This movie theater is one of my favorites, the seats are very comfortable, they recline so you can enjoy the movie. The food court has a great selection of goodies, the menu has many many options and they serve alcoholic drinks. You have the option of purchasing your tickets up front or through a kiosk machine, the restrooms are kept clean . I would definitely recommend to friends and family. You have to check this place out if you haven’t yet !

Theater isnt open quite yet, but restaurant, outdoors seating, is open serving great burgers with classic movies playing on the large screen! Makes for a fun COVID evening out!

If I lived in the L.A. area, this is where I would go to see movies. You pay more for the privilege of an elegant and clean theater, reserved seats, and not waiting in lines. Its like a first class plane ticket, for a movie. If that sounds good, then pay the premium and enjoy!

The Angelika Film Center & Cafe is an awesome place to see a film. The reclining seats are very comfortable, plus you can select your seat either in advance or at the door...so you know where you are sitting.The concessions were great too. The Angelika offered something Id never experienced before, unlimited soda and there was butter available to add to your popcorn....as much as you like.The Angelika also offers beer and wine if you so choose.

Nice theater where you can choose your seats. The seats are very comfortable, with built in automatic reclining. They do serve food and alcohol in lobby. There is outside seating with a fire pit. Staff seem to be hit or miss, some were very helpful others not so much. Overall a great experience.

For a few extra dollars you can get an assigned luxury seat, easy ticketing process and delicious food options. The team at Angelika have great customer service. If you buy a large popcorn you can get an automatic refill and a small box for the kids. Its a great option if you love popcorn! I would not go to any other theater in San Diego unless you live too far away. Treat yourself, the family, or have a nice date night!

I love the leather recliners and assigned seating. Not a huge fan of the two drink max. I understand a maximum but two drinks is too low to be watching a 3+ hour movie.

The screens are not giant, but they have comfy recliners, friendly staff and lots of interesting theme showings.

Wow! How have we not been here before? This place was full of surprises. I highly recommend the upstairs lounge area, if its open. It has a full menu and bar service. We could enjoy some football on the big screen and people watching from the balcony seating. Great selection of craft beer and big portions of food. Dont worry if you cant finish your entrees, you can bring them into the theatre too! Big comfy seats with a swinging arm rest for your craft cocktail and remaining fries!

Beautiful location, the outside has a large sitting area with several heaters and a fire pit. They have different shows and performers out front on most Saturdays. Staff are all very welcoming and courteous to patrons. They are quick to settle and solve any issues. They are also quick to clean messes.

Love the recliners! Clean and modern theatre. Good food from standard candy to burgers and flat bread pizzas. A little snafu on our food order being entered in wrong. But they fixed it. Delivered the food to our seat since our movie was starting. Amazingly good burger, beer and fries!

A wonderful place to watch a movie in true comfort. Power recliners are so comfortable. Theres plenty of leg room. Food and drink is 50% off after the movie. Lots of real food and drink options. And for some reason, popcorn came with a free refill which you can get immediately. Nothing but good things to say.

The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Ive ordered food and snacks almost everytime I come here and it has yet to disappoint. Especially considering its a movie theater. This will always be my favorite movie theater. Their early bird prices are hard to beat, and the free coffee/tea in the morning makes it that much easier. The seats are very comfy and almost fully recline. I dont think I could go to another movie theater after this one.

Lovely modern theater with roomy outdoor patio with options for food and drink. The ONE thing I considered docking a star for are the theater seats which, while certainly a step-up from most with electronic recline and leather covering, consistently lacking back support in my experience. Granted, I am 63 and when considering I seem to be in the minority of movie-goers in height, cannot justify the reduction. I do feel it deserves mention though, for the sake of taller folks or anyone seeking greater back support, particularly lumbar.

This place while a lil pricey is comfy, clean and great service. The seats go all the way back. Havent had food but it looks great.

Had a great dinner and a movie at Angelika Film Center tonight. It was our first time here, but came because they accepted MoviePass and had the limited release of American Animals (which was fantastic). We were pleasantly surprised with how great it is here. Zero stress, super comfortable, no kids kicking my seat, good food.. just all around a very nice atmosphere. We will be back for sure.

Crazy slow at the concession stand. I mean, get there at least 45 minutes before your movie if you want to get any snacks.Theater was cool.

This movie theater has spoiled me! From being able to pick our own seats, having less seats in each theater (and I am short so no heads in front of me anymore blocking my movie screen view), and the seats being very comfortable all add up to a wonderful movie experience. Then after the movie we always stay for dinner which is 1/2 off with our movie ticket, often outside where there is comfortable and cozy seating. There is a good variety of meals to choose from including vegetarian meals and tasty desserts. A great choice if you want a quality movie experience.

Smaller theatres, but more spacious seating. All the seats are comfortable and have an attached tray to place food and drinks. Large selection of beverages and foods at the concession, and the screens are large. Great if you want a less crowded movie-going experience.

This is an awesome place for an upscale night out to see a move. The vegan burger is so good I couldnt believe it was vegan, and the drinks are awesome too. The chairs are nice and comfortable.

I love love love the reclining seats. Also, bringing food to your seat. Definitely not your regular theater. But so much worth it. Morning shows are discounted. Parking is ample. Little courtyard to hangout while you wait ...or if the movie is so bad .lol.

So gone are my days of Chinese-pirated DVDs and grocery-branded sodas, you know, Dr. Thunder and Corporal Cola. Ive finally made it to the big top. I finally watched a movie without hardcoded English subtitles! Ma, I made it! My date even ordered a beer that didnt come out of a can. God is good.

The theater seemed like any old cinema with 2 ticket kiosks and a regular ticket counter concessions ect, they have a nicely maintained outdoor seating area with elaborate heaters, a second level cafe and a full bar, they have a special I believe where you get a hefty percentage off the bar or cafe prices which seems to make up for the California prices on everything. Chairs reclined and have a tray to go along with the seat. Sound quality and picture were up to par

Best. Theater. Ever. Not only do they have the latest titles, but classics and obscure niche movies as well! I saw Sound of Music for the very first time here (magical), but also the Attack on Titan and Boku no Hero Academia movies, too! The seats recline like a villains lairs chair, and also movable TV trays because they serve FOOD and BOOZE. I havent had the food yet, but I did have booze once. It was expensive. But STRONG. So, worth it? Not to mention, you get half off from foods and beverages after the movie (still pricey, be warned)! Worth the extra $$ completely (Go before noon on weekdays for matinees!)

Love that you can pick your own seats for this theatre and all movies before noon are $8.50. Plus, if you decide to have food after the movie, show them your movie ticket and theyll give you half off! Deal is good until 10:30pm same day.

This is a really nice movie theater with recliner seats and a nice food bar where you can get quite a number of different things to eat in the theater. It was very clean and the lines were not too bad. We went the day after Christmas so all the theaters were pretty booked. We had made reservations online a few days before.

This theater is tucked away at the beginning of the shopping plaza. There is ample parking and it was walking distance from several restaurants and shopping stores. The theater itself is newly renovated and has a small selection of films that are shown throughout the day. Tickets are on the more expensive side, but you are rewarded with large reclining leather seats (reserved with each ticket) and a small and intimate theater experience that is perfect for dates and families. The concession serves higher quality food and even has a nice selection of alcohol. The quality and standards of this theater are worth the premium.

Movie experience has been fine the few times Ive gone - overpriced IMO but thats all movies nowadays. But recently I lost my wallet while seeing John Wick 3 and the next day when I come to pick it up its missing all $140 in cash I had and the best answer they could come up with was thats how it was brought to us.Would not recommend losing a wallet there.

We used to live near Carmel Mountain area and Angelika was a fun place for us to go. Very clean and very nice settings. Now we are in LA area and looking back this is a place we miss.

I go to the movies on an average of twice a month, so I was shocked (remember that this is a self-proclaimed high end luxury theater) to be accosted by a rude and aggressive security guard immediately upon entering and demanding that I lift my shirt, presumably to see if I was concealing weapons, or perhaps worse yet, outside food and drinks!! This is a first in all my years of going the movies (and my last at this high end venue.) A rude and horrible experience that befits a $2.00 second-run movie theater located in the heart of the ghetto. Never again!

Overall a good theater, but they have this really dumb thing with the concession stand where the food is half-price only AFTER your movie. How many people stay for food, or anything after a movie? Even if you show them your ticket before going into your movie, you dont get the 50% off. Makes No Sense. I would rather grab a quick bite before going in, sneak some food in, or wait til movie is over to go elsewhere to eat, than have to pay full concession prices. They have lost a lot of food sales from us because of this.

An OK theater. I go there to watch the ballet and listen to the operas. For regular movies, there are better places.

Nice to have a cinepolis like theater near by. The food and beverage option for movies is a plus for us! Nice that it is not a commercialize feel and too big to get lost. Keep your tickets for 1/2 off drinks,etc after you watch your film.

I really enjoy watching movies at this theater. The staff is friendly, the theater is clean and the seats are comfortable. Take advantage of the wake pricing on weekend mornings and enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee.

It is nice to see such a beautiful commu ity finally have such an upscale theater. Good food and sweets choices as well as an impressive array or beverages. Spirits as well. And of course, the actual theater is clean with comfortable seating for a great movie watching experience.

This is a very nice, always clean theater. They take Movie Pass and have really great buttery popcorn. We appreciate that they sell popcorn buckets that can be filled for a low price through the year. Our only issue we’ve had here is that their concession line gets really long and can be very slow.

It’s a little pricey here, but we come about 3-4 times a month and we’ve never had anything less than wonderful customer service from any of the employees, the food is always great, and the theaters are always clean and cozy. So, I personally think it’s worth the price. We prefer this theater over any other in the area.

My first time experience was great. Staff, restroom, theater seats, food court, and area were above my expectations first time visiting. The staff are well groomed, professional, and respectful to the guests. The restrooms were very clean looks almost brand new. The seatings were much better than the average theater the recliner chair and little table for your food and beverage. The food court was even better so many more options than the typical fast food items, healthy deli options and also many more alcohol options. Overall the theater was very well clean had a great experience I would highly recommend on coming if youre willing to spend a little extra for the movie.
