employees were working well, nice, and accommodating. See you soon!

We valet the car, and the first thing that was said, we close at 10pm. We were having dinner at Javiers (excellent by the way)reservations at 8pm, so that kinda worried me. The restaurant closes at 11pm. I did not want to feel rushed. I asked our server and he said not to worry. The Valet will either bring in the keys or they will notify us. This kind of service is what I would have preferred from the Valet.

This has become the finest mall in San Diego due to 3+ years and 600 million dollars in upgrades. It’s more than a mall, it’s a gathering place filled with art, style, and many international visitors. Food ranges from your standard food court fare (Panda Express) all the way to wine & steak in the best of atmospheres. There are lots of great brands to explore with prices ranging from out of reach to surprising bargain. This mall is not 100% completed yet, but it’s definitely closer to the finish line than the midpoint. The only major disappointment for some is that parking is charged for after two hours. Some businesses like the movie theater and some restaurants will validate, but generally if I’m popping in for a bite and a walk around a couple of hours is plenty of time. As a mall enthusiast I will say that when UTC is completed it will be one of the elite Southern California shopping experiences and a must visit for any San Diego visitors.

This outdoor mall is an experience. It is filled with art sculptures and beautiful spaces, that is is actually relaxing. And I am NOT a big shopper.Around Christmas, it is magical at night when it is all lit up. There is an indoor skating rink. There are tons of options for food with a variety of price ranges. And, a unique Cupcake Vending Machine! It is fancy, as in it has lots of high end stores like Sundance or Hermes. But it has all of the usual stores too. You pay for parking after the first two hours, so good to know. And, even the womens bathroom is high end. ;) It has gorgeous leather furniture. What a treat.

Simple store with clean lines, wide open space and I wasnt overwhelmed with a huge selection. Customer service was just right, not too attentive or solicitous. The very patient cashier up front put up with my multiple requests for different styles, colors of the Day Heel--which btw, get you one and your feet will love you for it; except the suede has a little bit of give because of the material so try sizing down. They didnt have my size so he offered free 2-day shipping. He deftly handled a line of 5 deep--all millenials and hipsters who had cash to burn on 80$ sweatshirts--props for that.

Cute outdoor mall that has a large variety of shops and restaurants. Ive been here on 4 different occasions for a casual lunch date with the hubby and twice with the family and kids. I really like that they have seating every few shops or so, its not a lot of seating but its better than nothing. At night its pretty romantic with the fountain in the square lit up softly, while a few of the seating areas have a fire for keeping warm during the cold. The atmosphere is nice and family oriented but its also pretty crowded at times and hard to maneuver, especially with the younger crowd of kids and teens walking around like they own the place lol.The parking lot can be a hit or miss...during the early hours and downtime its not busy or crowded, however when it is busy or during peak hours parking can be a nightmare.Food here is ok...depending on where you eat or go. After all it is mall food. Ive only tried about 4 of the 11 or 12 restaurants located in the dining terrace, and today was our first time trying Din Tai Fung. Will definitely come back here again but mainly to try a few more of the remaining restaurants and probably during the not so busy hours.
