Great seats, prices, and atmosphere. Would go here again many times if it was closer to where I lived! Long Live The Movie Theaters!

The reclining seats make this the most comfortable theater in the area. Parking can be tough on weekends/evenings but the prices are fairy reasonable! Best movie prices in area, fresh popcorn and real butter!!! I loved it here and will come back again.

This was a nice evening out. The feel in the theater was warm and cozy. The smell of buttered popcorn was intoxicating. The recliner seats oh so comfortable. Mr. Rodgers was phenomenal. The entire experience was a 10!!!

Theatre felt old now that most theatres now have stadium seating, reclined seats, etc. This theatre has some reclining seats. Screen also seemed weathered. Still though, a decent place to see a film in a good location.

My family had received free movie tickets for this cinema for christmas which was exciting because we had never been. Went to redeem the tickets to see the new Star Wars movie and was told that we could not use them for that movie and only explanation from the manager was “ Just because they couldn’t select it on the computer” which was a joke because tickets were for a free movie without an explanation on restrictions. Manger was very rude with a poor demeanor not suited for the position she was in. Tried to have a nice time with my family at a new theater but was thoroughly disappointed and will not recommend this cinema.

This theater is the best. Afternoon tickets are cheap ($6.75 per) and popcorn + soda combo is also priced well ($4.50? I think). The seating is amazing. Everyone gets an ultra soft reclining chair with a huge amount of legroom. Ive never sat in a theater with so much leg space! Movie screen is not huge, but everything else was great.

Literally the best theater in Rochester. I try to go see every movie here. Its never crowded, prices are great, seats recline and the place is always clean. What else could you ask for.

I like this cinema personally because its were I watched my favorite film, but also they have Pepsi instead of coke and Pepsi is a lot better to me (and its cheaper than AMC)

Went in the month of Feb. So cold we had to keep our coats on. Big black mark on the screen in theater 5. Told this is an independently owned theater. Reminded me of the low budget theater Movies 10!

Very nice small theater with better pricing than the large chain theater houses. Worth a a try, especially since they occasionally get indie find that the chains dont bother with.

My favorite theater. They did a great job and I am in love with it. The reclining seats are very comfortable and clean. They left the slope to the theater floor which actually make it more comfy and increase visibility of the chair in front of you isnt being used. Always Sony 4K and awesome digital screens and projection. Have fun!

We viewed The Good Liar on Friday Nov 29. Arrived too early and were besieged by ads and ear-splitting trailers. The audio volume was ridiculously load. I really should have brought my ear plugs.Seats were excellent and projection of film were very good. Even during the film, volume was excessive. And I am 81 yrs old without a hearing aide.

The lack of ability to reserve seats is a killer for this theater. Went to see a movie and there was not a single pair of seats together. When we approached the manager to get passes to come back at a later time, she was very rude and proceeded to say there were still 30 seats available. However, that still didnt solve the problem that they were all single seats. The attitude was absolutely unnecessary. Screens and sound arent even good quality. Sticking with AMC for now on.

My all the time go to movie theater! They are doing a fabulous job in keeping it up neat and clean. Cool recliner seats! Awesome projection!Before 2 pm only $5. Tuesday bargains are all day.The concession stand is not ripping you off like the Regal or AMC.Local movie lovers must support this wonderful gem of Rochester, NY.

I do like this theatre but yesterday while watching Little Women in theatre 5, there was huge distracting scratches in the middle of the screen. It really interferred with the picture. We do hope this will be fixed in the near future.

Little known jewel of a theatre in Pittsford plaza. Cheaper tickets than the other movie theatres and you can buy them online if you want. $5 day is on Tuesdays all day. They even have modernized the seats into recliners and have a reward program. Concessions are a little cheaper also on some things. Have enjoyed coming here for years!

Love the recliners, when available. I wish they would expand them past the the first 10 rows in all theaters. No one likes to sit that close to the screen

Went to see the 11:50am showing of Downton Abbey at Pittsford Cinema 9. I was pleasantly surprised that the ticket price was just $5.00! The seating is great, with reclining very comfortable chairs! Highly recommend!

Went to watch the joker. Found the price very reasonable but the theatre 5 had the screen damaged and the sound wasn’t that good. Seats were OK. Comfy seats only on the front

The seats are comfy and its hard to beat $5 tickets (but you have to go before noon). The location is great because there is so much that is easily accessible if you have to wait. This has become our go-to movie theater.

Went to see Dr. Sleep this last week. Really enjoyed the recliners. It was a little pricey. $18 for two people but worth it.

Husband and i went to see Aladdin it was great, the service was very quick to buy tickets and our drinks. The staff was friendly. The theater was clean and we love the spacious seats and how comfortable they are and that they recline.

While the bathrooms and drink station could use extra monitoring for cleanliness during busy hours (minus one star), this theatre is otherwise well-managed. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Real butter on the popcorn is always a treat.I dinged one star because the theatre we were in, Theatre 5, has a huge black smudge in the center of the screen (its at least 2 ft tall by 2 ft wide) which was very distracting during several scenes.

The theater is quite intimate, with their reclinable very cushioned seats...its futuristic.

What a joke. We go in to see 6:30 Endgame, get there at 6:05. Guy was talking to his buddy while scanning our ticket, not paying attention. Get told to wait in line for seating. Watched people go into our theater (auditorium 1) but didn’t say anything. Maybe they had advanced seating, and the idiot told us to wait in line, so I’m inclined to believe him. Kept waiting, wasn’t sure why, but again, I trusted the information I was told. By the time 6:50 rolls around we finally ask next to us if they were waiting for the same time. Nope. The line was for the 7:30 showing (auditorium 8). Told the guy of his screw up and he said he was sorry but you know there’s limited seating he doesn’t know if he can keep us in the 7:30 showing. After speaking to the manager, she said she would make sure we stayed in. Overall, we saw the movie we wanted just unnecessarily waited an extra hour and a half because the kid didn’t do his job cause his conversation was too important.

Very slow today at concessions, took 15 min to get through the line. Stuck in 2 back seats that don’t recline. Very uncomfortable.

My favorite aspect of this theater is it shows films that arent at the bigger theaters. I was able to watch The Last Black Man In San Francisco last week, and soon Im going to watch The Art Of Self Defense. I wouldnt have been able to watch these films had it not been for Pittsford Cinema 9...The popcorn here is superb, prolly best in town.

We took my mom to see Downton Abbey the Movie. On Tuesdays tickets for seniors are $5.00. We enjoyed viewing the film in the comfort of plush reclining seats. We hope to take my mom who will be 99 in a few months to see more films on Tuesdays at this venue.

Pretty Good. 1st time ever in that Plaza that I didnt know about and I loved it!!! Loved the movie theater.

This is our go to theater. Love the reclining seats to relax and enjoy a movie with delicious popcorn with real butter. The staff is always pleasant and the theater is always clean.

Awesome electric recliners. Tons of legroom. Totally redid the place. Awesome Dolby sound system speakers all how long left and right sides us wall. All this in theater #1 which is my personal experience for the movie I just saw. I am looking forward to returning to enjoy more movies at this theater (which I havent done in years) vs watching one at home!

Very underrated movie theater, honestly didn’t even know it existed but very happy I found this place . I would have to say this is probably one of the best movie theaters in Rochester, it’s very quiet & comfortable but don’t let the outside fool you it’s HUGE . The employees are nice and I would say it’s pretty clean, seats recline way further than expected and are also very comfortable. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND & not to mention tickets are 8$ !

I usually love this theater but had a very unpleasant experience there today. Bohemian Rhapsody was supposed to start at 2PM and we arrived at 1:55, found seats and watched commercials for 3 minutes. Then, nothing. 2PM came and went...nothing but horrible rap music and an exhortation from Chevrolet on the screen to enjoy the show. After 10 minutes I was getting angry and after 18 minutes I went out to the lobby to ask what was happening. A staff member assured me that managers were looking into it. I suggested that perhaps the managers should tell the audience why there was a delay. The staff member told me (stiffly and politely, twice) that managers are looking into it. I suggested AGAIN that his upper management should somehow alert the audience.He then told me this wont happen. Someone finally came into the theater to make an announcement (trying to make herself heard over the rap music) that the theater sometimes has problems getting a signal because of inclement weather. Sunday 11/4/18 in Rochester NY was a beautiful, calm sunny day. I have no patience with this incompetence. If there is a delay in services for ANY reason, the management should make it clear to the paying customers WHY they are waiting for something that should be on time every time.

Just saw Endgame! The 3D had a few issues in the beginning, but it was fixed quickly. They need to clean their screens though, there was a pretty distracting stain on it throughout the whole movie. Otherwise, still a very enjoyable experience!

Love the Pittsford Cinema. Great prices for the concession stand. Also most of the theaters have been switched over to the comfortable reclining seats.

The customer service is good and the prices are competitive. The comfortable recliner seats without having to reserve ahead let me and a friend decide to see a movie as a spur of the moment treat. The theater runs some of the more artistic films that dont go to the big theaters like Tinseltown and Regal Theater. It is also a cleaner theater than the local Regal theater has been lately. The only downside is that the screen is a little on the smaller size.

Easy to see a variety of movies shown frequently through a run with $5 tickets all day Tuesday and every day before noon. Friendly, helpful staff keep lines moving & concessions ready to go.

The best place for movies! First run movies, great prices, good snacks. If you go before noon, you only pay five dollars! The highest price youll ever pay is $8.50 on weekend nights. The seats are reclining and comfy! They serve real butter with their popcorn! Its a great place. Youll enjoy it there.

Very uncomfortable seats designed for men 5 foot 10 and taller. For a short person the headrest is so poorly placed you just cannot get comfortable. Some of the seats are broken: when you sit down you fall. And the popcorn is too salty.

Theatre seats were too close to screen. Comfortable but the picture is not clear that close. Also a bit smelly.

If you buy tickets ahead of time, you do not get to choose seats. We didnt think this would be a problem until we arrived at the movie and there were only three seats left, nowhere near each other! Very comfortable seating with recliner chairs, but you should plan on getting there early so that you can grab good ones, even for movies that have been out for several weeks.

Friendly, clean, concession stands. The lines move quickly and efficiently. Well lit hallways leading to the 9 different theatres. The reclining seats are very comfortable and clean as well. Have fun!

Pros five dollar movies before noon. With small kids thats a life saver. Cons... The first theater we sat in had a couple of broken chairs and it was a little dirty. In walking around with my two year old who didnt sit well for secret life of pets...I discovered random theatre chairs in the hall ways and it being a little shady looking going farther into the back of the building (to other theatre rooms). The staff are nice though and snack selection is ok.

Great seats. Good movies. Many of the patrons are inconsiderate. The patrons seem to be the 50+ crowd who talk with abandon-use their phones and bring their own snacks. At my last visit about two weeks ago I nearly got up and left with the 60+ year old clowns two seats down with their popcorn from home in a very loud bag and the two in front with their cell phones. Worse than any rude teenager I have ever met

The theater is local and they have a great selection of concession items half the price of the bigger theaters. They have put in recliner chairs now which is a nice perk.

A very good theater with a lot of small to medium screening rooms ... Its our first choice for where to see a movie. With that said, in Oct 2018 theater 5 had a huge discolored and scratchy blotch on the screen which would leap out visually in every brightly lighted scene and completely destroy the illusion of the movie. Assuming that they get that fixed, this is a good place to go for a movie.

Cheap tickets and they got the reclining seats

Bought tickets online, they oversold the movie, no seats, only offering partial refund. Manager was beyond rude and generally useless.

I think this theater is pretty good. I always go to see movies here. Its clean and always have nice seats. Though havent seen a 3D movie here, but 2D movies generally have recliner seatings and they are of good quality.

Most convenient theatre for me but the ticket sales and concession lines are ridiculous. There should be one line to purchase just tickets at popular times and 3 lines for tickets AND concession. According to the staff at the counter and the manager that I spoke to today, the owner won’t change this. Apparently it’s a money maker for the owner and even with constant complaints from moviegoers, according to the manager, he’s not interested in changing the set up. We just stood in line for 10 min while a group of teens purchased multiple concessions with multiple transactions and then tickets. Meanwhile we were unable to get seats together and opted for another theatre. I sense the staff at the counter is frustrated with the sales set up and clearly the manager is burdened by the constant complaints. Good business sense would lend one to believe that listening to your customers makes for loyal customers. C’mon, owner, get it together!

Ive always loved this theater.

Drove a long distance to watch movie. Arrived a few minuets late. Manger would not let me in too see movie. He said it was their policy. I never heard of that. I think they lost money as I agreed to pay full price for the ticket. I would have easily payed over $20.00 for ticket and snack. I left disgusted as no explanation to the policy was given.

Standard theater. Shows some films you would normally only see at a theater like The Little. Standard over-priced concessions. Recently has reduced hours on some days; not sure if this is a winter thing

People who work there are great!!However...the bathrooms are in desperate need of repair and they have been that way for years. And, they need to get rid of Pepsi and offer Coke products instead.

As someone else said, theater 5 screen has damage and only the seats close to the screen recline. Unfortunately the other seats are very uncomfortable. The head rest is very weird and by the time the movie was over, my neck was very sore.

Went to see John Wick 3 at 730pm showing. Got large popcorn and large soda (which the server convinced us to upgrade to for the free refills). 45 minutes into movie the popcorn and soda were gone. My date left the movie to get the refills, waited for a server, no one behind the counter. Waited for a few minutes and went back to theater cause missing the movie empty-handed. What good are refills if noone around to refill them? It wasnt like it was past 830pm. But other than that you cant beat the $5 Tuesday tix.
