It’s a nice theater. Every time I was there the seats where clean. Sometimes the line for popcorn could be long but if you go early enough you would be safe. On Tuesday if you have you rewards card they give you a small free popcorn.

The seats are so comfortable aisles have so much room to actually walk they also have an arcade area and if you get there to early they also have a kitchen with all sorts of food and alcohol and a cool little area to watch tv on mostly sports or advertising bout new movies but its cute as well the seats are in shape of classic cars in a drive up movie theater!

Always love coming to watch movies here.. great prices! Kinda pricey for food but never disappoints. Did some electrical here and the employees were very kind

Always have some issue when we go to this theatre.. no picture, poor sound quality, blurry picture, or one time they couldn’t get anything to work and had to give us all a voucher to come back .. won’t be going there again.

Very Disappointing. Worst service I have experienced in a long time. Manager was inept. Tried to order food on there app, which told me I would have to wait a half hour for popcorn when I was literally the only person in the building. Decided to order anyway but there site kept crashing. Asked the manager for help which he was either unwilling or incompetent. Asked for a refund of my ticket which had a $3.50 service charge on it. He would not refund the service charge.

Seats and service were great. Sound amazing. Screen huge. Just like a cinema should be.

Excellent movie theatre. I’ve visited this location multiple times and have found the staff to be quite welcoming and the theatre quite clean. The seats recline very far back which provides a more comfortable experience.The prices are a little high and the prices for popcorn/snacks/drinks are outrageous but this is to be expected of just about any theatre these days.I highly recommend them and definitely will be returning to watch more films in the future!

Super comfortable recliner seats! Movie sound and picture was good. The screen unfortunately looked like someone threw their milkshake at it, which Im sure is impossible to clean! We went to a family movie at 10 AM and it was reasonable at $6.50 apeice. Definitely will be back!!

This is my favorite movie theater in Rochester. I love there reclining chairs, and their prices are better then others that also have the reclining chairs. The food is expensive but no worse then any other movie theater. The staff has always been friendly.

I really like the lobby. Big games to play. An old drive in to sit at. Very nice! Theater seats were OK. Tickets were reasonable. Food was crazy expensive. Spent nearly $5 on a bottle of water!

Merry Christmas Staff was very busy today but on top of trying to keep everything full and tidy. The only downfall was our popcorn wasnt warm. We frequent this theater often and this is not typical. The manager said they had 700 people go through in just over an hour. This is our first year of going to a movie on Christmas Day. They would have to be prepared for that kind of business. We were unaware but today was there busiest day of the year.

This place has high quality sound & picture. Also a fun hangout with lots of activities and games. Very clean. Friendly employees. Great entertainment!

Best theater in town.

New to the Rochester area, but this theater is very well managed and appointed. All the facilities are clean, comfortable and inviting. They recently upgraded their auditoriums to have leather recliners with assigned seating. Each auditorium entrance has a monitor to display the seating occupancy and assignments. Theres the usual popcorn and food concessions, a drive-in themed screening and dining area, as well as a full arcade and bowling lanes! Havent been to the other two theaters in Rochester yet, but I really like the lack of crowds here. Highly recommend this theater for the great amenities and courteous staff.

I watched a movie in the IMAX and it was a very good experience, loved the popcorn to, the seats were comfy and not tight.

We saw Its A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood. The screen was good, the sound was very good and we loved the recliner type seating. All in all, a great experience.

Love movies! I really like the new recliners I hope they can keep them like new and nice. Only wish they had more then 3 concessions open. Took 20 mins just in that line not including box office line. So show up half hour early!

Great Cinema! It is probably the best deal for a movie theater in town. It shows the latest movies for the best price. On Tuesdays, it is five dollar movies and cheap to free popcorn. Also I highly recommend joining their rewards program. Otherwise, as a Mayo employee, the tickets are always five-six dollars, which is a great deal!

Very comfortable seats!!! Best days to go would on Tues. $5 tickets and $2 hotdogs. Bring a blanket if you get cold easy.

Went to see frozen II. Very nice seating. The line to get snacks wasnt to long. Over all a good experience with the little ones.

What a wonderful place, I love going to the movies and this place is really nice. The seats are so comfortable, the screen in the regular showing rooms are greats and the sound too (I guess is even nicer for the IMAX room). Also the people who work there are kind and profesional. They also have an area for video games, bowling alley with two lines, an area where you can sit down and watch trailers with really cool seats made of old car seats. They have specials, great promotions like $5 Tuesday. Go and enjoy a great movie of your choice while you eat warm popcorn and drink a soda, you wont regret it.

Impressed at how this theater has improved over the years. LOVE the reclining chairs! Tuesday deals are worth it! $6 IMAX shows and $5 regular prices..... plus a free mini popcorn. So great!

Never been to this Cinema. Set in the parking lot once but thats as close as I got. Google keeps asking me for remarks too many places Ive never been. This is the only way I can get rid of them. enjoy five stars

Purchased a ticket for a 3D movie earlier this morning. I went to the theater to print my ticket and get my glasses. Was told by the staff they SWITCHED ALL 3D SHOWINGS TO 2D. They never notified me and will not give me a full refund, even after they acknowledged that the price I paid was for a 3D showing. Completely unacceptable when they were 100% in the wrong. Will not use this theater again and I strongly suggest that no one else does either.

No liquor, one drink at a time, and they open the cans for you before you walk away so you spill on the popcorn and stuff. The seats are those comfy recliner types though so thats nice. Id be more interested if they catered to patrons looking for a drink better.

My favorite movie theater from Rochester, MN. Has international festivals, anime festivals, so much more than blockbusters! I miss the whispered “wherenberg” at intros to movies but I also like Marcus and his family ads too . The chairs are super comfy and screens super good. And Tuesday perks are the best!

Marcus gives a ticket discount to mayo employees and their spouses/families which is great. Concessions are expensive but they do offer promotions on certain days. All in all I like this theater.

Concession was pretty slow, theater was clean and comfortable, nicer of the two big movie theatres in Rochester. Safe environment.

Nice atmosphere. Love the reclining chairs and the walkable space between the seats. Beats getting up or down to allow people to pass thru. Just need a few more staff to do refreshments especially on the $5 movie day (which i love!!). Lines were pretty long.

Movie #6 theatre was almost unbearable the SUPER LOUD volume of the movie. We sat in middle of theatre around aisle H. Even the family of 6 we heard complaining right behind us about how it was very loud!On a positive note, we thoroughly enjoyed the awesome seats, movie and treats. Just take her down a few notches in volume

Awesome and close to home. Service is not the greatest. Clean bathrooms.

Nice atmosphere. Sound system was clear with good surround; could have been a tiny hit louder. Temperature was to warm (winter). Recliners where comfortable but a bit small. Popcorn was good; we did not get a tummy ache like a different theaters popcorn. Staff was pleasant and doing a good job; although they did not appear energetic or happy.

Tuesday’s are the best days to go. I am a young mom of three kids so money is tight. If you join the member club you get free complimentary popcorn on Tuesdays and the movie is only 5 dollars each on Tuesdays. We were able to have a great night for under 20 dollars to see a brand new movie. Will be doing this more often.

I usually go well nights so its not very busy. They have a Fandango ticket system set up so I can always get tickets online before coming. So easy to ever the confirmation code walk in, buy popcorn and head to the theater. The few times I have interacted with staff at the box office they have been helpful and courteous. They have great pricing on group tickets. Super easy to work with to get those reservations. Will do it again. Only complaint is that there is always popcorn spilled on the ground somewhere... But it is a theater so you have to expect some of that.

Went here and was greeted by a happy gentleman that sold us the tickets. Then we got inside to get popcorn and the like. Now.. THAT guy was not fun. He was so, so grumpy. And he seemed to be a manager?? He was telling co-workers to do things. All the while not seeming to care about the customers at all.The faux car seats were sticky and there was debris everywhere.Once watching the movie, I was fine. But given how unkempt the lobby was, I question the sanitation of the lounge seats.

Went to see Weathering With You with a friend. It was absolutely amazing. I love the fact that this theatre shows anime premiers and other anime movies fairly often(i would love it if they would show even more of them though so i dont have to go to the Twin Cities area for some anymore). The theatre was clean and comfortable, the bathrooms were clean as well. I cant give a review about the concessions due to the fact that i didnt get any this time. Will go again for more anime movies in the future.

Love this theater! We see all our movies here. Good popcorn, food selection if youre in a bind for time and pretty decent beers on tap.

Poor customer service with some lazy people working here. Overall the quality of picture and sound is decent and seats are decently comfortable as they have recliners, but if you enjoy dealing with lazy children who dont want to work before your movie, Id go someplace else...I think the only other perk this place has is the IMAX but thats about it.

There are three things that make a great theater for me personally. 1. Reclining seats, 2. Ability to order tickets and select seats online and 3. Clean theater. This theater has all three. Ive seen 7-8 movies here and always had a good experience.

Terrible customer service! Took my family to a movie like we do every Tuesday night and we were running a little behind this time so I called to make sure we were still going to be able to see the movie and get in since it was the last showing and we know the doors lock . Very nice guy says yes you will no problem .. I said perfect be there in 5 minutes which we were .. actually within 4 minutes .. pulled up at 1059 just going on 11 .. get to the doors and they are all locked! Standing outside with my kids .. Called the theatre for almost 5 min before some one picks up (I have the call log for all of this as well). The guy named Drake says the doors lock at 11 and so that means they stop selling tickets then (we were there by then so they were locked before that time) so I explain to him I had called spoke to someone who said we would be able to get in and I have 6 people and we are standing outside .. he continued to argue the point of the doors locking at 11 .. I just got his name and hung up . Horrible Customer Service and how disappointing to have to tell the kids movie night is cancelled even tho we called ahead of time and we were standing right outside ! Definitely will be taking our family nights else where from now on !!

Went to see a movie. The projector wasnt focused correctly. I asked a manager to look at it. They did a small adjustment, but didnt stick around to see if they fixed the issue. Im not a fan of my movies giving me a headache.

Make sure you enroll in their free Marcus Theater Rewards if you go the theater a lot cause points add quick and the rewards are awesome.

The restrooms need serious improvement to make this a 5-star movie theater. They are dated and in poor condition. All else including service is fabulous

I will never attend this movie theatre ever again. They closed the theatre for 2 days for a so called employers party. This day was the only day and theatre in our town to show the 25th anniversary of shawshank redemption. So needless to say it was on their site but not available to see. They should have never put this date on their site... very bad customer service..

Love this place for movie night. On Tuesdays its only $5 for a movie. Plus good eats, comfortable reclining chairs, free parking, what more do you want.

Had probably the worst movie watching experience of my life here today. Almost everything that could be bad about it, was. Started out with the previews being way too quiet to where you could hardly hear them, and the lights still being on during the first 5 minutes of the movie. Then, the projectionist had a light on in the booth where it shined a perfect square in the middle of the screen for at least half the movie. They were also listening to some kind of sports game in the booth where it could be heard in the back row of the theater. Then of course the couple next to me were talking and using their phones, so after about an hour of dealing with it, I had enough, so I left and grabbed an assistant manger. She walked in and told them please stop, and left. They continued talking anyways so her warning didnt help at all. Then, to top it off, the lights came back on with about five minutes left in the movie. Overall terrible, and I will not be coming back. Ill be sticking to Chateau in the NE from now on.

This is the only IMAX theater in Rochester. The staff is friendly and the theaters are generally clean. One thing to note is that the IMAX theater seats do not recline.

Lovely theater experience. Very clean theater with nice recliners. I enjoy the reserved seating available at this establishment. I wish all theaters offered it. Standard concessions available with the normal movie theater prices. The comfort of having a recliner during the film was quite enjoyable!

Just recently went there after their renovations. Honestly we can say this is our favorite theater in Rochester. The seats are super nice and comfortable. The atmosphere is amazing. It feels higher class then the other theaters in Rochester.

Its expensive for tickets, but theyve got some good events that they do. The atmosphere is alright, of course, it depends on how everybody else wants to behave. Never seen the bathroom -- dont ever want to. Dreamseating is a nice touch, which heated seats and such. Also, shoutout to the guys who were goofing during Annabelle (whichever one it was), that made the experience even better, I genuinely mean this. Service is nice. Miss Wherenberg though, I cant even spell it right its been so long.

This isnt the normal theater that we go to but when we did go it was pretty good. Got in fast, and the movie was good. The staff kind of just seem they are there to do the job and get home. I was a little disappointed when I found out the concession sign was outdated and dont serve milkshakes only because I am currently on an all liquid diet. They said it has been changed for awhile so you think it would get fixed or changed?

Great experience. The reclining leather seats add so much. My wife and I were happy they have seats together where the arm rest folds up. The commercials before the movie we way too loud. The movie itself was perfect volume, however. The water in the bathroom was scorching, it should not be painful to wash your hands.
