Watched christopher nolans Tenet movie in 4dx! It was amazing cinematic experience. My kid enjoyed the theater hall fog, wind, thunder light and the moving, vibrating, shaking seat experience!

This is a great venue for Regal Edwards Mira Mesa 4DX, IMAX & RPX. Got to see so many great reunions from Animal House movie cast reunion and 20 year reunion of Office Space. This venue is great for Q&A sessions. The theater looks classy inside. The only downside would be going to the mens bathroom all the way to the basement. This place has been a host to many cinema legends.

First time and had a great experience. Many employees around for help. Seats are very comfortable and spacious. Will be back again.

This theater complex is one of my favorites. They have all the top films on the first day release, usually on a Friday. If you are able to attend an early morning screening, you will save a considerable amount of time & money. Also youll avoid the long lines of people waiting to buy tickets & the crowded auditoriums.The seats are super comfortable, with high backs and they do recline a little. Theres arm rests on both sides with cup holders. Theres no trash on the floor or in the aisle.If you like IMAX, RPX or THX top quality surround sound with your movie, they are all offered (although your ticket will be a couple of dollars more). There are 18 different theaters, some large, some small with most in between.Lots & lots of snacks (hot & cold) and plenty of drinks to choose from. All the usual condiments are available to add to your meal. As a bonus, they have a wide variety of self operating candy machines that accept coins. Large, clean bathrooms with handicap facilities are always open.Plenty of parking right out front and handicap spaces are on the first row. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable about the theater and seem very willing to assist you.This is a Regal Cinema complex which accepts your Regal Crown Club card. With this card (which is free), you accumulate points for every movie you attend. At any time, you can cash in your points for snacks, drinks or a free movie. Also you can obtain movie memorabilia, hats, hoodies, shirts and a variety of other swag with your points.If you are a fan of the movies, I suggest this fine theater complex. Please be sure to sign up for your Regal Crown Club card & start saving your points.

Very clean & comfortable. All staff is so nice & helpful. This is my favorite go-to theatre. Have been a Regal Club member for many years. I really like the seat assignment procedure. Its a big improvement & helps to make the entire experience better. Thankyou!

You can use kiosk so get the tickets by yourself. Lobby was clean and fantastic. But i couldnt select the movie that i want to watch cause there was only 2 item.

This theater is great. The concession stand is full and I usually get the kid pack combo. The seats are NOT reclining but the theater is verily clean and well staffed. The shopping center has places to dine if youd like to have dinner or food before.

We dont get to this theater very often but when we do it is always a pleasure. we love the IMAX screen and the incredible surround sound. We saw Ford versus Ferrari and IMAX and it was terrific. You cant go wrong with this theater!

At the 1:10am showing of Star Wars of this day, people noticed that trailers were in 3D: the theatre accidentally put the 3D reel instead of the 2D version (the one we paid for). So they switched it to the correct reel, then fast-forwarded (to skip ads/trailers we had already sat through) but overshot and went straight to the prologue text, completely skipping the iconic STAR WARS logo and theme song and the whole a long time ago in a galaxy far away. They didnt even bother to rewind it to that, they just kept it playing where they fast-forwarded to. Absolutely unforgivable, Id give -99 stars to this place if I could.Oh almost forgot, when they stopped the film to switch reels, they turned the theater roof lights on, but when they resumed the film, I guess they forgot to switch the lights off too, and the lights were on for like the first 15 min of the film.

Customer Service is a make it or break it variable. If the product is good but service is sub par, that place wont get return visits.Ive been going to Edwards Cinemas (Regal) was a 4 theater venue in Mira Mesa.. Never had a complaint.Today I have HIGH praise. I had messed up purchasing tickets using their app. I thought I purchasing for one day and I ended up purchasing for the day before. A costly mistake.When I told their customer service what I had done, they made it all good by giving me tickets to a future show. It was my fault and they still took care of me.A+ customer service.

Been here for the second time. Both of my visits have been pleasant and fun. I went to watch the movie, Thor: Ragnarok last night. One of the managers handed me a free collectable coin upon paying for the tickets! So nice! Discount is offered for military members too! This is my new place for movies in San Diego.

This is a great theater. They just put in new seats in most of the theatres and they are really comfortable. Ive watched so many awesome movies here. I really enjoy this place.

Saw Midway. Movie was great and the sound at the theater was superior. Recommend that movie. Unfortunately, there was more than twenty minutes of advertising and previews before the movie. Thats after all the advertising before the start time! Almost like watching a network show on TV. So much for paying to go to the movies!

Oh how Ive missed Regal Cinemas. Prices great, food great (I had cheese fries), great portions and friendly staff.

Mira Mesa Edwards is the literal worst place to go see a movie. I used to go there all the time. Then I started working there. On my first day, one of the managers told me I would soon hate my job as much as he did. The managers refuse to give staff a reasonable amount of breaks. Especially during times when there is a high volume of people. Law requires them to give breaks every 4 hours, however when hired they said we get 10 minute breaks every 2 hours. We almost never did. We have to ask managers for everything. To go to the bathroom, to open the register, to check bills, and they are almost never around. When they are called they are extremely irritated that theyve been called to do their jobs. It is one of the most restrictive places Ive ever worked. The management does not trust their staff to do the jobs they were hired to do. Staff are expected to show up sick or well. Which is completely unsanitary especially for the people working in concessions. Edwards what a lot better and more welcoming before Regal took over. It is a hostile place to work which takes away from the enjoyment of the moviegoing experience.

Clean and fun. definitely my favourite theater for opening nights, as the lobby is very large and accomidating.The folks at the ticket booth are always very friendly.

I have been going to this location since I was a child and have almost never had a bad experience that was related to the theater itself, Mostly just annoying kids who dont understand the concept of respect in a movie and being able to be quiet. There is always parking in the back of the theater and me and friends will frequently meet there before a movie to catch up and chat before heading inside, the popcorn and snacks are always great but also heavily overpriced (to be expected at a theater). They have updated and renovated over the years to stay current and my only complaint would be the amount of ads shown before a movie can get pretty annoying, Other than that 5 stars. and to the woman asking that they turn close captioning on in all the movies because its embedded in the film itself, they show specific CC shows for hearing impaired the rest of us do not want to read our entire movie thanks.

By far one of my favorite movie theaters to go to. I have been going to Edwards for many years and have enjoyed it everytime. They do also serve alcohol beverages if that is something that is a must for you.

Love it here. Always busy but great movie theater. Sadly though, theyre moving from Coka Cola products to Pepsi, definitely going to affect my choice of movie theaters.

One of the great theater in sandiego, miramesa area. Recently they started 4DX immersive cinematic experience. Each chair is equipped with motion simulators and programmed to the film. Inside the 4DX auditorium, motion chairs and environmental effects such as wind, bubbles, and scent work in perfect synchronicity with the action on screen. Ultimate experience

This theater is huge. It has great viewing halls with amazing sound. Prices for movies are pricey.

Had my first 4DX experience and it seemed like the programming for the effects were for another movie.I wrote an email to address this and they told me I could not receive a refund or credit because I did not leave during the performance, because I didnt know I could to receive a refund.They advise you to not talk or to silence your cell phones but they do not advise you that if you would like a refund, you should leave within 20 min as the person said I needed to in the email.

I miss this place, when I went there it was awesome. Hopefully it opens back up again like normal soon.

My most favorite theatre Ive been too in a while. Love how big it is get spacious and enough customer service to help all. Friendly wonderful staff. This is my place for movies!! Not only that around in the area its a great date night place for dinner and a movie.

Good movie theater. They have 4dx, 3D and normal theater. You need to pick the seat in advance. You can ask for the water for free.

Nice clean upscale theater. Courteous management and staff. Always has latest movies. Comfortable seating and ample food and drinks choices.

The organization asked me what was needed to create a 5 star experience. Here is my response: Please provide open captioning to hearing impaired patrons. The captioning is already embedded in the movies you show, so please just turn it on.

The IMAX screen quality and audio quality was good. Not spectacular or what I would expect for the price. The seats are a little larger and cushy but do not recline and sit up too straight, they hurt my back as well as my girlfriends neck. Im not sure how Edwards Cinemas is going to compete with AMC, Angelica, Cinapolis... in the future. For about the same price at these other theaters you get large cushy power reclining seats, beer, wine, cocktails, much more superior food and in some cases even a wait staff. I wont be back anytime soon. You better step it up soon Regal!!!

Even though we live 15 miles from here we love this movie theater. Clean and has all the bells and whistles. No longer going to Escondido Regal which is dirty and run down.

Great open floor setup and roaming people to check you in. Just need the movie quality to improve these days. They also have an interesting subscription service for a month unlimited pass, which is kinda cool

Avoid at all costs! This Edwards Theater oversold tickets and gave away our Star Wars seats when in fact we purchased our tickets and picked our seats the first hour they were being sold way back on October 21 to watch the very first showtime at 6 pm on opening day. Never has this happened to us before. We arrived 20 minutes before the showtime and there were people occupying the seats we picked two months in advanced. All the theater supervisor could offer was for a showtime two hours later in a very tiny auditorium. There were other guests who experienced the same thing and demanded explanation, but the supervisor couldn’t provide any.

The Lion King movie was very enjoyable. The theater was clean and spacious. The seats were plush and comfortable but they would not recline, not even a little. Food was very overpriced.

Nice theatre but the snacks prices are ridiculous and my popcorn was so stale I could not eat it. When I asked how old the popcorn was, the cashier lied and said he had just popped it 9 minutes ago. Really awful - like weeks old.

Consessions are so slow. They really need to improve the flow and they would make much more money. Get there early if you want food/drink.

This is not a true IMAX 70mm theatre. It is an IMAX 2 X 2k Digital presentation not 4k.I am over from the UK and this is the worst IMAX presentation that I have ever seen. The brightness is also poor. The focus is not good as the two projectors are not aligned for perfection.I would avoid this IMAX screen at all costs. If you want a true IMAX experience make sure that they.use a 70mm projector and avoid any IMAX digital theaters. There was also no surround sound or subwoofer. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Pretty big theater, kinda grimey in my opinion. Not very clean and staff isnt really that kind. Movie tickets werent too expensive though.

Love the options for movies. Imax, 4dx and just your standard. The option for food and snacks is about average. I went on a slow day only one other person line for food and it took about 5 mins for anyone to help me and the family behind me.Not sure Id recommend 4DX as it was fun, but the chairs moving so violently I thought it was gonna throw my drink from the cup holder. Also the back of the seat wasnt comfortable at all.

The long wait times (over 20 min) at the concessions for my three movies this week cost the five star rating.

I went here for the first time on December 17th, for the San Diego premier of Star Wars: the Rise of Skywalker. This movie theater is huge. Very fancy, high scale. I felt like I was in a castle. Its colorful, staff is nice, and the bathrooms are very clean. The theater I was in was spotless. The seats are super comfortable, and the sound system is astounding. That 4DX is something else. If youre in the area, or want to see a blockbuster hit movie, in the best arena, go here.

Attend this theatre regularly. Selection of movies and times is always large and accomodating. Fast service at concession stands, and the theatres are large. Seats are well sized so you wont be bothered by those near you. The 4D theatre is interesting, I saw Spiderman: Far From Home there. While it was fun (almost like riding a roller coaster) you may feel nauseous if you arent prepared for all the movement.

Meh. Stadium seating, but thats the only perk here. Seats are uncomfortable, no combo pricing at the concessions for popcorn/soda. Just old and outdated

This theater has big auditoriums, large comfortable seats and the building is kept nice. It is a huge theater so if you are looking for something low key.. this isnt going to be the place you want. They have two pretty awesome arcade areas that my husband and I love! The games are worth it to arrive 20 minutes early before the movie starts. The games they have are Alien, another shooting game (it might be terminator 2), table hockey, some driving games, I think they even have pac man on table and of course claw machines. Very fun place!

Spacious seating and nice concessions

This had to be the dirtiest theater I have ever been in. We went to the 5:10 showing of Frozen on 12/26. The concession counter had popcorn and liquid all over it. Not just one but all of them. It was disgusting. As we passed each theater we noticed each trash can was overflowing, and trash and popcorn all over the floor. This is a nice theater, so it was very sad that it was all trashed up

The new 4DX experience is so much fun! There are parts were you are really rocking and rolling, like in a roller coaster. Really robust movement. The water misting in your face can be kind of annoying because hello this is also a 3D movie experience so the glasses get wet. But the bursts of wind, the lights flashing, the seat buzzing in sync with action on screen is just fun.

Staff are friendly and popcorn is fresh. Keep up the great work!

This is a good theater that had a lot of work being done lately. Undoubtedly, the Regal has the best popcorn around, compared to AMC and Harkins.

Id say its one of the better regal theaters in the San Diego area that Ive been to. Huge lobby, and auditoriums have unique themes. The 4DX here is super clean and nice.

Buying ticket process was very simple no line and very fast. The movie seats were very small and kind of tight but the recliner on the seats is very good but you have to put a good amount of back force to actually decline which kinds of defeats the purpose. But other then that the movie theater was actually very clean.

Clean, good theater, but wish they had reclining seats, seat heaters/coolers, and wifi like some other theaters. Easy to get tickets at the box office and find the theater quickly.

Nice place to see a movie with tons of theaters inside, but not updated for reclining seating in all theaters.

I really like this theater among all the fancy recliner seat theaters, it still has the feel of a real theater. The place is clean and staff is nice. The rewards program is worth it.

Star Wars is coming out again soon. No better place to watch it! Good date night location too with surrounding restaurants within walking distance.

I have been going to Regal Edwards for over a decade now. They have a really clean and comfortable theater, of course with awesome movies to see.

Ive only been there once but I had the best time watching Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The theatre was clean and it was easy to buy the tickets and have them scan my phone, even with out their app. I will go again.

The 4DX was pretty Amazing. A bit on the pricey side but it was pretty cool.

You can upgrade the theater but you cant upgrade the people that go. There is no way to force the people that go to be respectful to others.I loved the upgraded seats and respectful staff. I love the selected seating.

This place is always clean. Otherwise, its a normal theater. Prices for tickets and food could always be cheaper, but its on par with other places.

Great theater, comfy seats (although they don’t have the reclining seats that some theaters have). The screen and sound quality are generally good and they have some imax and RPX screens for big, blockbuster movies. The movies that are less popular or that have been out for a while are relegated to the screens in the wings of the theater, which are smaller than the main screens, but it’s still a good movie experience. The prices for tickets and concessions are high like in most theaters these days, but if it’s a movie you care about seeing on the big screen, it’s generally worth it at this theater. I’ve rarely had a bad experience here. Nice loyalty club with Regal as well.

Regal Edwards is always surprisingly clean and full of polite workers. Out in the waiting portion, there are arcades and cardboard cutouts of movies while someone is in line, which usually moves pretty fast. The menu has a good amount of variety, food, drinks, and candy wise.

First off this theater was way cleaner than most. And they have the 4dx effects built into the seats, it was pretty cool. Gave the movie a different element. Cant wait to see how it is for the midway movie

Wish I could give it 0 stars, Im a plus size person and could not fit comfortably between the bars they put in front of all of the rows, felt very unwelcoming and very embarrassing, had to sit in the front. fat shaming at an all time low, if youre plus size, I wouldnt recommend this theater.

This is my go to movie theater. It has a huge lobby and is usually very clean. Consessions are incredibly slow. Usually a sign of either poor training or supervision. This is an easy fix however, and can be resolved easily during peak hours with dedicated runners for each register. In an effort to compete with the newer, cooler, & trendier theaters nearby, they should consider upgrading all their seating to recline (at the very least). The IMAX screens are the smaller version, so while bigger than traditional screens, not as big as the IMAX screens at the Howard Hughes Center in LA. Think of it as a mini-IMAX. Of course the food is overpriced, but what movie theater isnt. Parking is great if you are willing to drive around for it. Lots of restaurants outside the theater as well.

4DX was really impressive. It only missed 3D glasses (which I knew were not for this movie). Restrooms were clean, and getting tickets was fast, but it was a slow night.

The staff is top notch. The movie QUEEN is deeply moving and powerful!!

4D experience was something special. Seats rock around to the movement of action scenes, theres wind at appropriate moments, and if it rains in the movie, it rains on you(just a little). I enjoyed this very much.

Would be 5 but every now and then I don’t have a good experience, 4DX 3D wind, snow, water, smell wasn’t working with Frozen 2, I used my regal crown club but lost my receipt & ticket, I wasn’t going to get a refund without it; I was only 1/3rd if the way into movie.on another occasion, my parents and I were given a hard time with a refund only minutes after buying the wrong ticket.RPX NO GOOD With BLUE SIDEs BEHIND SCREEN!! Turn that OFF !! It’s DISTRACTING! Other wise supreme format!It’s a shame! Waste of a good format . I will not watch inRPX until fixed and I’ll continue to spread the word.
