Best place to bring your dogs, swimming on the bay if choose. Long walking along the shore line. Bathroom for humans and a place to bath your pets! Great views all around, San Francisco Bridge or mountains depending upon where you are. Doggie clean up bags and garbages are placed throughout the park
Great place for dog walks off leash. Great dog parents. Tolerated my goats off leash with no criticism. Very good experience. Im out of area now but been going for YEARS!! Need more places like this.
Gorgeous large off leash dog area, great for exercising pups and their humans!
Great place to bring your dogs. Everyone was pretty distant with one another and wearing masks. There isnt any water available so make sure to take water for your dogs.
Well taken care of park, clean, trash cans placed throughout for convenience, decent amount of parking and a beautiful panaramic view from the Bay Bridge to Richmond Point. Weekends and holidays the parking is generally crowded but the park is still large enough for your pups activities.
Whether was excellent. I was met during my entire walk with much needed love from the dogs at the dog park.
My favorite place to take my dogs to. Dogs are allowed off leash and have plenty of places to go swimming. Its usually pretty cool here, which is great if youre trying to get away from the high inland temperatures.
Its a great dog park with gorgeous views. Theres no enclosed space, but lots of areas to walk around and see the views.
Doggie paradise and a coffee shop too.Acres of grassland for your dog to run and play.Or, your dog can take a dip in the calm water of the shoreline.
Its a nice place theres lots of dogs and in my opinion its most beautiful when you go at the sunset
Nice paths everywhere for hike and bike. I love dogs but the best part of the area is blocked just for dogs and no bikes. Also the dog people are dumping cats. The city has bathrooms for the dog walkers. I hope the city installs solar camera to catch the people dumping cats.
Great place to take your dog. Just be very careful because there’s a lot of foxtail.
This is a friendly place -- wonderful for dogs to romp offleash with new-found friends, to be sure -- but dog owners are a generally cordial bunch as well. There are many spots to simply sit and watch the world go by as your dog runs, sniffs and explores to its hearts content. Everyone comes home tired but happy:)
Super beautiful views and very dog friendly. Social distancing rules were followed and people are respectful of you and your dog :)
Excellent place to walk your dog and the view of the bay is pretty incredible at times.
Lovely little dog park. Not too big but certainly not too small. Quite busy when we went. Great views of San Francisco.
Point Isabel dog park is my fave in the bay area! Its right on the bay, very accessible, has an on-site dog washing service, and the canines (and human companions) are generally chill.
A great spot for watching sunset with the city skyline. Probably depends on the season but it was howling wind there last night
Very beautiful area. Nice and cool versus inland lol Easy access of the freeway. Kids loved it
Beautiful walk! No trash! Bathrooms maintained well. Lots of dogs, and owners almost always pick up after them!
Great place to take the dogs for off-leash romping. Lots of other dogs and almost 24 acres of land! There is a little Cafe for food and coffee and a dog grooming place to wash up if needed. We met our dogs sister we found through Embark DNA testing, their 6th time hanging out!
Great wide open space to walk and let your dog run off lease. Great group of people.
Our dogs have loved this place for many years
Great place to walk your dog off leash. All the dogs I see there are always having a great time. They run all over or take a dip in the water.
Excellent spot to walk your pets, AWESOME bike trails, hiking trails and marshlands
The best place to take your friendly dog where they can romp, smell and play off leash in this refreshing reserve by the Bay.
Great place to go and take your furry four legged family members out for some fresh air. My dog likes to jump in the water and swim whenever shes able. Has great views, good walk ways, and a large open grass area. Just a word of caution, if your dog isnt the friendliest I suggest keeping them on the leash when walking about. Some people are WAY to judgemental if there happens to be a scuffle and they wanna go and tell someone about it. Use your best judgement, after all you know your dog better than anyone else. Thanks for taking the time to read this and best wishes to you and your pets!
Nothing but the be BEST pups with their owners. DEFINITELY recommend taking fur babies here.
Great place for pups with beautiful views and even a little dog swimming.
Glass beach literally covered with wave worn crockery. A found art paradise.
Great place for happy doggies.
Its a nice bike trail there and Beautiful scenery
Very beautiful but alot of dogs of leash and some dogs are agressive and its so many dogs its seem more like a dog parl than anything so be careful but people are nice views are nice i love it
Great place to take your dog if your dog is trained. And there is a cafe
Could possibly be the coolest dog park in the bay!! Off leash access and everyone is LOVING it!! Doggy access to the ocean, much needed and dogs and humans alike were enjoying the water today. Excellent level pathway to walk along the water. Restrooms, ample parking even when busy(some times takes a moment to find a spot) and as should be, gotta love the doggy drinking fountain.. added bonus is a KILLER view of the Oakland Bay bridge and the GoldenGate on a clear day..
Point isabel is one of my dogs favorite places to go. I can get breakfast or lunch and a drink at the sit and stay cafe (minus the sit and stay part during COVID). If youre into hot tea, they have quite the selection. The park is acres and acres of unleashed dog park with grassy plains and water areas for your dogs pleasure. On our way out after our fun filled day we stop at Mud puppies for a bath on the way out. They even offer services like nail and glands for less than the vet. The folks at the dog wash and cafe are always pleasant!
Beautiful views, easy access to paths & water, it was worth the detour on my trip home.
Our go-to place when we want the dogues to be happy
The great place to bring your dog and get a coffee
BEAUTIFUL DAY & A BEAUTIFUL PLACE
This is doggie world I am surprised there are not pet store kiosks.
If you love your dog, you must visit!
Plenty of people out....nice crowd. Majority of the folks were wearing masks. Gorgeous day!!
Great Place to walk your dog but it is very busy
A nice place to walk with your pets. Youll see most of the people walking here with their pets. But the place is very windy though.
One of the largest off leash dog parks in the Bay Area. Dogs can still escape but they have limited routes for exit. Pelicans too.
A dog park that can walk and stay on grass. Next to water. Many people come and it has nice views.
Great open space to hang with the family (and/or you pets).Coffee there is so-so...
Great place to let the dogs out!
I enjoy riding bike path towards Richmond marina.
Life saving cheer from watching happy free running dogs and a Bay view beguiling in any weather. Most people are masked and keep distance, those who dont can be easily avoided by walking off the trail.
Good place to take your dog for a walk.
Great spot to take a walk by the Bay. It was closed for a while and now its open to public last time I went to this spot(8-16-2020).Enjoy
What can I say but a fantastic place to walk your four legged friends
Beautiful easy to bike. Very flat. Great peer and beach!
Beautiful views all around. So many dogs were running and playing and having a great time. Nice walk if you dont have a dog.
Excellent dog park. Tons of space, beautiful views, concessions for dogs and people alike. Seeing turkeys is not out of the ordinary. Love this place.
Dog friendly and great views!
Hella windy most of the times Ive been there, seems like a popular place to wind/kitesurf. Lots of folks walking doggo friends.
This is a great place to walk your dog, see fireworks from Richmond and just spend some time near the water of the bay. It can be a little crowded but there is always street parking available.
Large circle path off leash park with great views. Dogs swimming, playing, walking everywhere! Best off leash park Ive been to.
Off leash park for dogs. By the shore w/ a nice view. Free parking to boot.
Great place for a walk on the bay either by yourself (w/friends) or like me with my dogs. Has to be one of, if not the largest off-leash parks in the country.
We go here regularly. If not everyday, we go at least every weekend. Arrive early to get a good parking spot. Otherwise, there is street parking all the way to Costco. We love the community of dog owners and walkers and look forward to seeing all the happy dogs! This is dog paradise!
I love Point Is..great place to let the dogs run and socialize. Great place to meet people or just take a stroll listening to music or a podcast. The park is very well kept and the poop bags are always stocked. The only downside to the place are the people who go there and do not pick up after their dogs. This brings down the beauty of the place just a bit and unfortunately you cant add a half star which would make this a 4 and a half review. Other than that by far the best dog park in the area.
Point Isabel is a nice place to bring the dogs but I wish they would clean it a little and maybe have some fencing for larger dogs. If you have a small dog and bring it you might have problems with the pit bull people and the angry dog people
This park is AMAZING! Hands down the best “dog park” I’ve ever been to. They have a groomer, cafe with good coffee, poop bags and water stations for dogs. There’s even a place to rinse off your dog if they go crazy in the mud. My pup went wild and absolutely loved it. Everyone was super friendly and seemed happy to be there. It’s a doggie haven. ️
Great Public dog clerk. Parking is a little tough during peak hours, but the owners are responsible and there is a dog wash and small human cafe. If you are looking for a free afternoon with your puppy this is the place for you.
Definitely one of the most beautiful parks in the city and the best place to take my dog and run him around!
Absolutely beautiful park with wonderful views of the bay. Most here are super friendly, including the dogs. Fairly clean for a dog park with a store and picnic tables right next to it.Parking can be a bit of a headache, but there are usually people coming and going at all times.
This is one of the Best Dog Parks that I Visit Repeatedly!! Fantastic Location Right Near Or Practically On The Bay! And Your Dog Can Run Free Or Stay On A Leash! Also Its Nice To Get To Know Other Dog Owners And Thats A Plus +! .
This Place Is For Dogs & Dog Lovers Only. There Is A Cafe That Sells Coffee & Food Plus A Place To Get Your Dog Cleaned & Groomed. The Best Time To Go Is On The Weekends Between The Hours Of 8am & 10am. There Are Breath Taking Views Of San Francisco, The Golden Gate Bridge & Much More. There Is Also A Beach For The Dogs To Jump In The Water. Its Very Cool Here & That Makes It Great For Dogs. Always Pack A Light Jacket & Some Water Because Hey It Is The San Francisco Bay =). Also You Are Aloud To Take Your Dog Off Leash & Let Them Roam Around But Keep In Mind, Theres Not To Many Gates To Keep Them In.
The most gorgeous view from a dog park youll ever get
If you own dogs and live near the area, you probably know about this park already. Theres a small coffee shop if you forgot (or too lazy) to pack your own. Theres also a small dock if your dog likes to take a dip in the bay!
First time going and it is super cute! Lots of dogs, friendly owners, plenty of sea and city views. You can hit up Costco and head with furry right next door! I will be back for sure!
Talk about a dog park with a view! On a clear day you can see San Fran, the Golden Gate, Bay Bridge, and some of Marin co. I love this place. Its so relaxing here. Its a bit of a drive for me but I dont mind and neither does my dog. Completely off leash with space and more space. If your dog fancies a swim then it will have plenty of water entry options. Theres a nice long trail if you just want to walk out a tons of field space to play catch.I have not had any trouble with dog owners not watching their dogs. There is a cafe called Sit& Stay and Mudpuppys where you can get your pup bathed after playing.Tips:-can get chilly here esp. In the evening.-poop bags only in 2 locations at beginning of trail so grab when you get there.-bring towels if your pup likes the water.-beware of foxtails-no water drinking stations on trail for pup. Bring a pop up bowl a bottle.-bathrooms for humans at the beginning of the trail-parking can get full later in the day-not enclosed. Keep your pup on a leash if you have a runner who doesnt know boundaries or isnt really for that much freedom.
My dogs absolutely love coming here! Its beautiful and there is plenty of space to roam and play.
My dog loves this place! So much space to run freely and play with other dogs. It can get a little crowded on the weekends, but overall great dogs and friendly owners.
Great open space to take your dog for a run off the leash. Its very popular and because of its large size it never feels crowded. Good views of the bay. Lots of free parking, snack bar and dog bathing and grooming services by Mud Puppies
Great for dogs. Its basically a dog park. Hell it has a café with a pet grooming business nextdoor.
Great place to walk your dog
Lovely area with walking trails and views of the bay and San Francisco. Its great if you have or like dogs. Theyre everywhere.
The happiest place on Earth. Never had a single problem with another dog or owner in this little paradise. My dog Rooney loves to run and the wide open plains are perfect for it. Come and randomly happen upon a husky or corgi meet up for a cuteness overload. Support the PIDO members of you see them by buying some merch as they do a lot to keep Point Isabel beautiful. Couldnt recommend this place more to dog owners and dog lovers alike.
My dogs over it here!! Watch out for the foxtail though
OH BOY!Dog Heaven...rain or shine you will find more dogs here than any other East Bay dog park.Great coffee...stop and treat yourself with a bath if you wish ;)
Best place to walk your dog, plenty of friendly people and dogs
My favorite off-leash dog park! People and dogs here are super friendly. theres water here my dog can play in (and protected marshlands she cant!) And a hose station for cleaning her off after.
Best dog park ever.
Beautiful weather and well taken care of park
Super awesome place for socializing your dog. There are many dogs here, I have never seen as many dogs loose in one place. I would not recommend bringing aggressive or scared dogs to this location, because it will be hard to control the environment as there is many dogs greeting each other and owners don’t always have perfect voice command. They have a coffee shop/grooming shop. I did not buy anything or take my dog to the shop. I only find it a little weird that they share the same building and a little unsanitary.
This is a Hidden Gem with great views! I could sit here all day and dog watch. You can actually see the dogs smiling here, they look like children running around playing. Theres a dog wash and store thats cool, bathrooms, and picnic tables along the trail. Great to jog, or stroll with a coffee. On a nice day you could bring your lunch down here, my sons and I actually come here and fish too.The weather varies, warm to chilly and windy most evenings, dress in layers.
Very big and peaceful place
Great place to let the dogs run free. If your dog likes to swimming or play in the mud like mine book a wash appointment right in the park at Mud Puppies.
So much fun I did not know what to expect before I arrived. Once I arrived I was so happy I drove the long distance to come and take my dogs for a beautiful and fun entertaining day. I only spent about an hour there but my dogs had so much fun !There were so many dogs that were all friendly and off leashes.. It was a cool experience. My dog is little and had some trouble climbing down on his own to go for a swim but we hand took him down passed all the rocks and he was able to play in the water (he is still a little nervous of swimming) but he loved it !Go to point Isabel regional shoreline for some fun in the sun with your babies ;)
