Beautiful place with wonderful people. There are some really nice shells that can be found at night on the beach. Seems to occasionally have a seaweed invasion in certain spots but that is to be expected on the coast!

Love this beach! You’re close enough to Old Orchard Beach to see the fireworks during the summer time every Thursday night, but far enough to avoid the crowds. Also love that it’s dog friendly!

The walk to the beach is beautiful. The water when we went was disgusting! We went up to our waist and could not see our feet, it was like cloudy cement. We kept feeling things hit our legs., but couldnt see the ocean floor. After 3 min we came out of water. Yuk never experienced that in maine ocean.Another beware is that you can hear gunshots from the beach!Yes gun shots! After talking to the ranger, he said there is a shooting range near- by. Great way to spoil a nice day.I will not go back to this beach.

Its a beautiful seaside retreat, with a lovely staff. Rooms are utilitarian and clean, bathrooms well maintained and clean, food is pretty good unless you are on a keto diet, because even the lower carb foods have too much for keto.

For me, Ferry Beach is synonymous with the Ferry Beach Park Association, a really wonderful organization that promotes inclusivity and fun for its conferees. The little ice cream shop near the old dining hall, though somewhat changed and a little less generous with its helpings, is still as pleasant in the summer as it ever was, and the buffet meals in the new DeWolf dining center are familiar and tasty, though now sorely overpriced. Reserve a week to visit, when you get the chance.

Wonderful place, very beautiful. We visit this place occasionally, opting to camp on a raised platform. There is water and power nearby. The toilets are reasonably well kept on the camp grounds, with better ones to use in the dining hall.Being here gives you access to the beach, and you can often partake in parts of conferences taking place. There is a gun range nearby, so expect to hear popping during the day if on the camp site. The food options here are expensive, and can change immediately(we paid over $20 power person for what we expected would be a French food night, which turned out to be make your own tacos...). Since dinner starts at 6, you could be hard pressed to find elsewhere to eat in a hurry.
