We went yesterday and had a fun time but I was at a point where I got very overwhelmed and stimulated by loud noise and flashing lights. I just wanted to give a shoutout to the staff members who not only showed me the way out but who also checked on me and they went above and beyond:) maybe I’ll come back I don’t know not too bad for my first haunted house ever

I went yesterday and it definitely was not worth the money I paid there were about 5 actors maybe through the whole thing and at the end one of them screamed I want to go home already. It was the end of their shift and I guess they werent trying anymore. I was disappointed because we went 2 years ago and was alot scarier the last time.

Actors really seemed to enjoy their job. Nothing really scary for adults but was still fun to walk around. It was cool inside the building and the path clearly marked. The only thing that kind of bothered me was the car that honks at you when entering was VERY loud and made my ears ring.

If youre planning on going i would suggest getting the 3 attraction deal. I personally feel like it was worth it! Absolute favorite was the haunted house attraction buy the Guinness world record was pretty neat and the Tomb Rader was a nice touch too! With the Tomb Rader it allows you to get off your feet, be in the AC and shoot at some bad guys. Worth it. As far as the haunted house goes, if youre planning on taking kids, just remember that they are meant to get scared- so they will be. My 11 year old ended up crying from fright even though shes typically a horror movie buff. It was a great time and it was right across the street from The Alamo so gives you a great way to get out of the Texas heat and still make some memories. Perfect for some family time. I carry a hand sanitizer on my purse and I would recommend carrying one around yourself too. There are still several Hands on activities that can be done throughout the Guinness world record and the Tomb Rader attraction and although they do have sanitizing stations its always better to carry your own if youll have to be holding drinks or snacks like I was. You will need to be wearing a mask but theres pretty good AC and you wont feel stuffy. Overall would highly recommend incorporating into your plans while in San Antonio! Stay safe and have fun!

The overall experience at this location was amazing. The set design was incredible and the actors were great. It was scary enough for my group and I to enjoy. What made the experience even better was afterwards at the photo counter. The worker (his name was Mark I believe) was very professional and efficient in finding our pictures. He provided great customer service and went above and beyond in finding our pictures out of a thousand others and some technical difficulties. Would come again.

This was pretty much my first “haunted house” and it was pretty fun. I feel like if you scare easy then it would be amazing. A lot of the props were creative and the staff we met did a good job. They say no light sources allowed in there which people may have a problem with but it would just ruin the experience of you disobeyed the rule.

Kind of hokey but it was still lots of fun. It’s a walk through haunted house, you don’t ride through in a cart. It’s mostly animatronics, but there are a few actual human actors who might surprise you as you’re walking through. Not too scary but they did get a couple of good gasps out of us. I really can’t tell you much more without spoiling it for you. They will try and up sell you to add discounted tickets for the Tomb Rider ride next door - but DONT do it. First of all, because it SUCKS, but second of all, if you resist the first offer of $10, they’ll offer it to you for 99 cents.I read the reviews for Tomb Rider before I went, so I already decided I wasn’t going to do it. However, when they let me in for 99 cents, I figured I’d go for it. But DON’T pay any more than 99 cents for it, I’m telling you right now.

Not worth the money. We went on a Friday around 3pm and only 2 actors throughout the maze. First guy giving us the story seemed thst it was his first time speaking in front of people. This place never fails to be entertaining. Great place to visit if you havent been before, or have never really read any of the Ripleys books (or watched the show religiously, as I did growing up). The haunted house is not very clever in design & the actors are the only unique part of the haunted house that makes it relevant to the community. The management is pretty bad & would not recommend working as a actor since most actors get ran off by management that is closed minded or show very little respect for there employees.

Ripleys Haunted Adventure Rocks! It had been one of the first Haunted Houses of its kind. I really enjoyed this one because unlike seasonal haunted houses this one has actors year round that have perfected the art of surprise and haunt! Get into it, let yourself go, and awaken your inner adventurous self! The Vertigo Room is a MAJOR TRIP! I would keep going through that room alone if I could. Whenever you get to it, let all the other guests walk ahead of you until they are no longer visible in the Vertigo room to best feel the room. Without other guests standing in front of you, you truly feel like your getting pulled in! :D

Short but well done for ahaunted house. Our whole family went including 4 kids as young as 2 years old. Most of it is done with animatronics so it wasnt to scary. There were multiple places someone would come out to scare us, but they quickly realized we had young children and toned it down accordingly. This was easy to accomplish as the entire haunted house was ran by only 2 employees. They control the timing of the groups and have hidden passages to get from one area to another so the 2 employees could scare you 3 or 4 times each in different spots. With this approach the 2 employees knew the group pretty quickly. Fun without being too scary for kids.

This place was ok until the end. A girl at the end came out and hit me and slapped the phone out of my hand and said stop recording. When we first got there, they never said we couldnt record. All they said was no flash photography or flash lights. They tell tell you the staff cant touch you, but apparently some people are exempt from it. If you cant record, they should say it at the beginning. When you tell the management that the staff touched you and threw your phone, they dont care! But if you say or do anything, you are in the wrong. I would not recommend this place because they say you cannot be touched, but they do it anyways. ITS A SHAME THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE BAD REVIEWS. YOU WOULD THINK THIS PLACE WOULD CARE ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE THINK. ITS TIME FOR NEW MANAGEMENT.

My family and I decided to go down to San Antonio for the river walk, and some exciting adventures and great places to eat,and fun activities. If you want to go to the Ripleys haunted adventure you have to pay,(of corse) a rediculousely amount of money. You get a choice to pay for just this ride or you can pay for all of the rides, but dont worry because it is TOTALLY EXPENSIVE! 53.00! To me thats a little out of my budget, so I got the package with just the tomb rider, Ripleys haunted adventure, and the Guinness records, after an exciting 20min. At the records we moved on to the Ripleys haunted adventure, my family and I were pretty excited to go on that ride, as soon as I got there, there was a pretty creepy picture of a vampire that made me second guess this ride.So my family and I walked into the line and went under a stair case type and got a horn honked at us that scared all of us! (Well me anyways) After a shock out of that we all got in a basket that would carry you to the top. We got in with a few other people too. I was freeking out! I was soo scared because you could see at the top of the stair case was pitch black!!! So the basket carried all of us up there and we got out of the basket. I was freaked out by that! So we are walking and get leaded by a man wearing all black and had his face painted like a zombie. So we followed him into a very smelly room, and then into another, and then we were on our own, we walk into a room where there is loud music playing, cut off legs, bodys heads, meat from pedestrians hanging from the ceiling, I am freeking out!! I do not like it at all, there was a man that was dressed in ripped up clothes blood on him, and very scary make up, screaming and making gross eating noises, so I feel like I am going to throw up and take the emergency exit to get out of there. I finally got seated down and was fine. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS UNDER 12. TRUST ME IT WAS VERY SCARY. It almost ruined my day, so take my word on this, if you are a fraidy cat DO NOT DO THIS!!!! If you love to get scared and like all this stuff you should go. I really hope you found this review as helpful as I think it is! If you go have a nice time!
