This was an amazing park with lots of trails and a kind of serene likeness to it. Went here for photos and had a great time with taking them in different locations that provided great depth and awesome background. Outside of that the park was inviting from roller blading, to biking, to taking an easy afternoon stroll, its a perfect fit for a nice day at the park no matter what activities you have planned.

A little underwhelming, to be honest. More of a picnic area with a short nature trail. The din of nearby highway traffic kind of takes away the joy of nature immersion. A little disappointed with the size. Definitely not a hiking trail. More of an evening or early morning stroll.

This trail was great for running and walking. The treeline scenery was amazing. Easy access to parks and trails and plenty of parking for visitors. The soccer complex is paved and 1 mile marker for distance. Highly recommend a visit.

Decent park, but some of the soccer clubs go out of their way to throw beer cans all over the place after the game. Especially field 2 Friday and Sunday evenings. They also are menacing to other park users, blocking the sidewalk and making lewd comments to passerbies.

I was looking for a midpoint to meet a teacher friend to give her gifts for teacher appreciation week and my husband suggested this place. We thought about walking after the meeting too so we thought wed check this place out.Its a very spacious place and full of shade. There were so many trees to provide the shade. Plenty of parking spaces. Many were out with families to picnic and celebrate Mothers Day. The picnic areas were definitely a good social distance away. The river had very clear waters and looked pristine. The sad part was seeing the amount of trash by the river banks. Not sure if it was swept there during the rain or if people visiting the park, left the trash. Either way, it was a sad sight to see. This park has a section for a sports complex. I didnt walk into that area to have a closer look. Its a park to enjoy picnicking with family and friends. I wouldnt really recommend it for walking trails. The only noticeable path I saw was next to the street.

My fiance and I started biking the trail here and it seems to be very nice, especially for beginners. There is some trash in the creek but the park seems to be clean overall with plenty of trash cans and recycle bins. Creek should really be cleaned up because its beautiful out here.

This area has a variety of places for sports. It also is a park with tables and benches to relax. A paved trail runs the length of the basin. On this trail you will see people walking, jogging, roller blading, and biking. A creek also runs through the basin providing scenic views. Two minor problem are along the creek you will often see trash. One other problem part of the basin is along a busy hi way and the noise can be disturbing.

Great spot for walking/jogging. Usually quiet. Although there are bbq pits, along with picnic tables. There is an updated playground for the kids. Across the road are the fields. Baseball, soccer, flag football. Kids football leagues. I myself had the pleasure of practicing, along with game days. Playing Rugby on those fields. Surprisingly not many restrooms, though seems adequate.

I loved the convenient location and the cleanness of this park. But too many dogs not on leashes and so not safe for children. Last year while my husband was jogging a small dog came up from behind and in between my husbands feet, causing my 75 year old husband to fall forward on his face. Skin peeled off on his palm...broke his glasses, and scraped his face. Dog owner did apologized and kept jogging with his precious dog. Yeah, this is a dog park....

14 June 2019 Olmos is in the best shape I have ever seen it and I have seen it a lot and live very close by. Greens are in very good condition and the fairways and rough are well manicured. Compliments to the entire staff and crew. If you wish to play a premier course in San Antonio you certainly have options, but for the price and the condition Olmos is in right now it is a bargain and it is in an excellent location close to many amenities.
