The theater is older, but they did an excellent job of installing the reclining chairs. Since it is an older theater, I’m going to go easy on the decor and call it classic.The cool part is the staff was friendly and helpful when purchasing concessions. During the time went, it seemed like we were the only people buying snacks. They had everything in abundant supply, so no empty snack shelves.We even saw the staff sweeping behind the counter, which shows the managements attention to cleanliness.All in all, it was an excellent theater to see a show. Went to see Little Women. Good movie. Seats are recliner type, very comfortable. Popcorn was crunchy & lots of butter like I like it. Close to where I live. What more can you ask for, other than less expensive treats. But prices are up everywhere.

I like going to this theater. If youre looking for more food choices this place isnt for you. The seats are comfortable recliners though. I gave it 3 stars because the movie went black during the show. We waited 10-15 minutes for the fix. They couldve offered a 10% discount at the concession while we waited but instead they asked us to stay seated. What?! I got up anyway to walk the hallway and make a call. Dont worry about what Im doing, you have more important things to worry about. Lol The Upside is its close to restaurants and isnt too crowded. Good for a first date.

Love this theater! Easy access, plenty of parking, great selection of movies and of course plenty of room to spread out in the theater to recline and enjoy the show. I love going on rainy days!

I only go to the movies now to see a movie in 3D. The last 4 (four) times Ive been to this theater I had to leave the movie and miss a portion of it to remind personnel that the 3D feature was not being displayed correctly (discolored and not 3D). This is no exaggeration. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES TO REMEMBER TO SET THE MOVIE FOR THE PROPER 3D MODE. We all make mistakes and forget things but 4 times in a row just says they simply do not care.

This Movie Theatre is one of the best in Elk Grove in my opinion. It has a variety of food options with popcorn, any drink you can think of and an endless amount of candies in stock. The seats were spotless went I went with my family to watch Frozen 2 just recently. They have reclining seats with cup holders that will just make your movie experience even better.

To get the Tuesday deal for movies you have to join the regal reward program now. :/ Otherwise nice theater for elk Grove.

Although the theatre upgraded the seating for the theatre, they seemed to have missed upgrading the projector. After the advertisements played we sat in a dark theatre for almost 30 minutes before the movie started. No compensation was offered, except to refund our money if it ran into time for the next movie to start.In addition, we ordered popcorn without butter but it came covered in butter and stale.

This place was and always will be the worse threater ever. When I was younger I got food poisoning from the popcorn and had to go to ER a few years later I eat their pizza which was good the first time but the second time it was freezer burnt then today we where giving bad seats to close and at an angle from the big screen and my mom ate stale corn dogs and sat in an uncomfortable chair which didn’t help her back problem it seems that every time we go here it’s just one bad experience after another and of frozen 2 wasn’t playing here I honestly wouldn’t have gone

The best part was the plump recliner seats, which was very comfy! What I didn’t like was that this movie theatre isn’t stadium seating; all the seats were on 1 flat level. I prefer the different levels of seating. In addition to this, there is only 1 aisle to go up and down. I wasn’t aware of how the room layout was when I reserved my seat and sat next to the wall, which isn’t bad, but then you have to walk across everyone’s view just to go to the restroom or get food. Sit next to the aisle if you get up for things

O where do I start.. lived in elk grove for 15 plus years. The theater barely changed.. seats are good but thats about all thats changed... There was no orderliness to their food lines it was pure chaos and there was no ticket checker. We could of just walked in for free.. we got our favorite seats in the rear left of theater 4 and they left the lights on shining on us the hole movie.... made for a poor movie night.. will never go back. Told 3 different employees to turn the lights down and it never happaned..

It wasnt crowded. Staff was friendly and service was very good. Seating was very comfortable. Saw It: the 2nd chapter. It had its scary moments.

Super nice seats. Very comfortable. We were in theatre 4 with my elderly mom. The handicap (for lack of a better word) seats are right when you walk in theatre 4 so it saved a lot of time and effort for my mother to be seated in just a few steps. The concession stand service is very slow. Maybe it should be a four star, however, its a five because my mothers comfort level was awesome.

Always neat and clean. Usually good service. I purchased my ticket online so I did not have to trouble with lines. However, this visit there was a disappoint. There was no one at the front desk to meet, great and check your ticket. With there being one at the front to check electric ticket. Had to go back outside to be told there is a table set up inside (it should have been posted).

Good seating! Small rooms good environment; unfortunately had second row seats due to a new release. Did not have any issues second row was far enough behind that it did not become troublesome. No issues enjoyed the movie.

I use to work there about 20 years ago. It was one of the best jobs I had back in college. Back then, we got free movies, popcorn, and soda. Good times. Im not sure how the employees are treated now days, but they seemed happy to be there.

They finally got lounge seats. The 3D showing tonight did not have assigned seating. We got to choose our seats for now. I am sure this will change soon. The seats already have their rows and seats on them.This theater like the other stays busy especially during diecount Tuesdays. They host a lot of blockbusters requiring lines prior to seating for them so buy tickets ahead of time for these.

Basic movie theater experience. Theater was dirty with sticky floors, restrooms were a mess. Snacks are over priced. People on their phones during the movie. No staff enforcing rules. But, the movie was good.

Walked in about 10 minutes to 7 pm yesterday. No one was selling tickets！No one seemed to want to help！ Some people simply walked in for a free movie. Very strange.

Well been going there since pretty much when it opened. We lived in the area and it was great to see the movie theater. It is a nice place to go and see movies. They have kept up the place nicely. The people are nice and helpful and most of the times the theaters are clean. Once in awhile when I go on there they are not very clear but that is not the fault of the people who clean the theater it is more along the lines of the patrons acting like pigs. Keep up the good work guys.

Theater was clean and the seats are comfortable. They have assigned seating which I love. You get to a certain age and waiting hours in line to get a good seat is just not fun anymore.

They now have lounge style seating and choose your seat. The visibility lines are improved by b this change. Employees are friendly and helpful. Will be going back again after an absence. I had been choosing other theatres, but the remodeling has made this a more pleasant experience.

Staff are very friendly. Auditorium 9 sound system is very low. Auditorium 4 is the best.

This has become my go to theater. The theaters have been remodeled and since have been maintained. Sound is not so loud your ears ring, it is well balanced and has good presence. The bathroom is kept clean, big plus for me. Screen 10 has a defect near the center of the screen that I find very distracting. I hope that gets fixed soon as I really dont want to see another picture in there until it is. The concession staff is in no real hurry, so give yourself some extra time to get food if you want that.

All movie theaters need the recliners! This place was awesome. Can get a glass of wine or some beer. I liked it. Quite comfortable

Havent been to the movies in a while, and the last movie theater I was in was nothing like this one. We would have to get there real early to get good seats and the lines were always so long. But this place is amazing!!! Reclining seats, you get to pick your seat before you go in, you get more than just popcorn, hotdogs, and candy to choose to eat. The room around your seat where your feet are is more spacious, and Im partially disabled so I have more than adequate seating. We will DEFINITELY be coming back!!!

My husband and I finally saw spiderman and even though it was a small theater, we had the place to ourselves and the chairs are very comfy!!

The theater is nice clean and comfy with self adjusting reclining chairs. The only reason I did not give this place five stars is due to the young staff that work concession areas. Ive been to this movie theater twice and on both occasions the young staff take forever to help you behind the counter with your popcorn snacks and refreshments. A lot of movement behind the counter to make it seem like theyre doing something or the line just keeps on getting longer and longer. I purchased my drinks and snacks using a app so that they would be ready for me in time for me to enjoy the movie. Even after prepaying for the snacks and refreshments ahead of time they still took 15 minutes to hand me the container of popcorn and a large soda unacceptable if you ask me.

We went on a weekday when it was fairly dead, so it may not have been a good gage as to what it would have been like on a popular time.Regardless, the theatre itself was well designed, great, new leather seats! I would only probably flag the staff as they were a bit apathetic to what we were asking of them.

So Ive been water fasting and I didnt want it to hold me back from being around people eating. So me and a friend went and had a good time, it didnt affect my fast, I simply enjoyed the movie. I love that the theaters have the recliners. Anyone in the process of releasing weight, dont be afraid to enjoy life still. Your will is stronger, stay strong .

The theater is really nice and the recliners very comfortable. It was clean and the staff at the concession stand and the girl who helped us with our online tickets were very friendly. But, the man at the door taking tickets as we got our of our movie was very rude. We all made our usual stop a the bathrooms before leaving, we were a large party of 7 and he just stared and glared rudely at us. Im not sure if its because were supposed to be on our way when the movie lets out or what. But while he was supposed to be taking tickets from those coming in, he was eyeing us like we were doing something wrong.

Staff didnt have much liveliness, but the quality of our movie we watched and the surround sound was amazing. The place was empty when we showed up so definitely the sooner the movie time the better.

I havent been to the theaters in awhile. Didnt realize you reservations for seating. It was a very pleasant surprise to find the seats fully recline. The only downside is that there is not much of a variety in the menu. Very basic choices. The staff was very patient and understanding.

Its a nice movie theater but not the best. The seats are really comfortable and they recline but I feel compare to other theaters its really small I feel like it would be better to make it bigger by adding more seating. The food is really cheap so a visit here to watch a movie wont break the bank

I was reluctant but I gave the theather another chance after a friend said it was improved. They were correct. The new recluners are awesome. It was clean. Service at the concession was faster. It was a Monday night however. The true test will be the weekends but I am glad we went back. I see they are keeping up with the competition.

The experience at this theatre was simply amazing. The reclining chairs were so worth the money. You could go to bed on those chairs, legs up and all. We took our party of two adults and three kids out there and had a great time. The pop corns come with unlimited refills too. If you want to get refills on your drinks, order the large. I recommend this theatre and will return at the earliest opportunity.

United Artists is an awesome theater. I would recommend that there be better combos such as the large drink and large popcorn combo that Century Laguna offers. Also, I wish that the arms on the recliner would move up like Century Laguna so that two seats can be one. Otherwise, awesome movie theater.

This seems to be an older theatre in a not-so-great part of town. Upon arrival I contemplated going to a different theater, but I decided to check it out anyway. Im glad I did. They have reclining seats and they are comfortable. It is reserved/assigned seating and some people try to move around after buying their tickets, so keep your ticket stubs on you in case you need to kick someone out of the seat you paid for!

Not stadium seating and the digital projector couldnt pass as high definition. When it came time for the credits I couldnt read the names it was so blurry. Then I thought I probably would have got a better picture from a bootleg copy.

A little pricey, but on par with other venues in the area. Well maintained facility with courteous staff. The sound system is pretty loud—we were surprised during our first visit and left with mild headaches. Overall though, great movie theater.

I hate going to the movies, BUT the new reclining comfortable seats made this as enjoyable as possible. Food is still 1 molecule away from being plastic (it even looks nuclear), but for a near 3 hour movie, something is needed. I love this location, never too crowded during my day visits. Parking is nice and cornered so I dont feel my kids will get ran over by the worst drivers.Cant give it 5 stars, but this theatre is as close as it gets for me.
