Best movie theater in Rochester NY. Lounge chairs are super comfortable and cozy. Must go !

Cheap and good and u see it on the big screen after its gone from AMCUpdate one little pet peeve is these 3 things the exit sign being so bright plating on to the screen like if possible dim it or have a way to control it like with an Alexa or something and with the before and after show lights they blar on to the screen and just make it hard to see the screen maby some blockers to just barely get it off the screen so we can see advertisements better and end credits and the lights on the side of the walls just blined u so maby plugging the holes with something so when they are on they dont hurt your eyes and Ik this is a long paragraph but its just 3 simple things that dont take long to do and not that much money but I could be wrong and this is just three little things that are just a little annoying to me everything else is nice and awesome

I love this theatre. Its inexpensive, has reclining seats, the movies are high quality, its clean and though all concessions can be pricey, I feel theyre competitive. If youre willing to wait to see a movie a little later than when its released in the regular movie theatre, youll save a lot of money. If its a particularly popular movie than the wait may be longer than others but its still worth it to me. The staff is generally pretty helpful. Theyre are restrictions on bags and the size youre allowed to bring in as a FYI. They also now offer a rewards program which is nice. Definitely worth it!

I have visited this movie theater twice and each time has been a horrible experience. I guess you get what you pay for. I get that the tickets are cheap, but the children and teens allowed on their own, messing up the movie experience for everyone else is ridiculous. There was a group of teens vaping in the movie theater and on their phones, with video playbacks during the movie. Also, the theater I was in was extremely filthy. Each seat has popcorn and paper all over them as well as the floor. Im not sure how the operation works for the cleaning in there, but it was uncomfortable sitting around mess. Ive made the decision to just watch films during the week that they premiere and if I dont make it to watch certain films, I will rather wait for the release on DVD or on streaming services.

So wonderful to have this theatre in the community! I will say the whole place could use some cleaning but being able to spend $6.00 for 2 people to see a movie in a theatre with reclining seats is wonderful. I reccommend bringing some disinfecting wipes to wipe down your seat that way you know its clean and it wont be sticky!

Great place to take my grand daughter on days off school or just for fun. Cost is low enough can actually afford to get some snacks. Have never had trouble there. Clean and fun. Easy to park.

Super comfy leather reclining seats, was almost empty in the theater. Plenty of leg room, great quality screens and surround sound. Quiet, quick and no lines to get into the theater. Fantastic experience, Ill definitely be back.

You cant beat this theatre. The tickets are dirt cheap and they have comfortable recliner seats. Able to get tickets, refillable bucket of popcorn, and a refillable drink for $20.

Great place to watch a movie and awesome prices only problem is they need to make a rule on age. Today we went to see a movie and there were crying babies and a child maybe two years old yelling and making duck noises the whole time. Completely annoying

Friendly staffing,cheap tickets! For the most part pretty clean. Concession stand a little pricey. Always order a large,get little cups for kids and free refills. Cant beat prices!

Excellent, logical prices, and wonderful new reclining seats! So happy this place came back from the dead, its been a staple of my movie going experience since I was a child. All they have to do is update the interior a bit, and itll be the best place to go for discount movie viewing.

This place has been a staple for my entertainment weather Ive been broke, or doing okay. Wait a few months, and see movies here, and save that money for snacks at the theater, or dinner at Jays afterwards. Remember $2 Tuesdays!

The reason why I say 4 stars is for one specific reason, Ive already experienced Tinseltown with its dividing walls. Here...there is no wall...privacy is reduced and the seats in front of you recline too close for comfort. The price is wonderful, but Im always going to choose more privacy over cheaper price. Why isnt there a business with private rooms yet?

Honestly you cant go wrong for the price. If you just wait a month or so after a movie comes out you can see it at a fraction of the cost in reclining seats!! Ive been going to this theater since I was a little kid and the service has always been quality. Although they removed the arcade which kinda sucks. I would have given them 5 stars had they not.

Love coming here. This is the 1st movie theater where Ive been able to comfortably sit through an entire movie! I used to come here all the time when I was in college. This theater has really been cleaned up, theres reclining seats, the staff is very nice. Brought my Mom here for Mothers Day 2 years in a row now, we both love going to the movies here!

Movies 10 is grrrrrrreat! $4 to see fairly recent movies in very comfortable reclining seats.

Movies 10 (no longer Cinemark branded) is a second run movie theatre where movies go weeks or months after their primary release. In exchange for the wait you get cheaper tickets (but not cheaper concessions, oddly), a slightly less luxurious version of recliners, and no reserved seating.Honestly, its a nice theatre, and great prices that make me much more comfortable taking more whole family to the movies.

Ticket price is good. Soda price is a little high but not bad. Popcorn is still way too expensive! Seats are nice. Volume was way too low. Needs much more volume and more air conditioning. too warm.

Luxury loungers, bargain prices, good amount of butter on popcorn. A little close to the screen, but I love those luxury loungers!

Movies 10, formerly owned by Cinemark, is a discount movie theater that shows films that are leaving movie theater-circulation.Since the new owner took over and upgraded the venue there are now luxury longer seats.Concessions here are good and the staff is friendly.If youve ever been to the Little Theater or Pittsford Cinema you know what to expect here at Movies 10.

We enjoyed our time at Movies 10 last Thursday for Harriett...we were impressed with the cleanliness, warm reception by the staff, their delicious popcorn (even mine requested without butter), and the comfortable reclining seats. Thank you, Movies 10! Well be back!!!

After the upgrade they did with the new chairs, and there low prices. This is always a great place to go see moves that have been out for awhile but not on DVD yet.

I can understand the bag checking, but all employees need to be on the same page. Some customers bags are being checked while others are getting a pass. They need to do better reinforcing this policy and training all employees to follow it.

Always a great steal! I take my 4 year old here instead of spending upwards of $20 on a ticket for a movie he may not enjoy. Im so glad this place opened back up when it did, such a great idea for a family outing.

This theater was one of the nicest and cleanest theaters I have ever been in. My husband and I went to a matinee and had a great experience. They have 10 movies to choose from. Something for everyone. The chairs or should I say recliners are leather and are so comfy cozy. It was like watching a movie in the comfort of your own living room. If we lived in Rochester we would definitely go here.

This place is the epitome of you get what you pay for. Yes the movies are super cheap, yes they now have recliners, but its hard to enjoy a movie when there is someone having a conversation on their phone for the entire thing. If you go in expecting a cheap movie that someone will talk all the way through then you wont be disappointed. Also the recliners are uncomfortable compared to other theaters. Overall not worth it in my book.

I like how they show slightly older movies. So often theres nothing really worth seeing among the new movies all the other theatres play, so then I can find something i missed but wanted to see still playing at movies 10.

This theater is great compared to how the old Movies 10 used to be. The theater is very clean and well kept and the seats are all comfortable reclining seats like the seats that are found in more expensive theaters. The ticket prices are also very reasonable.

Great place for affordable movie viewing. Big screens and comfy seats.

First time back since it reopened. The seats are comfortable recliners and actually look clean. The audio is great, nice bass and good highs. The staff is friendly. Concession food is better than most theaters(french fries, chicken fingers, pizza logs, pretzel bites, etc). Tuesdays are 2$ movies all day. Only complaint I had was the exit signs cast a red glow on one corner of the screens. Also I miss that epic arcade it had before.

Always clean and you cant be at the ticket prices! Makes for an affordable family night. They check bags, which I understand...with low ticket prices they need to make money from concessions.

What a hidden gem. My girlfriend and I went to see Best of Enemies here, and we truly enjoyed it. The prices of everything were what you expect at a discount theater, but with a first run theater feel. Very nice movie house, and we would definitely come back here, if we are in the area again.

On a scale of 1-10...I give them a 10...they always satisfy my needs for entertainment... good movie...great snacks and exceptional customer service! Movies 10 should offer coupons along with their discounts...but until then...Im satisfied and nothing will change that!!!

I have a lot to say about this theater. It has reclining seats recession stand prices are good. One day a week its only $2 to get in the other times its only $3. If you want to have a birthday party there the prices is not bad. For the movies they open at 12:30 they have something there for all ages. Sometime I pay for two movies just relax and watch two different movies.

You know I have to give this place five stars because it is a lot different than when I was younger and I went there. The seats are comfortable the popcorn is good service is pretty good. Bathrooms were a little sticky but the quality of the movie is right up there with the movies that you can spend $15 a ticket for. This is a great place to take your kids we actually detective Pikachu 3D and they even got the closed caption which is great because my one daughter is deaf. Overall this is a great experience good job and keep up the great experience. We will definitely be back soon. Especially if youre going to get and the Avengers endgame in 3D

I loved it!! It was my first time coming back to this location since it has been reopened, The new recliner chairs or so much better!! Price for everything was very low, I spent 11 dollars on a large popcorn with butter and A medium soda thats extremely low compared to other locations. Also the movie that recently just came out was just 3 dollars for admission!!! The only thing i will complain about is they removed the arcade and made it into a ghost town of a party spot, An eyesore really. Bring back the arcade and you will bring back some life to the main entrance!!!

Movies 10 beats all others, Were else can you go watch a movie that is a little older but still not out on DVD yet for $3 or $4.. They also have a Popcorn and soda combo for about $11. So for $15 you can enjoy yourself. I go as often as I can.

Since their renovation this has become my favorite theater in Rochester. The seats recline and are always clean, the popcorn is fresh, and you cant best the prices. I suppose the only drawback for some folks is that you cant see something on opening day, but they get everything once its out of the main theatres.

Has a good price, recliners, comfortable seats, the bag checking is fine with me I understand the problems. The staff is alright, a little lazy on cleaning but still alright, But the big problem is the annoying people,kids running, on phones needs better staff to stop this problem

HORRIBLE. The whole theater just kept talking and even when staff came to check the doors, they said nothing. We were id checked for a rated r movie yet groups of 8 year olds ran rampid and kept messing with the seats while a baby and her super respectable mother yelled yo and hell nah when nothing would happen on screen. We left early and it was just a waste of $30. We miss the old owners who actually gave a care about the movies being enjoyable. Definitely not coming back.

Chairs are super comfy (big and recline is controlled by buttons), theaters are clean, and prices for movies are usually $3-4. Perfect place to catch the movies you might have missed when they first came out but still want to see on the big screen
