This was our first time at this smaller, more intimate, but newer theater in Sacramento. We were pleasantly surprised and pleased. Although smaller it offers everything that the larger newer theaters in Sacramento have, such as Century at Arden and the Centre at doco. I would recommend this for anyone. The concession stand offers more than your traditional movie theater fare, such as beer, wine, pizza and other food. Also leave prices are cheaper than Century Theaters. The theater we were in was one of the smaller theaters but it was clean, comfortable and still smelled new. They have a self serve soda area. What I did notice though is that there was not a secondary exit out of the theater. I always scan public places for exits just in case there is an emergency. Also, I was not aware that the entrance to the theater was inside the mall. We walked around outside for a while before realizing that. Overall, it was a great experience and we definitely plan to come again. Another great Park? Every Tuesday is $5 Tuesdays! For every movie too!
So excited about this theater. My family and I watches a ton of movies. We just saw Avengers Endgame and even though it was 3hrs long, I couldnt tell because the seats were super comfy and the movie was good too. The whole set up is pretty cool. I love the little sitting area to the right when you walk in. Staff are pretty nice. Love it!
The theaters are a little small, but theyre nice. Comfortable reclining seats with fixed armrests and trays. Screens for all the movies Ive seen here are clean with bright projection and good sound. A little bleedover from adjacent screens during exceptionally loud scenes, but overall a nice place. Good food selections, and several drink options including one of the custom mix fountain dispensers.
Not your typical movie theater. They have the luxury recliners. The snack bar has much to choose from, but some of it is made to order so plan your time to arrive early enough to have to wait for it to be made. The theaters themselves are scaled down in size, but the sound system, recliners and big screen still give you that enjoyable movie going experience that you go to the theaters to get. They are located inside the Country Club Plaza Mall in the middle of the mall. For better parking I recommend going to the backside of the mall. There is an entrance right next to the theater and the front of the mall parking is usually more full.
Brand New place, have seen several movies now. Food options are pretty good, sound system is fantastic and the seating is kick butt. Overall one of my top 3 places to watch a new movie with the family or friends.
Best new cinema center. Luxury with out outrageous prices for movies. Loved it. First time here and will definitely NOT BE the last. Check out the mall its in. Wonderful and fun stuff. This center needed this!!!
Not many theaters open but love the remodel. They have discount days on Tuesday. Nice concession stand. Plenty of parking. I would park in the back behind the mall to be closer to the entrance.
This is a fine place to see a movie. The theaters are small, the chairs recline and they have trays attached. The self-service ticket kiosk was very convenient. Concessions was kinda slow but they do a good job.
Love this place. Great price on the tickets and you can get alcohol. Also great friendly greetings which is hard to get now a days with movie theaters. Definitely luxury feel.
This is a little secret gem. I kind of dont want to say how nice it is, how clean it was, how fast and easy it was to get tickets or something from the snack bar, or how comfortable the band new luxury theater seat were, or lastly the cool fact that you can buy beer or wine there.I dont want to say what a great theater this was cause then everyone will start to come there and enjoy everything this theater has to offer at a affordable price. Because if I do then it wont be my little secret gem anymore.....5 Stars- Great place- You wont be Disappointed!
Its got great prices. Definitely a place to take the kiddos. Save the extra $3 and put it towards drinks or popcorn!
I really like this place its really new so everything is nice the movies are cheaper than other theaters, the concession stand is where they make their money. They do need figure out small details like turning off lights at right time (only happen once to me) this is my theater of choice now due to convenience and price.
Comfortable seats with trays for a meal if one plans ahead. Clean new theater with good sound and movie projection. Did not but food or beverage since we ate at the Mexican restaurant across the theater in the mall. A nice relaxing evening.
I recently went to this theater and really enjoyed it. The seats were super comfortable and the seats up front were far enough from the screen. Usually nobody wants those seats but there wasnt a bad seat in the place. Good job! I found out later that not all their theaters are configured the same. Its a good place for a movie. Not as crowded as other theaters.
Nice ambiance when walking through the giant open door. Its a little confusing when you first walk in where youre supposed to redeem your tickets since there is no typical box office you would walk up to. Food and drink prices are typically overpriced as you would expect but it was a nice feature to see the multi-flavored soda machines and the ability to refill your large soda cups. We were there on a Thursday night and the place was pretty baron, but that could be just because its a Thursday night. They lost a star in my book when I went to my reserved seats and they were an absolute mess. I had to go find someone to clean the oil and popcorn before I would even attempt to sit down. They were prompt about cleaning up but that should be the first thing done after every movie.Pro tip. Instead of paying that stupid $4 convenience fee on fandango, download their app and order your tickets. Its only 50 cents per ticket!
Love this local theater and the family, small town atmosphere. Stands out among the many in the area with nice amenities like self serve drinks and a great menu. Theater and seats are top notch with USB chargers even. So glad this opened up in a rebuilding mall.
I didnt necessarily love this place, but if Im going to a show; lets go to Country Club Cinema. Clean and very nice theater accoutrements. My reason for not loving is not the fault of the business in question. Happy viewing
Surprisingly awesome. First visit after a remodel. Seats were comfortable and even had a warmer on them. Loved it!
I dont get the opportunity to see a movie here very often because it isnt close to where I live, but I really wanted to see the movie Joker. My youngest daughter wanted to see it too, and she usually doesnt like superhero/supervillain movies. The movie was excellent, and Country Club Cinema employees were, too. I have mobility issues, and I walk with a cane. A staff member led my daughter and I to our seats, and asked if I needed anything. I didnt because my daughter was with me, but I definitely appreciated their willingness to help me.As a result, Im very willing to travel across Sacramento see other movies at Country Club Cinema!
This theater is Sacramento’s best kept secret! It’s as nice as Century in Arden (on a smaller scale), but without the crowds.
Comfortable seating, great video & sound. Bad service. There are lots of movie theaters near us with recliner seating, digital sound but we wanted to try out Country Club Cinema because it is the newest theater complex and its presence will hopefully give that aging shopping center a little boost. It is a large facility with a lot of screens. We went to a Sunday matinee. We got there only 10 minutes before showtime and the concession line was out the door and into the mall. So waited until the movie started and came back out- not much better. I tried two more times during the movie and each time the line was so long I gave up.They either do not have adequate staffing or adequate concession facilities to handle the volume of people they are selling tickets to. Not sure which, but it is unlikely we will return when we can get everything Country Club Cinema has to offer with much better customer service.
I love this theatre! The staff is great. The seats are fantastic. The price is right! A real $5.00 Tuesday. They have booze if you are so inclined to spend a lot for a little.
I love the theater & very comfy and clean! But the big screen was crazy loud for music and quiet for voices. To the point where I missed some bits.
I love this theater. The seats are so comfortable and the sound is so great. It is the only theater I go to now. Staff are friendly. Prices are great too.
They have a wide variety of snacks and beverages, and the prices arent too expensive for a movie theater concession. They also have a great selection of movies playing
Place is comfy, still smells clean and staff is great. Had a good family night out. My preference for movie night.
Not the cleanest lobby when I visited, but it was very busy at the time. The theater itself was spotless, very luxurious and nice. The sound system really helped immerse you in the movie, reverberating in the seats themself. They also hooked it up with the popcorn butter. Service took a while, but as I said, it was busy, and it was a little understaffed. Worth coming back to
This is our new favorite theater now. we love everything about it. it is wheelchair/ scooter/ walker friendly. but bring a friend to help with the outer door to the ladies room. no bad odors.
Great place to catch first run movies on a $5 any time Tuesday. Reclining seats, fresh popcorn and frozen margaritas top it off.
Sparkling new theater. Smaller showrooms with big reclining chairs. Crisp and clean with all the latest amenities. Not very busy yet. Definitely check them out.
The $5 Tuesday is the best time to go. Limited movie times but the experience is worth the wait.
Being a new theater I was hoping for big quality like the Century Theater on Arden/Ethan. The seats are reasonably comfortable; with a new touch with the little bar top table to where you can set your snacks on is a nice touch. The concession stand is a bit small which makes waiting in line that much longer.I saw a lady order a hot dog and then was told It was going to be 4/5min. Of course that was after she paid then was told that. When the movie started “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, the previews came on but with the ceiling lights were still on, which put a massive glare on the bottom of the screen. Also it doesn’t seem that this theater has much bass, unless it was just that actually theater screening “screening 10”. It’s like when your listening to music with no bass, and that’s what the movie was like. It was missing that kick! I thought maybe it was just the previews but the whole movie just lacked bass to give it that better effect. It’s nice to have a close theater around but for me the extra little drive to get the real quality doesn’t sound too bad right now. All in all give this theater a 3/5.
Its alright. The convenience of a dinner table at your theater seat. Yet sadly the bass is non-existent so your eardrums will have popped and began bleeding before you even get 10 minutes into the film.
Its a clean theater with nice seats but with one MAJOR flaw. You can hear the movie from the theater next door. I watched Knives Out, a not so action-ey movie and could tell that the theater next to us was playing Star Wars. It was like there was no sound insulation in between each theater, the sound was actually loud enough that it even muddled some of the dialogue in integral scenes.Very distracting if youre watching a quieter movie.
Very clean. Also great seats that recline and have tables that swing in front of you to use for your cups and popcorn.
Sara is the best! We had some technical difficulties this morning but Sara was super amazing and made the movie going expiernce worth while.
Quiet and not as crowded as Arden, which can be a plus for some. Plenty of good seating. Nice option for a movie theater if you want to beat the crowds.
Good local Movie Cinema affordable compared to the big chains . Everything is New.. they lack on cleaning sometimes..think they are short staffed, but the employees have always been friendly.
Love this theater! Clean and nice staff! Wish they can get Bollywood Hindi movies too!
Nice for a new place. I would expect that. Ticket girl grilled me for my stub as I returned to the theater after buying some snacks. Somehow she missed the drunk in our theater being obnoxious. Luxury seats, not to crowded, 12 theaters of various sizes. Excellent sound.
Since I live in the neighborhood, I have anxiously been looking forward to the opening of this long anticipated Luxury Theater. And while it DOES serve wine and beer and Dole Whip ice cream and has the big comfortable and adjustable luxury theatre seats with a movable tray for your treats, I found it lacking in other key areas which were equally-if not more important. On all 3 of my visits here, none of the ticketing keyosk computers were working! Not a single one! So to get our prepaid tickets scanned off our smart phones, we had to wait in a long line at which only ONE employee was working at! So all 3 times, I missed the opening of my movies! Not to mention the Snack Bar only had one employee as well and we had to wait 15 minutes just to get our Dole Whips! I mean how incredibly lame is that when all you have to do is put a cup under the spout and fill it up?! The employee at the snack bar was also very lazy and rude-often checking his phone while working! So as a result, me and my granddaughter missed the first 30 minutes of Maleficent! Not happy at all!
Seats are the more comfortable movie lounge seats, better than studio movie grill. Clean. Friendly staff.
Awesome! Super fun! Went twice in one week. Best comfy recliner seats. I even took a blankie to snuggle with the 2nd time. My new fave movie place
Loved the luxury reclining seats with built in tray. Sound system was awesome. Staff was very friendly and popcorn was tasty. We plan to come back to this location.
Comfy loungers. Long walk to the restroom from many of the auditoriums, so pee before the movie.
Nice little theaters. Reclining chairs with swinging tables. $8 seniors
Really nice theater, clean, very spacious, the seats are great, large clean and super comfortable. The price is much better than elsewhere. Not crowded at all. I totally recommend it.
This place is so strange! The mall is ¹/2 empty but the theaters are all nice and newer. The staff are friendly and chill. They sell booze in drinks here.(say what?!)Theres some gaming places in this mall too.(score)
Every Tuesday is $5.00 any movie. Preselected seating. Friendly staff. You can print at home, use a 2d code or get your tickets there. They even have self serve ticket kiosks. Adult drinks (jack n coke slushies) in addition to your regular theater faves. They even have dole whip ! (havent tasted yet lol)
This is my new favorite theater in Sac. A secret gem. Best popcorn and they always have seats available for opening weekend movies. And DOLE WHIP!!!
Great seats. Good prices for category. More options snack bar concessions wise.
Love love love this theatre. Luxury. Adult drinks. Comfortable reclining chairs
Fantastic new theater. Doesnt hurt that its a 3min drive away either ;). As for how the place is? Great seats, love the lazyboy feel (they recline also!). The snack bar is impressive as well. The food is made to order (the pretzels are top notch), the adult beverages are a nice touch too. Good selection of sweets, and nice popcorn round out the package. Tickets are easy to grab, and I love that I can pick my seats. $5 Tuesdays add immense value to this location, and let us take out the whole family (and blow more in the snack bar). Overall, my new favorite theater.
Absolutely awesome! Saw a 5pm movie on Friday and I could sit anywhere I wanted.
Easy to purchase tickets through a kiosk. Very comfortable seats.
Great theatre. Comfy seats. Awesome prices.
Every employee went out of their way to welcome and direct and answer any questions I had. The facility was clean and well organized. Very favorably impressed.
Most beautiful GS theater in town. I go to the gym in the mall and went there today for the first time with a few friends and we were all impressed about quality of sound and picture quality, food was good just allowed about 20 minutes for things that they cook on the spot. I love that is my local theater and that is so nice! I will be supporting it since is my neighborhood theater and is pretty awesome!
Lucky enough to see Avengers, paid for the larger screen. All in all a great experience. From years in customer service I could see some hiccups but staff but they got it handled. Well try them again. Seats were comfy and LOVE the choices for the soda machines! They have some alcohol but skipped it today.
The seating is great and the screen and sound were good. Only thing that was weird was the overtly Christian section of the previews called The Ferguson Files. Had to go for a walk while those showed (soooooooo bad). Other than than the place was great. Friendly staff.
Loved the theaters comfy atmospheric design. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean.
Clean, comfortable, and friendly. This place is great. The concession line was long, but unless they expand it, they can’t go any faster. It was still awesome, even without time to get a soda.
Great new theater that I will definitely be coming back to.
The atmosphere is very friendly the staff go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. I have seen three movies and definitely plan on coming back. The seats are comfortable and while watching the movie I was able to charge my phone.
Great new theatre for the area. Awesome electronic reclining seats with table. Great all day $5.00 Tuesdays. Plus they serve alcohol. Beer, wine and cocktails!! Woohoo!
Nice staff and recline stye seating really nice and have good food for the price for Normal theaters and can use regal rewards here
Awesome theatre..THE BEST SOUNDSAND SCREENS.
The seats recline, they sell adult beverages and more awesome things haha.
Beautiful new theater and the seats still smell of new leather. Will make this my favorite theatre in Sacramento. Completely automated for no hassle visit.
First time since I was a kid Ive been to a movie theater that had that new car smell. Spacious and quiet seating. Will return
Its new, so still has some tweaking to do, but its a very nice cinema, awesome and helpful staff.Get there early and enjoy the lounge area. I really enjoyed the selection of frozen adult drinks. The kitchen with fully prepared food is also a very nice touch.Dont come to this theatre expecting cattle-driven service. This theatre takes time to listen to each customer and makes an engagement. You sacrifice a bit of service time with that, but I feel thats what you are supposed to get from a luxury cinema. The seats are really nice, and the screens are super crisp.Just get those auto kiosk up and running and change your line layout (grabbing a drink after you get food can become a bit cumbersome because of positioning) and you got yourself a five start rating.
Great theater with the new seating options of leaning back. It seems the cost of the movies is pretty fair and they have refillable beverages which makes the cost of a drink more appealing.
Had a good time. Minus the concessions stand workers taking their sweet time.
Love this place... Shhhh, dont tell anyone though. Its my little secret!
Great theater, but the food prices are what get your pocket!
One of the nicest theaters Ive been to. Security patrolling outside for your car, seats are very comfortable, interior is very modern and sleek.
Enjoyed the ease of parking, comfortable seating and first run movies.
I have favorite seats when I go, so I always get them early. The location of the movies is perfect. I hope the prices stay the same, because this theatre has become my first choice.
So happy this opened up close to my home. All luxury recliners and $5 Tuesdays. This place is happening!
This place is a hidden gem. Weve been here twice at each time hes been great. The popcorn is delicious with self serve soda machines. Recliners with assigned seating. They also have self service kiosks where you van pick your seat and pay. The have beers and other adult beverages available. They also carry Dole whips! Yum
So clean. Seats very comfortable. Good security
It was great. Very clean, not alot of people and very comfortable reclining seats. it was my first time there with my son watching zombieland 2 and I will definitely be back when Frozen part 2 premieres with my daughter.
After experiencing poor service during the opening weeks at CCC, I thought it only fair to wait and let them hurdle the issues that any new business faces. Guess what- months later, the service is still poor. I attended a matinee yesterday and learned that there is no longer a service provider devoted to ticket sales during the week; I had to wait 15 minutes in line behind popcorn/ concession buyers to get my ticket. Too many corners cut. I also question the sound level- seemingly much louder than other theaters. I had to wear earplugs to safely experience my film. If I go back (only if other nearby theaters arent available) I will take sound pressure measurements and see how they compare to OSHA standards. I am concerned that this theatre may be doing real harm.
Unlike some other reserved seating theaters the stairs are manageable. Others theaters, the steps are extra high and if you have bad knees or arthritis its very difficult climbing them or coming down..
The Pre-Previews didn’t start until 15 minutes after scheduled start time. When I informed the front desk they said they had no control and I’d have to wait another 20 minutes for the previews to start. One of the cashiers was very rude when I asked for a refund. Beware going to this theater.
Great customer service.Very clean. This is our second visit to see It Chaper 2 Volume was way to loud !! Our ears actually hurt due to high volume.Thank you for responding. We visited your theater on Monday 09/09/19 I believe it was Theater # 6 It Chapter 2.The volume was very intense for previews as well as the movie.Hopefully the sound can be lowered as we have recommended this location to several friends, family and co-workers.
Thia is a Brand New Theater and they did a phenomenal job. Seats are very comfy. Atmosphere and service very nice. Great addition to an aging mall.
It still seems like staffing is trying to get organized here. I have been 3 times and each time was different. The first time was really busy and I had to wait in line way too long. The 2nd time not as busy and still a long wait. The 3rd time it was completely dead and I was able to get in and out of line fast the ticket kiosk was down, so I had to buy tickets at the concession stand which was confusing.
Saw IT (end) Ch.2 here and it was fun. So great for cheap (5$ all day Tuesdays) on huge screen and LOUD sound. Come here and......youll float too..
What I appreciate most is that the staff is so charming! Excellent customer service during all 5 of my visits so far. Also glad they dont bother me about my reusable water bottle (less waste, more dehydration). Their concessions are excellent and chairs are bery comfortable.
Went to see John Wick and had a great experience. Spacious theater, not packed $10 matinee on weekends for amazing reclining seats and a table at your seat. Will definitely be back.
Very nice place. Serve food and booze. The have awesome theater seating tjat recline.
I like it. Its big enough to walk around, seats are good, and I dont have to drive for fourty minutes to get here .
Was just ok.. The screen and the seats are nice but the theater entrance and snack bar area is cheaply made in my opinion.. I really expected it to be great and luxurious since it was freshly built! The bathroom was super dirty and stinky also.. My first time there and probably my last. I definitely prefer to go to the Century theater over on Ethan way..
