This is a very good place to watch a movie. Would highly recommend. Affordable and like the places around.

This theater is one I have been going to for the last 20years. It is great to return after a long hiatus and see they have made upgrades to keep current. The entry way and ticket purchase was out doors and has been enclosed. The staff seemed helpful and patient with my unfamiliarity with the new procedures. (Now I feel old)The selection of snacks was a pleasant surprise with Pizza Hut pizza ready to grab and go. Two sizes of hot dog was a nice option. Another gem was the availability of being able to add my own butter to the popcorn if I so desired. There were also the other customary snacks available like candy, soda, nachos, and all the others.The movie theater #4 was a bit smaller than the ones in other theaters but the view in the back was much better because of the smaller size. Overall the experience was not great, but it wasnt bad, thus the 3-star rating. It was not my favorite theater but I can go back and enjoy my movie again and again. Seats are comfortable and sit back with warmers. The sound is great without deafening you. And the XD screens are brilliant. You can have a beer or glass of wine from the concessions. Its never horribly crowded when we go and we order our tickets in advance online. Great family destination.

Excellent comfort only one drawback to this theater people with colds coughs sneezing no one tells them to leave. I asked the person he ignored me I had to move.

ILL-EQUPPIED STAFF, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.The Century DOCO and XD employees are ill equipped and poorly trained.WARNING: Reclining theater chairs can cause damage and bodily harm.I recently went to Century DOCO and XD to see a movie. During the film, my phone managed to slip out of my pocket and slid down the side of my reclining theater chair. I tried to reach my phone on my own but was unable to retrieve it. As soon as the movie was over, I went to locate a theater employee in order to assist with me retrieving my phone. Not one employee was to be found anywhere in the theater (both levels). The only person I was able to locate was a third party security guard, who was able to escort me back to the theater and call management on his earpiece. Two assistant managers came down to the theater. They had to completely dismantle the theater chair in order to assist with the retrieval of my phone. When they dismantled the chair, it became apparent that my iPhone had been completely destroyed. The assistant managers response to me was, That sucks. What kind of response is that to a customer?As a frequent movie theatergoer, there have been many times while watching a movie that I have accidentally hit the recline mechanism on my chair. I am thankful that when I tried to retrieve my phone myself by sticking my hand down the side of the seat, that I did not accidentally hit the recline button. Imagine if someone had reached his or her hand down in order to retrieve a lost item? Honestly, I think there should be some sort of disclaimer in regards to the extent of damage and harm that can be caused by the reclining theater chairs.My friend who tried to help retrieve my phone cut his hand pretty severely on the dismantled theater chair. One of the managers noticed blood on the theater chair and floor. They did not offer to provide any type of first aid. My friend was asked by management to complete an incident form. One of the assistant managers went to retrieve the form. They came back to the theater only to realize they did not bring the correct form. When they finally came back with the correct form, my friend asked if they could please get him bandages for his cut. It took them over 15 minutes to bring back one lousy Band-Aid and an alcohol wipe. In addition the assistant manager handed my friend the incident form on a clipboard for him to fill out on his own. The very first instruction on the from reads, “To be completed by Management. It was very apparent that the assistant managers at Century DOCO and XD are ill equipped to handle any type of situation that involves a basic level of competence. I was in complete shock by the level of service we received.While I am completely aware that my phone slipping out of my pocket was a complete accident, the way my friend and I were treated by the theater staff was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. I am posting this review with pictures to warn people of the extent of damage that can be caused by the reclining theater chairs.

I had my son bday he was had lots of fun. They where very helpful.

Since the upgrade, this has become my wife and Is local go-to theater. They could take it up a notch, but its much better than it used to be. Staff is pleasant and helpful and the facility is clean for the most part. Its just those 1% things that would take them up a notch. Great eats immediately adjacent to the theater, making it a great, one stop date spot.

Newly remodeled with luxurious recliners that are reserved! Parking is very easy and validated. Also love the discount prices on Tuesdays. Clean, luxurious, and conveniently located makes this my favorite location!

A little bit of a pricier ticket price but XD has very nice adjustable leather seats. You can buy beer at the concessions and doco is a great place to shop or hang out before or after the show. Overall the theater is on the pricier side but a nice place to see the movie. Light rail station is very close at K street.

Nice, clean theater. Seats dont recline the same way they do at other theater. However, I do like that the seats have a warmer function so the leather isnt cold when you sit.

There is a new policy for no strollers at this movie theater which makes sense because it is a potential fire hazard, although it would be nice to Have an area Where you could park the strollers.So becoming aware of this we did not bring our stroller inside. Just the car seat. So we get to the ticket area and the front desk lady tells us that we can’t bring the car seat in ( there also is no sign anywhere for no car seats) so we ask why and she says, “She doesn’t know that’s just what the manager said.”We ask for the manager. I am a manager at my own company and I can tell you that her choice of words were very poor. She called my baby an “it” and a “fire Hazard” and told us we have to buy an extra ticket for a car seat ??? So if you plan on going to this movie theater with an infant, be prepared to pay for an extra ticket.

The quality of the theatre is awesome. Seats are comfortable recliners. Its usually not too packed. Validation for parking. Serves food and beer . Service is welcoming.

Ok. The XD theaters upstairs are set up correctly. The digital theaters downstairs have much to be desired since the slope is hardly noticeable. The concession stand rocks with beer and wine. 4 hours validation for parking is well worth the price.

A great place to watch a movie. Ample parking in the public lot next to Macys. Parking validation is for 4 hours! Enough time to eat and watch a movie. The seats are comfy lough recliners WITH seat warmers!

The theater is great don’t get my wrong. But the parking garage staff are extremely rude. A few months ago I was trying to leave the parking lot and I was confused on the ticket for exiting one of the managers India came down seeming very annoyed because I needed help. I just definitely felt antagonize, she should always know the customer is right and not argue and refuse to show her badge or give me any information

Great movie experience. Snack were a reasonable price and tasty. Pro tip, dont sit in the front row of the Theater. Back roenis best. You wont regret it.

Nice theater very comfortable with reclining heated seats. Beer and wine available. On one visit the movie stopped for several minutes it eventually restarted but not back in XD and no communication from the staff about the issue and what or when to expect it back.

Love the reclining seats and service has been consistently reliable. Id give higher rating but feel inconvenienced by parking. Mind u there is 3 hrs of free parking if u get validated. I just hate parking in garage structures vs parking in a lot

I love the recliners and the comfort of the theaters here. I wouldnt recommend seeing anything in the tiny screening room however, its just too small and doesnt feel like a proper big screen experience.

Very clean and great staff. Fast service at the concession stand. Theater and bathroom was clean and seats are very comfortable. You have to reserve your seat, so best to plan ahead for newer movies if you are going with someone or in a group

Went to see star wars with all my little kids. Was very clean and comfy for all ages. Highly recommend.

This is my new favorite movie theater. It is so worth it to buy the membership package. It completely pays for itself. It is always clean its in a poppin location and the Starbucks coffee is a nice perk. Of course the reclining seats make this a true experience.

Nice place and comfortable

The theatre is completely remodeled and they did a good job. I really like the art and the rest of the indoor decor. The reclining seats are very comfortable and spacious. Auditorium 3 is stadium seating, so if you want the stadium and the huge screen experience make sure your movie is playing in that auditorium. I’ve also seen a movie in Auditorium 8 and that was not stadium seating, not sure about the rest of the screens (I’ll find out eventually). Parking is free for upto 4 hours with ticket validation. Overall, it’s a nicely remodeled theatre with the potential to become a very busy place in DOCO. Check it out!

Best theatre ever. supplies with good food, drinks, snacks, etc., and the seats have seat warmers that you can turn on! the seats are reclining and so comfortable. it is never really crowded, easy to get where you are needing to go. overall its a really fast, easy, and enjoyable experience.

Great place to see a movie! You can have your automatic reclining seat all the way reclined, and theres still room for people to get past you to go to the bathroom in the middle of the movie!

New theater with all the amenities. Only thing its missing is IMAX. Love the reclining and heated seats, free refills on large drinks and popcorn. It is also very conveniently located in the Doco plaza with lots of good dining options close by.

Clean, staff very nice. I got tickets in Screen #2, but in our row, I couldnt see all the way over the seats in front of me. I asked to change to another now and they were very nice about it.

Fanciest movie theater I have been in outside of an original art deco theater. Heated reclining chairs in every theater. They had a bar & hot food as well as regular movie fare. Really, really nice inside. Service was nice & helpful. I would definitely see a movie here again.

This theatre was alright. They do parking validation for up to 4hrs and I parked at the parking garage that was connected to it. Just bring your parking ticket to the place right after the ticket ripper person. The seats werent the most comfy. But at least they were heated!! Its the button underneath the reclining button. I have never seen heated seats so thats what makes this theatre special. All the theatre seats are flat on the ground except for the IMAX one.

We dont do movies anywhere else. Reserved seating, recliners, and great snacks. Also, the app is a must. The Movie club membership is worth the $9.99 a month as well.

The renovations are a big plus, but the reclining seats arent well thought out. Your back goes back as your legs lift, which means you cant drink when your legs are up... unless you brought a sippy cup with you.

This place is great just dont go late on the weekend too many drunk people and the security did little to help keep them quiet.

It was an awesome movie long movie but the seats make a little too much noise but we have fun three and a half hours at the movies it was worth in my kids just couldnt wait to see the Adventures

The pre assigned seat selection is impractical. Asking people sitting in your seat to move is awkward and not the movie goers job. By the time you find someone to ask them to get up, the movie is well in and you’ve missed parts. Not to mention waiting for them to collect themselves, belongings, popcorn and drinks. Having someone move is impractical to all parties. The wrong seat person, the person with the assigned seat, the staff and other movie goer have all been inconvenienced when everything is said and I do not wish to return to this theatre ever again.

Six of us went to see Jumanji: Next Level (funny) on Monday at 5 pm. The place was pretty-much empty, which was expected. What was terrible was the temperature of the room - 42°!!! I used a phone app the gauge it. I tried to speak to a manager and she said that they have to keep them cold for the projectors. Never have we ever been that cold!

Very nice and clean theatre, located a block from the Golden 1 Center. It’s the place to be when a new movie comes out!

This place is great if if only for the seating and the wide rows. For the standard movie experience you get reclining leather seats that are soft, clean and roomy. The last two times Ive visited the theatre, however, the temperature was warm inside, likely around 75 to 80 degrees.

Very nice, spacious seating, Massive IMAX screen. Went on a Saturday night only a few people. I guess that X-MEN isnt that popular anymore. Its my first time since the remodeling. Very nice theater, but damn near $20 for a 3-D ticket.

Great place to hang out. The parking is expensive. Its up to 28 per day. If you get it renew at the movie theater you get 4 hours off. I prefer to park at the old downtown parking lot.

Well,walking to the theaters were filled with smoke.They must not follow the rules about smoking. In the theater,I was stopped by an employee telling me I couldnt take my purse/backpack into the theaters? Its a purse,a usual backpack purse that is used daily by women. They eventually allowed it. In the theaters,which was downstairs,no employees were arend and many wanderers came taking peoples seats,which we,as well,had to ask people to move.It was pretty sketchy people. So since we were with our kids,we would not consider nighttime very friendly for families.The place has great seats,the pretzals yummy but there has got to be better control of the area.

One of the most comfortable Cinema theater Ive ever been. Recliners are much softer and cozy than, for instance, in Folsom Palladio, and many others around.

The new location is nice and clean, which is great, but the service is terrible. Unfortunately this location is the most convenient to where I live, and every time I have to dread dealing with unhelpful customer service and TERRIBLY SLOW help at concessions. Each time I’m here I’ve easily waited 3x longer than I should to order food, even when I go at extremely slow times of the day/week. I hate that I have to worry about going to a theater that’s understaffed when all I want to do is see a good movie.

This place is spectacular. Most everything about the new DOCO centre is great but this is probably the best part. Tickets are usually 10 dollars and they show a reasonable amount of movies.The atmosphere of this place is amazing, it just fell so refreshing when you walk in. Seats are SUPER comfy. Theyre like couches. These chairs recline and have seat warmers. Go there now!

This theater is in the heart of downtown. Its less busier than other theaters because of the parking situations..I love this theater because its newly remodeled. And they have these comfy leather chairs inside where you can enjoy movies. As well seats are no reserved online or in person, so no need to worry about fighting over seats..This theater does come with free parking validation and usually we dont need to pay..Lots of place around to choose to eat something quick or take your time to sit and enjoy a good meal at yard house, which I recommend for good drinks and food. Also there burger lounge if your craving a good burger. Pizza press for some yummy pizza, or even panda Express to get your quick Chinese fix..Other than movies you can shop at Macy, urban outfitters, bring a book and enjoy the nice patio chairs they have to offer if your waiting or just to chill nearby..Overall this theater is one of my favorites and a great place to come for family, date night, and etc. Thanks for reading and where do you usually go for movies if do ?

So nice and amazing and the seats are so comfortable. Last night i found out they have seat heaters!!!! A little red button under the buttons that adjust the seat. Ive always gone with sweaters in case it felt too cold inside, but they fixed that :D

Awesome theatres. As always the concession offers up traditional movie fare for an exhorbitant amount, but thats everywhere and definitely not worthy of losing a star for this theatre. This place is very well kept and the seating is great. Gone are the days off shimmying sideways with three theatre shuffle down an aisle to your seats! Thanks!

Ive seen two movies there so far. The first time was an early showing, and the theater was good, but when I had to search for a friends missing keys, we looked under the seats. BAD idea. We were astounded by the quantity of popcorn, candies, wrappers and more underneath. There was enough debris to fill a small wastebasket, and that was just from under my seat.However, the seats were comfortable, the temperature nice, and excellent audio. But who knows what was crawling around underneath?I informed the first staff member I encountered of this, and she simply placated me.I went back a second time again with the same friend and her husband, only to discover the same messy floors underneath the seats.Thats the last time Ill frequent DOCO.

This is a nice theater. Very clean. The lines werent long for snacks. Chairs are comfy and recline along with seat warmers. Very enjoyable.

Very good theatre, I go here a lot with my friends and watch popular movies. Tickets are a little pricey except on Tuesdays. There is a lot of traffic when parking in the back of the building. On weekends the theatre becomes very full. The food is also kind of pricey but the theatre is kind of fancy, there is 2 stories. This is a great place for a first date.

Main theater downtown now. Service is... Ok? Typically there is a line at the concession stand and so far I havent seen them open the one downstairs as of yet. Sometime those handling the register are not 21+ so you cant get a drink either. The facilities themselves are good and clean but the concession stand consistently leaves something to be desired in terms of speed and basic service. If you dont need alcohol it really just isnt as fast as you would like. But on more than one occasion it has become a gamble if you want a drink.

Nice clean. Friendly staff big theatre rooms loud speakers cant ask for anything else .I think this might be the first theatre Ive been to where popcorn wasnt thrown everywhere kids running around and screaming. Had a nice time with my wife enjoys our movie and overall experience will definitely return. Highly recommend 9/10

I have visited this theater at least once a month since it opened in early 2018.Its in a great central location for folks visiting downtown Sacramento. There is easy parking at meters and in a parking garage.The brand new theater and the luxury loungers are very comfortable. The staff is friendly but the concessions often take quite a long time.

I brought my daughter here for her birthday. I love the electronically reclining seats.

DIRTY!!! They dont clean there theatres between showings, so if your prepared to clean up the spots you reserve when you buy the tickets, then your in for a pleasant experience. Customer service is superb.

They didn’t let me in because I was carrying a backpack. I understand the policy but they should have a place to leave the backpack or they should check its contents and let you in. It’s not fair to deny acces to someone just because they are carrying a backpack and have no place to leave it.

Good movie theater loved the heated seats for the AAA films.Great staff, warm and helpful keep it up!In the future when there are more places to shop, below pic might be a big bear for some.Having said that, its not too much of an issue with walkable bridge to parking.Maybe a cute sign outside that reminds people?Like your parking ticket to pay before leaving?Idk but overall worth going to.

The crowd can get rough here from time to time. Loud and rambunctious, adding their own commentary to movie, very annoying. Overall though theater meets standard expectations.

Easy parking and free with validation! Saw Avengers Endgame in XD with luxury lounge seating. Great movie, too.
