Very beautiful park. Went during the evening so was dark. But could see they did have trails to walk. Bicycle trail also. Had some kind of Zumba or other there. About 7pm.
This Hidden gem is so Peaceful and Beautiful, it also has some very interesting educational history. The Pavilion is Gorgeous and can be Rented out too. The Trails behind the Pavilion are also great for a day on the Trails bike riding or just for a walk. In Texas its VERY common for the River to be shallow and dry but luckily its NOT Summer yet and theres still plenty of water in the River. The landscaping is Beautiful and the Trees give a lot of breeze and wind. Theres also Restrooms to use and wash up if the heat gets you. A lot of the landscaping is related to the the Native American Grasslands. If youre in the area stop on by and enjoy the fresh air.
Lots of room to walk and explore. A review said there are no benches, there are literally benches down and to the left of the park. An amazing place to walk around and stretch your legs (for your kids, too!)
Absolutely beautiful! We parked off of Mitchell rd in the parking lot. The trails are landscaped with amazing indigineous plants and flowers. If youve been encouraged by your doctor to go walking for heart health, this is the perfect place
Very nice and clean. Construction is being done. 0nly to help others get to the lake easier. Should be done soon! Other than that it is sooooooo clean and and very educational. And finally it is a great place to come and exercise with shade and paths leading to different parks and historical landmarks!!
Great place to visit, take in the views. Walk along the river banks, or sit and listen to the water. Check out all the different vegetation growth. Check inside the class room to see how much electricity was generated that day or through the wk. Great space for meetings or night yoga class. Very peaceful and relaxing.
I love going to this park, its so relaxing & its also peaceful as well ️
It’s a great place to have a photo shoot with the amazing architecture as a background. We didn’t go through the trail but we had a great experience just by looking at the amazing architecture. There are restrooms at the entrance of the park which is a plus if you have kids! Everything looked very clean.
Love this place! So peaceful and pretty. Such a great place to visit for walks or to take pictures.
I love that this place is here. The surrounding neighborhood is being renovated so it doesnt go totally with the construction projects happening all around. But this charming place tells the neighbors already living here whats to come: the renewal of the beauty in the area. It says that this place isnt dead, its alive and well. Great place to walk at nice and take the pup for a walk.
The park is a bit misleading as you are driving in, but honestly its a must if you are visiting San Antonio and you like to be outdoors. Itserene and relaxing. A great place for families. We arrived there a bit late as it was getting dark, but we loved it so much that we came back the next morning to see the park during the day time. It was worth the time. We loved cycling through the park.
Wonderful place with ample parking and super nice bathrooms. Clean and well maintained everywhere!!
Yogo on Sunday mornings is spiritual. Beautiful place.
Its a great park to take pictures, take your dog, walk around, and all kind of things. Its also next to the mission trail, so if you want to run or bike for a long distance, you can do that too. Have a beautiful day at the park ️.
The work done by the San Antonio River Authority to improve the area trails, local plants and waterways is extremely beautiful. Growing up in this neighborhood it is very nice to see the park enhanced and made accessible to more activities and the local community. If you havent visited lately, grab your bike, a kayak or your dog and take a stroll, you wont regret it! Dont forget the sunscreen, your glasses and water.
Came out here to meet with some friends and went for a walk on the river. Was stunning to say the least. The water birds are beautiful and the park facilities impeccably maintained. There was a meditation event under the dome which we didnt have time to attend but looked really fun.
I went and took my woman and our kiddo there for a walk and it was very relaxing very popular park.
Love running here or taking my dog for walks. Clean and peaceful. Highly recommended for runners wanting some inclines and views.
Very nice place, clean, nice activities and (free) outdoor movies
Beautiful little trail that connects mission espada and king William. Perfect for biking or exercising and even a nice little walk.
Its a nice place to go for a walk but not really much to interact with and its a small place, maybe good for a couple visits but seems liked missed potential.
Great new renovationsStill under constructionA must visit
The structure looks like a modern art sculpture but when I visited I found out that it actually functions as a means of catching and funneling rain water. Also on site but not pictured is an educational section with different kinds of local wild vegetation. A STEM group was meeting at the time and Ive seen community events posted online also. Thank you SA for investing in the community with places like this. Beautiful!
This sustainable park is gorgeous and so wonderful for the environment. Teachers can schedule field trips here with the help of the San Antonio River Authority. There are trails where you can wall, run or ride your bike.
Nice place
It was my first time there, and wow. I like the way they lable all the plants, gives me an idea for my garden..for a hot day like today there where people out there cause the pavilion stays cool underneath.. I recommend people stopping by atleast once, its beautiful place..Thank you San Antonio for a great place for familys to go relax outdoors and enjoy are river..
Fascinating. Educational. And, beautiful any time of year. If you want to see how to protect our rivers and lakes through the proven use of low impact development or simply want easy access to the SA River, this is the spot.
Very beautiful and relaxing able to walk the river from there
Its nice although its still has some construction going ok
Beautiful sight seeing, neat location to take pictures with the family
Beautiful park! So many places to walk and enjoy the water. My dogs love this park.
MobileOm free Yoga at Confluence Park is offered every Sunday, weather permitted at 10am. I went for the first class of the season and was very pleased with it. Any level of practice is welcomed. Everyone was very friendly and the outdoor setting is perfect to help you find your own inner peace while on the mat.
Beautiful place to take a date or family and stroll along the river!
Take a stroll or jog in the evening to get the most of the environment.
A neat location. Not much to do except use as starting point for a leisurely walk by the river. Nice facility for events and education, clean public bathrooms. Cool project that harvests water by design of buildings, vegetation and cistern.
SWell Cycle hosted PEDAL in the PARK in Confluence Park. Riders fueled up on breakfast tacos, cold brew coffee and other treats prior to exploring the Mission Reach of the Riverwalk. The park was a great setting for participants to try out the new electrified bikes that feel like each turn of the pedal has a turbo boost.
Interesting structures, but a bit strange. Still its something to see.
More beautiful during spring.
New park. Great place to ride your bike or go for a run. I was amazed how much thought was put into the design and architecture. The modern structures seamlessly flow with nature into a beautiful park. The combinatio of native plants and flowers are perfectly placed to save water and stop erosion.
A nice view down the river, but not a lot to do there when we stopped. Some cool architecture in the pavilion itself, with interesting shadows cast from the small holes and spaces built into the structure.
This is a beautiful park alongside the San Antonio river which IJS award winning and designed to be long lasting and water efficient. There is concrete art that provides needed shade and examples of many of the ecosystems in Texas.
Its so beautiful here. I wish it was open
Very nice architecture and regional plant display connected to the Mission Reach
Great place to walk or fish. Definitely coming back soon.
Great place to relax and walk with the entire family.
Great park! Love
Its real nice here
Very nice and clean park really nice restrooms. Overall very nice!
Great place for a bike ride, a run, or a nice walk. Its hot in Texas so plan accordingly.
I love coming to this park to workout! Great place to take family and friends too! Beautiful scenery and very clean park! No homeless people living there from what I saw unlike San Pedro park!
Fantastic little stretch of the San Antonio river. Very clean and quite a few photo worthy spots.
Spectacular place! State of the art design and architecture. So much more than a beautiful place...it’s a model for sustainability and water conservation overlooking the river. A must see.
Still in construction but worth it!Nice Architectural modules!
This park is a cool addition to the SA river. Tons of families taking their kids to walk or ride bikes or simply learn about their environment. The restrooms are nice and there are water fountains at the beginning of the park.
One of the newest parts in San Antonio and its absolutely stunning! We were lucky enough to catch this park during its grand opening and have been out there for several events including a concert by Demitasse.A great use of the land and the displays are top notch. A nice flow of the river helps set up this park to be one of the nicest parks the city. Here are a free pics from the Music at the Park series with Demitasse (Joe Reyes and Erik Sanden of Buttercup).
Great stop, shade and restrooms, if you are out on the riverwalk trail. Parking available.
If you havent been to Confluence Park you are missing one of the most beautiful parks in San Antonio. They also have many wonderful Community classes and events. Check out their free IT Specialist certification class on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. A new class will start in January 2020.
Loved this trail. We even rented a bike!
Nice walkway for a great experience. Summer it was too hot though, that hot that my puppies couldn’t even walk
Loved this park. Very picturesque. Beautiful nature plants. Breath taking trails with natures landscape. There were runners, walkers, bikers all over trails along River walk. Highly recommend!
The wind the river walk, this park u can have an event here, the night b-came Magical!
We loved it
Free tree giveaway was today. It was great. And the bathrooms were well managed and clean.
Beautiful park right off the Riverwalk. Weekends, youll often find outdoor yoga classes going on. Beautifully designed with a focus on ecology (local flora/fauna, water conservation, etc.).
Very nice park with trails running a long the river. Very pieceful trail just right outside of downtown SA.
This was a beautiful Friday to enjoy this outdoors nature walk treasure of the San Antonio River Mission Reach. Plan to make this a relaxing part of my life.
Great Place to go walk and see...
Confluence park is incredible in argiculture and architecture. Every detail of the park references the San Antonio river and native ecology. The park is not a typical park with swing sets and monkey bars, its more a learning walk with lots of shade and access to the river.
I had to give it a star, or else my review wouldnt go through. But it didnt even deserve ONE star!!! Theres nothing to see here, except CONCRETE SLABS!!!Who ever designed this place, must have gotten an F grade, in architectural school!!!Seriously, dont waste your time coming here, theres not even a single bench to sit on.
Beautiful park. Trails, access to water. Clean facilities.
Very clean and lovely. Excellent if u like gardening or admiring flowers of different type. There is a trail for walking, biking, jogging, or skating. There are shaded areas to sit and relax and even to have a small picnic. Ideal for great photography backgrounds or just to take general pics for ur facebook or Instagram.
Nice park to jock.
I love stopping by whenever I can. Very relaxing. The whole park is drought tolerant plants and the concrete structures are to harvest water.
Great views and the weather was great!
Dirty unkempt.City of San Antonio
Very clean, lovely park. Womens bathroom is another story. Large stall was out of order and the small stall was so small it was scarey.
The north end of Mission Reach is very nice. My family and I walked from Confluence Park to the Theo street bridge and back. Go check it out.
Not too much parking. The park itself is very relaxing. Lots of native plants. Metal sculptures.
Great place to walk with the family
Beautiful scenery and the fishing is great
Love the range of views this park gives. Every step has a beautiful outlook. There are plenty of benches for breathers in case you get tired and a nearby park if your with littles.
Amazing architectural pieces. Beautiful place for watching sunset. Great tracks for walking, biking and hiking. Saw the serene side of San Antonio river and walked alongside it. Would visit again.
Cool structures! Has a trail down by the river
Great place to start the mission trail!
This park is absolutely amazing. Dont be scared of the neighborhood because everyone is friendly and amazing. Its a must visit San Antonio attraction
Customer service was not good
Such a nice quiet place with great sculptures. Nice walks beside the San Antonio River.
Great place for pictures
The park was well kept and looked new. It had a new water faucet Im bottled water filler. San Antonio is also doing their yoga and sports there.the park would be great for the family and dogs to walk around with to enjoy The view because there is many tracks in the open not in the forest. So all together yes this park its not the best but it is great and I would recommend anyone to go visit it.
Beautiful. Peaceful. Gods beauty
Beautiful place to exercise
This is a really cool place! The pavilion is unusual, a must see! I went there for a photography seminar.
Its so beautiful and I love nature thats why i love it!
A beautiful place to start a hike, bike, skate or journey of any form on the Mission Trails
Open air. Water bottle refilling station. Cool in the summer
Nice and full of natural beauty, love to take pictures here
They really fixed up this place! Love the trail here ️
Really nice place get away and enjoy the native plant live and soothing San Antonio river
