This place was absolutely gorgeous. We went for an infant photo shoot in the fall and I was amazed at how clean and well maintained every area we went to was. Most public areas like this are so poorly maintained, not here! I just wish I lived nearer by as this would be an excellent place to go for walks.

Nice park but the people where very rude and even tho the website shows it has a dog park we were quickly and rudely told dogs are not allowed before we even got a chance to get out of the car. I tried to explain that the website said they had one that they may need to update the info the lady snapped at me. Saying it was the other park attached to it. Which is fine I understand but the rudeness was not warranted.

Lovely place for an easy walk. Nearly all the paths are paved with very few if any steps. (There are quite a few slopes, however.) Most of thetrails are about 1/4 mile long and they all intersect. Lots of nice trees of a wide variety. Perfect place for some of of older folks to get some fresh air and stretch their legs. Its not for someone wanting something strenuous - its more the Lets take Granny out for some air. type of place. This is a private park not a public park. They try to restrict things like kids in skateboards and bikes. We are the guests of the owners. They have every right to restrict whatever activity it behavior they choose to.

It has that great view and the spark of a beautiful landscape. When I was a kid it was a small ecosystem and the water was flowing through the creek and there was frogs and wildlife. Now as an adult the water has ran dry and the wildlife has dwindled to just squirrels. The place has become a walking area. I think they need something new that brings more to the area.

Took my little buddy to the dog park there and he loved it. It had park benches and picnic tables there also. The bad bad part is there is no water unless you bring your own for your pets. Also there is no shade there for either them or you. They do have poopy bags and trash can for the waste. But is really nice place to take your pet for the most part.

Its a nice quiet place. Its well maintained and has nice playgrounds (one area for small kids and a second area for bigger kids) the problem is in the yard of a neighboring house (20ft from the large playground) the is a bee hive. This means the playground is swarming with bees. If you or your kids are allergic STAY AWAY. We had to rush away because I got stung and Im allergic.

It was a very nice park but the staff was very unprofessional. We were there 10 minutes after closing and the staff yelled at us then took a picture of our license plate and also my group of friends and I without our consent and threatened to call the police even after we apologized for not knowing the closing times. We will not be going back.

This park is NOT pet friendly. There is a sign right at the entrance to the park that states...for the protection of our wildlife and the safety of our patrons dogs and cats are not allowedI went there to take my dog for a walk and saw the sign right away. Then as I was preparing to return to my car a gentleman came out of the parks dept building in the parking lot to make sure I knew dogs were not allowed in the park. He was very polite about it, but it was still frustrating to me.I understand dogs needing to be on a leash and picked up after, but not allowed at all is crazy. From what I could see of the park from the parking lot, it looked like a nice little park with a decent walking path.

I have only been at the front of the park. We will be moving close to this park and I saw a statement by a reviewer that it isn’t pet friendly. That alarmed me. I called the information office. The lady told me that is NOT true. They require you to have your pets leashed and pick up after them. Dogs are welcome with these reasonable rules. I’m looking forward to enjoying it with my dogs.

This park absolutely beautiful and great for easy walking with a stroller. The beauty of the park alone would be 5 stars but I am giving it a 2 star rating because of how rude the man who works here is.I hate leaving bad reviews because generally I am a pretty easy going person and I can understand that parks have set hours and rules. I have come here twice now with my 2 children to go for a walk and BOTH times he has run out of the building telling me the park is closing even though there is still an hour until it closes. Today I got to the park at 5:55pm and he ran out of the building telling me they closed in 35 minutes. I said, dont you close at 7? And he went on a tirade about about how everyone needs to be back at their car at 6:45 to leave the park. Forgive me if I am confused but the park is open until 7...not 6:45. I understand it must get annoying when people stay too late and he has to wait before he locks the gate for the evening but come on! This is the second time I have felt like I need to just leave even though the park is open and not closing anytime soon. As I sit here typing at least 5 people have pulled up and gotten out to walk, and he has told them the park is closing so they all left. It is 6:30pm. It is a shame because people want to come and enjoy this place but are basically told to leave when there is plenty of time to walk around. I feel he could be nicer and just politely let people know the park closes right at 7pm and what the current time is without being rude and hostile.**Note: This review is for the side of the park that is privately funded NOT the side with the playgrounds and dog park.**

If you could give this a 0 rating thats what Id give it. Went here to get family pictures done with our little girl who just turned 1. We also had our dog (6 lb papillon) who was going to remain in a basket in our shots. 1 thing for sure that makes this park the worst park in the state, is its employees. Its a shame really because it has potential. I was here 2 weeks ago for a reunion and I saw a woman with her 2 grandchildren and also strapped to her chest was a small dog in a pouch. They were enjoying a nice stroll around the park. All I wanted to do was use a basket to put our small dog and our little girl in for a basket and ballon picture. I wasnt going to let the dog run loose. Anyway, about my experience a couple things to note. My dog is a service dog and I have the documents to prove it but the woman who works there will not let you get a word in to explain. She was too busy repeating herself and threatening to call the police. So in order to not waste any more time, we left our dog in the car with it running and the AC on. Waking back to the car I grab my dog and the photographer and I walk out to the street, now were on a public sidewalk, here she comes again to rant about the dog. The dog never stepped foot on the property and we took the pics anyway. This park is a waste if it continues to be run by unprofessional rude people. This is exactly why it has such bad reviews. Whats it good for if people stop going.
