Great park for a family time. Very quiet, relax, clean and beautiful place. On a few steps has the San Antonio River. You can enjoy the beautiful view or just take a walk by the river. Can bring your dog and celebrate SMALL b-days (10 people or less due to COVID-19 ).

Such a nice place to just hang out ride your bike or even to play catch with your furry baby(s).

Always nice to take a walk with my kids by the river. Never had any bad comments bout this park nor the ppl o have met here.

It was a very nice park to walk in and through down to the San Antonio river. The playgrounds and certain areas are blocked off at this time during covid.

This will now be a regular spot we will be visiting. My baby girl lost her best friend recently here. She was a beautiful, vibrant, bubbly, young lady that was full of life. She was taken too soon from everyone. May she now rest in peace and watch over all her family and friends. She is an Angel. We love you Raylina.

A few new art installations have added to the beauty of the Mission Reach Trail projects. I have enjoyed this extensive network walking trails with my dogs for a few years now and have been grateful that the city invested in the communities health in this fashion. Along the way are several parks to take children too, accesses for fishing and kayaking (which I have yet to try) easy street access if you need to exit the trail quickly. Just the ability to commune with nature and remove myself from the stress of day to day activities - in the middle of the city, and in a generally quiet and peaceful area has been a lot of fun! I believe the trail begins in the middle of downtown by the King William area and goes all the way to 410 South around Mission Espada.

Nice looking park. Has a playground for kids, restrooms at the entrance, nice shaded areas for picnics. Great place for parties except moonwalks arent allowed.

Padre park 1 and 2 located side by side and next to mission county park are nice . I often walk my dogs there . Sometimes I do see homeless sleeping in the pavilion areas and recently I’ve seen sheriff and police out there drive around in morning hours . Just be safe watch your kids and vehicles when you’re out there anytime there’s a park system in place there’s bound to be homeless hanging around and some crime as well. I know because it’s happened to me .

Great place to just relax. This beach is clean and quiet all you hear and see is nature. There is no cell phone service out there. I think thats why I like it so much. I cant help but giggle when my grandkids are walking around trying to get signal!

I love the picnic area and restroom access. It is good for running, cycling, skating and more.

Free access, public bathrooms, maintained pavilion with garbage cans, paddling access point, shore fishing and wide open space.

Nice park to jog around and the kids to play. Only thing I cant stand is the abundance of daily weirdos. There really needs to be something done about some of these guys who linger and seem to watch people, especially the youth males, because theres been times where I need to ask someone what they keep looking at and staring at for them to leave.

It was Fantastic its a great place for Family Reunions or Gatherings that is what we celebrated a Family Gathering this is my Third year doing it at Padre Park

Easy launch for kayaking

District5 center visits often for functions. Include holiday celebration, runs, cookouts. Beautiful location, facilities, close proximity to center and to where we reside. Park is. well staffed, maintained and secure.

This park is great for family reunions and any type of gatherings. Its all in one area, hugh pavilion, kids playground, baseball field one side, 2 basketball courts and large enough to set up volleyball net. Its an amazing park to get together and celebrate it all in one area with enough parking space. It has its own restrooms in area as well.

Absolutely without a doubt will be a lifetime memory time spent here,Gorgeous park hidden away thankfully. Neighborhood favorite for sure

This is a beautiful place took the kayaks out here two days in a row one weekend. Its a clean park good for bike, riding, walking, dog walking and as I mention kayaking or to have pictures taken I would even say.

Playground for the kids, quiet spots, walk, run or bike the mission reach, kayak down the ladder, picnic ... this park has something for just about anyone but a coach potato!

Its a nice quiet place to relax and chill barbecue and drink some beer they let you drink beer no glass containers plus you can fish out there

This is right next to Mission county park. Its also kept clean and tidy. This is an awesome place to visit when it rains and the river rises, because you get to see the usually calm river water turn into a roiling, churning force of nature! Good to bike and hike along the river walk trail!
