Great birding park, wonderful hiking trails, I love older forests. They have so much personality and are home to a wide variety of winged species.

Was at a baseball tournament. Fields were in Good shape but could have used some level up at the plate area. Concession stand food was also good

Its a great place for fishing, always stocked with different fish, a great place to cookout, it has a good playground for the kids, and a great place to feed the ducks.

District 3 senior center here. Great facility, location, and people. Easy access by VIA bus # 28 or by foot. Very safe. Secure facility. Open 5 days a week.

Pitching mounds are dilapidated, and falling apart. Fscility is nice. Needs some care.

I love the all the trails n the sky line at night if u go to the end of the trail u can see the whole park.

Great park for a run. Typically busy with fishing at the lake.

The large pond and and view and path were nice they have a nice playground

Great area that the City is still improving. The dog park is one of the best in the City and the Senior Center is a great place for our seniors.

Well when I first discovered this park is was through my then CLW Sandy and 4 years later Im still going. You really have to go there to experience the feeling. You can meet some interesting people but you also have therude ones. Its a very nice well kept up in cleanliness. And again you have the disrespectful people that leave their mess behind with no consideration towards others. But with all said its a great place for the entire family.

30 year later this park still the same, what they could do is add table, more parking for off curb park,

Love My Neighborhood Park. Such a shame they left the sidewalk to the New Senior Center crooked and uneven being dangerous for Seniors

Fun and relaxing place to be all the time

Great park for my little ones the community center has restrooms and there is a good amount of parking spots there was tons of kids of different ages so everyone found a buddy even the adults were having fun.

Best place to go for a walk . Especially because they opened up some new trails.

This park is under rated. Love the track around the main park.

Heart place for kids play ground running and party plenty ducks. They added adam and new features removed skate.

Lots of space for sports, many fields!. I was there for football, but I saw kids playing baseball as well. There was Police presence, which made me feel safe. They were ticketing illegally parked cars, so make sure you are parked legal. Those cars were on the sidewalk, duh. There is a restroom by the baseball field, I didnt use it so I cant tell you if it was clean or not. The football field that we were at was clean and clear of trash.

watch for needles on floor water can be a bit stain at times... friendly folks out fishing good size catfish if youre lucky weenies is a plus guaranteed catch... and good people trying to keep it clean.

Awesome place for a walk or to jog. Trails that lead down to the other Park. Nice Quite dog friendly park.from tracked trails to paved trails, bike riders will enjoy as well. Located behind Highland highschool on Meadow Lark and Hiawatha.

Very happy to have a dog park on the East side of town! It is well maintained, looks safe, though both lights for evening usage, (hope lights are coming) and is really a nice addition to the park.My video is from the parking lot to the inside of the fenced area...just so you can make an informed decision to bring your fur babies or not.I hope you do. I was hoping my furbabies could meet new friends but they were alone ..My video didnt post here..but I posted it on the general park screen

Nice football field

The park is nice however I don’t take my kids much. There are a lot of vagrants and others just sitting in the pavilions getting drunk. As I stated this is not an environment children should be around.

Great park, it is clean and very quiet. A good place to fish.

Across from the entrance on pecan valley is the senior center, around the back of that is a dog park thats very convenient for my family. Its sectioned into two sides, one for small dogs and one for big dogs. It also opens in the center section through a gate to allow more space if needed for your pets. Our also provides trash bags to clean after your pet as well as a water fountain for you and your pet. Benches are available with shaded areas. Its a great spot for our pets and very welcoming community as well. Thanks for the experience, we will continue to take our pets there.

Excellent little fishing spot ! Valero down the street has bait worms. Quiet & well maintained.

Bike riding jogging, playground and scenic views of the ponds. Its great. Especially the fishing is great for the kids. Plenty of catfish to go around.

Benches to sit on while the dogs play. Just the right amount of trees to provide shade. A nice water fountain for both dogs and owners. Well maintained. We have enjoyed it everytime we have visited.

Went to visit a friend He loves the center. It is very clean and bright and happy.

I enjoy walking around the lake, then heading through the back wonderful nature trail leading to Comanche park, which if you have time connects behind Martin Luther KingPark and then by the Willowwood Golf course. Every now and then I head to the nature trail up the hill across the street (Pecan Valley), visit the overlook, and maybe even take some laps around the track.

Fun wish there was more options for smaller children

I grew up here, so I think I like this park due to pure nostalgia, but it is huge and there is often patrol and curfews which is very big deal! You can even throw a big party here.

This place is a great local spot. Nice walking trail around a small lake that is stocked with fish. Playground and picnic areas available for reservations. To me its a cool place to chill out. Been going here for over 40 yrs.

Be wary of the people driving cars. They are often distracted on phones or enjoying the scenery, but the real trouble are impatient drivers. Vistas are wonderful! And people need to learn to pick up their trash or even others when it flies into your area. Smh make sure you try fishing when they refill the pond!

I try to take my grandkids and spend time with them. Enjoy your family time.

Hours said open 5 am. Been sitting here a while and its 7:25, still not open. Same thing happened Friday Nov 30th when the stocked the pond. Fished here three times since they stocked and no one around me caught a thing (approximately 25 people). I used worms, corn, hot dogs, lures- not a bite. Nice park though, clean and quiet. Nice trails and places for kids to play.

Nice place for My jogging.

Its close enough to the home its like having that large pool in my Own back yard and the nature trails make it nice when you need time alone.

Its a good place to run and has places for you to rest and do exercise

Over look of the soutgside is my favorite part of the whole park. Awesome fishing and good places to picnic.

We were at events for seniors giving awards, the mayor was there it was a great day.

People working the front desk in the community center/gym are so nice and helpful!

Plenty of fun in the pool with lots of activities and paths to walk and Explorer in and around the area. They go above and beyond to make sure that the children and everyone there are safe and well fed with snacks and plenty of drinks amazing place to have an awesome time the hours vary.

Clean, cold, spacious what else could you want? Usually an ice cream truck outside woth decent prices.

The park is nice for walking n jogging. The agencies were here helping needed families with all kinds of information. The babies in the strollers, the children with the families....though the weather was a bit cold early morning, it gradually warmed up. Wonderful event. I love it.
