Great place to visit. Bring the wife and kids. Play some football, hide and seek, run around, ride a bicycle or just take a stroll. Park has some picnik tables and clean restrooms. It also has lots of shade in many areas. Thanks to the parks employees. The park is clean and well kept.

I love this park. Perfect for any age. Picnic tables under huge trees made it even more enjoyable. Bathrooms are near by. Just wish the slides had coverage from sun. The slides are AWESOME but didn’t get to slide on any of them because it was too hot(12pm). The creek needs to be clean out. Tires and trash. The creek IS beautiful though. Binoculars were faded and couldn’t see through them. OVER ALL A GREAT PARK!! Keeps the kids entertained longer because it was such a large playground!

Descendants of Alamo Eye Witness Juan Vargas (1795-1910) Reunion held at Comanche Park #2. Believe I heard estimates of between 500-600 descendants attended, of which my husband and I attended. The park is great. Plenty of parking, pavilions and various booths and large paved areas, one with bleachers where panoramic pictures of the many families were taken.

Be aware that on the playground right now there is a bunch of holes in the mulch. Its not snakes or spiders or anything like that, its just squirrels. It rained a few weeks ago and the mulch is nice and cool still so grub are hanging out right under the surface of the mulch and dirt on the bottom. So dont take your kids there and freak out because theres holes all in there and you think that theyre snakes because its just the squirrels

Ive driven by this place several times but have only gone in once when a club that I belong to decided to host an event here. It was quite nice. The pavilion that we rented was situated off a road that goes nowhere but the pavilion so it was pretty private. The park was clean and active but not over crowded. It did take a while to find where we were suppose to go. I wish there was better signage.

Nice place for a large gathering. Park staff was so polite and extremely helpful. The facilities are well kept and spacious. The outside activities/equipment--well maintained. Price for reservation comparable.

Nice little park on the southeast side has a kids play ground,picnic tables,restrooms,nice area for kids to run around and have some fun.From Comanche Park you can walk to Lions Field or go up to J Street and LMK Park and if your up for it you can keep on walking plenty of signs letting you know which way you are going and what parks you are going by.Give it a try and have some fun with some excercise or just having fun with family and friends.Stay safe and enjoy.

I enjoyed this place a lot, great people around with many enjoying the music and the amenities in the park!!!With the 54 Anniversary of the KEDA Jalapeño radio station and the many Conjunto bands that came to celebrate this great Radio Station, the people just had a blast Dancing and singing with the Conjunto Artists!!! BUENO-BYE!!!

Great area to enjoy anything from concerts to picnics with the loved ones. Plenty of parking, and restrooms are within a short walk. Salado creek runs thru the park and adds a very scenic and natural view to the experience.

Great Place for Events and a great location.

I went to the Juneteenth Festival sponsored by Budweiser. The event was free, you just pay for food and beverages. The Clue was the band playing, they had some acoustics issues which took away from their performance. Some karaoke was done and some of the people really could sing. Later the group Brick played and they were fantastic. This was a family friendly event. We had the barbecue plate which was $8.00 my husband enjoyed it but he said it wasnt worth $8.00. Eventually, they ran out of regular beer, all they had left was Mangorita Beer. Nice event.

The bully dog show was excellent their lavatory facilities were clean.

I went to the Annual Juneteenth Festival by the San Antonio Juneteenth Association. This was a very clean environment and well secured. It was nice seeing lots of people dancing and listening to the music. Lots of food booths and great fried fish and EXCELLENT BQ. The Band Brick was in concert and we all had a great time.

Great park with great trails. If you park at the library, you can head straight in or get the benefit of visiting the small playground there first that is always full of kids.

Its a very safe clean park to go to and there always having dome kind of festival and free stuff for kids.

I like this park because its all shaded and has a big playground, basketball court and swings.

A nice park. Great for gatherings or events where you need a nice sized space. The building can be rented out and has bathrooms, a kitchen, and a very good working AC.
