Every time a new movie is coming out, it is our best choice to watch it here. The last time we had a movie here was last weekend. I have loved this place ever since I was little. And I wish they will maintain this so that I can bring my own kid here, someday. And by the way, they had the best seat cushion here than anywhere else.

Nice theatre! The auditorium we saw the movie in didn’t have reclining seats. You get food and drinks inside the theatre. They also sell movie merchandise. The restrooms are nice and clean. Since it’s in Westfield mall, there’s plenty of parking space. They also validated our parking ticket since the parking is free only for two hours and the duration of the movie was over two hours. The auditorium size was not too big. Overall a good place to watch movies and have a drink simultaneously.

Amazing cinema, very comfy seats, and yummy ice creams. The movies were so good, and the staves were so friendly. Everything in this cinema house was indeed great. I would definitely visit this cinema again and bring my whole friends. We will surely watch our favorite movie soon in this cinema house.

Kind of expensive but you get what you pay for. Everything is very clean, the movie theater is nice, the seats are very comfortable, the screen is nice and the sound is good.

A very nice theater and one of the few places in the UTC mall where you can get a validation for extra parking time. Thankfully they do have a gender-neutral companion bathroom, which is great for my mom and her wheelchair. The admission and concession prices may be a little higher than other theaters in the city, but I think it is worth it.

This is a really nice theater. The seats are comfortable but non reclining. The theater is C-L-E-A-N. You can reserve seating and the employees are helpful and nice. Dont forget to bring your parking ticket they validate.

I love this theater. Great food, great bar, great seats and always great customer service. Now the mall has expanded so parking is easy and they validate. I recommend planning on staying after and spending time in the bar or outside at the tables repeating all the best parts of the movie you just watched with your friend.

It is very nice cinema but very pricey on food, drinks, and alcohol beverages. They have comfortable recliner seats and air conditioned theater rooms. It is clean and well maintained theater and great staff.

Friendly staff my most recent visit here. Clean, comfy seats and bathrooms. My only complaint is it was so flipping hard to find! Maybe Im directionally challenged, but we were almost late for our movie because we had the hardest time finding the theater! For me anyway, there needs to be more obvious signage to direct you to the theater.

This theater feels incredibly unnacommidating. We showed up 7 minutes late to a movie, we were happy to pay full price anyways and they wouldnt allow us in. I can do that at any other theater we just missed some credits. So we ended up waiting for several hours for the next showing. The seats are very average for a luxury theater. For how much the tickets are they should recline. The food stand is average and overpriced as usual but doesnt sell anything special. The only luxury aspect is the bar. There are rules posted everywhere when you walk in. I get the ski masks but they wont allow bags which is very inconvenient because its in the middle of a mall. They make you pay almost double if you have a baby. Who does that?? I felt like I was in high school all over again.

Staff is really kind and helpful, great options for socializing before and after a movie. Attended a corporate event as well, a meeting held in one of the theater rooms- smart idea!

Absolutely love this theatre. Timely with start times and their staff explains how long the movie plays and even trivia if applicable. They serve drinks and you are allowed to have it in the movie theatre as well. Popcorn and snacks are on deck as well. Definitely a favorite.

Beautiful clean theater, but they have the most uncomfortable seats I’ve ever experienced. Bottom seat higher than a standard chair leaves your legs dangling where circulation starts cutting off, no recline feature, and to top it all off the front of bottom seat cushion is tilted up, pushing body weight back trapping you into the seat with your knees higher than 90 degrees off the seat...very strange?? Disappointing to say the least for a expensive $19 x 2 ticket. Sadly, i won’t be returning

Come here early for best seats! My first and only visit (and there will be more visits) at this movie establishment was an extremely pleasant experience on Saturday (2/08/20)! I thought the management and staff surpassed standard of excellence! Tiffany helped buy, select my seat and everyone employed was considerate and kind to me! Parking validation extended to 4 hours! Yay!Thank you! There will be a second visit to this movie theater. I watched the Oscar nominated shorts! It was a treat to see on big screen!Ave Maria, Gratia Plena! Theatre rooms and seats could be cleaned better. 3D shutter is noticeable due to it being active 3D. Prices a bit on the expensive side but still not bad of an experience.

BED BUGS alert! My husband and I went to see Little Woman last night and my husband got bitten by BED BUGS! He got a crazy allergic reaction right away and at least we knew what happened right away and took measures preventing them to spread into our house!This is absolutely rediculous considering price tag of the movie and overall high end image of the cinema

Booked online. Good seats. Cocktail before the movie. Perfect.

Came during the weekday. There were only two workers attending guests. Both of them were busy selling snacks so no one was able to check me in until 10 minutes later. After checking in, I decides to try their advertised ice cream and cookie combo. They were out cookies, even though it was the early afternoon. The sound and picture in the actual theater was good, but the service was not.

Other than being hard to find from the parking garage, this theater is fantastic! Very clean, modern & comfortable seats.

The theater was about average despite the price, but it is in a convenient area and has good showings.

Its a nice theater and parking validation is super easy since you validate your parking ticket on scanners that are throughout the theaters once you get your movie ticket checked.

This is the best Cinema in San Diego. The great thing is every seat has a good view and excellent sound there are no bad seats in the House. They also show older movies classics. A real movie fan theater.

Comfortable and Luxerious,Sound quality is Amazing and the Snack bar has some good choices. If your looking to watch a movie in a comfortable setting then Arclight is the place for you.

The concession staff is great! As for the theater rooms, some of them are a little small but the seats are comfy!!! Definitely one of my top 5 movie spots!

Pretty nice place. Not as posh as Cinepolis, but definitely a step up from AMC and the likes. Feels more like a standard theater in Europe, can bring adult drinks from the bar to your seat (much appreciated, considering the quality of most movies that are out there ).

Love Arc light. Covienent, great parking lots of places to eat in the UTC Mall. The atmospheres friendly staff are friendly and helpful.

Visiting La Jolla area from AZ decided to see a movie here. It’s over 2X the price of a movie in AZ, a senior ticket is almost $16. It has reserved seating but the seats are pretty much older standard seats, not the big comfy reclining seats common in reserved seating theaters these days. So value for the money just isn’t there. If I lived here I’d never go see movies any more if this is the standard.

It used to be good, but the parking is no longer free, their prices are the highest, and the parking situation is ridiculous! All of the food/drink is horribly over-priced. Sad because it use to be our go to theater but never again!

Thought this was supposed to be a luxury theater - just a regular theater for 50% more. Empty, though, and had great seats, and screen was large and sound was decent, but not quite as great as I expected (like the old THX). Also parking at UTC is now a huge pain, although Arclight validates for 4 hours, so still free.

The popcorn is yummy with their real butter. If you come to this theater, you better be on time! Previews are super short. Only downside (if youre into this) is the chairs dont recline, but their is plenty of space in front of the chairs.

This is a great place to see first to market moves. The staff is very nice, the Theater is very clean and modern with comfy seats. And I think the best part is the pre-paid assigned seating on-line system. They do have an over 21 bar inside, looks very good and may be a great place to get a drink before the move. I am usually with the family, and they have an outdoor fire pit’s and social area. So, it works our great for all ages. Nicely done.

This place is simply stunning, not only are the seats and comfortable surrounding worth it but, the mall its inside of is incredible to, went to go see star wars and it was amazing! Had a great time all around . Probably the only complaint I have is the parking the mall parking that surrounded the theather was like a maze . So please be prepared to walk a bit before showing up on time or not ! Besides the parking no complaints, ty arclight for an amazing time!

Its a decent little theater. Popcorn was good, prices were lower then what I expected. Theater was not large but the movie had been out for a while. Nice being in the mall, lots of things to do.

Arclight its a great very chill theater with good service but the theaters them selfs could definitely be improved the seats feel very dated and uncomfortable

Most impressive theater in San Diego. Theater has a complete Dolby Atmos sound system. They have reserved seating and serve beer, wine and cocktails along with normal theater snacks.

We paid nearly twice regular ticket price for a theatre that still uses hard upright seats. You can save money and have a better experience somewhere else.... almost anywhere else actually.

Today was my first time at arcLight cinemas and I can say that I liked the experience. Clean, well kept and friendly staff. Prices are a bit higher than at other movie theaters. Just keep that in mind. Loved the assigned seating

The seats are not comfortable. The theater seems not highly frequented and runs some movies way longer than other theaters. A step below The Lot or Cineapolis.

Went to see a pretty popular movie. The screen was broken, they refused to restart the movie or reseat us in another theater and took 40 minutes to refund us because their manager couldnt make a decision. They also offered us vouchers, that were expired, for a free movie for our troubles.

We were given seats that were in the front row and we had to tilt our heads back and look up at the giant movie screen. Get at least 3 rows back from the first row. Otherwise all was good. Seats are comfortable but not adjustable. Pricey.

They had a good selection of beer although the movie ticket was kind of pricey.

This place is just not serious. Ages to center the image, image horribly shaking for an hour, failed halfway through. Theyre now discussing over the radio if they can duct tape it for the rest of the movie -- not before announcing that anyway there wont be any refunds but only a pass to come back.

Movie experience was great, but parking validation didnt work. The parking folks wont refund my money unless I go in person with my card...20 miles away and at least 2 hours of my time! Beware.

Very nice lady at the front desk helped me and my friends out with a mixup in buying tickets online. Really appreciate her help as we were able to watch Shazam! on time today (6:20 PM).As a customer I did not have much trouble with online payments before but I will definitely make sure to stay on top of it to avoid these unnecessary complications.

Love this theater. I appreciate the cleanliness of the place. It doesnt feel run down like some other theatres and is worth the extra buck or two.b Always a great experience and with the mall remodel there are more dining options for before or after the movie.

Very nice movie theater. It has comfortable seats, which you can reserve online ahead of time. You can also bring alcoholic drinks into the theater from the bar. The seats dont recline and you cant order food and drinks from your seat like at Cinepolis, but its also less expensive.

A more intimate theater than most. Its inside UTC so parking can be iffy. But love that there is no late entrance once movie starts.

Comfortable seating. Screen is a good size. Stadium assigned seating. Attendants to help you find your seats. Helpful staff. You can find the standard movie food, popcorn, nachos, drinks etc... Theres a cocktail bar & an area of youre looking to buy novelty items. Bathrooms are clean as well. Located inside Westfield mall. The car park gives easy access to the theatre. Plenty of stores around to shop

This is my first review so please dont leave too much hate. When you first walk into the cinema, you will be greeted by a huge board filled with movies that is showing and will be showed. The tickets were a bit pricey but worth it because the sound quality was amazing. The food was very expensive for what it is. The seats were a bit hard but you will get used to it. I would definitely go to this cinema again but it could be a lot better.

Arclight theater is comfortable and well located in the beautiful Westfield shopping mall.

Seats and theater were very nice and fun.

You can buy your tickets online and reserve your seats using a seat layout map and then show up just before show time, knowing your seats are waiting for you. No getting there way early to stand in line and hope you get a decent seat. All theaters have stadium seating with comfortable seats. Some theaters are big, others are smaller. Refreshments are good. They have a bar with some food items and you can take drinks into several of the theaters. I like Arclight Theaters a lot. Enjoy.

Excellent customer service. The staff is friendly and helpful. There was an issue with our movie and it didnt start on time, but the theater was still able to make things right with the customer.

Nice theater. Not as nice as the Lot, but still better than Amc. Parking sucks at UTC sometimes, and finding the theater can be very confusing if you have never been here before. There is only one single sign in the parking garage.

Comfortable, reserved stadium seating, one theater with a wide-screen and advanced sound system, multiple other theaters with good projection and sound...and much better popcorn than the other movie chains in town. And although the mall where the theaters are located now charges for parking, Arclight validates parking for four hours.

I was there last night and it was a total disappointment after paying for 20$ movie ticket and finding out seats are not reclining. Also i was seeing part of the head of the people sitting on front and they were not even that tall so i am not coming back here for sure

This is a great theater. The staff are polite and helpful. Its kept very clean. The movies are clear and the sound system is good.

Very difficult to find . Took us 10 min walking around the outdoor mall in la Jolla. By the time we got there we were 12 min late and they wouldnt allow us to an 11a matinee. They tried to sell us on waiting 2 hours but we were in between success games traveling there . They could not have cared less about us or our situation . There was not one other person in the whole place either .

So very strange, they have a policy not to sell tickets if the movie has already begun. I was part of a meet up and denied entry to the movie. Luckily the group organizer was out for popcorn and got them to bend the rules by force, the movie house staff was rude and lacked any ability to see the situation. I was not impressed with the customer service and will not be going back since the tickets are grossly overpriced and the seats arent even luxury standard.

Very nice theater. Reserved seats. The popcorn was very good. We were somewhat disappointed that the theater we were in (#11) did not have reclining seats or swing tables for food, as do most theaters at that price ($14.75 Sunday matinee for Seniors). There were only three previews. Not sure how I feel about that. Usually, there seem to be 6 or 7, which seems like too much, but I actually enjoy them. Staff was extremely friendly.

Its ok. Not a fancy theater. Be sure to get your parking validation there... But good luck finding a staff member to help you with that.

High quality movie viewing experience and food, unfortunately it is a slight tad overpriced.

Apparently even if you have a reserved seat and ticket that’s already paid for, you can’t show up 10 minutes after the start time. Oh and that’s not movie start time that’s preview start time. Even though we all know that previews last at least 20 minutes of not longer. Ridiculous. Also the woman who was scanning tickets wasn’t even paying attention.

The theater itself is just OK. Absolutely terribly located in this mall. Walked to 20 minutes trying to find it. For a new location and ridiculously high prices, why not a luxury theater? Very basic set up in the theater. Prices are insane.
