I went with a group of friends and it was easily the best bowling experience weve had. The staff members were very nice and polite, the alley is well organized, and they had some of the best prices on games. We will absolutely be going again soon

I went to Bowl-A-Roll on a Sunday and it was EMPTY. And for me it was quite confusing because I have never been to a bowling place where you don’t reserve a lane for a certain time, instead you have to pay PER PERSON for each game. I do not think it’s worth it, because here a lot of people end up being like “let’s do one more why not?” And with that thinking you will end up paying a lot of money especially if you are coming with a big group, cause like I said they charge you per person. They even charge you for the shoes and socks if you don’t have those.It was empty, boring, the computers were from the 19 hundreds for sure. I don’t think I’m ever coming back.I’m from Europe and I’ve never been to a more crappy bowling place before. It looks&feels old, and does not worth it.️

Nice clean place, good on distancing

First time at Bowl A Roll and we got lane number 8. I’ve bowled at Gates, Sunset, Dewey, & Empire & as soon as I come here. After the first game the lanes scratched up my bowling balls. Not only when I brought to the staff were they not attentive to it but just said sorry in a response that wasn’t caring. Which means they won’t change it.

As a league bowler at Empire Lanes, I came here to practice today because I couldnt practice at Empire. This place is family owned and you can feel it. I wish I bowled here weekly. Empire is a disaster. Its a big money grab and just not league bowler friendly anymore. Good lane conditions, nice staff - they actually talk too. Will be back, maybe for a league.

Had fun with four kids let them bowl three games but I have to say it was so much cheaper when I was younger. I can understand the change of times and that meaning the price will never be the same. Great food and great people.

We spent $60.00 for a family of 5 to play two games and they shut down our lane and game when we still had 3 of us still had not finished the game. When we first arrived at 3:30 they told us we had to be out by 5, which we thought was reasonable enough. However, it was our sons first time bowling (hes 3) and it was taking us a while to get through our first game because we only had 1 lane. One of the workers literally came over to us and told us to pick up the pace. Then the same worker came over and told us we had to use 2 lanes because we would be done quicker. Literally at 4:45 they shut our game/ lanes off. After they had already told us we had until 5. We had 3 turns left. When my husband went to ask why our game was shut down he was told it was because of leagues coming in at 5. But this place was practically empty. No one was there for any leagues yet. So as we were leaving, we were looking for someone to talk to about it and all the dudes behind the counter had dissapeared. We were really disappointed with the whole experience. We all felt super rushed to play and we felt like a big inconvenience to these people. It really took the fun out of the game.

Bowl-A-Roll Lanes is a fantastic bowling alley!Prices are very reasonable, so it is a great place to bring the kids, and the atmosphere is fun, so its also a great place to enjoy some adult time.There is a large, full bar so you can enjoy beer and cocktails. The menu is your usual fare, and I havent had anything yet that wasnt delicious. The portions are huge!Staff is very friendly and it is spotless.I suggest to call ahead to make sure there are lanes. Even though its huge here, leagues take up quite a bit of space.

So much fun especially since I am learning to bowl it is important that I go somewhere newer bowlers are welcomed. Great place

A sad excuse for a bowling alley, each of the last 4 times i stopped in (at various times and days of the week) only to be told I couldnt bowl due to no open lanes (despite the 10+ vacant lanes each time.) In my estimation, a bowling alley where you can never bowl is useless. Additionally the workers are creepy old men who make underhanded comments to my girlfriend. I would not go here if you are looking to bowl, feel comfortable, or have fun. Bowl a roll is a great example of why bowling alleys are failing rapidly across America and I can only hope the business that takes it place will actually be able to service customers.

I went to Bowl-A-Roll with a group of about 20 and the staff was super helpful! The food we ordered was also done quickly and tasted good.

Friendly Staff (Especially Bob and Sandy), very clean and very nice lanes. Upgraded scoring systems. Awesome food and a nice bar.

Rude service, told there were no open lanes even though there were tons on the “cosmic” side. I’m not paying more for you to turn the lights off and play annoying “mystical” music while I try to get a 110 while the bowling competition you’re sponsoring on the other side is going on. Big bar or else I would do No stars.

This bowling alley had a hostile atmosphere for the entire experience. The staff was unprofessional and impolite ruining the entire night. If you plan on going here I hope you have a good Uber experience because that will be the only enjoyable part of your night.

Took advantage of the Thursday bowl .50 cents/game with a $4 cover charge. Bowled 3 games for $5.50 a person! Tuesdays is $5 cover charge but .25 cents a game. Either day is viable for low price fun bowling on synthetic lanes. This price does not include shoes which are $3.50. Ive had zero problems with the lanes and bowled tens if not hundreds of games here. Very functional and up to date alley with a center bar and a side concession/kitchen area. The lanes come with about 16 lanes on each side of the alley. This separation allows for half of the alley to be lights-out fog machine, etc. Overall, a very neat and fully functional alley would recommend.

We had our family bowling day there. It was a good time in their friendly environment.

Interior is very clean, food is quick and good. I also noticed that they updated the bowling set up things at each lane (they are touch screen now which is very cool ) The staff there are nice and helpful and one round of bowling only costs $6 ($3 for shoe rental and $3 per game) This is a good price compared to other bowling alleys in the area.

Ever since they have upgraded the computers and other features, this has been a premier place for bowling in the Rochester area. The bar doesnt have a large selection, but the prices are great. The food they have is also great and reasonably priced. You can often find discount coupons around town.

Ive been bowling here since I could walk. My family has come here for over 50 years. I love these alleys. I will note that during league nights you might have a hard time getting a lane. Go on Tuesday or Thursday nights to take advantage of great specials.

Wanted to go bowling as a family today for my dads birthday. The staff (Ray) was so nasty and rude to us. It was such a hassle to get the lanes, pay and get shoes. It stressed us all out and ruined our time. I cannot believe this man still works there and has a job with the way he acted towards us. So unorganized.

Staff was super friendly. Everybody in our party had a good time.

I was there today with my School Age program for a field trip. It was a great time for our kids and a great place for a field trip. The staff were simply outstanding making sure we had everything needed to make a smooth transition from getting off the bus to start bowling.Our group ordered food, it was hot ready and again the staff were great in making every transition run smooth. The price was very reasonable and it was a clean well designed facility and a real pleasure to be there. I would highly recommend. this for a very enjoyable place for kids.

Went here with my girlfriend and had a really fun time, we arent particularly good at bowling but we still had tons of fun, the customer service was great, the employees were very friendly, I definitely reccomend this place!

Our church youth group came out for a day of fun & fellowoship. Our 1st encounter with front desk staff was not so nice. Bob was rude & had no customer service skills. However, his interaction with others apoeared to be kind & friendly. His mannerism was rude & unfriendly when dealing with people of color.After we finished bowling, while we were leaving, he brought out the cleaning machine & told the other guy to make sure he clean well.Wow! Treating children in this nanner! Bob definitely needs to know how to treat ALL as equal.

I bowl in the Friday Night Mens League. Just this year I finally made my return after 8 long years however my Brother and my Father have been there for the better part of 15 years. Ive bowled all the way across New York, and I got to say bowl-a-roll is where its at! With the pro shop next door ( that I highly recommend to any bowler whether youre just getting started or experienced) just makes for one excellent experience every single Friday night! Keep up the good work! Hard-working staff and incredible food to boot. Five stars from this guy!!

Very good. The food served was hot and tasty. Good options to drink. I would say its a perfect place for weekend bowling or just chilling with friends.

This is my fourth season in the Silver Stars bowling league. Bowl-A-Roll Lanes has a snack food bar with a grilland deep-fried potatoes, as well as soft drinks, iced tea, water and sports drinks. I often get the French fries. Bowl-A-Roll welcomes all ages of bowlers a long with family and friends. 5 stars.

A nice well managed small bowling alley, Very clean. Reasonable prices. The lanes are very well maintained. Only drawback is that it can get a bit tight when all the lanes are full.

Friendly staff, clean environment, and brand-new scoring computers. Great for a family event. Call ahead of time to determine if they have open bowling, and make sure to grab one of the discount cards from a local business. Bobs Diner, just down the street, usually has some.

Im on a league here and its alright. Outside of league its nothing great. Went in for Cosmic Bowling (midnight bowling) for a birthday once. There was no one else Cosmic Bowling and we were told we couldnt (even though it was advertised) because there were not enough people in [our] group to be worth it. Seems like any number of people in our group wouldve been worth it considering the place was dead...

Fairly priced and the bowling balls where not to greasy so they acully rolled down the lanes.

Bowling staff is great and their pitcher of black and tan for 9 dollars is good. Their food is definitely good portion sized. Only thing that caught me off guard was that their mild wings are more like country sweet. If you are a mild fan I would get their hot

The place looks kind of old and is a bit small. If they do kids bowl free during the summers- just pay for shoe rentals. Prices are good. Havent tried the food. Bowling is fun there. They have the cosmic bowling with music and lights at night.

Took my 3 and 5 year old for their first time bumper bowling. Inexpensive, friendly and helpful staff. This place has a vintage-cool & relaxed atmosphere that we really enjoyed.

Don’t know the guys name but he seemed to be running the place. Was rude and made us feel so uncomfortable that I thought “never again”.

Was a dollar cheaper than the competition in town but wasnt worth that to have my son yelled at because the ball didnt roll to the end of the lane. The guy with the sun name was far from respectful or courteous. Completely rude, blunt. Will not be returning to that establishment.
