Funtown Splashtown USA, is a really nice and fun place there is a lot to do and see. Funtown Splashtown USA has a lot of fun and interesting rides to go on. And Funtown Splashtown USA has a lot of fun water attractions to enjoy and explore to. They have bumper cars. And Funtown Splashtown USA has good parking. I really enjoy every visit 2 Funtown Splashtown USA. I give Funtown Splashtown USA 5 stars. November 2020
Awesome family fun. Great rides. Family atmosphere. Park is exceptionally clean. Dragons decent is an incredible view from the top and excaliper is a wooden roller coaster not to be missed no line at log flume so did it four times in a row. Water park was great with mostly short lines except for tornado thrill and Titans twist. Tornado thrill well worth the wait. Could not stop laughing. My wife, my kids and me had a wonderful time and got discount combo tickets through parks and rec department. Food was good, freshly made and reasonably priced for an amusement park. Bad points are layout of park is ackward with poor flow, go karts ran extremely poorly and many continued to break down without given chancel of rerun on track. My sons bumper boat engine smoked so much it looked like it was on fire. When staff notified, didnt seem to care.
I absolutely love Funtown/Splashtown because it is just a fun experience with your family and friends. I have gone on every ride there since I was 5yrs old. My family vacations up there in Saco, Maine every year and it always feels like home to us. My favorite ride there is the Astro scrambler because it has that awesome music that accompanies with it I wish I could find the music that is a part of that ride somewhere.
Funtown is very clean an incredibly wonderful place to spend family time. Bathrooms are clean an so is the park. Great prices they range from 38 to 11 but the time spent is a blessing the water is also clean but cold great deals on the pics as well come check it out an come have fun in the sun.. #sundayfunday
Its all about the kids on this one. 6pm special was$11 bucks for 3 hours of fun. Great spot to come to have a little fun on rides and get a little wet in the summer heat. If you dont want to take a whole day and you re just looking for a few hours of fun heres your opportunity! Take in the night life with the kids. Like if this review helped you! Note go have FUNÀHey if this info helped you in any way please like for me. God Bless!
Love Funtown Splashtown! I look forward to it every year. Even now that Im a young adult I still go! The rides are classics but still really thrilling! Theyve made new renovations and additions and I really love it. The food is kind of expensive but its expected.Ive made a lot of life long memories there. I love their giftshops!! Such cute little items. I bought a hoodie from them and I love it! Its been years and I still have it.The lines normally arent bad. Just a bit of a wait. The rides are normally clean. Staff is normally nice. Enjoyable. The carnival games are decent. Id probably stick to buying something from the gift shop though.
Excellent time with the grandkids. Got them tickets for both parks; just Splashtown for me. Those slides were so much fun, I felt like a kid again. We had a blast.Room for improvement in the food service area for sure.
We LOVE this place! After our 2nd trip to Splashtown we then tried Funtown for the 1st time & had a fantastic time! Well definitely be back next summer! Great combo price & just the perfect place for family fun with our 10 year old!!
Havent been in years but grew up going here with my family as kids and it was always a blast, safe, fun, good food, prices are fair and lots of space and things for people of all ages to enjoy
Decent rides, games, and water park. Food places are good too, unlike another close by water park...
We loved Fun Town we had a ballFood court was a different storyI wanted in line for 15 minutes I know that normal but when I spent$37.00 on a hot dog,3 cheese burgers and tender plate and I reviewed it all cold and had been sitting there for a while.. I was not happy at all. I work in food service so I know it had been sitting there for a while and wasnt cooked on the spot..they need to be better at that.thats unhealthy and I think I should be reimbursed for it..We spent$176.00 to get in the park..But other than that everything else was amazing..
This park is amazing. It has rides I remember from when I was young, like the Astrosphere and log flume along with newer rides and the water park. Plenty of rides for kids of all ages. But what sets it apart is that all of the staff we met were courteous and friendly. They sail thank you and wished us a nice day as we were leaving each ride and it felt genuine.
Not too crowded on weekdays which is very nice. One of the minuses is that lunch lines can be absolutely gigantic and you have to wait on the sun. If park will provide shade for this lines, it wouldnt be so bad. Good hard ice cream is available.
This is always a great place to go to. My family and I go up super early and come back super late. Its an amazing place for having fun and bonding with family and friends. I look forward to going again this year.
Big bang for your buck for a combo ticket! The slides at Splashtown are so much fun and you can do some slides as a whole family or duo/couple! There is a great area for little kids to stay amused and out of the way of all the kids running from slide to slide. Combo tickets also give you 2 free rides on Go Karts! The Funtown side is really fun too! There are rides for all sizes, small or big. There are areas to eat all the regular amusement park food; yes, those are a little pricier than other places, but expected. Rides arent placed too far from each other and the park is relatively easy to navigate, which is great with so many running kids everywhere/way! The park is kept nice and clean too. My family likes to go minimum once a year. Its a place you can enjoy your whole life!
Compact but very good traditional amusement park. The signature attraction at this park, the 100 foot Excalibur.,is possibly the best wooden coaster in the northeast. The back row is outstanding and lines are always short. The food is very good for park fare, and operations are always quick. The waterpark is surprisingly large for a small place, and they have some very good flat rides. Definitely do not miss this park if you are in the area.
Its all in the name Fun Town Ive always love going here! It is so nice to live near a local amusement park! Lots of great family memories.
Great place for family fun in the sun. Thanks we had a great time.the park is very clean the bathrooms are clean as well. I like how the staff are super friendly. the rides a plus family = #priceless the cost is definitely reasonable for the hole park.. come down to funtown-splash town 4ur fun
Fun as always, although the $3.50 waters from the vending machines were not even cold.
Season pass is the way to go. We got the Digital pass too. Already got moneys worth. Kaylie ( my daughter 11) has been 3 times with different friends, and has great pictures/ memories to share
Amusement park and water park for a reasonable price. (Also have good deals for later hours!) Pretty crowded but the wait lines werent ever long enough to be bothersome. Food was overpriced but arent they always at theme parks? Definitely enjoyable! If ever in Maine again, would definitely visit!
They had a great deal for only $11 after 5 PM today. We got to go on all the rides we wanted to multiple times. Nice clean park.
My family and I go at least once a year, always something to do even for our almost 2yr old. Tons of places to eat, get snacks and drinks. I do have to say i feel everything is very pricey like $3.50 for a bottle of water. Highly recommend bringing a picnic style lunch and plunty to drink. There is lots of places to sit and eat. The water park to has kiddie pools and adult areas.
1 Price for admission is very reasonable. Friendly staff and guests. Lines were acceptable. Although it should be warned if your going on the Poseidons plunge youll get a wedgie of your lifetime. That was totally unexpected!!!2. Belonging were safe when left unsecured, my daughter left her iPhone and wallet on the bench when she went on a ride and they were there when she returned.3. Drinks were way overpriced but you can bring in your own, which I would advise. $5.50 for a small lemonade is way too much. And a bottle of water is $3.75.
A lot of fun. We love being there.
Lots of fun for the whole family. There are rides and slides for everyone in the family. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only real complaints I had were the cost of the pictures from the rides and the price of food/drinks are a little pricey. Other than that, the prices for the tickets and the value you get for them is well worth the trip. If you plan on going more than once during the season, I would highly recommend a season pass though. More bang for your buck, plus you can buy a season pass for pictures as well now. That might be worth the buy as well if you plan to buy lots of those ride pics, however, they only offer the picture season pass to season pass holders. But, we still had lots of fun. Well worth the money. Veterans also get a discount on admission for the whole family!
Don’t waste your money! Pay too much to walk around the park. Cheaper to walk around the parking lot
Not a 6 flags or Busch Gardens (or even close) but a pretty good amusement / water park combo. Plenty to do and keep you entertained.
So much fun! All the kids loved it. Splashtown has seperate areas for toddlers to play in and tons of things for bigger kids plus Funtown has tons of rides for all ages.
Excellent amusement park. Well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Well managed. Superb wooden rollercoaster.
My family and I love coming here! There are a lot of rides, but its not overwhelming like some places - which is a good thing! The park is clean - and the bathrooms, too!
Had a great time. Low waiting lines and fun for all ages.
Always a pleasant visit. We have been coming here for over 40 years. First as children ourselves, then our family and now the grandsons. The staff is excellent, especially in Splashtown. Grounds and facilities are cleans. Oh yeah, the attractions are fun. Thank you for another great season.
Such a great place. Definitely get the combo bracelet. Its nice to be able to go back and forth from each park. We spent our morning at funtown and our afternoon at splashtown. The food and drinks are expensive, so I recommend taking advantage of bringing in your own food.
Its a good place for the family but bring a lot of money to get in go on rides and the water park the food is a little pricey and needs more designated smoking areas but all in all its a great place to have family fun
Great place for kids of all ages. Having a waterpark and a fair type setting is brilliant. I have been going here for years, since I was a kid, and now I get to bring my kiddo there. Shes gone a few times in the last two years and absolutely loves it here. It is slightly more on the pricey side for adults (anyone over 48), but I understand that the money is necessary for the upkeep on the pools, waterslides and all the fair style rides, so I dont mind paying it.
Lots of fun. Some lines but not too awful if you stick to certain rides and water slides. Attentive ride operators. Four stars because service staff, mainly food stands, were rather slow and unfriendly. Otherwise well worth the money.
Awesome staff amazing rides and mostly small waiting times. The food is out of this world priced, but so is every parks food. But the food prices took away from the experiences. Other than that it was all round a very fun day trip and I would highly recommend if you are looking to have some fun.
Love funtown
Not to shabby, no long lines - park was relatively clean and employees were respectful and seemed happy to help, overall good experiences for me and the Fam - Id recommend a visit for a day or half a day with the family .
For the value, one of the best places to take the family in Maine.
Half water park with half amusement, its pretty fun for such a small park
Had a lot of fun good place to go if you just want to close out the stress and the world around you. Food is a little pricey but all in all had a great time on the water slides. Good place for all ages. Had some wonderful family time and made some good memories
Great place on a summer day for entertainment. Lots to see and lots of rides to go on for the entire family.
It was great free Parking free seating canopies and umbrella tables 1st come 1st serve but as of what I seen there was plenty! Great place to being the kids no too crowded.. Would definitely go back! Traveled from RI and was worth the trip.. Can also bring in your own food and drinks .. No alcohol but can buy alcohol inside
Great place yo take your family! All kinds of fun rides for all ages!
Fun times.
Great variety of things to do for all ages.
Funtown is awesome. But the WildMouse roller coaster needs to be removed. It is going to break someone neck one day.
This was one of my childhood favorite amusement parks!! The fact that its still open and i can bring my kids there to share this memory with is awesome! Best amusement park in Maine hands down!!
Awesome ages 11-14 enjoyed both the water park and amusement rides. For myself it was a trip down memory lane as I went as a kid. I believe they loved it so much because the offer more old school rides that you might not find at larger amusement parks. They are already planning our trip for next year!
Oh my God this is one of the true gems to go to in the old orchard beach area, its got the best rides in Maine
This was my familys second visit to funtown spashtown. We havent visited the water park so I cant speak to its quality but it seems small. I was under the impression that it would be $13 per person over a certain height (it said so on the sign). It ended up being $20 per person, so I was already slightly annoyed at spending more then I had intended to enter. We had decided to eat dinner in the park before entering, I know amusement park food is always expensive but this place felt like highway robbery. $7.50 for a clam roll. It was some burnt beyond recognition clams, black lettuce all on a savory hot dog bun. Yum! I ordered that along side chicken tenders. When I complained about the crab roll, I was given a refund. I then ordered another order of chicken tenders that were thoughtfully burnt. My big kid had a good time, but for the price we could have gone to the pier and spent the same, and my admission would have been free because I dont ride amusement rides.
Really fun! Overall loved it however most of the staff was rude and miserable which made the experience somewhat unpleasant! There was only one friendly and positive staff member i encountered the day i visited. I really hope this was already brought to your attention and has been fixed as I had this issue last summer! Hoping for a better experience this summer!
Nice small amusement park. It can be like a maze to to get around but when you figure it out, (which its pretty small so youll figure it out quickly) its really easy to enjoy. I recommend going at a later time, short lines and the price drops
Best amusement park in Maine
We have has season passes for 5 years. Such a great park. Both sides have plenty to do but small enough for everything to be close and allow kids some independence
Got discounted tickets through work, which makes the price reasonable. The new updated Astrodome is awesome and actually stays cool now. Arcade games are very reasonably priced and fun to play. Wasnt overly crowded on a Saturday either.
Try tilt a whirl or Dragons decent (big riders)For the kids Red Baron or Umbrella cars
Splashtown is a great place to stay cool
This place is amazing it was so much fun. There was a wooden roller coaster that I hit my head when I was riding it. They took very good care of me when that happened
My youngest daughter has a season pass and my oldest daughter works for Funtown. I have lived in Saco for a good part of my life and Funtown has always been there. Sure its no Disney or Universal but for a locally owned amusement park it is sure is amazing. I will continue to support them for as long as I am able.
My wife and I went middle of the week during summer and had 1 line to wait in the whole day. Rides are fast and fun, staff are engaging and the prices are affordable. The water park was crowded but there were plenty of places to set your stuff down and enough pools to have a spot for everyone. I lost my glasses going on one of their waterslides and the staff was quick to find them before they got to the compressor and were lost forever. Thank you!!! Cant wait to come back next summer.
Kids had a great time!
Great place..was not packed when we went so line were short...when you get to hot...head over to the water park...everyone was nice..place was clean...my only problem was food was pricey $4.50 for just a hot dog! 3.50 for Medium fountain soda... I will go again I will just eat before I get there one thing that is nice they let you bring food and drinks in plan ahead
Kids had a great time
We love it. I hope to see it grow and the quality to expand. But there’s nothing to complain about in any matter. It is plenty big enough for any kiddo to have a blast!
It was fun and relaxing. The bathroom facilties were clean and the wait time for rides was minimal . The ride to get there was long, but definitely worth it. I live in Johnston RI and will absolutely go back.
It was pricey but we went for most of the day. From noon to 6 when they closed. We got combo passes and it was so fun!! If you havent been in years, give yourself plenty of time things have moved! Splashtown was a blast!! Totally worth it! Definitely going again and considering season passes when we move back to the area!
Always fun! Staff are always friendly. Clean restrooms!
It was decent wayer/amusement park. It got about a half a day in, whennthe storm came in and they gave us a pass good for a half of day. So that was appreciated. Whole family had a great time. Thier food was decent too. Expensive.
Fun day kids love it and the price doesnt kill your wallet.
Love, love, love Funtown and Splashtown! Great relaxing day with kids and Grandkids! The water rides and pools and pirate ship thrill the kids and there are plenty of lounge chairs and places for the adults to rest and take it easy! It is a beautiful, clean amusement park and the discounted combo tickets you can find online or at various places are well worth the price since ticket includes all day ride bracelet!!
Best place ever for kids. It can be pricey to bring a family but we have found it is so worth it! We make it a point to go at least once per year. Plenty for older and younger kids to do!
Great family fun. Small enough so you wont have to walk miles for the rides. Lines are never really long. Youre able to bring your own food and drinks in to save money.
We vacation in York, Maine every year and Splashtown is only like an hour drive. Its so awesome there for the kiddos and even adults! Definitely worth checking out!
On a hot day there is absolutely no way that your kids will be able to stand in line for the waterpark. It’s over an hour wait for any of the good ones. I came here as a kid and now that my kids are older it’s a fun blast from the past, but it’s way too busy now
We had a great time with our Summer Camp group. FT/ST was more than accommodating for such a large group. Your hospitality was greatly appreciated.
Great amusement park in Southern Maine. A summer family tradition. Park admission is reasonable and plenty of rides from tots to adults. Food is overpriced however, so pack a lunch.
Everyone was helpful. Lines were not bad at all. The staff told us the best nights to come just for rides and you can bring food in! The lifegaurds were attentive and as a parent that is very much appreciated.
This is a nice place to spend a day with your friends and family. The kids will love it and you will remember it for a lifetime
Had an incredible time with the kids. Big enough where they didnt feel limited or crowded, small enough to let the older ones go off on their own for a bit. We will definitely stop in the next time we have a chance.
Great place. Love the park the best. The Dragons decent is my favorite ride.
Its an amazing Place.Very Reasonably Priced. One needs a whole Day to Visit both Splash town and Fun town.Splash Town has got the best water slides one can imagine off.The Black Tube ride is Thrilling and the FREE FALL WATER SLIDES steel the show. The Fun town has also got the best Roller Coaster Rides
Very fun and alot to do, alot of rides and water slides, the candy store also had alot to choose from and same with the restaurant nearby, loved it!
Ride attendees were friendly and seemed 2 enjoy their positions. They also took the utmost caution before powering up a ride; they make sure Everyone is securely strapped in.
Used to be a great park. Now they ruined it cause u have to pay to get in even if u just walk around. So families cant afford to go anymore. Rocky Point in R.I. did same thing and they ended up closing. I predict same thing will happen here.
Very nice place, it was very clean and everyone was so nice. I brought my 9,8 and 1 year olds and they all had a blast!!!! The only disappointment was that it stormed so we had to leave way earlier then we wanted to. I would defidently come back i even had a good time!!!!!
Had a lot of fun with the family! The food kinda sucked, but we brought our own snacks and drinks. The park was very clean, as were the bathrooms! I didnt encounter one unpleasant staff member, and they were very attentive to the ride they were running. We went before the season really kicked off so splashtown wasnt open. On the plus side the lines were a 5 minute wait, MAX! But we only waited a handful of times in 7 hours. Will definitely return!
Awsome family fun place to go I loved the water rides especially the log flume!!!! They do have an arcade as well and adult area so you can quench your thirst with a nice cold beer as well!!!! The also have child rides as well!!!! Excellent place for family fun!!!!
Great place for family fun....although prices are increasing
Did not go on one ride or water slide...still had to pay $40 to get in. They should really re-think the pricing. Bring your own cooler with food and water! Bottle of water at Fun Town $3.50 The food is incredibly expensive, mass produced and not worth the price .
Time to update the place a bit. Maybe a Real rollercoaster? Better arcade needed.
Awesome because they have a fun part and a splash park
All the good reviews in here are accurate. We went today 7/7/18 and our experience was very good. We bought the combo for $24 after 3:00 pm each person. That gives entrance to both the amusement and water park. Plenty of space, free huge parking lots. Plenty of picnic tables, benches and beach chairs to enjoy. Various restrooms, changing rooms, activities, food and ice cream. Little pricey but we brought our own food so we wouldnt buy so much. There are vending machines as well. They keep their place absolutely clean, you see the staff walking around cleaning. They have their aqua blue shirts with their logo, can easily identify and ask any questions. They are very organized. The lines are reasonable, both parks have nice rides...it was fun, we enjoyed our visit and will be back. 10 stars!
Unlimited access to both parks for pretty good ticket price! You can bring your own coolers and pack lunches.
Great time with the family. Buy the combo pass and spend your day in the water park. When you tire of that enjoy all the rides.
So much fun.Clean facility. All of the people working were so friendly. My granddaughter loved it.
I went to order food at 5:15 and was told the fryers were all shut down. The park closes at 6. If it were 5:45 or later I would have understood. I was looking to spend a decent amount for dinner, so they missed out. Also, I came into the park with my five children and about 30 minutes later my boyfriend came to meet me. He was questioned when he bought a ticket as to if he was meeting someone, as if he was some creepy guy trying to mosey around a kids theme park. I wasnt impressed with the customer service at the ticket booth, rude and condescending for absolutely no reason.
